History: Ci'nala was in the last clutch laid by her mother before she died. She is the last of the ancient Ocean Dragons, but is hoping that somewhere she can release her anger and learn to trust people again.

History: He met Ci'nala a few years back; he doesn't remember much before that day. As he was flying to find food for his girlfriend, he was captured by the humans, but he escaped. He's stayed hidden for Ci'nala's safety, but is trying to come back to her.

History: Eclipse had known the small amount of humans that managed to make their way to the high places he liked, some hostile, but others friendly enough for him not to distrust all humans. Every now and then he'd accompany a friendly human for some time to observe more people.
For now he's decided to travel with a human called Kai that he rescued not long ago.

Personality: Proud, domineering, and at times ruthless. Sa-ar can even be considered savage, which his disdain for sophisticated nuance and technological device. Years of slumber has weakened him considerably, worsned his temper, and left him outdated and confused.

History: Sa-ar was hatched in around Mesopotamia, but was deemed unworthy by his father, Sirrush, and was exiled. Sa-ar traveled far across the oceans and settled in the new world, living out years of isolation. Then when bringing in a storm front on a hot summer to end a drought, some natives witnessed him, and he became a God of sorts. Most of his powers were exaggerated, and even the few times he exposed his pale human form, he was given worship. Eventually foreign invaders began to arrive, and thought they were a mere trifle to fight off, he did not anticipate his own people being turned against him amidst the turmoi. Shamans invoked a banishment spell which put him in a deep slumber deep beneath the Earth. When present day arrived, the spell had worn off and he awoke with a fury, laying waste to the cities built atop him. Angry at the dramatic change in landscape and the arrogance of the humans, who refused to submit to his rule, he flew off across the ocean in search of answers... whereupon he discovered the island which acted as a Dragon Sanctuary.

Name: Salkuriatha AKA Subira Brown

Personality: Salkuriatha is patient and analytical. She often can be described as disdainful and proud at times, but it belies shaken faith and a deep layer of confusion she lives with. She is often a seeker of retribution, and enjoys poetic or ironic justice. She prizes knowledge above all else, but doesn't shy away from the notion of wealth.

History: Being of a race of smaller, flightless dragons, Salkuriatha's people long ago had to find craftier means to survive the human plague. Her kind were often seen as wretched, for they brought disease with their claws, venom in their fangs, and blood like corrosive acid. Often, they were also considered inferior by most other dragons, being bound to the ground, and having significantly shorter life spans (only up to 200 years). Thus, the Plague dragons used their ability to assume human form to integrate themselves into human society, thus surviving near or total extinction after enough of their kind had been slaughtered. However, as the world became more global, and systems were set in place to track a person's life, they were forced to the outskirts of society and third world countries. Every once in a while, they would hold conventions in secluded locations to meet in their dragon form and socialize, and perhaps find a mate.
Salkuriatha's family 'immigrated' to one of the more advanced countries, taking on the surname 'Brown', and herself taking up the alias Subira. There Salkuriatha immersed herself in the human world, becoming much like them. Being a woman to value knowledge, she'd been undergoing various courses of schooling, finding an interests in pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. Somehow, her life led her to be elected as an assistant to work on the dragon experiments. Ironies of ironies, Subira found herself on the other side of the glass, taking notes while researchers experimented on dragonkind.

Personality: Grael can be very aggressive when she first meets a new dragon but after a while can be thoughtful and helpful to the extreme. She is prejudiced against most humans but keeps her opinions to herself. She is always respectful and loves the water more than anything.

History: Because of the human threat and the shortage of mates of the same dragon type Grael was born a crossbreed between the Amphipteres of the sky and the Sea Serpents of the water. While she was young she was extermely chaotic and unpredictable to either of her parents so they named her after the Dragongoddess of chaos. She spent most of her time in the water while her only brother spent his time in the sky. When they were old enough to leave the nest she and her brother stayed together. She felt she did not need a mate at that time. After several centuries had passed and the dragons made themselves known to the humans her brother died saving her during an attack. After that she continued to travel alone, searching for a powerful mate that could help her achieve vengeance.

Appearance: Grael is about 74 feet long. She is a glistening dark blue and has large batlike wings. She has large, aquatic webbed ears and red eyes.
In human form she takes on the appearance of a pale, dark-haired female with bright blue eyes the color of her dragon form. Her hair is long. She always wears black in human form but the clothes are always different. Her human height is about five foot and three inches. She is thin in a very curvy and muscular way.

History: She was born in the snowy mountains of craymore, her family was eventually found and hunter however her mother was killed and Jewel was found by her father and taken to the island hidden from the human eye, when she became of age she was able to hide herself as a human in case.

Personality: An over all grandfatherly figure. Very wise and respectful. Years of practice has lead to him being level-headed.
History: Yamamoto was born on an isolated mountain in the Zhou Dynasty. Yamamoto lived with his Mother, Father, and two younger sisters. When he was about 17 years old, Emperor Zhou Liwang's army confiscated the entire mountain in order to dig out iron ore, Yamamoto and his family where captured and turned into slave and forced to dig. In the mines life was horrible, everyone was malnourished, to the point to where Yamamoto couldn't even turn back into a dragon. Approximately 50 years past in the mines, of constant mining day and night. He had all but forgotten what the sky looked like, what fresh air smelled like, and what flying felt like. A tremor shook the mountain causing a cave in, killing most slaves and slavers alike. Yamamoto barely escaping the wreckage far away from the mountain. He lived off the land becoming a nomad for hundreds of years, slowly regaining energy. Until finally transforming for the first time in over a hundred years. Yamamoto stated to get hunted by Dragon Hunters in China, for hundreds of years he avoided them, until one day an entire army drove him away from China. He flew all the way to Australia.
There in Australia Yamamoto met a coven of Dragons, they taught him how to fight, and defend himself. Taught him what it meant to be a “Dragon”, which consisted of wrecking havoc on innocent people, destroying villages, basically being a wild mindless creature. Yamamoto never really agreed with the lifestyle choice, but stayed because the love of his life, Erin refused to leave. The two stayed together for about 1,000 years. One day Erin was flying over the ocean, when a Lost British Dragon Hunter ship saw her and in an epic battle Erin was defeated, where her skeletal remains is where The Great Barrier Reef started. Grief stricken, Yamamoto flew away to the Caribbean to try and escape the pain, and anguish of his lost love.
Yamamoto refused to turn into a dragon again, one it always reminded him of Erin, and two times were changing and Dragons weren't as common in the Caribbean as they were Australia. Yamamoto was on a fishing boat out in the deep ocean when a Pirate ship tried to ransack his little boat. Yamamoto fought bravely as well as he could, but the Pirates sheer numbers overwhelmed him. The Pirate Captain saw potential and offered a spot on his ship, Blackbeard was a terrible, fearful pirate. Ruthless and Ambitious, Yamamoto sailed with him for years, until he was defeated in 1718. Yamamoto settled in Cuba, teaching himself in solitude. One day Dragon hunters had come to Cuba of suspicion of Dragons. They began torching villages and killing innocent people all in search for dragons. Feeling overwhelmingly guilty, he transformed and fled the island. Flying for many weeks in a row, Yamamoto came across an Island. He landed there hopefully finding peace, he discovered that it was a sanctuary for dragons, thinking he had finally found a peaceful place, Yamamoto has been here ever since.

Personality: Samatha is a very happy, smart, go-lucky kid. She is very curious about things around and that tends to get her into trouble. She can be mean, but that's only if she doesn't like you.

History: Samatha was born with both her parents on island. Her parents were very social and didn't like to fight. They also traveled taking her with them. She meet many dragons and humans alike and has a very good memory of who she meet. When the humans started to come to the island her family started to converse with them and often worked with the scientist that came to the island. Her mother disappeared about two month after the humans started to come to island and that made her father go out on long searches when she was sleeping. When other dragons started to disappear he wouldn't let her go out alone and told her to stay away from the humans. He left her in the care of another dragon as he went off to do a much wider search then normal. The dragon he left her with is one of the oldest on the island, that is reaching his last days. She stays with him, but every now and then she wonders off getting herself into trouble and trying to find out why her father wanted her to stay away from the humans.

Personality: John is strong, quiet, and hard headed. He is caring and sweet when it comes to his family.

History: John was raised in a large family, he himself being the youngest. He was raised around humans and other races. In his 16th year of life he met Rinne. The date for over five years before finally 'marring'. They went off after that and found the island. They decided to stay there, but traveled often to see family and friends. Then when they had their first eggs they were mostly crushed except for one. Samatha was the only one to survive. When Samatha hatched he and Rinne were over joyed. He would take her along on the tips. He found it necessary to get her use to both dragons and humans at the time until Rinne disappeared after the humans arrived at the island. He kept Samatha away from the humans and the outside world after that. He started to search the island at night for Rinne, but couldn't find her. Then he left Samatha in the care of an older dragon before he started a world wide search. He now comes back after find prof of her death.

Personality: Melira is willfull and confident. As one of the few kits birthed in her clan, she’s used to getting her way. She's a bit of a klutz, for a dragon, and is remotely interested in this entertainment humans call books.

History: Melira’s clan lives in one of the least populated areas on Earth, the Arctic Circle. Children are rare in those conditions, so she’s been forced to entertain herself. It is a tradition that at 100 years of age, a dragon must go out into the world and find his or her own place. They are not able to return to home until another century has passed. In order to reach this coming of age, Melira had to spend a week in her human form to prove her strength. Otherwise, she’s never retreated into that form.

She is bubbly and upbeat with a good heart and tries to judge both dragons and humans fairly before settling on an overall opinion.

History: Lura comes from a line of draconic prowess but she has chosen to forgo the political aspects of her line and decided to live for herself. Her mother supported her in her choice but her nest father has shunned her and as such whenever he sees her, he attacks her viciously.

Personality: Hot tempered but is quite sensitive. He is strong willed and scrappy. He puts on a tough air but really he is quite sweet.

History: He has just become old enough to leave his mother and is venturing the island by himself for the first time. He has no other nest mates because their eggs were stolen by humans but before his could be retrieved his mother arrived and scared them away. He liked to be near the beach but was attacked by a group of humans and so now has to deal with injuries.

Personality: friendly to most, but cautious and untrusting.

History: Kai grew up in a tribe of wandering nomads, though he didn't like it much.. he usually acted friendly but he never liked being around large groups. When they settled on the dragon's island to restock drinkable water Kai and several others went searching for food as well. Kai got separated from the rest when an old tree broke that he had used as a bridge. After wandering around for a few days he passed out from thirst and hunger, only to wake later under the shelter of a dragons' wing and finding out his nomadic tribe had already left.
He and Eclipse decided to stay together for awhile after that.

Personality: He is easy-going and cool tempered. It is hard to get him angry most of the time, though there are a few things that set him off...

History: Max was always one to take it easy, and not strain himself or anyone else unless the outcome was well worth it. However, he had always had a facination with creatures of myth, expecially dragons. And upon hearing the news of dragons, he was one of the first few citizens to travel to the island of the dragons. However, he would find that he wasn't so fortunate, for he found himself falling a hundred feet of the side of a cliff trying to look at a dragon that was flying by. His right arm and right eye were damaged beyond the repair of current medicines, however through the revolution of robotics, his eye and arm were replaced with synthetic limbs. However, his facination with dragons never lessened, and with the now hard facts, he began studying everything he could about them as he could while he was getting used to his new parts. As soon as he was able to, he went back to the island, not acting any different then before.
Looks:
His hair is black, and his left eye is a silvery blue while his right glows with a faint sky-blue light. He made no attempt to hide the robotic look to his arm.
Other: The eye works just like his other one, and his new arm functions the same as well, though his feeling with it is somewhat limited, being pressure points are the only things sending 'touch' to Max's brain from the arm.

Personality: Anya is very logical seeing most things as mere challenge of sorts. She doesn't however tend to show very much emotion other the excitement she feels around the dragons. Her cold logical thinking make many distrusting of her, and many others just plain hostile.

History: Anya was born in England but was raised in many countries, including Japan, Iceland, America and Latvia. Anya was raised to be smart, her parents both being rather respectable scientists, they taught her their fields of Physiology, psychology and biology. Anya however was born blind, Anya tried to make up for her lack of sight by gathering more information, if she was smart enougth she didn't have to see was her stance on the situation.
Anya was quickly hailed as a prodigy, she didn't understand why people wanted to talk to her, she thought all children were just as smart as she was. She shunned the fame, she didn't want nor understand it, she did however like the publicity, Her parents were quickly approached by several companies. Many offered simple projects that she simply rejected, but after a few years one came in for an environmental study of the dragons.
How could she refuse, this offer was an odd one however, instead of capturing and disecting them she was to find out as much as she could from the dragons themselves. Anya was dubious but her mind had been untested of late, this would prove interesting. So Anya ended up on the island, the people who brought her there helped her set-up a small camp and left. Anya confused as to the point in this, who leaves a blind girl alone on an island, she didn't know why but they seemed afraid of the dragons.

History: My mother was a vampire and my father was was a soul eater. When I turned two years old my parents separated. Then I spent my life with my father. I become much like a tomboy except for my appearance. My grandmother would take me sometimes and teach me how to be a proper lady. In the end I become really confused about my self wonder which way was best for me. As time went by I developed to distinct personalities. At the moment I am at war with my father because of our very different views on life and I don't really plan on returning home after this trip.

History: She grew up with her father that was the head of a gang, Serpents, in their home town. She got what ever she wanted. When she had turned sixteen she already had participated in many of the gangs actives. Once the dragons had been found her father took the opportunity to make money. He was the first to start the 'hunt' for the dragons. He sent Lillia for a month to the island to gather informtion and not long after she got back her father was killed and she became the head of the gang. Now she goes back to the island to see that the 'hunts' are going as planed.

Personality: Korin maintains an air of mild indifference to almost anything that doesn't involve dragons. When he gets intense about dragons it can quickly break down this fascade, and he sometimes can take an almost manic sort of personality.
Crush/significant other: Korin has a little sister that he adores and as such she has never been anywhere he deems dangerous.
History: Since he was a little boy, Korin has had an almost morbid obsession with dragons. But not as the great, magestic beings they were made out to be. His interest lied in the hunting and slaying of these beasts. The greatest heroes in Korin's eyes were the ones who had slain at least one dragon. At the age of nine Korin brought into being a lifestyle he compiled from all the lore and history he had compiled, which he dubbed the "Slayer's Way." This training had sharpened his already considerable mind and honed his body into the killing machine he had wanted it to be for so long. Korin spent years training, much of it spent hunting large animals deemed worthy for great hunts. Since the discovery of the "dragon-island," Korin has traveled there a total of five times, bringing back four slain dragons. Korin has been called, literally quoted, "One of, if not the, greatest dragon-slayers of all time."
Looks: Korin is about six feet tall, and is easily recognized as being all lean muscle. Korin has light brown and wear's half-frame glasses, his eyes being a dark green. His typical outfit consists of an orange shirt, khaki cargo shorts and white sneeaker. When out hunting, he wears armor constructed from dragon scales, overlapping to form his protective second skin. Korin's weapon of choice is an enormous greatsword that spends almost all of its time strapped to Korin's back, even when he is not wearing his armor. He also carries four daggers made form the claws of the dragons he has slain. This greatsword truly is enormous and a testament to Korin's strength. He can swing the sword with one that most men can't even lift with both of theirs. Korin's stregth is a thing of legend to be sure, but it is unsure as to where he came by such prodigious strength. He has dubbed his sword Extraho-Nex, "Dragons-Death. It is approximately 5' 7-3/8" from the tip of the blade to the cross guard. ((image of sword:

Other: Korin has a particular weakness for both his sister and sweets. He also is as blind as the proverbial bat without his glasses. He also has a penchant for obsessively measuring things, from time to distance to personality traits (it is unsure how he make those particular measurements).

History: Nari is from one of the other families that travels endlessly across the earth in the same group as Kai. She's one of their best marksman and seamstress. When Kai didn't return with the others after going further onto the island Nari refused to leave so the others took her by force, but she eventually got free and came back to the island as fast as she could.
