spaceAs soon as she was in the air, Ivy had her eyes peeled for the snitch. She was still wondering where the hell all her supposedly inherent skill from the previous year had gone; after all, she didn't believe in beginner's luck. Besides, if that were even a thing, she'd have beaten Vander the year before, and she hadn't. Still, she was a little irked that she couldn't seem to spot as easily anymore. Was she going blind? Did she need glasses? ... Maybe. Though, playing Quidditch with glasses would be a pain in the arse, so contacts would be preferable.

He looked surprised, brown eyes growing wide as he stared at his empty hand for a second. It took the third year a second to register what had happened, and in that time, Vannah was already headed back down the pitch! Oh, heck no! Gid turned tail and flew beside her, reaching out to regain the quaffle. spaceJazzy frowned; she had an objective. And maybe she should feel a bit guilty, being so biased. She hadn't wanted to hit Rhys last game, after all, even though he was Seeker, for personal reasons. But, people were imperfect, and she was fine with that. Besides, Rhys wasn't more experienced than Ivy. Vander, on the other hand, was, and that made him more of a priority. Simple. With a determined look on her face, she managed to find a bludger, aiming it at the Slytherin Seeker.

  Location: Quidditch Pitch - Gryffindor vs. Slytherin The game was off and moving, Mira was up in the air scanning the field for potential targets. She needed to redeem herself. It was a toss between Asteria and Gideon being the worst problems. Luckily Gideon didn't get a shot past Benjamin but they had a long way to go. Seeing Savannah take a hit from Asteria she decided to try and repay her for that hit. Mentally cursing that she had no way of getting to Savannah in time, soon spotted a bludger headed for Evander. Hoping to get there in time to save him, Mira took a swing hoping to redirect it back at Asteria. Status: Hopeful With: Slytherins and Gryffindors Wearing: Quidditch Uniform OOC:

She leaned closer to her broom, tucked the red quaffle tight in the crook of her arm and against her side. Every once in a while, she'd veer left and then right in a smooth zigzag to try and shake off the chasers. Mainly, Gid. It felt like they were the only two playing so far. Shaking him off her tail, she hurried down the field.

Spotting the Gryffindor seeker for the first time since the game started; it was hell to keep his focus on the streak of red as he pinpointed a bludger. Tristan whipped his broom to a sliding halt as he stopped to take aim, then swung. With any luck, he might be able to swing a blow down on Ivy.

Aster gave a muffled screech of fury when a redirected bludger slammed into her left thigh, bordering on her hip. She hadn't even been the one to hit that, it had been Jazzy!
