so YAY, my depression level is practically almost to happy xd I had a blast today hanging out with some friends of mine. First we talked about different things, went to get a bite to eat at Rhumbi's then hung out at the mall for a few hours, which was awesome, it's still in the same state, but I wished the malls where i live were like that one, it was cool. After that we went swimming, and relaxed in the hot tub, playing truth or dare for like an hour and a half to 2 hours.

My Comp teacher has pancreatic cancer, which sucks a**. Also, it's not fair, 'cause I've already had a teacher with cancer. Ms. Hanes, my 10th grade english teacher, had cancer in her lymph nodes and got all puffy and was replaced with this really annoying guy.
Man, this sucks... I really liked her and now she's probably gonna die (only 5% survive past five years)... lame. sad

Oh, I'm hopeful everywhere else, but I need somewhere to get all my unhopefullness out. I figure this is the best place to do it, seeing as no one IRL ever sees this so it can't really do any harm.

You know, Arrow, if you need a place to be unhopeful, you can always PM me and just, like, rant. And rant, and rant, and rant to your hearts content.

Tut tut. I'd like all ranting to remain in the Cafe, thank you very much. *strikes flauntingly upset pose* It adds to the gloom and misery of a certain corner--well, most of the corners, these days. *sigh* However, you should still feel free to PM if you want--remember, the Cafe is for broad socializing, not for...private discussions....
That's what brothels are for!
Oh...I mean...ah...the red light district.... --- Changing gears, I'm glad you're feeling up, Sha. It's good that your cousin's back from the war, even for a brief time.
Out of curiosity, did anyone click the link...? -Andrew

I'm slowly passing the time until Doctor Who starts up again... only a few more weeks! I can hold on that long... *whimper*
In other news, there's activists all over my campus. Now that the weather's getting nice they've all come crawling out of their hidey-holes with pamphlets galore. Mostly for animals and whatnot... I feel like making my own anti-animal-rights pamphlet, just to piss 'em off--it'll be titled "Beef: It's what's for dinner!" On one side will be a picture of happy, young people staring hungrly at a steak, with the caption, "Why are they so happy? Simple--it's the beef!" Next to that will be a picture of a frowning man with a stick of broccoli in hand, captioned, "This man is sad. He has no beef." Maybe add a few paragraphs about how clean and safe the "factories of awesome" are (explaining that we don't use the word "slaughterhouse"), stick in something about how happy and well-treated the cows are and that's it! Badda-bing badda-boom.

Wouldn't it be better to just ignore them if they bother you that much. Do you really feel the need to do something just to piss people off? That's pretty pathetic.
You might also want to try doing some research. Because not all of those "factories of awesome" treat the animals right. But then, I suppose that all depends on what your definition of "right" or "well-treated" is. And I'm assuming that yours is way different than mine.
