Kai chuckled faintly at Calypso's statement, "We don't huh? ....that's good.. not alota meat on me anyway..." he half smiled, doing his best to keep up with Calypso and managing for now. "..I don't think so...we came across a lot of dragons..that hated people as much.. as some people hate dragons.." He glanced around where they were, which didn't help him at all.."..how far... are the others..?" Kai's voice was getting quieter as what energy he'd gathered was fading and he didn't want to burden the young dragon by passing out again.

Calypso thought on his comment and then heard him ask how far the others were.
A fair ways. I didn't realize how far she'd actually dragged you. But I have an idea.
He said as he noted Kai's fatigue. Using his sharp senses, he made sure Nari was still out of ear and eyesight before he transformed. He picked up Kai gently and placed him on his back. He was about the size of a large horse so Kai could have easily held on.
Just hang onto that spike in front of you and you should be good.
He told the human before he began to run at an easy pace so as not to lose his rider, but he kept his senses alert for Nari as well. He hated to leave her like this, but he would just have to talk to her sometime else.

Achiu found a small stash of dried food in one of the corners of the hut. He sniffed at it cautiously, not exactly sure what it was. Completing his examination, he took a strip of meat and a small sprig of herb. Crushing the plant on top of the meat, he took a bite. 'Hmmm, better that the slop they fed me at the lab, that's for sure. Still....'
He took another bite, then heard voices outside. He thought he recognized them both, so he stepped to the door. He was surprised to find Ci'nala walking with Yamamoto. "Ci'nala?! What are you doing here?"

Kai did as the young dragon said and held onto the spike, now focusing on keeping himself awake instead of trying to walk. "..sorry 'bout this... how's your leg?" he asked, not wanting to make Calypso's wounds any worse by riding the blue dragon. Kai was feeling the tranquilizer start to win against his will again, but he kept himself seated...even with the trees blending into a mass of green and brown with Calypso's scales being the only odd brighter color in the dizzy mixture.

Achiu smiled at Ci'nala. "Well, that's sweet of you. I just came up here to get water from the river for Lura, but I ran into Yamamoto-sensei.... and wound up here."
He glanced over at the elder. "That is the correct term, isn't it?"

"Ahh, well actually no, you see that is Japanese, and I am Chinese you see. Sensei loo sly translated means teacher. It actually means "One who has gone before." So I suppose if you wanted to call me your teacher, you could call me your "Sifu". But that is not correct either, because I am not your teacher. Just to make it simple, and because no one has ever added a suffix to my name, you can just call me Yamamoto. I find it more appropriate. Judging from the position of the sky, it has been just under a hour. As I promised I will help. Lead the way now Achiu, and I will follow." Yamamoto said looking at his hut, in the last hour since waking up the life that he had been accustomed to had flipped around. He tried to keep the thought out of his mind that this might be the final time he ever laid eyes upon his old hand made hut.

Myia looked at Max. "It feels like you are holding a ball of energy..." She looked at the soul. "What a horrible color for a soul." She soul was dark and looked like smog. She took a deep breath. "Are you okay?" She asked when he feel onto the ground. She listened to him then said. "Well then, after this we should rest." She smiled. "Okay." She looked at the soul again and ate it. A displeased look came across her face. "This soul taste terrible." She stuck out her tongue. "Ew..." She took a piece of candy out and ate it. 'The taste won't go away.' She thought as she sucked on the candy.

Achiu listened intently. "I see. Well, thank you for the culture/language lesson." He looked toward the sky, then walked out far enough away from the hut so as not to destroy it then transformed.
As soon as the other two had changed as well, he took wing carefully and headed back over the trees. He took a turn over the clearing where he had last seen Max and Myia. Everything seemed to be under control, so he dipped low enough to make his voice heard. "I'll be back shortly, or you can come." He hoped it made sense, but he didn't have time for much more.
Landing just outside the patch of trees that Lura, Samantha and Yuran were in, he walked the rest of the way. "I've got water. Sorry it took so long, but I ran into another dragon on the mountain." He looked over his shoulder to see if Ci'nala and Yamamoto were following.

She turned and looked at Lura. "But he will be very mad!" She stopped and looked around worried. "He is scary when he is mad!" Samatha started to think. "Um his name is..." Then a loud roar could be heard in the distance. She perked up and started to bounce up and down. "Daddy! Daddy!" She grinned wildly and started to yell. "Daddy over here! Over here daddy!" She turned and looked at the others. The she looked at her stuffed rabbit. "Rabbie! Daddy must have found mommy! I can't wait! To see them both!" She looked to the sky. "Mommy! Daddy! I'm over here!"
John let out another roar when he picked up the sound of his daughters voice. 'I'm coming Samatha.' He headed straight for her. 'How am I going to tell her Rinne isn't with me much less alive?' He pondered that as her made is way to Samatha.

Finishing his sixth chocolate bar, Korin looked at Ecplise. "Oh by the gods, please do not tell me you are one of those stupid dragon sympathizers. Those people are a freaking cult." 'Please do not kill the dragons! Do you not know they are sentient beings with thoughts and feelings?' He said in a falsetto voice. "The thing is, sentient or not, they are still monsters, set upon this Earth for the strongest of men to challenge. Anyone who says different is either an ignoramus or worse yet, a dragon themselves." Rummaging through his pack, Korin pulls out a sucker, offers up more candy to the strange person, climbs a tree and hangs upside-down from a branch.

Lura looked up at Samantha's parents... or.. parent. She sniffed the air and noticed it was just her father. What had happened to her mother then? Lura felt a wave of unease wash over her and she looked down at the little dragon in sorrow, wondering if her mother was alright. She let her go so she could greet her father.
Calypso shook his head.
This is no trouble at all, and you're light enough that it's not bothering my leg though I'll need to take it easy after. How are you holding up?
He asked as he felt him sway a little and he slowed his pace somewhat.

Samatha looked up at Lura smiling. "Their home! Their home!" She waited impatiently for her parents only to see her father land. "Where is mommy?" She walked up to him. "Where is mommy?" She looked at her fathers face and dropped her rabbit. "Mommy! Mommy! Stop hiding! Come out! Mommy!" She started to cry as she looked around from the spot she stood at.
John landed on the ground in front of Samatha. He took to his human form and a pained face showed. He looked at his daughter as she called out for Rinne as if she was hiding. John walked over to her. "She is not coming." He bent down with his knees and hugged her. "She... she is dead."

Achiu Looked up to the sky when Samantha started calling for her parents, but only saw a male. When her father landed and told her that her mother was dead, Achiu felt a sharp stab go through his heart. He didn't know this male or his fallen mate, and he barely knew Samantha, but he knew well the pain of separation from one's love. He could scarcely comprehend the heartache of losing said love to death.
He closed his eyes and bowed his head, a large tear rolling down his face. Shaking his head, he looked up at the father and child. "I'm so sorry for your loss." He knew it was painfully cliche, but there was little else he could thing to say.

Lura too felt her heart grow heavy. She remembered the pain she felt when her father rejected her and practically forbid her from seeing her mother. She looked at Samantha's father.
Earth lord... What happened that caused your mate to pass?
She said in a formal way, showing that she did not mean disrespect. She only wished to empathize.
