Madeline giggled cutely , then ran right up into Kara`s face . " You`re a feisty one , aren`t you ? " she giggled again , then reappeared at the balcony door . " Traveled with her for a few years . Seems like she`s always causing a commotion , no doubt ? I mean , just look at that Lycan in the lobby . Bleeding all over the cushions . " After coming to the foot of the bed , Madeline looked right into Kara`s eyes and asked sweetly , but sternly , " so , why can`t I hear your thoughts ? "

Kara tapped her head. "My mind is blocked. No one can read it now. And i don't think Core's that much trouble. Compared to me that is." she told the vamp in front of her. "So tell me Mr. Psy. Whats your name?" She asked the girl. Getting annoyed of all the jumping she's doing.

" Dye to you , " she said , scanning Kara up and down . " Kara , right ? " She giggled again , her tutu swaying lightly . Demons were such fun .

Kara was getting agrivated. She released some of her power and the room sudddenly got weird. It didn't look like the normal room it was. In fact it was a whole different place entirely. "Leave me alone Vamp. If you want to find Core she's at Los Noches. Now. GO!!!" She said sending power through each word. The room went back to normal and Kara resealed the power. She turned away from the vampire and closed her eyes. She had no idea what was going on but what ever it was is not good.

Madeline laughed manically on the ground . Lifted her head , she had a large fanged smile on her face . " Quite the power , " she murmured , feeling the intensity of the attack . " I spend 40 years with her and her maker . No , I want to know more about you . Who are you Kara ? " It was then she stood up , her dark grey eyes fixed on Kara .

Kara opened her eyes and shook her head. "I only let my friends know who i am. And actually not even they know everything. And your not considered my friend. You entered my home without my permission and started acting all high and mighty around me so your off to a bad start." Kara told the vamp meanly.

Madeline frowned slightly , like a child not getting what they wanted . Which , truly , was what happened . But then a completely mischievous smile came upon her lips . " Oh poor Kara . You`re thoughts may be hidden , but your emotions are like an open book . " And with that , the powerful vampire had Kara calmed , and slightly sleepy , within mere seconds . " And it`s not my fault you don`t lock your doors , " she added, walking towards Kara . " Now , let`s try this again , " Madeline said , standing over Kara now , who was lying on the bed , " who are you ? "

Kara shook off the tiredness. She glared at the vampire in front of her. "Even if i don't lock my door you should still knock before entering someone else's home." She told her spitefully. "And no matter how many times you ask me my answer will just be the same. I don't share things with people who aren't my friends." Kara said meanly.

" Oh , silly child , " cooed Madeline . It was then she stroked her cheek , and sensed a strong wave of psychic ability , for when angered , most don`t have much control . On the upside , the Animalian`s guard was down , and she used that to her advantage . As the child read Madeline`s history , Madeline wrapped her mind around the child`s . Taking away her hand , Madeline had successfully captured the tainted`s mind . She couldn`t put up any barriers , now . " Ah , but I am your friend , am I not ? " inquired Madeline . The demon nodded . " So , who exactly are you ? " She leaned in curiously to Kara`s face , and watched her eyes carefully . They were glazed over .

Landing softly upon the balcony , Core noted that Madeline indeed was here . Concerned for her friend , Core grabbed Madeline by the arms and pulled her away . " I refuse to let you harm my friends ! " yelled Core , leading her towards the other side of the room . Kara was awake again after a few seconds .

Madeline shrugged out of Core`s grip easily , a frown on her lips . " Oh , please , " said the Psy , exasperated , straightening out her tutu style skirt . " You should truly respect your elders . I was only having a bit of fun . " At the last sentence she smiled and did a suggestive wave towards Kara . Dye had also sensed another vampire , but it didn`t matter her . Her barriers were up , strong and full . " Got some new friends , I see , " she noted , " does Benji approve ? " There was a small pause while Madeline viewed Core`s immediate past . " Oh , how sad . He was such a nice character . Oh , well , live long and die hard , no ? " She was smiling again . Always upbeat , even after just watching a child see her maker dead .

Kara groaned. "Both of you leave me alone!!!" She said meanly. She wasn't in the mood for this now. Espacially after what had happened today. But she wasn't stupid enough to let the Psy vamp read her. She put up all her sheilds again. "I have enough problems as it is. So if you quarrel do it somewhere else."Kara said spitefully.

Kara sighed. She hated people like her. They were so focused on their world they didn't care about others. She went onto her balcony and looked at the sky. The moon was hidden by the clouds. She then decided to open her mind to everything around her. Thats when she heard the screaming. "Crap....." Kara said right before jumping off the balcony and heading through the alleyway.((Exits to City))
