I was sick for most of Monday, so didn't go to school for most of the day (I was there 'til first recess then I left), and on Tuesday, I wore a black boys t-shirt, a grey windbreaker, blue sneakers (unfourtanetly too light), worn out faded blue jeans, tucked my hair up into a baseballcap, pulled the visor bit over my face, and went to school early. AS I'm walking I see one of my friends up ahead. Normally if she saw me going to school she'd wait for me. Later that day she said her reaction when she saw me there was "Oh, probably a new kid." as I'm walking, I come up behind my friend Julie (by now I'm in the school parking lot), she was looking back to me wondering, "Is that a new boy in school?" key word there: boy. I look up, and see her eyes go wide as she realised it was me. She's like "Holy s**t! Caitlin is that you?!" I just nod and she's all, "Did you cut your hair?", I shook my head and took the baseball cap off. I then saw Blythe, the other friend I wanted to fool, besides the one I saw walking to school who thought I was a new kid, and quickly put the hat back on. As Julie and I walked I explained that I was trying to fool them, so all was good. By then the two friends I had wanted to fool were both standing by the stairs that led up to our class' half of the school. Going over, I sat on the stairs, so that they were behind me, I hear them talk abit about me-as in actually using the name Caitlin-so I had to stop myself from laughing. After abit I hear Blythe say "I'm going to go say hi to the new kid." and she begins to walk in my direction. She recognized the shoes, and yelled, "It's Caitlin!!" all freaked out. I stood up laughing, and pulled the baseball cap off.
