I'm so happy! My creation has become real! I almost want to go buy it, just because it's mine, but I like the hair I have so much... and the new one doesn't hide my human ears, which is absolutely a must. That one always was my favorite, too!
Now I gotta go think of something to enter in that item contest. The V mask is probably too close to copyrighted material to work (especially since Alan Moore has such a giant stick up his a**), so let's see... what can I do that would be suitably impressive...

Lucca Ashtear Now I gotta go think of something to enter in that item contest. They said in the announcement that they don't want items inspired by other media. It would be cool to get like, some bleach gear or somthing, but I'm sure they won't accept it.

Hence why I'm not doing any V mask.
I'll probably do either a hakama or a bathrobe, since neither yet exists and both are a) useful for cosplays and b) not actually from anything. The bathrobe, of course, would be open, and it would come in brown and black versions, to please the Star Wars and Harry Potter cosplayers while remaining... well, a bathrobe.

my idea, stated here, september 06, 2007, so don't steal it or i keel you all >.>.....
Is a grass/reed cloak, like you see samurai wearing in almost every anime/manga with samurai in it. It would have a couple poses, such as just on the back, or covering the front and back.
And a samurai flag, with like their lord's crest, on their back. Which could maybe display different gaia factions suich as gambino/vonhelsons, or durem/barton/akea.
that's my idea for the item creation contest, im workin on edits of them.
EDIT: that's if they allow multiple entries of course.

shock came up with a npc that makes designer clothes that have, I guess like a logo on it or something
I was thinking to make clothes that can be used to layer, like todays or last years fashion 3nodding

Lucca Ashtear They said single poses only in the rules. Sorry dude. Well that slightly limits the grass cape idea, but i could still do it. It just needs the right pose. and as for the samurai flag, I could submit the one idea with various examples of flags that could work. Now word yet on the multiple submissions.

I'm definitely going to be entering! I don't have any really good ideas yet, so far I keep thinking of really elaborate full-body dresses that wouldn't really work. sweatdrop They'll make good edits, though...

i cant wait to see all the great entry ideas! i think the ony thing ive been clamoring for these past years are rollerskates. i want some cool ones... even more so since ive taken up readin the air gear manga. cool
