"I'll get it out of you eventually." Broken purred. She lid down and tried to calm herself down so she could say the story without going on a bird killing spree. "Me my mom and dad were all minding our own business when a hawk came along and thought 'Hey, these three would make a nice meal'. So it swooped down and snatched up my mom. My dad attacked the bird only to get captured by yet another one of the same hunting party. Well it just so happens they had a kit named Broken who looked mighty tasty." Broken said happily despite the story itself "Well they killed mama and dropped her out of the air like a piece of fresh kill-which she was- and went after me. Lucky dad was still somewhat alive and bit the bird's foot and it dropped me. They killed him too." Broken stood up again and turned around to go back into the cave "The last time I ever saw them was being carried away by the birds as I dropped to the ground. After that Link found me and nursed me back to full help and still kept me around after that. Then I came here." she said quietly and seriously before padding back into the den

He got up and padded over to Broken, his fur rubbed up against hers. He gave her a comforting lick on the head. "Your not alone, Broken... your Lucky... not Broken." He said comfortingly. "Lucky? I watched every member of my family be plucked from me at the same time then was raised as a fox -which is why I don't like cats to much. I didn't even know I was a cat until Bluepaw told me." she muttered to herself "I guess I am lucky though, I lived that day...and when I came here of all the creatures I could have met and probably ended up despising I met you, and that alone makes me extremely lucky"

Broken hissed at Slasher "Don't get to full of yourself, the only reason I said that was because I thought I was dead!" Broken padded back outside of the cave and laid down in the cool snow. The blood from her wounds tinted it red slightly but it didn't matter, the snow was so cold it relaxed her and helped wash away all bad memories

Broken snickered at Slasher's comment "I'll admit that I like you the day birds become decent creatures." that day would never come, or at least to Broken. Birds were the most foul (no pun intended) creatures ever to be brought into existence. That didn't mean Broken didn't like Slasher though, she just wouldn't admit it.

[Galestar tilted his head at Fester, chuckling.]
"Well," he said in birdspeak, "I given for plenty chances talking with your friends, Want to know if you, ask me is good. I will hint give, but not tell. Is for you to find out."
[Galestar's brain fuzzed over from the cold and he shivered a bit, burrowing deeper into the nest for warmth. His icey eyes switched over to rock, twitching his ears.]
"Not sure," he said thoughtfully. "Maybe close to where you were hatched. I ask Serpentfang next time. Maybe she remember your kind."
[He watched Harpy leave and rolled his eyes.]
Leaning over in Fester's direction, he muttered, "Eh, who stuck thorn in her side? Haha! She's more sour than crowfood by twolegplaces. One would think a bird could lighten up!"
[He chuckled at his joke and leaned back onto his haunches, purring contentedly. His eyes were half-closed in merriment, and his whiskers twitched from time to time.]

[Fester smiled, trying not to laugh at Galestar's comment and stay collected as Harpy left the cave in an angry huff. Roc nodded to Galestar's response.] "Itervesting. Zis Sarpentfhang of yourz, if ve vernt in a time like ziz ze Roc would have liked to meet dem." [Roc turned his head to look out of the cave and into the gloomy atmosphere. He narrowed his sharp golden eyes as Harpy returned with Talon. The cold hearted leader walked in with pride and an air of power as he entered the dark cave. He nodded to Roc and seemingly glared at Fester, a look of distant dwelling in them. Fester looked back with a hint of nervousness, sensing his ill intentions but nodded in welcome. Harpy followed in after him, her eyes focused on Gaestar.] "Talon, this is Galestar, the mission was almost jeopardized by Sirin but Raven and I were able to handle the enemy. The mission was a complete success." [Talon turned his harsh glare from Fester to Harpy, narrowing his eyes at the mention of Sirin. He then turned and looked down at Gaestar, a sinister grin on his beak.] "Well, im glad it all turned out. Although i find it odd that Sirin and Arrow would have had trouble. I will as the Raven and her shadows for a report." [Harpy's face remained cold but her feet shifted nervously.] "There will be no need for that Talon. I have already retrieved the report. It is as i told you." [Her eyes discreetly looked over at Fester, forcing him into silence.]

"That's what I don't get" Broken snickered. "You call me baby on a regular basis yet you jump on me when I called you dreamy once because I was dead." Broken stood up and stretched, starting to welcome the feeling of blood being clumped onto her side with cobwebs instead of splatting on the snow "I'll be inside"

"Did you tell him you break my back?" he asked curtly. "Careless actions are dangerous. I was leader not, you be in big trouble!"
[He sat up and looked at the birds, tail twitching.]
"You birds sure are boring," he stated, glaring at them as if it was their fault nothing exciting was happening. _____________________________...and melt in the w i n d ?

[Talon's expression sharpened with surprise to hear the news of the incident. He turned suddenly, glaring at Harpy.] "You never told me this! You could have killed him! I said I needed him ALIVE!" [Harpy flinched, distressed and angry at Galestar.] Stupid cat cant keep his trap shut!! Im going to make you suffer cat!! "No Talon, wait! If i broke his back he would be dead! He is lieing, its a trick!" [She pleaded, attempting to regain herself. Both Fester and Roc stood silent, watching her. They new the truth as well as Galestar. Talon scowled and looked over at Galestar, inspecting him. He wasn't moving around like a cat who had snapped his spine, making Harpy's alibi secure. However he would not be made a fool.] "Reasonable enough.... Roc, what do you have to report. You were here guarding Fester correct? What did you see?"
[Harpy gasped, Fester was easy enough to force into silence due to his current, life threatening position, but Roc was a completely different story!] "Yez, ze Roc watched ze gud doktor just as yu orderd! Mozed ze time he watched over hiz injiered. Harpy onwnly vizeteed wonce." [Harpy's eyes widened with nervousness. She had to do something.] "Yes, i did visit. I thought since Roc was the body guard he could watch over Galestar as well." [She blurted out before Roc could finish. Roc turned and glared harshly at the deputy.]
"U DO NOT INTERUPZ ZE ROC!" [Harpy hissed with distaint and ruffled her feathers. Talon glanced over suspiciously. His harsh glare settling on Fester, who remained silent.] "Well then. What did you see Fester? If Avalon's pet really was dead when he arrived who else would know better then the good doctor?" [His eyes were sharp and murderous as he stared thought the meek bird. Fester looked up from his solitude, not knowing what to do. Harpy had promised him his life, and Talon planed to take it away, if he spoke up, would he lose his chance of freedom?]
"Yes, Galestar was dead."
[A voice spoke out. Talon, Fester and Harpy all turned around to see Sirin and Raven standing next to Roc at the entrance. Raven remained silent, her black feathers blending in with the darkness and her red eyes blaring out. Sirin's golden feathers shone as the light reflected off her back.] "Raven and her shadows where there, you can ask her. I two was there. The only way he could be alive is if Fester healed him with the few crucial moments he had left." [She said calm and collected. Harpy glared at the she eagle with hate, an murderous look on her face, but Sirin continued to stand tall. Talon's cold eyes focused on the beautiful golden she eagle, intently listening to what she had to say.]

F o r what is it to die, but to stand in the sun..._____________________________[Galestar watched the scene silently, his sharp eyes glancing around and narrowing as he worked out the situation. His tail twitched, and he snorted.]
"An' here I thought birds you knew all about Clan cats," he snorted. "You fail to learn most important reasoning I see."
[Galestar stood, a small figure amongst the birds, but he stood with a tall pride and courage that filled up his aura.]
"Listen up," he snapped. "I can sense what every each one of you is feeling. It's about time figured it out you. You are all falling apart, and is no wonder why. You babble of the good of flock, but only care about saving own hides. Is disgraceful."
[He glared at all of them, his eyes narrowed.]
"And I am leaving."
[The strange words struck a chord with the birds. They looked at him as if he were crazy, but he puffed his chest out. He padded past them, peering over the edge of the canyon. With one final look at them, he grinned.
And then jumped off the ledge.
It's about time I learned to fly! No better time than now, he thought cheerfully as he plummetted.
(( Oh dear lord Galestar, now is not the time to return to your delusions of flying. O__O
If they try to catch him his spine will break again, so I'm guessing they need to lessen the fall somehow. D: )) _____________________________...and melt in the w i n d ?
