((ENTERS))
Core entered , silently except for the little ring the door made . She was wearing black skinny jeans , and a black sleeveless blouse today . Next to her was her friend , Kara , a tainted , but a friend to the vampire none the less . Core walked slowly , barefoot , along the rug placed in the center of the foyer , taking in her surrounding . Shorty after a male entered , he was a friend to the two inhuman girls . Core turned her head slowly , her golden brown hair swaying slightly , her bangs constantly covering her red eyes , and her tiara not moving from it`s spot upon her head . She reached the front desk , and placed a white floor length strapless dress on the counter , before addressing the woman working there . " Do you have any open apartments ? " Core asked . " We have a few , " the lady replied sweetly , before switching her attention to her computer screen .

((Enters)) Kara sighed. She just stood by and watched as Core looked for an apartments. Kile entered. "Hey Core. You help Kara pick out an apartment, i'll pay for it." Kile told Core.

Core turned around to face Kile and shook her head slowly . " I cannot allow you to do that . After what I`ve put Kara through . I am certain Kenile would not have attacked Kara if I had not been there . It is the least I can do by far . At least let me pay for half . "
" She was attacked ? " asks the lady behind the desk , a worried tone in her voice . " No , of course not , it`s an inside joke term , " replied Core , her voice soothing . " Ohh , " said the lady , accepting that answer , " well , I have two apartments currently available . One`s - " " Which one`s smaller ? " asked Core , cutting her off , before turning towards Kara , " you just want basic needs , correct ? "

"Trust me even if you hadn't been there Kenile would have definately done what he did." Kara told Core. "Yeah small nothing big or expensive." She told Core.
Kile smiled. He knew the truth behind it all but decided to keep quiet. "Yeah sure you can pay for half if you want." He said to Core.

" The smaller one , " said Core , turning back to the lady . " Alright , " she said , typing quickly on the keyboard , " it`s 1 bedroom , 1 bath , full kitchen . Is that enough ? " Core nodded . " Okay it`s $120,000 total for buy , it`s on the third floor , room 348 . " Core pulled out her wallet and supplied 60 thousand dollars . Then looked expectantly at Kile to give up the other half .

Kile laughed when Core looked at him. "Here you go m'am" He said holding out the other 60 thousand dollars.
Kara groaned. "You people are unbelieveable....." She told her friends.

Core turned her head around and stuck her tongue out at Kara . Quite a childish move considering her age . " Here`s your key , " said the lady , as Core turned back to face her . " Oh , I almost forgot , it comes furnished , " the lady finished , blushing . She took the plastic from the lady , murmured a quiet thank you and bowed slightly , then headed towards the elevators , placed on her right . She walked gracefully towards the elevators`s door , the pressed the up arrow . She looked back and saw Kara still standing where she was 2 minutes ago . " Hurry up Kara , " she said , " we need to figure out how to decorate you new apartment . "

Kara looked up. She sighed. "Ok....." She said glumly. She followed Core with Kile trailing behind her. Which is a good thing cause she'd probably run the other way if he wasn't there to stop her. "Wait what? You people want to decorate it too?" She asked.
Kile knew he should stay behind. Kara had never liked shopping of any kind. Which was probably why she never decided to get a house or apartment to live in. "Yeah, why wouldn't we Kara" Kile replied to her question.

" But of course ! " said Core , entering the elevator . Kara and Kile followed suit shortly , and she hit the 3 button . Within a few minutes , the doors open , and Core followed the signs at vampire speed until she reached room 348 , then used the key gracefully . She opened the door and left it open , then started inspecting the room . It opened up into a living room , and there was a kitchen to the right , with a door at the far end . The living room was painted beige , with white trim , had a light brown love seat across from a fireplace , and two comfy-looking chairs . In the back of the living room were glass double doors leading to a balcony overlooking the busy downtown streets of night time New York . Core went onto the balcony and breathed in deeply , enjoy the air , more pure and less intoxicating with the scarce amount of humans at this level .
She exited off the balcony , and went into a door on her right , the left side of the living room . It opened up into a grand bedroom , painted a darker brown than the living room . It contained a single Queen size bed , with white sheets and a light brown geometric comforter . It had a built in closet on the left , and another set of glass double doors on the right , leading to the same balcony .
After a while she left the room and headed towards the kitchen . This one was more her taste . Asian style kitchen , with dark grey faux marble counter top , and almost-black cupboards . It had a bamboo plant in the far corner on the counter top , and across from it a pantry , the doors matching the cupboards , and a refrigerator next to that . On the counters across from the fridge were jet black shutters , opening up to the foyer , where Kile and Kara were now entering . It also over looked the bathroom , and with the door open , Core could tell it matched in colour to the living room , with a shower-bath , toilet , faux marble counter tops , and a faux stainless steel sink .
" We`ll need artwork , " noted Core , coming out from the kitchen . She sat down on the love seat , and placed her white dress over the back .

Kara walked into the apartment. When she finished looking around she just sat down next to Core on the love seat. "We probably don't need anything if you ask me. Its already too much. Plus you both know very well that i don't eat much. Look at that kitchen, it should belong to someone who needs it, who'll use it more than once." She told them. She sighed. Then again she knew Core wouldn't listen to her. "Why don't you both go shopping for whatever. I'll stay here and take a shower. Besides Kile knows what i like." She said.
Kile nodded when he was done looking over the place. It wasn't as good as his place. But then again if you have a mom who has alot of money and loves to spoil you, you'd have a nice apartment. Besides this place suited Kara. "Aw. Come on Kara, part of having a place to live is decorating it." He told Kara. When he recieved a glare he laughed. "Yeah nevermind, i know you hate shopping." He said carefully hoping he wouldn't get slapped, or worse.

Core did a little smile at their argument , then stood up to go to the mall to buy some artwork , and maybe a coffee table . She left her dress next to Kara , and dropped the key next to her too . She walked out of the door , and turned around momentary to say to Kile , " how fast can you run ? "

Kile smiled. "I can run pretty fast but probably not as fast as a vampire." He replied.
Kara sighed. "If you want to get me anything, try and make it animal related!" She called to the others. She then went to the bathroom and got undressed. She went into the shower and turned the water on. Making it the right temperature she turn the shower part on. For a few minutes she just stood there letting the water seep over her body. She tried to replay the day's events in her head. She couldn't figure out why she was able to attack Kenile after what she'd done in the subway.

Core started running down the halls , making no noise , but running slow enough that mortals would be able see her . She rounded a few corners , and passed the elevators , Kile right behind her . She reached the stairs , and hardly slowing her pace , she sprinted down a total of three flights of steps , conveniently vacant . As she reached the last door , she slowed her pace quickly and gracefully to human walking speed . Kile followed right behind her , breathing slightly heavily . Core waved a small good bye to the lady at the front desk , then went into the cold early morning air .

Kile followed Core. But even as he did he still didn't feel right leaving Kara alone. Kara finished showering and got out. She got dressed and right before she stepped out of the bathroom she smelt him. She walked out and faced him. "What do you want Kenile?" She asked him calmly. Kenile was sitting on the love seat. He was dressed in jeans and a vest that showed his chest. "Its nice to see you too, anyway, you made the pact. You know the rules." Kenile told Kara.((Kile Exits to City))

Kara shook her head. "You know it wasn't finished. Core interupted that. Now you might as well leave for i want nothing more to do with you or the pack. I'm fine on my own." She told Kenile. She even tried to use a little of her power to make him believe what was true.
Kenile smiled. "Yeah sure maybe that bloodsucker did interupt us but you still agreed. Your halfway in, halfway out, and you know how that is. Sometimes it will drive you mad." Kenile told Kara. When Kara didn't say anything he went on. "Fine i'll leave you alone for now, but i want to know something. Why are you hanging with all those others, back in the other plane you said you wanted nothing to do with them." Kenile said to Kara.
