Keno seemed to take no interest in Raleigh''s presence. He had not seen her when he entered the bar and even then, her unique ki signature was not present. As far as he knew, she wasn''t there. He continued reading, mumbling the words silently to himself as he took the knowledge in. So far he was simply reviewing his studies. There was nothing thus far in the first reading that he did not know. As he got to the left of the paper, he rolled it back up and bound it, pulling out the second scroll and began indulging on its knowledge.

Dev took this time to rumage through Raleigh's room. She looked around for a momment to find if anyone was still around, not like it would matter for with Dev's knowledge no one really bothered to notice Raleigh. As she came to the door, she slipped the key out from under her shirt, and opened the door. She first noticed an unmade bed, with clothes lying next to it. Looking for Raleigh bag, she slowly examined the room.

Keno was indeed very dense. Though he could not feel Raleigh, he had felt Dev, but didn't realize something relatively important. Dev was here alone. Last time he checked she seemed only to be around to harrass Raleigh, and yet she wasn't anywhere around. This connection was taking its sweet time in the back of his mind. Meanwhile he continued to study, the second scroll gave more insight on his previous knowledge, filling in gaps he would definitely need to know to advance successfully. He sighed deeply as the silence hung over him, but did not move from his idle position.

Picking up Raleigh's bag she dumped all the materials out on the bed, looking for the dagger that Raleigh had found sometime ago. Between a pair of clothing materials, a dull figure dropped out. Placing the dagged in her belt to hold, she thought of something else she could find to help. With this she thought to herself, "Why am I bothering to help her?" Even thought it was clear enough, Dev still had quite a strong selfish personality. It was either for them to work together and stop what was comming, or it was Raleigh's life which indeed would mean Dev's existance would exist no longer.

Keno closed the second scroll, and bound it. Waving his hand over the collection, the materials vanished. Indeed that second reading was much more than he had expected. He stood to stretch, and almost as if on cue, the connection finally clicked in his mind. Though not particularly panicked, he was indeed curious as to what was going on. He ran rather quickly back into the bar, passing the elevator and flying full speed up the stairs to Raleigh's room. Upon reaching, he knocked gently, not speaking, but simply waiting for a response from inside. He felt Dev present at least, but he cared not if perhaps he was overlooking something.

As the Door was knocked up Dev had already cleaned up the mess that was surrounding Raleigh's bed, "It's open." She called out, and finished making up the bed standing up with her hands on her hips. Without being scared of anyone finding out it was her she looked at the door knowing who else would it be other then Raleigh's pet boy Keno.

As Keno walked through he was expecting to see Dev, but she seemed to still be disguised as Raleigh. "Um...any particular reason you're playing dress up?" he asked kiddingly, trying his hardest to be friendly. He didn't want to pry too much, but curiosity and cats....enough said.

Dev was very diffrent from Raleigh, personality and all, but today she would play it off. She wasn't staying for long, she had to catch up to Raleigh so she pulled it off for now, "Only trying my best to look good for you." She tilted her head, and crossed one leg infront of the other with a small smile. "What are you up to?"

"Not falling for such simple tricks," Keno said smiling as hewalked up to her and hovered up to eye level. "I already know who you are Dev, but that's okay. Even if you weren't Dev, you're not Raleigh. She has yet to say anything like that to me." He wasn't going to admit that he wasn't even sure how Raleigh felt, but Dev probably could see that clearly, being the only one who seemed to acknowledge the two interracted. "Well I won't ask what business you have this time. But I will leave you with a gift." He leaned forward and placed a pecking kiss on her forehead. "The real Raleigh was about to get that, but since you're taking her place, I'm sure you won't mind holding on to it for her."

Dev stood confused for a moment. Could she be wrong about the two? Without a second thought, the room went silent until a crackle sound was heard behind Dev, in mid air there was a red rip in the atmosphere inside they could see a city of a darker world and Raleigh herself walking into what seemed to be an abandoned apartment building almost broken down to it's core. The atmosphere in this world was way beyond negative with brought along the theme of a storm taking it's place. "She won't be back for a while..." Dev said looking into the portal.

"Just try and bring her back safe," he said peeking over into the portal. He wasn't sure if he could go to that place, but apparently Dev could. If she asked, he would have gone without a second thought to help, but it was probably her way of 'helping' Raleigh once more. "I'll be around for a while, so just call out if you need me." He floated back toward the door and simply stood watching what she would do next. He didn't know either of them could rip portals. It was similar to what Epithany did, but obviously held differences.

Dev took her form back and stepped inside without another word, there was no time to waste. She wasn't sure if today would end they way she would hope, nor if they would find the black spirit for it usaully moved on. Dev knew why this spirit kept torturing Raleigh, for it was blind to everyone that Raleigh had a power inside her that was needed for him to finish his deeds. Since Raleigh was so unaware of it, she did not break into her new power, and the only way to reach it was to kill her and consume it inside something that was like an element for his own doing. The portal shut, and Raleigh's room was left in silence.
