oh hahaha... sorry Rose... but yeah... Rukekuu basically summed it up.
since artists that are thought of as "indie"/"underground"... fans tend to stick to the idea that these artist will remain untouched by fame and fortune, and will remain loyal to just making music. by Gazette making a CM and/or beginning to gain popularity, fans will begin to feel that the band is being consumed by fame and fortune.
i agree with Rukekuu. i think for them to make CMs and such, lets us know that they are moving on to a whole new chapter in their careers. by having that happen, now there is a new bar/goal/expectation set for them to achieve.

Yeah exactly I mean it was obvious it was going to happen anyway, The gazette rising to fame I mean they had all the key things needed for it. Hot guys, interesting personalitys, dressed in awesome costumes, incredible music, and pv's. I mean come on whats the big deal, for me it just means that hopefully they'll continue on with there career and never thinking of just quiting. Now they know that there loved and not just in japan, even overseas. What I dont understand is the same people complaing and saying that they changed, are the same people who had wished that they'd come up on tv and get noticed more -___- does that even make sense?

see... if they didn't make it to fame... that just means that "you guys probably suck" or doesn't have a good PR person to manage them. i agree... they do have all the key elements that aids them. i think they know they are loved overseas too. they need to find the right time to expand (plus the $$$ of course... it always comes down to $$$ to expand... I mean, look at Gackt... he's just doing it now.) Oh yeah... i know what you mean. some people doesn't like changes, yet wish the band would show up on TV to get noticed. the weird part is... if the band do show up on TV and get noticed, that means they have to keep changing their image to keep up with the demand of the masses. those people are a bit weird to me.

mew. (^-^)
3nodding yeah... what you said. expansion can mean that they are getting better. i agree. (^-^)
anywho... i was watching something on Youtube, and someone said that Ruki doesn't sing certain songs anymore because of how developed his voice is for singing. i'm kinda baffled... does that really matter? i just thought he stopped singing those songs because they keep playing it... and it is becoming to be too overly done. no?

wah. seriously?! i mean i get what they mean that maybe his voice doesn't sound like how they recorded it? For example some of their really old song his voice was [scratchy? whiny like] (i don't mean whiny like but like...idk how to explain) and now it's much stronger so it doesnt...uhhh..nevermind. haha i don't get what i'm saying. But..yeah, i don't really know if we should believe youtube. I mean as GazettE makes more song the other songs would be put on hold for the newer ones, right?

yeah... i was riding on a train, and i was going over my Gaze music library on my pod... and i realize that his voice did change in range. i was comparing "Best Friends" to "Guren" since they are right next to each other in my Gaze Library. so... yeah... those are two extremes of each other in regards to when they were recorded.
but still... i think it is more of a "must move on" mentality than a "vocal change" thing. can't always sing the same songs all the time for each concert they hold right? they have other songs too, and they need love too! :XP: lol

haha...yeah either one the results the same. I'm sure someday they'll have a concert consist of only their old songs. Some musicians do that right? Because even though i do love their new songs i still want to listen to the older ones LIVE.
D'espairsRay is 0N DEMAND! : O

uhhhh... those "coming back out" tours some older artists tend to hold... yes. usually if those types of concerts are held, they do tend to play all their top hits and mix in a few new stuff they are working on.
as in comcast ON DEMAND???? *baffled*

hmmm I"m not sure about ruki not singing certain songs because of his voice, if anything I think its just because the older the song gets the more people want to hear it. So when they suddenly come out with a older song everyone goes excited. Like when I heard the performed Tokyo shinjuu I was stunneddddddddddddddddddd even though I didnt hear it myself sad

i know there has always been that thing going around back in the days that Ruki sounded like Kyo (though i don't hear the similarity... may be it is the back in the day before they tone their voices)... anyways... i've been lurking around Youtube, and i guess my mind decided to play games with me or my hearing isn't as it use to be... or may be it isn't me at all and what i heard is really that they do sound like each other... but... that lead vocal for the band Screw (and they too are part of PSC. =D), and Ruki sound almost ever so slightly the same. the other guy's voice is much deeper... but anyone share the same opinion? yes? no? i'm hearing things again? lol.
