I've started work on a new bust. 6" scale (roughly), of Brainiac 5.
So far I've roughed in the body and have started work on the head.
I'm using new tools on this, so it's going slow as I learn the tool. This is also the first male sculpt I've ever done.

This is it about a week ago. The angle is terrible and the flash exposed a lot of flaws in the clay that don't mar the sculpt (dust, mostly).
I've been working since then on shrinking the eyes, thinning the jaw, trimming the lips and such. I still have work to do on the eyes. I started roughing in the hairline as well.

The eyelids aren't as deep as the shadows make them seem, but I'm still honing them a bit. The eyes are too big right now.
I have to dig up my concept sketch and take a picture, but the basic gist is that Brainiac has an inquisitive look on his face, one arm crossed across his chest and one hand on his chin, as if he's deep in thought.
