We only have four trumpets right now. 3 are girls and 1 is a guy. They're all pretty good.

Hi! We've got...nine trumpets. Three girls, the rest are guys. First two chairs are girls, so that tells you something.

And even if some people are better than others, that isn't a b ad thing. The less skilled have someone to teach them, and the veterans have a chance to share their skills (they say the best way to learn something is to teach it to someone else). Besides, everyone's a newbie at some point.

Gane: I own two trumpets. One is horrible. My sister uses it, it doesn't tune and when she tryed to clean it. The snake broke. XD My second one, Bonnie and Clyde, is awsome. It was newly revamped and everything. B) But, I'm about the... third, fourth best in our 8th grade class. n_n

But its only because we have a joined band of 7th and 8th graders and the other boy is in 8th grade. I hate experience...

Experience isn't everything; when I was in 6th grade I was 1st chair over about a half-dozen 8th graders.

Er... I have three, if I don't count my... Crud, I can never spell this right, piccolo?, trumpet. It's not really trumpety, so I just clicked on three. That's including my pocket one, though... Probably should have clicked on just two... Oh well. Anyway, the band I'm in right now has twenty one trumpet players in total; kinda sad, considering the next largest section, the drums, only have twelve members. After that, there's the clarinets with eleven, the flutes with eight, and the saxaphones with six. Low brass has three trombones, and one of pretty much every low brass section. It's TRUMPETS! .... with band accompanyment..... Very small band accompanyment...... Anyway, I'm fourth chair right now, but that's not so bad, really. The first three chair trumpet players are seniors, and I'm just a sophmore, so I'm content.

And this is the way it should be; trumpets with band accompaniment!

iOggy Now, see, I would have counted that as four trumpets (You did spell piccolo right, btw wink ). And this is the way it should be; trumpets with band accompaniment! Well, I suppose. It's just so very different from normal trumpets many people who see it really don't catch on to the fact that it IS a trumpet, so it really gets put aside a good bit. -shrugs- Yea, that's been a running joke with my band for ages now. Ever since the trumpet section hit twelve, it was trumpets, and the band. Love it.
