Tassen walked the courtyard for a few moments till he found a spot that he had enough room to transform into his Dragon self. He didn't wish to change in a cramped room, for then he might knock some things over, if not accidentally hurt someone. Once in his dragon form, he turned his head towards where the capital of the Air domain was. His eyes seemed to loose focus and he seemed to stare through anything in his way as his mind traveled the massive distance.
Within moments, he seemed to snap out of his revere. He then turned his head again, projecting his thoughts once more, but to someone different. Within Moriarty mind, a voice spoke, "Why do you follow us? I recognize you from the Capital of the Air Domain. I have not talked to you sense, as I figured your mission was to keep an eye on us. My companion did not notice you, and I did not see need to worry her. I however did, and wish to ask why Illusion thinks we need a chaperon." Tassen stood where he was, seeming intent on looking at a nearby wall. He had informed their tail what he wanted to let him or her know. Now he waited a response, either by word of mouth, attack, or a directed thought. It might be hard for this person to direct their thoughts in a way Tassen could hear, but not impossible. If they knew anything of the mind, they could possibly do it. After all, a friend a long time ago use to be able to do it.

Coraline smiled, it seemed that Violet understood. "Yes." Concern shown on her face while Violet seemed to be making her voice higher and higher without noticing. She bit down her lip, what was she supposed to do? Maybe she shouldn't have told her. Then, while she was thinking, out of nowhere Violet grabbed Coraline's arm and was dragging her. "Hey!" She yelled with much annoyance, probably more than she even ment to have. "But do I really need to be dragged?" Coraline shook Violet off and started walking behind her. "I can walk on my own thank you." Coraline stomped off then starting thinking about the words that she said, how would they affect Violet? She looked back at her face, thinking that her words may have offended her, hoping not. "You know what, never mind. I don't care." she sagged back to where Violet was and started walking next to her. "I'm sorry."

Moriarty's expression narrowed, and then a wicked grin spread across. He softly whispered his reply, but the sound did not travel far enough to reach the dragon. Instead, he used his influence on the mind to make sure it was heard. 'Illusion knows she is the one person I would never betray, but my brother she doesn't trust so well. I have... special uses. I look forward to learning what goes on inside that mind of yours, dragon.'
He knew this would be a challenge indeed. He always hated dealing with the mind readers, because they always seemed aware of what was real and what was illusion. Plus, he also understood that it took a relatively strong mind to send out mental messages. Perhaps the dragon may also have a mind strong enough to create illusions, but that he could not be sure of. In spite of the challenges and uncertainties of trying to invade the conscious of a race with minds he had never studied before, he knew now that there were two targets in his scope. A vampire and a dragon.

Violet looked a bit startled when Coraline shook her grip on her arm and yelled at her. She was even more startled when she came back and apologized. She slowed her pace down realizing they were right outside the doors to the throne room coming to a complete stop. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have dragged you." She gave a slight smile. "I guess this is where our 'sisterly love' begins." She then listened into the room to see if anyone was inside. From what she could hear, it seemed the queen was talking to someone else. "To barge in, or not to barge in." She then threw open the doors and walked in to see Zig and Queen Ashe talking to each other. 'So that's who it was.' Not feeling like interrupting the conversation they were having she moved off to the side of the room to wait for them to be finished.

"I can certainly try milady," Zig replied to the Queen. "Although I'm not certain I'm the most knowledgeable about what's happened." Suddenly, Violet entered the room and Zig stopped speaking. She wondered whether she should give Ashe a summary or if it would be better for Violet to state her business. "Would you like me to give you a summary first or would you prefer to speak with Princess Violet?" Zig asked the Queen as she fidgeted slightly. The girl shifted her weight from foot to foot while anticipating an answer.

"So you possess a mind capable of projecting thought back. Not all humans can. I once had a friend, a long time ago, who learned how to do the trick, though he admittedly wasn't very good at it." Tassen's 'voice' in Moriarty's mind was tinged with humor, and a sadness of longing and morning a past friend. "I can assure you, I would never betray my word. I have promised to help Lady Illusion, and I will do so as best as I see I can." Tassen then turned for the entrance back into the castle, feeling he was needed near Queen Ashe. He and the Queen needed to be appraised of current events. He awaited any more communications from the mysterious tail, though it would be up to him to respond or not.
(To let you know, although your character can think what he will, Tassen does not read minds. He sensed you out by his draconic senses, which can detect things nearby with a sharper clarity. Consider it like a true sight or something. He can sense vibrations and disturbances within the air to find you, and he developed the thought talking as a way to communicate while in dragon form. You know, those scaly lips don't work well when pronouncing human words. mrgreen )

Moriarty muffled a laugh that would have escaped him, but remained silent to keep hidden. 'Humans are funny things. They have surprisingly expansive minds, but know not how to make use of it.' He sighed, and then decided to stop thinking about that. 'It's nice to know you do not betray your word, but don't bother asking for my word.' He looked around, and saw somebody new sliding into the room, and shook his head. So bored. He thought. Damn brother, why are you always content to sit and do nothing? He sighed, and then whispered one last thing to the dragon. 'I suppose every cat who wants to hunt must learn patience.'
(Yea, but Moriarty doesn't know any better. What I say is from Moriarty's point of view, and he has never met a dragon before. He only assumes they are somehow psychic for now.)

"I'll try not to be too much of a pain." Coraline smiled at her sister, Violet. While Violet seemed to be pondering whether or not she would barge in or not, Coraline decided to take the time to start to think about the time they have spent together in the last 10 minutes. It wasn't much, but it certainly was a start. She sighed in happiness, all is well. Then, Violet opened the door. She blinked her eyes in shock. Then, quickly recovered herself. Coraline followed closely behind Violet and stared down the Queen and Zig. I wonder what kind of people they are? she thought, thinking of things that may be able to pass the time. Ooh, I bet that the Queen is this person who seems all cruel on the outside but is really nice and loveable in the inside!! Her face showed her smiling off into space, looking quite idiotic for the time being, then quickly dismissed the foolish thoughts. Stop being such an idiot. Coraline looked back at Violet, then at the floor.

Ashe stiffened at the new appearances. I am growing quiet tired of the unexpected right around now... But nonetheless she looked from Zig to the Princess of Fire and nodded her head at the newcomers. "I would like it very much so if you began the tale Zig, and if Violet has any corrections to make, she may make them." She began walking outside towards the gardens where she could see her city, half in ruin. She expected them to follow, to not would be more than an insult on their part.
The sky was a dark blue by this time and for a change the sky wasn't full of smoke from some other new catastrophy. She moved towards a pavillion that now was covered in the softest pillows. She took her seat towards the back and picked up a goblet full of red wine and lifted it to her lips. She could only imagine what had happened between air and fire that made her guests very uncomfortable with one another.

Violet turned to give a quick glance at Coraline to make sure she followed, and began to walk after Ashe. As she passed by Zig she gave her a wary look. She still wasn't over the fact that not to long ago, she had been one of the people to attack her land. Standing in the same room made her want to jump out of her skin and shred her to pieces, but she would restrain herself for now, her energy should be used to defeat Colm when the time came. When she reached the outdoors where her Queen stood, she quietly stopped in place and waited for Zig to begin her side of the tale. It would be quite something to hear the Air kingdom's side of the story and maybe it would explain the reasoning behind their attack.

Zig followed Ashe to the gardens with a cautious glance at Violet. Even if their nations were supposed to be friends now, it wouldn't be easy to reconcile their recent differences. Without further ado the girl began her tale intending to tell it in it's entirety. "I was in the water nation trying to negotiate with Princess Xin when she informed me that the air nation was going to attack her nation. Since this basically rendered my negotiations useless because I had no idea what my own nation was doing, I flew back to Palpisol where I was informed that Illusion was planning an attack on the fire nation. She had been told that the fire nation was planning to attack us, so we were going to make the first strike. A group of us flew to the Flaming Mountains and fought with some fire warriors who appeared. We defeated them and claimed the land as our own. Meanwhile Illusion disappeared because of one of the enemy elementalist's flowers while three of us stayed to watch over our new territory. We defended it for a bit before being attacked by someone who was exiled by the water nation. After that encounter we flew back to Palpisol where Illusion had somehow regained her sight. She was very angry at Colm who had evidently tried to keep her out of his way and we were planning out how to take care of Colm, the water nation, and our food shortage when Princess Violet arrived and informed us that you were alive, Queen Ashe. Tassen and I immediately flew here on Illusion's orders and you know what's happened since then." Zig ceased speaking and waited to see if Violet had anything to add. She was also interested in fire's side of the story.

Violet cocked her head, intrigued. 'It seems as if we were played against each other...' She then decided to add her part of the story to Zig's, hoping the information would add up in one way or another. "I guess I'll say my side from where you started. So I had just returned to fire, figuring out there was nothing left for me in the capital city. There I was told Air was attacking fire and that we needed to prepare, so I wrote to Water, hoping we could ally with them. When they responded saying they would form an alliance, we then left for the mountains to try to stop Air." She paused to look at Zig for a moment, but then continued on. "It was strange because during the battle, I saw Colm show up. I tried to tell him we didn't need his help and would have killed him, if it weren't for that dumb earth mercenary that showed up. One minute I was lunging at him, the next, earth was holding me captive and then he took me through the ground and we appeared on a boat. Apparently he was working for water, so the boat I appeared on was going to attack Earth. We arrived and I had nothing to do and began having second thoughts on our alliance, so I left." She frowned remembering how Celestina had never shown up at Air. 'Wonder what happened to her...' She sighed and continued to speak. "So now you pretty much know the rest of what happened." She shrugged. 'Well... except the whole me meeting my long lost sister of course... but I can tell you that story later, You don't need to worry about things like that now.'

Tassen nodded to their unknown tail before he changed back to his human forum. He opened the door just wide enough to permit him in, and then closed the door with a slight thump as it closed. He then saw where everyone else was going, as he watched the backs of one person leave. He decided to follow, for he desperately needed to be updated on current events. Walking over to the door frame of the room everyone else was in, he gave the frame a light rasp, as the door was still open. "Pardon if I am intruding. May I join?" Tassen said as politely as possible.
