The Fierce Deity
Vice Captain

PostPosted: Sat Oct 22, 2005 3:41 pm

::The bright lights of the stadium reach Deity's hidden eyes as he steps through the doorway, squinting slightly at the light. They suddenly seem a great deal brighter than usual, though it is more than likely just his imagination. Once inside and on the arena floor, he follows Satomi with his eyes.

He moves after her a moment after she reaches the wall, stopping to her right and leaning back against the wall as well. He slides down it until his bottom touches the floor, and he unpockets his hands, folding them with his arms hanging loosely around his lifted knees. He still cannot shake this odd feeling, and can only hope it goes away soon enough.::

Whipping of winds and falling of snow filled Kalron's vision as he forced himself through the deep snow of the northern Canada. Each step he took led him to believe he was heading in the wrong direction, of course the village did tell him that it was hazardous to try and navigate the desert by himself. Kalron saw now that he was foolish to challenge that statement, though he did take that challenge to an extent, for a normal human or creature would be well dead before coming to this point. Although he did not find regret in his choice of clothing. He was wrapped up insomuch that only his eyes were bare agains the harsh cold chill of the weather, though that seemed to not bother him for he did have sunglasses upon those eyes, still cold but the protected from the brilliant reflection from the pure white snow.

The large pack on Kalron's back caused that his feet to make deep and wide tracks as he walked, however the storm would quickly fill up the track behind him in it's fury. He would just fly, but the weather was too ferocious, he was confined to the ground. This was the slowest he had ever felt in years, though his thoughts always kept coming back to the persective of this being another challenge to him. Another obstacle to in his path for what he longed for the most...Truth.

It was moments later that he saw a large undetailed patch in the distance. Kalron couldn't make heads or tails of it, but he figured it was his best chance at getting to shelter.

Unks

::Unks was the last one to enter the arena. He looked over her person to see if he had what he needed to do battle. He looked at his hip and saw he forgot his sword but had his elemental glove.

Unks stood past the door in the arena close to the ring but still close enough to the group. He looked over at Deity and smiled. He then looked at the others and gave them a soft nod and smirk::

"Hey Deity is there anyway you can get my sword to me without me going back to my room?"

Marius watched the proscession with great interest. Something important was going down, and at this point, the bored Marius was hoping he could somehow get in on the action. He stepped forward as he saw them heading for the large doors, which he figured to be the entrance to the huge colosseum type building he'd seen when he had been outside.

He'd fallen back agaisnt the wall as new people continued to enter, and talk, and join the group of people in question. Something about being a stranger made Marius feel quite awkward, as he had no idea as to how these people reacted to things. Still, he could sense great power residing within almost all of the people ahead of him. His well tuned ears picked up on the conversation of the people in the group. Apparently someone was out to get the poor girl, who was now continually being rallied and helped by the various people surrounding her.

He saw the glance from Unks, he'd received, and decided that was a good enough invitation to go over towards the group. At this point, Unks was theo nly one Marius had previously been acquainted with, therefore, offering him a window, if small, to get in on whatever was happening at the moment.

So, taking a step forward, he hesitated, then seemed to glide over towards the group, a soft smile on his face as he landed beside Unks. He leaned over to the Saiya-Jin's ear and whispered. "What is going on, Unks?" Before leaning away and looking at the man.

Jade sat down across from Satomi and Deity, crossing her legs in front of her as she settled down, leaning forward and putting her elbows on her legs, resting her chin in her hands. She sighed slighlty, and glanced around slowly with partially opened eyes. Her tail thumped lighlty against the floor.

Waiting for something to happen was always the hardest part....

Keno took his place over the ring floor. As he reached the center, he lept up and positioned himself upside down, his feet connecting and sticking to the rafters above. He folded his arms and bowed his head at as he waited patiently for something to happen. He wasn't in a talking mood mood anymore. He'd save his voice for something more appropriate or not speak at all, unless someone addressed him.

(That is fine. I can respond to Divine then)

::Unks looked at Marius as he enetered the arena. Unks had a very serious look in his eyes as he spke to Marius. He then looked at Satomi and the others. He pulled him over to the side and wispered::

"I don't know what is going on, but right now I don't think it is safe. All I know if all of us are gonna protect a friend of ours. She is being hunted."

The crackle of static could be heard outside, a small black dot appearing to hover in the air. Slowly it began to twist and expand, growing larger. It stretched to rise to about seven feet high, the bottom sinking into the ground to allow a better exit. Out from the black portal stepped a man's form in a swirl of fabric. The heavy cloak settled around the man's legs as his gaze focused on the doors leading into the building. A slow rage-filled smirk curved his lips, marring his handsome face. Today he would get what he wanted.

Not trained when it came to auras, or energy signatures, Idrael was still able to sense others. The smirk lingered, the man seeming to find it just amusing. If they were friends of his niece, they would prove to be troublesome but it wouldn't stop him. He had his ways of keeping them from interfering. Walking forward, Idrael pushed his cloak from his shoulders as his hands lifted to push open the door. Violet eyes raked the room, finding the place mostly empty.

Locking in on the other signatures, he found them in the stadium he had exited last time he had been there. Satomi was among them, along with the one that dared to interrupt him last time. A dark smile curved his lips. It would be rather satisfying to fight the boy. Especially if he could pay him back for getting in the way the night before. Because of him Satomi had managed to escape his grasp for even longer.

Walkig swiftly through the main room of the place, the man hurried down the hall in a swirl of heavy black fabric. His eyes were hard, jaw set in anger. Rage boiled in his heart, having been there for years now. Only finding out he had been sent away, and was unable to get back, increased this and focused it more on his niece then his brother. He was sure the man was still alive, but it didn't matter now. if anything, it just increased his desire to be pmore powerful.

Stopping in the doorway, Idrael's gaze swept over everyoen present. They all seemed ready to fight. A brief searching of each of the faces, and his gaze rested on his niece. "Well, so we see each other once more, my dear Satomi.." A laugh echoed through the room, one that would cause anyone's skin to crawl. "You should just give it to me, Niece. Instead of casuing all these problems.." His hand rose, wrist flicking in Satomi' direction to imobilize the girl.

---

The girl watched as the people entered, eyes following Deity as he sat next to her. Emerald eyes were sad, half closed. At that moment, she seemed tired and broken more then anything else. All this stress on the girl's shoulders was too much. Overall, Satomi was till young in comparison. Where she used to live, for her race, she was still just a teenager. There had always been responsibility on her shoulders, for she was the eldest child, but this was something much different. A sigh escaped her lips as her head rose, tilting back to have her gaze be directed upwards.

Suddenly her body stilled, the colour once more draining out of her face. Emerald eyes widened, and Satomi's hands began to tremble. He was there. "D-D-Deity.." She managed to choke out, head turning to look at him. A moment later her gaze snapped to the doorway, emerald orbs watching. The tall man came out then, the dark locks framing his face settling back into place. The girl began to tremble, listening as he spoke. A moment later she whimpered quietly, finding herself unable to move or speak.

---

Idrael smirked happily, his left and then raising. A black orb formed in the center of the ring. It sunk to be about half way down, before it started to expand. It was a barrier, static crackling along the surface. It would hurt anyone who touched it, except for those he wanted inside. It would push everyone out of the way, so he would only fight who he chose. So the others wouldn't interrupt. This barrier would stretch almost to the ceiling, and expanding out to just past the short wall around the seating area. Only Deity and Satomi wouldn't be affected by this barrier, finding themselves cut off from everyone else but Idrael.

Walking forward casually, the man continued to smile darkly. His eyes shifted to Deity's form, eyebrow arching. "Now, you interrupted me before.. I do not take people getting in my way lightly.." Idrael snarled, voice darkening. His icy purple eyes flashed with anger, glowing brightly for a brief moment.

<< Phew!! Done!!

Sorry guys, but if you could respect the barrier. n__n; .. It's so no one can interrupt. >>

Jade jumped up at the entrance of this man, obviously by his actions the one after Satomi. Her gaze turned sharply to Satomi when the girl whimpered, not moving. The young girl growled and glared at the man, crouching slighlty. But then that black, barrier thing formed, and forced her to jump back away from it. When it finally stopped expanding, she looked around, and noticed Satomi and Deity weren't in sight. Jade turned to the black barrier, wide eyed.

She yelled slighlty and punched at the barrier with her fist, only to have pain surge through it from contact with the barrier. Jade held her hand, and looked at the barrier almost disparingly.

"No...."

In a flash Keno was ready to fight and launched straight at the stranger as he heard Satomi struggling Deity's name between her lips, but too little too late. As he lept from the rafters, he saw the barrier grow and expenad. It wasn't a normal barrier. He could feel it, and before he could even get close he was forced to retreat high about the arena, nearly pressed to the ceiling. He made his way around back to the entrance before he firmly gained footing and charged up. His aura flashed, lighting everything around him with the color of blood, shimmering with black shadows. His ki was accelerating rapidly from anger and the instinct to protect Satomi at all costs. In a flash he was gone, moving straight for the barrier with his left arm reared completely back. Like a bullet he punched at the barrier, the impact causing quite a powerful shockwave to emit, but resulting in nothing as he was repelled back, his arm pulsing a little with pain he assumed was caused from contacting the barrier. "Damn...I got careless. What now?"

(( Alrighteh, I think I might jump in, though I won't play much of a role in this. ))

:: The doors of the club swung open on their hinges, squeaking slightly as she stepped into the club. Mich felt in a good mood today, but immediately after she walked into the club, some kind of indescribable tension started to weigh her down and shifted her mood. She became more wary and worried as she looked around and saw no one in the club. She figured they must all be in the stadium, so this is exactly where she started heading off to. As she got closer, the feeling of dread and danger began to weigh more heavily on her mind, but she kept going forward, until she finally came to the entrance of the club.

What she saw made her gasp, but she quickly held it back. In the arena, all she could see was a black barrier. Static sparked randomly here and there, but she could feel it's energy, and knew it wasn't good. She could figure out as much, even if she didn't have powers like most of her friends she had met at the club.

Looking around the barrier, she also saw Jade, Keno and three other men she had never met before. Looking inside the barrier, she saw Deity, Satomi and a man she had never seen before. Probably someone she was better off not meeting. She could also tell that everything about him wasn't right. She had no idea what he was doing, or what relation he had with Deity or Satomi, but she worried very much for both of their safeties. Many thoughts and questions raced through her head and she wondered what she should do. She decided for the moment it would probably be best to stay where she was.. so she stayed and watched things from afar. She didn't want to get in the way. ::
