spaceJasmine's first attempt was a failure; she'd miscalculated the bludger's angle, and instead of hitting it, the ball slammed into her shoulder. She let out a rather loud bark, disoriented from the pain. Apparently, it wasn't her day; the distraction made it easy for the Slytherin beater to hit her as well, this ball hitting her in her ribs. This time, she only winced, already in enough pain that the addition didn't much bother her. Augh, hospital wing after the game it was, she thought in annoyance. Oh, well. It wasn't like she hadn't done it before. Shaking her head to regain her focus, she took off after a bludger, hoping to hit Slytherin's seeker.

As he lugged his borrowed school broom in one hand, he settled patiently on the Ravenclaw side of the field waiting for the rest of his teammates to show up. In the meantime, he stretched. Kazu bit his lip as he walked onto the pitch, realizing he was the first one there. Well, first for his team, anyway. He waved at Gavin who he recognized from lessons and started stretching, thinking he had better do better this game. He didn't last game, and that was mostly because he didn't see how he could get into the action. Everyone had been much older, and had been fighting over the quaffle. This game, however, there were two players on Ravenclaw in his year so it was practically a given that he had a chance to do better. "Hey Gavin, I hope you do well this game." He hoped the same of himself, but that went without saying.
