As Apollo chatted up his acquaintance his pokemon, the curious beings that they were, instantly found interest in the new pokemon that accompanied the blonde. Though they didn't immediately interact or even try and approach them, Pearl did make it a point of stretching out onto her hindlegs to watch with wide eyes as the bajillion tokens on the counter moved themselves, somehow piling themselves into neat piles. It was magic! Or... psychic ability, but she liked the former better.

After one particular incident where a nearby pile was thrown about Pearl dropped back down onto all fours, quickly deciding that she'd be safer on the ground; she didn't want to lose an eye to a token. He knew that, no matter where he went, Prim would follow him, and those tokens she was carrying were bound to be heavy, given her size, so instead of forcing the flower to lug them around he decided to make a pit-stop. Gaining Tybalt's attention first, he indicated silently of his intentions then watched as the Gallade opened up his pouch to allow Prim to drop her tokens in. There, problem solved.

It was as he'd suspected. Soon after making eye contact Prim drifted over to the catapult, rubbing her hands together eagerly, and then, after making sure her plushie was secured, took both sides of the catapult and pulled down. It was clear to see that she was having some trouble with the device, her cheeks puffing out as she strained to pull it all the way down. She didn't give up however, much to her credit, and once she was satisfied she let the contraption loose, her eyes widening with glee as she watched her stuffed poekmon doll sail through the air. She actually managed to get it an impressive distance, in fact, and with her chest swelling up with pride Prim returned to show Klefki her spoils.

Olivia dropped down into a curtsey upon Vince's thanks, even going so far as to cross her ankles when doing so. "You're quite welcome, my good sir." Of course, she liked him for more than just proving chivalry was still alive; but considering that was what their current topic revolved around she'd keep her compliments to just that subject. Olivia straightened back up, flashing a grin, returning a position that she could move in. Once the two had settled in and begun discussing the topic, quite literally, at hand there came a point where Olivia offered Vince a sip of her own drink, and he responded in kind, giving her the chance to taste his. With a nod she slid her bottle over to Vince before taking hold of his glass and brought it to her.
Taking a slow sip of Vince's drink Olivia found herself almost immediately surprised by the drink's bitterness, a sharp contrast to her own drink, and although she wasn't necessarily a fan she found that it wasn't a hard drink to swallow, rather opposite in fact; though the creamy texture guaranteed that the taste would linger in her mouth for at least a few seconds longer. Though it wasn't necessarily bad, if offered to her again in the future she couldn't see herself accepting it. "Mm, it's not terrible," she commented as they switched drinks. "I'm glad you like it." Olivia took another sip of her red tail, giving herself the chance to wash out the previous taste, quickly swallowed and then continued their conversation, inquiring Vince for his thoughts on his first drink, though when he confessed that he'd had had drinks before, at family gatherings, this prompted Olivia to inquire about the man's family.
Resting her elbow onto the bar, and then her hand on the palm of her hand, Olivia gave Vince her full attention as he described his parents individually. She laughed quietly and in her head mused over how much Vince acted like his father, or at least how Vince described him. She raised an eyebrow curiously, however, when he paused, coming to a halt right as he got around to talking about how his father looked at his mother. Luckily, coaxing wasn't needed for Vince to finish his sentence, as he did so of his own initiative. It was heart-warming, to say the least, hearing how clearly his father loved his mother; though the icing on the cake was when Vince admitted to wanting to achieve the same thing. "Aww, Vince~ That's adorable!" Olivia gushed, gently nudging the male's shoulder even as he looked away in the other direction. It was a goal every adult wanted to achieve, wasn't it? Finding love, Olivia certainly knew that was something she wanted. Even so, hearing Vince actually verbalize such a desire... it was just endearing. "I bet you will, one of these days. Give it time~"
Done gushing, Olivia settled down and grew quiet once more to listen to Vince finish speaking of his family, nodding slowly when he brought up their time in the Distortion World and how he'd chosen to battle the Tyrunt they'd come across, rather than send one of his pokemon out. "Really? I had no idea..." Were all dragons like that? If they were, she'd never cut it out to be a dragon tamer. Unlike Vince, the only weapon she had was a gun, which wasn't effective for battles, and she doubted wrestling any dragon type would end well for her. "Your mother sounds like a wonderful woman," she heard herself say, drawing her mind away from her thoughts and back to the conversation.
Surprised, she quirked an eyebrow when it was revealed that Vince had four other siblings, though when she thought about it, it made sense that he'd have a large family like that; it seemed.... appropriate. "Is he?" Olivia brightened up when Vince mentioned his older brother getting married, "congratulations to him! Will you be going back to Blackthorn for the wedding?" She'd only been to a handful of weddings in her life, second cousins and once, when she was younger, her aunt's. But she'd never been to an immediate family member's wedding, those were the types of wedding that were nearly mandatory to attend; at least in her eyes. As Vince asked for a refill on his glass, asking the name of his drink in the process, Olivia reflected on the information she'd learned. Vince's family sounded comfortably large, much different than her own. "I only have a brother, he's fifteen too," she told him, taking another drink from her bottle. She realized she hadn't told much about herself, and though she did have her reasons, she felt bad for not telling him a little bit about herself. After all, he'd shared quite a bit with her.

"She’s fine. She’s tough." Was Sebastian’s response to Jay’s questions, his tone semi-reassuring though with a hint of his own concern. Gin was a tough one, if countless battles before had proven, but it was still always a bit worrying to have one’s pokemon combat against rather powerful enemies. He rubbed the back of his neck in thought. He’d get her a treat or something for it all.
As they conversation shifted on to what else was left to do in the fair, Sebastian quirked an eyebrow. Jay didn’t really sound all that enthused to stick around to be honest and he certainly didn’t want to force the man to stay. Or at least, he didn’t seem too keen on the whole stage show situation. He smiled a little though as he at least seemed to agree to check the prize booth; that was a worthwhile venture. "Great! Then yeah, let’s go check out the prizes." He happily chimed, adjusting the Igglybuff in his arms.
When Jay inquired, he quirked an eyebrow chuckling a bit as the cowboy quickly caught on. "Ah, yes it did actually." No need to mention how he tripped and assumed he’d broken the thing initially. Igglybuff cooed and wiggled her arms, giant eyed gaze focusing a moment of Jay as he spoke. Her expression shifted to a sort of blank stare as she did, seeming to take in fully who this new stranger was. What was running through her mind? That wasn’t quite certain. She was quite though, which surprised her trainer.
"Hm… alright. That’d… that’d actually be really helpful if you did. No need to trouble yourself or her though." He replied gratefully. "I’ve never hatched a pokemon from an egg before. I just want to make sure there isn’t much difference." Sure he had Pichu but he seemed a little more advanced for a baby pokemon. Igglybuff had come straight out the egg. He just… wanted to be certain.
With Jay’s team returned –Sebastian shifted between a smile and a frown at the sights- and healed up he nodded, eyeing the bucket of tokens with surprise. "Wow, your pokemon got a pretty good haul." He commented, grinning a little and nodding, once more adjusting Igglybuff in one arm while grabbing up his bag. "Yeah, sure let’s go!" Sebastian remarked, turning and heading back out into the fairgrounds. "Careful, the grounds still pretty muddy. Don’t let your boots get stuck." He joked, looking about and leading the way back towards the prize booths.

The Ralts had apparently picked up on the importance of tallying right while she was around. The process had slow down because of it but there had been less commotion because of it. Which was good, she didn’t want to have to hurt the other pokemon.

Noah continued to watch Cheri with concern, though as it became clear that the Ralts recognized the importance of doing its job right, the Espurr seemed to calm down. He hopped off the counter himself, glancing at his trainer and the other fellow. He recognized him from earlier; he’d had the nice Gardevoir who’d helped them out when the battling was going on. He puffed his chest out a little at the thought, gaze shifting around to see if he spotted the pokemon. Instead he caught sight of the two pokemon prowling around with Apollo, watching them curiously a moment before skipping off on his own just a bit. Maybe he could play some more games while they waited. A few more tokens were always good.
