Nai had, thankfully, been so focused on simply using the jutsus that she had remained completely oblivious to the “tsk” that the Hokage had sounded out. As it was, all she heard Tsubame say were the instructions after the test. The girl nodded when it was right to do so, and when offered the charm, she took it quietly and respectfully, reaching out with both hands to carefully cradle the small emblem while simultaneously bowing slightly. Really, it looked quite cute to the girl and she could envision the little green and beige owl hopping around cheerfully. Just as carefully as Naiten had received the charm, did she likewise store it away in her left sleeve-pocket, going so far as to take out the kunai that had been there to make sure that the charm did not get scratched. As for the kunai, the girl quietly stored it in the front pocket of her jacket.
After storing the charm safely away, Naiten stood up gently and silently from her seat and bowed one last time as a sort of respectful farewell before leaving the classroom to go to the library, her assigned destination. Just as she left, the girl could hear the hokage begin speaking to the other girl. However, she didn’t pause to listen, not wanting to get caught and draw attention to herself.

 Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageAs Nai left the room, Itsuki redirected her attention once more to the student in front of her and remaining casually leaning against her arms, she face reverted back to its blank look as she watch Kilanari start. As the student performed the technique, Itsuki took mental notes as she did with Nai and noticed that she chose accuracy over speed. Depending on the situation, sometime giving up speed for a more accurate attack would be considered wise but sometimes giving up slightly on accuracy for speed is necessary. 'Well this is just her first technique demo, let's see how she does on the second.' Nodding her head in approval, Itsuki's face remained neutral as she edged her on to the next technique. "Continue..." Eye gazing attentively at Kilarnari's movements, Itsuki made sure to let nothing slip by her as she carefully assessed her abilities.

He said as he performed a series of seals slowly. He did this over and over going faster with each time. Finally he was at normal speed and release chakra with it. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)" Kyo said as water formed from out of the ground and created a mirror image of himself. "Now you try." He said gesturing to Sypher.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageStill in her casual pose of leaning on her outstrectched hands pressed to the table edge, Itsuki watched as Kilanari easily produced the next jutsu as well without much trouble. 'A complete 180 from the performance Tsuchigumo-san showed just moments prior to this. Hm...I feel like there's just some small detail that I have forgotten...what could it be?' Face revealing nothing of her thoughts, Itsuki remained silent for a moment longer than neccessary in order to try and piece together her stray thoughts. She knew for a fact that what was troubling her had nothing to do with the girl's techniques, it was more about the girl herself that seems to get Itsuki wondering about a issued sealed up in the back of her mind.
Saving the stray thoughts for later, Itsuki eased back into a standing position with the grace of swallow comfortably taking flight. After years of training in her family's weapon style, such movements have became a part of her core, keeping her footing as light and soft as possible, most of the time Itsuki's footsteps could even seem muted if the right conditions present itself. Circling the clone, Itsuki simply nodded her head in approval before making her way towards the door. Maybe with more training, she'll finally figure out what it was about this girl that tapped into her old memories. "Good job Kilanari-san, it seems you can handle the basics really well but will it be the same when we move on to your primary element."
Stepping out of the classroom, Itsuki continued down the corridor with the swiftness drilled into her since young. Pushing open the plain doors of the academy, Itsuki led the two of them into the open courtyard and stoped in a nice open area. Facing Kilanari, Itsuki asked her another question regarding her training knowledge. "Now then Kilanari-san, we'll be moving on to doton-training. Mind telling me just how knowledgeable you are on doton techniques? It'll give me some insight on where to start. You're goals and amibitions would also be appriciated."

Natsu strolled into the Academy, his black eyes gazing about the area. Immediately, the smell of Itsuki hit him. He smiled, happy to see someone familiar. It had been a bit since he'd really been home, the mission in Mist had taken some time. There were some new people, such as a girl who seemed to want to just let things hang loose. He recognized the scent of the girl from the library, as well as the boy he had once called a chicken. Surely enough, Itsuki was there, and seemed busy training a student. Natsu walked over to her, and bowed deeply. "Ikki-sama! How nice to see you again" He said, lifting his head up and exposing his smile. Happy popped his head out from behind Natsu's leg, waving a hello at the Hokage as well. "Have you seen Zin-sempai? I was told to wait at the library, so that we may begin training...but he hasn't shown up yet. I believe he was looking for you." Natsu said, a questioning look upon his face.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageAs Itsuki patiently waited for Kilanari's response, she sensed someone approaching their location. Trained to remain calm in all situations, Itsuki kept her face nutral as she kept her gaze forward. When the person stopped walking, Itsuki heard the sound of rustling clothes that indicated movement. Judging from the shadow to resting to her right, the person was bowing and had some sort of animal of sorts peaking from its legs. 'Who?' Her question was answered almost immediately as the person spoke, revealing himself to be Natsu.
Turning around, Itsuki flashed him a small smile dispite being in her professional mode. Giving Happy a small wave in hello, Itsuki then crossed her arms across her chest in a more casual manner while she listened to the rest of his words. 'Tojiro-san was looking for me eh? Well it doesn't seem like it...wonder what's up?' The annoying nagging sensation was back and Itsuki was more than tempted to locate Zin right then and there but she knew how delicate the situation in Leaf was and would not be so stupid as to cause unneccessary panic. 'Guess it's time Tojiro-san and I had a little talk about loyalties...'
Face not revealing her inner thoughts, Itsuki kept her outlook peaceful as she raised her right index finger to her cheek. "Is that so?" Tilting her head a bit as she spoke, Itsuki made sure to sound purely curious of her chuunin's minor disappearance. "Well I haven't seen Tojiro-san at all today so if he really was going to look for me, he'll most likely show up here eventually so why don't I train you until then?" Voice still sounding innocent in its actions, Itsuki revealed none of her calculating thoughts that were circling inside her mind. 'I knew there was something off about him from the start but still...better ask about the mission and get as much info from Netsu as I can. He might try to keep a few things hidden.'

Natsu nodded his head at her statement, wondering what the crap was taking him so long. Any further insight he had to offer on the subject was wiped away at the thought of training. He clapped his hands together, feeling pumped up as he readied himself. "It'd be an honor to learn from you once more!" He said, his eagerness showing on his face. Natsu began to stretch out his limbs, holding his arm across his body, he watched Itsuki and waited for her response. Inside of Natsu's little head, he wondered about her. He had never heard of her before she became Hokage, of course perking up curiosity. She didn't look very old, perhaps not so much older than he. He'd seen her in a playful manner once, when he'd been under her tutelage. When that lady from Sound came, the name escaping his head, he had seen her immediately switch of to business. For awhile, he pondered.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageSmirking at the boy's eagerness and excitement when it came to learning shinobi techniques, she was suddenly reminded of a former teamate who was the same. Though the teamate had annoyed her during her 'closed off' years, he did end up becoming a pretty decent ninja just as she was sure Natsu would in the near future. 'First things first is to make sure he's completely ready for the Chuunin exams.'
As she lowered her arms from their earlier stance, Itsuki paused mid-way in order to form the well memorized hand seals of the Kage Bunshin technique. A cloud of smoke immediately appeared next to Itsuki as an exact replica of her was created. Indicating for her clone to handle Natsu with a nudge of her head, Itsuki waved a simple goodbye to them as she returned her attention to Kilanari. "Sorry about that, my student needed some training. So, have you figured out your response yet?

Having understood her orignial's simple indication, the clone began walking a few feet from the other party. Standing near the wall that circled the academy, the clone turned to face Natsu and spoke in a casual tone she reserved for outside of the office. To Itsuki, training was considered 'her' time and the need for professionalism wasn't needed. "So, back again for more training eh? Got anything you wished to learn or should I just push you till you can no longer handle the heat?" Keeping her stance loose, the clone placed her right hand to her hip as she waited for Natsu's reply.

At Natsu's confident and smug reply, the clone couldn't help but smirk in response. "We'll see about that..." Taking a moment to go over the list of katon techniques that she had in her repritoire, Itsuki pondered over which ones to train Natsu in. 'Hm, well it never hurts to have a long list of techniques to choose from so I guess we'll wrap up the basics and move on from there. Some universal techs will also be usual to have as well.'
Done with conjuring up a training plan, the clone looked to energetic and pumped up Natsu and spoke. "Alright Natsu-san, we'll start off today's training by wrapping up the basics Katon techniques. Do your best to follow along alright?" Bring her hands in front of her, Itsuki intertwined her fingers as she prepared her demonstration. "First off...the 'Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu'." Itsuki demonstrated the hand seals once without chakra for Natsu to see and then she stepped back into the cover of the shadows and she quickly reperformed the handsigns. Focusing her chakra into her lungs, Itsuki could feel a burning sensation corsing though her veins as fire built up within her body. Exhaling outward, Itsuki blew out a small burst of heat and flame that was bright enough to clear away the shadows. The technique lasted for about a second before fading away. Facing her student once more, Itsuki futher explained the technique. "As you can see, this was a flare technique. Though it lasts for only a second, it's still enough to help illuminate a small space. Focus your chakra to you lungs and then exhale outward. Also, try not to lose control over your chakra for if you do, your lungs might never be the same again." As she said this, Itsuki was still unaware of Natsu's bloodline's unique ability to handle fire so of course she stuck to warning him of the dangers of mishandling any fire techniques.
Raisin up her right hand in a 'stop' action, Itsuki made Natsu wait before allowing him to start practicing the technique. "Since I said we would wrap up the basics, I plan to show them all to you before you start so be patient alright." Still acting casual, Itsuki tone was soft and light as she continued on with her lesson. "Alright, next up..." Itsuki smirked a bit as a fun idea popped into her mind as to how she could go about demonstrating the next technique. Smiling slyly at her student, Itsuki's eyes glimmed with mischief as she began explaining the next technique.
"Though offensive katon techniques are fun and all, we still need to learn some support techniques if we ever hope to create openings. As such, the 'Katon: Fukumen no Jutsu' is the perfect of all distractions. Its a simple technique really, just focus and build up your chakra into your hands and using the catalyst release it all out into the open. Like so," Itsuki raised both her hands up to form the handseals slowly and acurately, not repeating them this time around, Itsuki flowed straight into the technique as she clapped both hands together. Using the chakra that had accumulated to her hands during the molding of the chakra, Itsuki released a hot white flash in front of Natsu. Using this momentary flash as a cover, Itsuki used her assassin trained body to swiftly and silently ran behind Natsu. Once behind him, Itsuki wrapped a thin but strong arm across his torso just as the remainder of the flash faded. Leaning forward slightly, Itsuki whispered dangerously into Natsu's right ear. "First a distration and then..."
Opening her right hand, Itsuki activated the next technique on the list which was the 'Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu'. Easily snapping her figers, Itsuki skillfully brought the flame to the palm of her hand as she used her chakra to amplify it into a small flame. "...a hit." Pushing off her left foot, Itsuki twirled to the front of Natsu and slammed her right palm with the small burning flame forward towards Natsu's side, only conneting with her thumb and index finger as to limit the damage dealt to her student. If Itsuki had made the technique connect fully with her student's torso then he would have suffered from several minor burns which she obviously wanted to prevent. Just scrapping his sides a bit with the flame should be more than enough to show him the power of such a technique.
Returning back to her casual standing stance with her right hand on her hip, Itsuki gave her student a moment to regather himself before explaning her last move to him. "Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu, its a technique similar to the 'Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu', in the sense that we create a fire using our hands. The small spark is to be placed on our palm and using our chakra we amplify it to the point where the spark becomes a small flame. That's not all though, you then follow up the creation of the flame with a palm attack towards your opponent. This technique is strong enough to light up clothes and cause minor burns. Any questions?"

Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flare Technique)
Description: By molding chakra into ones lungs properly, they are able to exhale a short burst of heat and flame which basically explodes from the mouth. The fire itself actually only lasts for about a second. But its effect is that it illuminates dark places, if only for but a few seconds.
Katon: Fukumen no Jutsu (Fire Release: Veil Technique)
Description: A stall technique which really only helps genins in this stage of learning accustom themselves to the less subtle methods of Katons. Performing the necessary seals, the user claps their hand in front of them and a hot white flash erupts from their hands that blind people in the closest vicinities. With this opening, the user is able to make a hasty escape or even move in for a killing blow. The severity of the flash, however, lasts only a moment and causes only spots to appear until an opponent’s sight becomes clear again.
Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flaming Palm Technique)
Description: A more advanced version of the Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu, this jutsu allows the user to hold the make spark in their hand. They then amplify it with their chakra until it is a small flame. By mimicking the gentle fist style, the push the flame into their opponent, causing clothes to light, or minor burns on the body.

Natsu's eyes followed Itsuki, watching her think, and begin to explain the techniques. As she spoke about finishing the basics, he nodded his head, agreeing to it. As Itsuki formed the seals, Natsu watched carefully, mindful to keep his ears open as well. When she stepped back into the shadows, Natsu stepped forth, wondering what she was doing. Suddenly, the flames shot out, making him stumble a bit backward. He hadn't been expecting that. If he did, he probably would've eaten it. After her explanation, Natsu briefly wondered what the hell he'd need this for, before brushing the thought aside. Before he could begin, he was stopped by her. She continued on, flashing more seals, and doing more techniques. The first technique was like a little light bomb, rendering him blind for a moment. He couldn't see, but he did hear her slip about him, even smelled her as she got so close to him, her arm slightly colder than he. As she spoke, a shiver rolled through his body. Not only was Itsuki easy on the eyes, she was deadly. As she spun, Natsu immediately tensed, though could not react fast enough, and took the heat to his bare skin, able to only shift slightly, so his vest did not get burnt. She deemed the technique minor, though in Natsu's hands it would pack a harder punch, and a burn.

Her warning made Natsu chuckle aloud before he began to practice the seals. First, he went slow, not wanting to screw up. Despite this, he did it anyway. After sometime, Natsu was able to hammer out the seals easily, and deemed himself ready to do so. As he practiced, he spoke. "Cheh, I'll be careful alright." His words were full of sarcasm.

Natsu formed the seals once more, moving forward to the shadows. His chakra welled up to his lungs, and the familiar rush of flames entered him. Sadly, the flames could not be eaten, and wouldn't satiate him. For some inexplicable reason, a Dragonil could not devour their own flames, and gain something from it. His mouth opened as the burst of heat shot out, illuminating the area about him. It was over momentarily.

The next technique was the Veil technique, the distraction. Coupled with his speed and his affinity for Taijutsu, this could set up a devastating blow to his enemy. A simple flash generated from the heat between his hands. From his experience, he knew that it'd only cause spots to appear, but that would be enough for the set up.

Natsu couldn't recall the seals for the life of him. Luckily, his handy dandy sidekick Happy had been paying attention. The little cat spoke to him quietly, telling him the order of the seals. Natsu performed them as Happy spoke, and every time Natsu messed up, Happy corrected him. Thus the seal training proceeded as such.

Natsu's last run through marked his readiness, and the chakra rushed to his hands. He held them apart for a moment, letting the heat spread to his palms. Natsu then slammed his hands together, letting off a more potent version of the technique. Perhaps Itsuki would take notice of that. The nearby Happy was the one to suffer from this, his large eyes closing as he spun in a circle and fell to the ground, unable to keep his balance from the feeling of vertigo.

The last part was the Flaming Palm Technique, a jutsu Natsu intended to use the next time he was caught in battle. Has Itsuki had, Natsu would form the seals, and then create a spark upon his palm. He'd then push it till it was a small flame. He would do as she did, thrusting his palm forth and pushing the flame upon the target. For this, a little showing off was necessary.

Natsu moved over to an undamaged dummy, and prepped himself for the technique. Once more, Happy coached him up, telling him the sequence. His eagerness made him stumble a bit, as he wanted to rush through the technique. Again and again he formed the seals.

Now it was time for Natsu's golden moment. He widened his stance, and formed the signs once more, the spark forming in his dominant left hand. The spark turned into a small flame, and with the help of his affinity, pushed even more into a larger flame. His arm cocked back, and he opened his palm. His fingers bent down, making his hand a claw as he took the first step forward. The flashback of his time on the rooftop with Zin played, and Natsu followed his movements exactly. Another step was added, as well as the thrust of his body, putting his full force behind the attack. Natsu thrust his arm forth, his palm smashing into the dummy, sending it backward. When it finally stopped, it teetered, and fell to the floor. Natsu dusted his hands off, and observed the burn upon its stomach. His flames were at the level of a chuunin, meaning the burn mark was alot more potent than just causing little burns and lighting up clothes.

Shaking her head at the boy's sarcasm, Itsuki headed over to a nearby tree and leaned her back against it. Crossing her arms, Itsuki watched in amusment as her student began his attempts at learning the three techniques she demonstrated. As she watched his attempts, Itsuki noticed his strong affinity with Katon and grew more and more curious as to the origins of the boy. 'Surely there's some hidden factor playing part in his natural ability over the katon element. When I see how naturally comfortable he is in performing those technique, I'm reminded of myself. His ability over fire is similar to my ability over weapons...' As she thought about his family, Itsuki was suddenly reminded of his sister Suki and her other student Alkaid. 'Strange, I haven't seen them around and at the least Suki would be around to make sure Natsu isn't doing anything wild.'
Returning her attention back to her student, she noticed that he had already completed the flare technique and was moving on to the Veil technique. Snickering a bit when she noticed Happy being the one to coach him through the seals, she can only assume that his memory wasn't as good as his sister's but it's understandable for someone of the taijutsu specialist field to be weaker in terms of ninjtsu. As a weapon master, ninjutsu wasn't her forte as well but it was still slightly better than her taijutsu. It was also because of that fact that she chose to study in an art of taijutsu that would help highlight her natural abilities as a weapon master. The Kunoichi Cobat Style, a style that focuses on the incorporting a female's natural abilites into vicious attacks and dodges, maybe she should teach it to Suki as well. Being a genjutsu specialist and all, that taijutsu will surely prove to be helpful. 'First things first though, I have to locate her and get some form of debriefing done.'
A nearby flash tore Itsuki away from her thoughts as Natsu performed a satisfactory Fukumen no Jutsu, worthy of prise. 'A good strong light, even I have to squint my eye to that. Not bad for a first try.' As the remainder of the flash faded away, Itsuki blinked twice to clear her vision. 'Definiatly a good first try.' Gaze attentively following her student's actions, Itsuki saw him walk over to an undamage dummy and prep for the technique. 'So lets see just how destructive you can be?'
Her good eye widen slightly as she saw the small flame ignite into something bigger and leaning forward, Itsuki watched intrigued as he used he put his whole body into the attack, greatly increasing the force of impact. As the dummy flew back, Itsuki didn't really care that it teetered or fell to the floor, she was more intent of seeing the results of the technique. Eyeing the stomach of the man-made dummy, Itsuki's left eye narrowed, noticing the damage was more than any genin could produce. From the looks of it, the extent of the damage could rival anything a chuunin of the same element could produce. 'Just as I thought, truly impressive. His fire technique can easily been seen as a whole rank higher than what it was, his katon weilding skills might even rival mine by the time he reaches jounin, possibly even earlier.'
Pushing off the tree, Itsuki made her way over to Natsu and patted both his and Happy's head in acknowledgement. "Hey, good work kiddo. Guess you're not all just talk. You mentioned something about a bloodline earlier right? Care to enlighten me? While you're at it, where's the rest of your team?" Eyes becoming serious once more, Itsuki stance was more straight and her posture was reverted parcially back to it's professional look as she waited for Natsu's response. His answer just might affect how much freedom will be offered to Zin once they spoke again. When Itsuki patted Happy's head, she immediately won him over. Natsu on the other hand grimaced. She referred to him as kiddo! His mood shot up at her acknowledging his strength, and then inquiring about his bloodline. Again, his mood shot down at the mention of his team. His sister had taken a break from training, and his girlfriend...ex girlfriend was gone. He sighed deeply, and ran a hand through his pink hair. "Alkaid is gone." He said the statement in a blunt tone, attempting to hide his emotions about it. "Suki's taking a break in her training to continue her studies outside of being a kunoichi." At the thought of the Dragonil Clan, Natsu showed Itsuki the tattoo upon his arm. "Every member born of the Dragonil Clan has an affinity for fire. Well really, only fire. We can't use any other element, but in return, our fire is stronger than others." He lapsed into a momentary silence as he unwound the scarf upon his neck, and held it out. "When a child of the clan first shows their abilities in dealing with fire, whether it'd be eating it, taming it, or shooting it out, they are given a scarf made from the scales of salamanders." He held it out for Itsuki to touch, to see he was telling the truth. "We have other traits, such as the hair color-" He pointed at his hair "And our keen senses. You smell nice." Natsu blurted out. Happy raised an eyebrow at him, wondering if there was actually a brain in there. If there was, he wondered if Natsu understood the things he said.
