as Kai made contact he got a mind full of chaos from Ialo, a seemingly endless stream of bickering passed his ear as a metal version of himself appeared in his mind. "well now It's a bit more blank then I thought it would be ... at least he could add some color." Kai said to himself seeing the Ialo, or atleast the dragon half of him, towering out of the darkness of his mind.

{{I'll just have Lin hang around the school in the halls and see if anything happens, if she stumbles into anything. lol!!}}
Lin had changed into a dark green silk dress that just brushed lightly against the ground. It had long sleeves that billowed out elegantly. To some, it might look like she was overdressed for a Sunday night at school, but this was actually just another normal outfit elves would wear. Why only dress up for special occasions?
With the sides of her hair pulled back in an elegant french twist and the rest of her hair flowing down her back in soft curls, Lin was ready to go peruse the school. She doubted she had missed anything since she had been gone, but it couldn't help to look around.
So, she picked up her bow and arrows, slung the arrow container over her shoulders crosswise, and headed out to casually walk around.

Alec was mildly surprised when Athena came barging into his room all of a sudden, enough to cause him to jerk involuntarily and throw the small fireball into the ceiling. The fireball in question then decided to explode in a mini shower of sparks which, luckily enough, fizzed out in the air without catching anything else on fire. Alec got over his shock quickly though when he realized who it was that had entered his classroom. "Well hey there Athena! And... Nathan? What're you both doing here?" Alec looked specifically at Athena as he said, "And just what are you doing up this late young lady? I'm all for free thinking, but most people need to sleep at least 8 hours a day."

"I got here the same way you got here," Nathan replied. "I found myself in the school, and decided to ask for a tour." He didn't mean to come off sounding cheeky, but he probably did anyways. "I'm sorry, I should have realized students have curfews..." He shot a Dad Look at Athena.

Ophiuchus walked back inside the school. Most of the hallways were dark, and there was hardly a soul still awake, aside from those who had just come back from their adventure.
"Lin?" Ophiuchus had seen the girl down the hallway while passing through an intersection. "Why are you walking around with your bow and arrows?" There was no need to ask why she was awake. Of course, Lin might have her own questions - why there was a telltale taint in the god-gone-professor's presence of dark magic, and a faint smell of smoke.

Lin had already sensed her professor nearby before he called out to her. Well, she thought it was him because she sensed his familiar power pattern, one that was incredible and so powerful, but something was different. His power didn't seem as strong or as... bright?... as usual. It was hard to explain what elves and some other creatures could sense sometimes. But she could definitely notice a difference in her professor before she even looked at him.
When she did turn around, her head was cocked to the side in puzzlement and her brow was slightly furrowed. "Good evening, Professor Akakios." She curtsied respectively and then stood back up straight.
"Well, sir, if I could find no one else around the school at this hour, I was going to get in some practice with my bow. If... if you do not mind me asking, sir, I cannot help but notice that there is something different about you. Are you alright?"

"Of course you noticed," He said to himself, more than Lin. "Between you and me, I had some business to take care. There was a bit of a brawl, and while I didn't actually do any fighting, there was some serious collateral damage and a couple of dark spells going back and forth." That last part was probably an understatement.
"Feel free to examine me, I assure you I'm the one and only Professor Akakios," Ophiuchus said honestly. Lin was his favorite student, and he respected her abilities very much. "I'm just dandy, but I'll probably smell like smoke and dark magic for another day or two."

She knew it was Professor Akakios. She knew it from the moment he was near her, before he spoke. But she didn't care what he said. He obviously needed a power recharge.
She was startled at what he had told her about what happened. This all had gone on while she was at home? She could have helped! She loved being home, but she wished she had been here to help everyone.
"Professor, please let me help you. I know of a perfect power boost potion that is a special recipe passed down in my village. It should help you greatly! And how is everyone else? Does anyone else need help? I do not need sleep, sir, so I can offer all the help you need!"
She nodded her head confidently and held her bow assuredly.

"A... A power recharge sounds wonderful, actually," Ophiuchus admitted. "But there's others who need it more than I do. Miss Wolfe, Professor Leaton, and especially the Headmaster and a.. colleague of mine. This is strictly confidential, but it got rather messy. I'm glad you weren't there."

For the first time, Lin showed some true backbone to one of her professors here at Mystic Fountain. She stuck out her chin stubbornly and had a fierce look in her eyes.
"Professor Akakios, I may not have been here long, but I would like to help my school in any way I can. I am a skilled archer and can add flame to my arrows. I may not have experienced much war first hand, but I know I could have helped."
"As it is, all I can help with now is brewing potions for you all. But I can and will do that! Come, sir! I will need access to your labs to brew a large batch of the recharge potion."

"Flaming arrows won't do much against what went on, but you're right." Ophiuchus admired how fierce Lin was. A real Elven warrior in the making, even if she insisted she preferred healing. "And you know.. you really a mature young woman. Time to let yu use some of the best stuff I have, right?"
"But I have a request - I need to be the one who personally administers the potion to the Headmaster and my friend."

Lin nodded to her professor. "Of course, Professor. Whatever you wish. You can hand the potions out to them and I can hand the rest out to everyone else. You'll take yours first, of course, and then you can pass out the potions to your two friends. You'll just need to tell me how to find everyone else to give them the recharge potions."
She started walking, hoping that urged the professor to show her where his labs were. Also, she didn't want him to see her slight blush. His compliments humbled her and made her blush slightly.

Ophiuchus nodded. "Good! Well then, pardon me, but my personal lab isn't anywhere near the clinic." With her back to him, he didn't know she was blushing, although he could sense a slight rise in her body temperature.
"I apologize, this must be rude to an elf - " he took Lin's hand, and they instantly disappeared from MFHS, to Ophiuchus's lab - which wasn't part of the school, but actually located in a 'pocket' dimension. "That's really the only way to get here though."
The dimension was small, and resembled the inside of a tall tent. The walls were lined with shelves of ingredients, all more potent and powerful and exotic then anything he would leave in the locked closet of the school clinic. Incense was lit, and the whole place screamed 'Healers Paradise'. And the only things modern in the whole place were some manufactured glass jars - Ophiuchus still used an ancient scale that probably dated back to the fall of Rome.
"Go to town, Lin. This will be a grade."

Lin didn't mind her professor holding her hand to teleport them. It was perfectly polite and fine. The dimension, though, was another story. At first she had been scared because she could feel she was in someplace very different and very secluded. She didn't fear being alone with her professor, of course. Far from it. She just hated being somewhere that she didn't know the exact location of it or know any specifics about it. She liked to know things.
But then, she could feel the strong presence of white magic all around her and she felt much more relaxed. She actually felt very happy and excited. And then, the best thing of all was revealed to her. A potions lab.... a potions lab that would make the potion masters back home weep with joy. It was incredible and Lin's face flushed again and she didn't even notice. It flushed with pure excitement and her eyes were glowing brightly.
"Oh my.... Professor.... thank you, thank you for showing this to me, for trusting me! Oh my word! You have herbs from my home area and from areas I have only read about!"
She practically ran over to the shelves and gently ran her fingers over many different potion bottles as she looked at the ingredients.
