She glanced over at Kumizu and then looked away.She felt like such an idiot over the whole inccident back at the courtyard. Eri wandered over to a woman who was selling jewelry and admired a pair of earrings. They were silver with small red stones hanging down on little chains. She wanted them badly but remembered that she didn't have much of what people around here called "money".She heard Eden say something to her about putting something on. Eri looked at the earrings one last time before making her way over to Eden, who had found what appeared to be tribal paint.

Hikaru blinked as the man handed Kylie the card and walked away, glancing between him and her friends a few times before snapping back to attention. "Yeah..." she said in response to Kylie's remark. "I'm not really sure what all that was either." Deciding to forget it about it for the time being, she turned back to Rayna. "Anyway... like I was saying, I think we've got everything. We have decorations, candy, and presents, and I'm sure the dining hall on campus can whip up a cake. They have to do student birthdays all the time, after all."

"Keilantra! Come here for a second, ok?" called Eden, just loud enough to get their attention. She looked over again at the row of lipstick she had found. If this went right... then going into... that store, wasn't the worst of Kumizu's worries...

"Anyway, Eri, I found some eyeshadow that would look beautiful on you! Come here and try the sample, ok?" said Eden cheerfully.

Eden snickered. "Okay, Eri, what we're going to be doing can never, never be told to Kumizu, ok? We need to keep this a secret!" She turned to Keilantra. "What if... when we take Kumizu to... that store... we put... this on him!" she brandished a tube of pink lipstick and started giggleing.

Eri looked at the thing Eden had called eyeshadow.It looked like colored dust. Rather than make herself seem anymore different than she already was, she complied with Eden's request. Unfortunetly she had no idea what eyeshadow was for. "Ummmm....Eden could you put it on for me? So I don't uhhhh....mess up." Eri grinned sweetly and hoped Eden wouldn't ask any questions. She hated the thought of her new friends knowing that she was a foreigner.Then Eden held up another unusual object. She called it lipstick but Eri didn't think it would make anyone's lips stick together.She noticed that Eden seemed excited by the thought of putting it on Kumizu.'These girls are very odd.....I kind of pitty Kumizu once their plan takes way.'

Hikaru smiled at Kylie, patting her on the shoulder. "Yeah, don't worry about it! I'm sure everything will work out fine!" Picking up a bag with her free hand, and carrying the soccer ball under the other arm, she walked with Rayna and Kylie out of the mall, headed back to campus.

He'd been sitting in a chair looking at the computer, and when he was finished, put it back on its shelf. The worker who was helping him had an overly cheerful smile on her face. "It's a fine laptop, isn't it. Are you sure you don't want to buy it, sir?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. I may come back later." He grabbed his cane and started to get up when the worker grabbed his arm and started to pull. He shook her off. "What the hell is your problem?"

"Well sir, I just noticed that you walk with the cane, so I wanted to make sure you could stand okay."

"So if I didn't have the cane, you wouldn't still be standing with me?" The worker said nothing. "Right... have a good day." He walked over to the girls, aware that the worker was still staring at his cane. "Are we ready to go yet?"
