Violet shifted a little about to attack the creature, but when no one else seemed to be moving she decided to just stand there and wait. She then decided to listen to what Tassen had to say. 'So kinda like a fake war? Wouldn't it take up too much of our time though to attack one another instead of the real enemy?' Her mind had switched to it's old assassin mode, where everything she did revolved around killing someone. 'It would be so much easier to just kill them and get it over with..' Her face showed a noticeable frown and then it left. Her eyes darted to the undead figure as it fell through Ashe and dissolved into the air turning into nothing. 'Guess it was a fake...'

Zig raised a surprised eyebrow at the undead creature, but did nothing. If it became a problem she could always take care of it with her necromancy. Tassen distracted her from this train of thought with his idea. It seemed liked a viable one even if it would be a bit exhausting. "How do we even know that the people behind this will come out into the open?" she asked as the zombie dissolved into smoke.

Ashe could not hide the surprise she felt at the creature vanishing into smoke before her eyes, nor could she hide her shock when outside it appeared as if her city were in flames! Her arms tensed as she used all her strength to not throw herself out of her seat. Do the others see it?! And though the flames grew higher, she could not hear any screams when she knew that some still inhabited the area. Not, it's just another illusion... She took in a deep breath and released it slowly as to help calm down her racing heart.

"Your plan seems as if it would work, but Zig is right, we're not sure if the real culprits would come out...and fighting one another appears to be more work that it's worth. However, if we could get the creator of these illusions, any mesmer's, and any necromancers together on a battle field it could work. We could stage multiple battles that would make our countries appear weak and vulenrable. Whether or not the culprits show themselves, Colm probably will not be able to resist trying to invade our homes, where are real forces will be waiting."

Moriarty winced when she mentioned the illusions. 'Made it pretty obvious, didn't I?' He thought as he completed his ascent. Perched like an owl atop a pillar, he dispelled the illusions before they gave him away. He watched the group, slightly more serene this time, and crossed his fingers as he hoped that either they would not spot him, or that the dragon would not give him away.

"Well, I think that faking the battles might be easier than you would think. We do have someone of the air nation that can project illusions, similar to the ones we just saw. Then we might be able to even stage a few deaths, possibly of some of our more powerful members or high ranking officials. This would really give an appearance of us being weakened." Tassen had a funny thought and couldn't help but smile.
"Well, imagine their faces when the dead seem to be fighting them later on." A couple of chuckles seemed to escape him. It was a rather silly and humorous idea. However, it would be an effective strategy. "Even if the people responsible for the recent chaos do not show, I'm sure someone would want to take advantage of our weakened state."

Kel flew high over the castle looking down toward the ground. It seemed he hadn't been inspecting for anything in particular. He landed on a high section of the remaining castle and looked around for a moment. Nothing has really changed up here...

Violet heard what the others had to say and sighed. 'It could work, or Colm might see right through the illusions as we just did, and he's been around forever.' She looked out over the city and its serenity. 'It won't be like this for much longer...' She then cleared her throat and began to speak. "So basically, we round up all the mesmers and necromancers from both air and fire, then get them to stage a bunch of fake battles while we are actually preparing for an even bigger attack?" She paused to look around at the group and then continued on. "It sounds good, but what do we do if the vampyre sees through it? Do we have a Plan B?"

"Vampire? You speak of undeath?" A bit more rage touched Tassen's voice than he intended, "I will destroy any undead creature, vampire or not. I don't even wish to have necromancers with this plan, but I feel that it would only serve the greater good of the nation as a whole."

Tassen then realized how hard he was sounding. "I must apologise. My family have been fighting undead creatures for as long as we can remember. Call it a... natural hatred of their... unlife. So, who is this vampire you speak of that might see through these stage attacks and illusions?"

"Why, King Colm actually." Ashe said tiredly. "He's from your era actually, the original war. And I would have to agree with the Princess, as wonderful as the plan sounds, it does seem like many would be able to see through it, are there any other suggestions?"

Lilith sighed still pacing. 'I need something to do, somewhere to go...' She looked at the castle not knowing if anyone was in there or not. She hadn't seen anyone, but she hadn't been very observant either. 'Maybe I should go wander around in there...' She smiled a very devilish grin and began to wander her way innocently towards the giant structure. As she went through the doorway, she could feel the others presences through the earth. So people where here.

Kel looked over the side of the remnants of the central structure. He noticed one of the displaced bricks had a carving on it. He dropped off of the wall he was on, landing near the brick and inspecting it. Yep, that's Seth's handwriting alright. I wonder why she was here? It all sounds like mundane conversation between... Upon reading most of the local energy something clicked in his head. I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! Wait... He turned back toward the castle and scratched his head. "Hmm... What's this all about staged battles?"

Zig had nothing to contribute to the conversation at this point. Strategy was not one of her fortes as she was not a nobleman. In fact strategy hadn't been a part of her life until the recent war dragged her into politics. The girl's utter exhaustion also contributed to her silence, though she definitely wanted to be around to hear what was said. She simply shrugged in answer to Ashe's inquiry about other ideas for she had none right now.

"Well, the other idea I have is to show them what they didn't want to see, a united front of Air and Fire. This would be a bold move, as it would tell them all we are doing, with no subtlety." Tassen nodded to himself, like he was agreeing with himself on some point. "Then again we would be able to fully plan a power front together. This would mean that each side would have to put aside past hurts from the other. Unconditional partnership, if not a merging of nations." To himself, he thought , but under the rule of the Queen, a united and powerful front should be attainable. Each side has disavowed King Colm. A single ruler would be the perfect counter. Might even cause some of Colm's Followers to gravitate to our side of the war... might as well call it what it is now. Another Civil War.

Ashe nodded her head in appreciation of the only other idea she recieved. She rose and faced them all. "Those are our two options. I myself am going to retire and freshen up for dinner, you are all welcome to join me. You are also each welcome to spend the night here, I shall see you each soon." She didn't give them time to reject her offer or discuss anything else as she hurriedly left to go to her room in one of the higher towers where she would change before eating.

Violet looked at the other faces around her. 'It seems like no one here is really convinced that the plan will work, other than Tassen. I'm not even sure if we can beat Colm. He seems to have too much power, and fire succeeding from the union isn't going to take fire away from him. So... 3 elements to 2, very fair indeed.' She rolled her eyes keeping the sarcastic comment to herself and began to walk back into the castle to get ready for dinner.
