Kara finally woke when she heard knocking on the balcony window. She went to her human form and opened it. "Come on in Core." She said then yawned. "Nice to see you, i hope you made it home alright last night, or rather early this morning. By the way, don't go into the kiving room. Wolf is asleep in there." She told Core and sat down on her bed.

Core followed Kara gracefully to her bed . " I know , " she said , " I can handel it . I was just wondering ... Kenile was here ? " Core looked at Kara carefully , hoping it wasn`t a too much of a touchy subject . She sat down next to Kara and started re-arranging the bed to make it look nice . She looked dreamily out the open balcony doors , and noted to get some plants for Kara . And some blood for the fridge .

Kara's eyes got a little wide when Core mentioned Kenile but then again Core has a very keen sense of smell. She sighed. "Yeah..... he showed up yesterday while i was in the shower. I talked to him for a few minutes then kicked him out. He said he'd be back sometime to check on me for some reason." Kara told Core. She hoped Core wouldn't become over protective now like Kile would now that she told about Kenile.

Core sighed quietly at how difficult Kenile seemed to be , then stood up and headed for the kitchen . Completely ignoring a loudly snoring Wolf , she found the pieces of art easily . Picking up the large one , she took out the painting , featuring both the typical , and a grimy New York placed scene . She found the nail in the box , and went back into the living room . On one of the empty walls , she effortlessly pushed the nail into the wall . Placing the 4 feet by 2 landscape painting on the wall , she stood back and amired it . " How much do you mind ? " she asked Kara quietly , before heading back towards the kitchen for the other . She reamerged and went into the bedroom , where Kara was still placed on the bed . Core silently hung up the pencil crayon temperate rainforest picture , waiting for Kara`s answer .

Kara watched as Core hung up all the artwork. She sighed. "Mind about what?" She asked Core. She then layed down on her bed and stared at the ceiling.

" Kenile , " Core said simpily , straightening the newly hung picture . She went back into the kitchen and got the towels then placed them orderly in the bathroom . Walking towards the bedroom , she glanced at Wolf , still asleep . " I could help you with him . Locks , keypads , bulletproof glass , et cetera ... " she said , entering the bedroom . A sly smile came across her lips , " being in New York , it`s not too hard , " Core said , laughing lightly .

Kara shook her head and looked up at Core when she entered the bedroom again. "Nah, i think he's be able to get through those things anyway. Listen i can handle him when he's not upset. He's kinda easy to control when he isn't upset too." Kara told Core. She got up and went to the balcony getting a good whiff of the city air. She stood out there for awhile before coming back in and sitting down yet again on her bed. "Thanks for the concern though but its fine. He won't hurt me." Kara told Core coldly. "Cause or some reason he likes me" She added her eyes narrowed.

" If you say so , " said Core , respecting Kara`s wishes . " Demonic Ties again ? Besides , you need some for the fridge , " she finished , titling her head to the side , trying to convince Kara . They both knew that they might as well put her fridge to use . Also , if Kara ever got injured , it would be useful to speed up her healing .

Kara sighed. She wasn't really hungry but understood Core. "I'll come but i'm not getting anything." She told Core. She sighed as she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote on it. ~ Hey Wolf. I'm going with Core(the vampire) to Demonic Ties for food. You could either wait for up here or meet us there. Even though i have no idea how long we'll be there. Feel free to stay here as long as you want. - Kara~ Is what the note said. She set it down next to Wolf and went to the door. "Come on Core" She called softly making sure not to wake Wolf. She walked down to the stairs and ran down them fast. She nodded to the person at the desk and walked out the door.((Exits to City))

Core left the bedroom and watched Kara write a note for Wolf . What a sweet girl , she thought . Silently , she watched Kara leave , and closed all of the balcony doors quietly . Once that was done , she grabbed the note left for Wolf , and in a bit of mischeive , rubbed the heel of her hand on it , then placed it on his nose . " That should give him some plesant dreams , " she murmured , then giggle quietly and left the apartment , locking the door behind her .
Still giggling , she decided to take the elevator . Upon reached the main floor , she stepped out lithely and waved good bye to the receptionist , then proceeded the full on sprint when she turned away from Core .

Kalan tied the black ribbon into her hair, weaving it through the braid behind her ear. The bandage under her shirt made it a little difficult, considering that Asher had wrapped it too tightly, almost cutting off the blood circulation. She sighed, thinking about how she had gotten scolded for tussling without him. The male in question was of course, out already. It was so like him to leave at first light and not wake her. She stared emptily at the note stuck to the wood framed mirror. "Be here before 3:00 or I'll have your head, child." How pleasant it was, to have such a caring and thoughtful guardian with her. He was so responsible, setting a bedtime. She sighed again, shrugging away the sad tint with a half smile. She knew he really did care, even though he still treated her like a little girl. The way he had fretted over the scratch even after the blood was washed off showed that. It was sometimes annoying. She knew that he still saw her as the weak child he had been forced to protect for so many years. And she also knew that, though she was not helpless anymore, she would still need him for a long time.
The thought brought a smile to her face. At least he had retrieved the papers from the police records. Labeled videos were stacked on the credenza by the far wall, along side the massive folder. Security camera footage, and eyewitness accounts. Even though he was hard to deal with, Asher had his moments. He was thoughtful and precise in his work. She had an idea of where he would be, taking into account the absence of information on sect leaders in the bunch.
Kalan brushed her shirt and genes and then rushed out the door. She would try to head him off.((Exit: City))

Wolf soon awoke to a particularly bad smell. "Eeyuck..." Grabbing something from his face, his eyes slowly focused onto a note. It smelt bad, and he was far too tired to specify to what it was. Wolf eventually was able to read it. He smiled. Hm... Demonic Ties for food? Why there of all places? Wolf stopped, thinking. Ah, well. I s'pose they serve some things that are 'exclusive'. He laughed quietly to himself. Deciding to stay, Wolf walked into Kara's kitchen. Don't mind if I do...

((Enters)) Kara walked into the building carrying bags. She walked to the elevator and went up. After moving the bags around a bit she managed to get the door to her apartment open. "Hey Wolf ya there?" She called in ahead of her. Carefully she managed to put the bags on the counter. She looked up and saw Wolf in the fridge. "You know we have yet to put anything in there......" She told him and then looked at the bags. "I've got food here though. Help yourself." She told him.

Wolf spun around on one heel. "Thought so. Couldn't help but check." He looked at the bags, his eyes bright for a second. "I'll only eat a little... Don't want to be a hassle." Wolf smiled. "You carried all these bags yourself? Could've just asked for some help..." He seemed a bit troubled.

Kara shook her head. "Eat as much as you want. Well as long as you leave a little. I mostly bought this stuff cause i figured you'd still be here. You see i don't eat much." She told Wolf nicely. She worked on gettin everything unbagged then noticed that Wolf seemed troubled. "Hey Wolf whats wrong?" She asked him.
