Oh s**t, Pokemon Snap would be pretty awesome on that. Although the whole new console isn't needed when all the emphasis is on the controller. :/

Zephyrkitty Cabron LaSwan Zephyrkitty While I liked the ideas in the E3 video, I'm not liking the idea in the Zelda picture where the action is on one screen and your inventory on the other. It works for the DS because the screens are right next to each other, but here you'll have to keep looking back and forth whenever you want to switch weapons or something. It'd work with a turn-based game like Pokémon, but not so much with a real-time battle system like Zelda has. I want to see a new Pokémon Snap on the WiiU, though. You could use the controller as the camera! biggrin How often do you need to switch items in combat, though, barring boss fights or cheap lulz? I could see it being really convenient once you got used to it (and making dungeon-diving much more continuous than always pausing to change items did).
Then again, I'm the kind of person who plays the s**t out of a game and would probably commit most of the important items' positions to memory, so that might factor in. xd
Also, I want to see a new Pokemon Snap period. Boss fights are the main reason I don't like the idea. So long as the sword is perma-equipped (which every console Zelda has done), you can clear the room of enemies and then deal with any inventory-switching puzzles. In boss battles, that second or two where you can switch items is generally the second or two where the boss is powering up their super-powerful attack. gonk I would buy the WiiU for a Pokémon Snap sequel. That's true. Maybe they'll have a set of hotkeys or a quick-switch function as well as the inventory on the controller? I thought the way TP did it was pretty convenient.

Sadness at the fact that there's STILL no new info about Pikmin 3.
But new Smash Bros. being announced more than made up for it.
Plus I saw about 6 different games that I must have.

Seeing Skyrim has me worried that my Laptop won't be able to play it, though. But that beauty in VANILLA Skyrim has me not mind. (360 cool.)
