At first, they crackled. They sparked. The light dimmed.
The light flared.
The generators shot a great bright laser into the sky and then exploded, sending shrapnel, debris, and a pulse of sickening energy washing across the area.
General Aqua, General Jet, General Lopezite and Captain Bloodstone lose 100 HP and no longer have any special bonuses from the generator. They are free to move around the field--or take their revenge.
Lupu Knight of Saturn HP: 100 Action: Fighting corruption, comforting Malus and Necro, attacking center console Damage 5 + 7 + 5 = 17 Location: D4
Lupu felt the call of chaos again and he wrinkled his nose, hitting the console before he took both Necro and Malus' hands. "We won't go back. I'm here. We won't go back. Not any of us. Stay strong, okay? We'll have some good food when we get home. Make a nest and just...
He closed his eyes, breathing deeply. "We won't go back."
Name:Super Sailor Noctua HP: 61 Action: Following Benitoite and the man carrying him Damage: Location: B2
The guttural wail that erupted from Noctua’s lips frightened her. Benitoite falling frightened her. Suddenly, this fight frightened her. She looked around, watched the generators fall. Watched people slip between sides like the tide coming and going. Even the warm embrace of chaos did nothing to stem the flow of Noctua’s panic. She felt useless. Weak. Vulnerable.
And they were losing.
How could they be losing? The number didn’t add up. She watched them lose so many to hits and to the chaos itself, but they just kept on coming.
Their generator was down, and Noctua could not see victory. So she followed her general and the man carrying him away from battle to safety, clinging to his hand and trying her best to stay strong for him.
“W-will he be okay,” she pleaded, grasping Benitoite’s limp hand in her own.
Cyd’s voice sounded odd in her ear. Raw. Desperate. The only reason Cyd knew she had made a sound was because her throat hurt. Other than that… all she knew was that another one of her people were about to be erased. And the worst part was that there was no time to mourn. No time to weep and remember. No time to do anything but fight.
So that was what Cyd did. She did what she did best. She flourished her sword like a warning and ran at the senshi who had taken yet another one of her family from her. She reared back. She attacked with everything that she was, bringing her sword down along the back of the senshi.
“Lourdes,” she gasped in response. “Formerly Hopeite.”
It felt better than Hopeite. Infinitely better. It felt like home and like love and like life. It tasted sweet like fresh water. She had to cling to that. She had to remember what it felt like to be her.
He was there again. The corrupted senshi from before, the one with the fire. Lourdes had half a mind to attack him but… she knew it would do no good. She was still on her last legs, and she had no idea how much this senshi had left in him. She had no idea, in truth, if he even could fall, with the chaos all around them as it was. She looked down and her uniform was fluctuating, rippling almost between Venusian and Officer. One moment her weapon was the beautiful staff, the next it was an ugly iron mace.
If she wanted to go back to her old self, Lourdes had to take care of this console.
Take out the head, destroy the beast.
Using her weapon like a bat again, she swung as hard as she could at the control panel.

Name:Beta Leporis HP: Action: Screaming incoherently and then turning her rage to the Generator in D4 Damage: 9 + 3 (Rank) = 12 Location: F4 -->D4
Someone grabbed a hold of her, and Beta screamed. It was a long, loud, ear-piercing wail that surprised even her. One moment she was holding Alpha in her arms, and the next her arms were empty and she was… somewhere else. She spun out of the man’s grip, trembling and whimpering, calling out, occasionally, her sister’s name.
“They took her,” she muttered, her eyes wide and searching for Alpha.
“They took her,” she whimpered again, holding out her arms, as though Alpha were close enough to run back into them. Pure. Uncorrupted. Whole. When no one came to her, Beta wailed again. Wailed for her sister. Wailed for herself. Wailed for her failure and her selfishness and her loss.
Her eyes finally found the senshi in blue (Scylla) and she did all that she could. She grabbed a hold of her hand and begged.
“Please, they took my sister,” she sobbed uselessly. “She-she was just trying to protect me. She’s always trying to p-protect me.” She sniffed, the console made a strange sound, and she snapped.
“WILL YOU SHUT THE DAMNED ******** HELL UP,” she wailed, hurling the nearest stone that she could at the thing, before returning her attention to the eternal senshi that she seemed to have glued herself to.
“We-we have to do something. We have to get my sister back, please.”

Name:Alpha Leporis HP: 15 Action: Hiding because she is very confused. Damage: --- Location: ---
Where once there was restraint, now there was freedom. The youma scrambled around, got herself to all fours, and sniffed the air, her hare’s nose wiggling as she did so. Her black eyes searched for something. Anything. An anchor of some sort. Her little heart beat faster than it had ever beat before. She panted in her stress, backing up until she bumped into a pair of fighting senshi. She squealed, was sent hurtling forward, and decided then and there that, no matter why she was there or how she got there, this was not the place for her.
She wanted to go home.
Instead, she scampered to the quietest corner she could find and hid as best she could, waiting for it all to be over
Eternal Ida HP: 0 Action: going down Damage - Location: F6
The bubbles came out of no where. The sensei who sent them at her had come from across the field and suddenly her vision was blocked by many, glowing little spheres. They might have been pretty, except that when they hit her, they popped, and the impacts hurt. They hit her like a rain of hail, pummeling her until it drove her into the ground again.
She might have passed out for a moment… the world lurched and spun as she groaned, barely clinging to consciousness. Was this it? Had she finally come to the end? At least she’d fought tooth and nail for it… She’d done her best. The warmth of her asteroid still filled her chest, vainly trying to help, but there was nothing it could do for her. She didn’t have the strength left to get up and do anything with it…
She felt a paw, distantly, trying to draw her back. Ida’s eyes fluttered and she rolled her head towards the feeling, seeing a small brown and white body. Oh god, Illyria… and where had Tachibana gotten to? She was supposed to be protecting them… Ida prayed, fervently, that the pair would find their way out without her.
“No, please… you have to go.” She managed to croak as she brushed her fingers against the cat’s side.
Cymophane experienced a brief flash of disappointment before he managed to shove the emotion away. Mostly he was annoyed — at the Senshi whose magic made him think of things he didn’t want to process; at some of his comrades for trying to sabotage the mission.
The Generals and another Corrupt Sesnhi took care of that problem before Cymophane could turn to help.
Good.
Less good was one of the White Moon using their magic on Jet. Cymophane ‘tsk’ed and sent the last of his magic right back at him (Kerberos).
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack:Leopard’s Strike Three long, black claws of energy grow between Cymophane’s fingers. Though he does not have to make contact with an enemy to cause damage, a swipe directed at them will result in torn clothing and the sensation of lacerations to skin. The sensation of pain will last for 30 seconds and has a range of 8 feet. At player discretion, the character can take lasting damage such as mild injuries that are deep enough to scar if desired, but not so much as to be immediately life threatening. The magic can be used three times.
Empyrean, Page of Jupiter HP: 20 Action: Attacking the generator in D6. Damage: 8 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 1 (faction) = 12 Location: into D6
Chaos was spreading. Allies were falling.
Grasping Paradise’s hand, Empyrean struggled onward, breathing through the pain in his chest. Slow. Nice and easy. There were patches of black on his tunic, but he refused to give in, refused to fall here, refused to let go of Paradise.
“Come on,” he told her, voice raspy, barely able to speak.
Generators were falling, first one by one, then two at once.
Empyrean had to believe it made a difference, however small.
He stumbled to the next one, blinking through the haze darkness made of his vision. He did not have the strength to throw his weapon this time, so he held it as firmly as he could and began to bang on the generator with it.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos HP: 45 - 25 = 20 Action: Attacking the generator in D6 Damage 10 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 1 (faction) = 14 Location: F6 to D6
Another generator was down. The light flared and Paradise had to shield her face from any of the debris being shot across the area.
There was still the sickening feel of Chaos everywhere, but they were trying so hard to fight it. They just had two more left. They just needed to take out those last two and they could hopefully all go home.
She crumpled a little under the weight of the Chaos seeping into her, but she clutched tightly to Empyrean’s hand. He had always been her anchor, and that would never change. As long as she had him, she knew she would be okay.
“Maybe we-- should give the kids more credit… for handling stuff like this,” she breathed heavily as they made their way to the next generator. She didn’t have a solid weapon like Empyrean, so she tugged off her shoe to smack the generator. She would do her part, and hopefully it would all add up to something worth it.
Reidite was quick to follow Cymophane’s lead, but since he didn’t have any magic, he followed up Cymophane’s magic attack with a kick to the Eternal Senshi (Kerberos) attacking General Jet.
He was annoyed that there were so many Senshi and Knights and traitors that showed up in their area. Especially when the Queen was right there watching. She didn’t seem to mind too much, or at least there was nothing happening that would pull her away from where she held the border.
“Stay back. I don’t look forward to whatever happens once they overwhelm the center,” he requested Cymophane, speaking to him in Russian. He doubted the other would listen if he really didn’t want to, but it was worth a shot.
Carnallite swore under her breath with the loss of the generator, but the mission wasn’t over. She looked at Bloodstone long enough to ascertain his status before making her way to the next generator, assuming the White Moon would follow, if they hadn’t made their way already.
She found a Page in black-drenched green wailing on the generator with some rusty hunk of metal.
Carnallite threw her boomerang at him. Stupid old man she be home in bed.
Roselite was splattered with raspberry jam (better than blood, he told himself). His hands stung where it got the exposed skin, but he was okay. A little shaken up, but okay.
Kind of sticky, but okay.
The generator was down, though. Which seemed bad. Like they were failing. And Roselite didn’t like failing. A mixture of sadness and frustration brought tears to his eyes, but he swallowed and kept the disappointment at bay. They’d not lost yet, and Bloodstone was still fighting.
“Captain!” Roselite called to him, approaching.
He made no move to touch him, but it was a near thing. Bloodstone was attacked. He was injured. He looked like he might be tiring. Roselite wanted to treat him, but the battle raged around them.
After, he told himself.
If they both made it out of here alive.
They would. Bloodstone would, surely. And Roselite? He would try his best.
“We should help with the next one,” he said, jittery with nerves, heart pounding with anxiety.
They went. Roselite didn’t let himself consider his options. It was easier if he didn’t, so he threw his butterknife at the first person he saw, a figure in a white dress (Paradise).

Empyrean, Page of Jupiter HP: KOed. Action: Passing out Damage: None. Location: D6
The toy boomerang struck Empyrean in the head with a plunk.
He stumbled, then slumped face-first into the ground.
Actaea had run out of time, she hadn't been bombarded by chaos in her weakened state and she couldn't keep it out any longer. She felt the chaos filling her heart and taking over her. She screamed as she was covered in darkness and corrupted. She passed out after that. She lay there on the ground turned into corrupt senshi of harvests. It was somewhat funny since Halloween had just passed and the veil was still weak so perhaps darkness was stronger in a sense than light. She didn't know what would become of her after this and right now she didn't have to worry about it. Her outfit was now all orange and black.
Actaea summons a spectral, semi-transparent circle of wheat around one target of her choice, and a spectral scythe begins to slash at the wheat--and the target. The scythe cannot be controlled or wielded and will appear as though it is just trying to reap the wheat. The wheat field has a five foot diameter around the target and will follow them even if they run. target will feel the sensation of being slashed at while the harvest is occuring; the pain will end when the magic fades, though players can choose to take physical damage at their discretion. The target must be within her line of sight, and the magic will last for 30 seconds and can be used 3 times per battle.

Captain Bellite HP: 75 HP Action: Bonding with a youma Damage n/a Location: F4
Bellite was not a fighter, she knew she wasn’t a fighter, but she had come to this shindig to help beef up the numbers...and obviously she wanted to learn. To observe. She was the best at that. The chaos coming from the machine was as amazing as she had hoped it would be. Intoxicating, honestly. It made her feel quite wonderful. There had been those of their side who had turned traitor, but others of the other side who had corrupted against their will...and one.
Well. One senshi turned into a youma, and Bellite had honed in on it, curiosity igniting in her heart.
Well...This was…
Something new. The poor thing looked utterly terrified, and honestly...that was to be expected. All of the noise, all of the violence...but. She would be fine. After all, Bellite was here to assist her.
Quietly, the Captain slipped out of where she had been hiding and made her way to the youma, placing a hand on the top of her head. “Hello little one. What a day you’ve had…” Her voice was soothing, and she looked over the rabbit looking creature with interest and expectation. “Would you like to be my partner? I’ll call you Angora, and I’ll see that you’re kept safe.”
This was a Senshi turned youma, a youmafication that she had seen with her own eyes...and for a moment Bellite couldn’t help but think of Evan. “When we get home, Gora, I’ll get you some tasty food to eat.” Or starseeds. She wasn’t sure. But, she knew that Angora would be safe now, and if she had her way, she would never be so frightened looking again.
