Gho the Girl guardian_rose As far as the gang stuff goes, yeah, thats true. However it all depends on the situation. If you fit the profile, the police will stop you and ask you a few questions. All about context. Yes, but what was the point of raising the gang sign? You know, I don't quite remember where I was going with that. Its been a long day. Once I figure out what I was getting at, I'll repost. @Fiddler's Green- Yeah, its just sad. Wasn't the swastika originally used by the Celts? I thought I read that somewhere, but I don't remember where. Hence, my asking wink

CuAnnan No. It was used by the Hindi, as a quick wikipedia of the word will tell you. I don't have sources handy, but I looked into the history of the sunwheel once, and it almost looks like THEY got it a little before Hitler did. 8( I couldn't find much that was actually, you know, historical the way it needed to be. I kept meaning to put a post together, but no time.

In a piece of brass, I saw the face of god... ...they do not smile upon me, so much as they smirk at me.

Another time, another place... another chance. Eventually it comes to pass, that we have the opportunity to put aside our past, to put aside our shortcomings, and live. Truely and without reservation. Free of guilt, free of fear. Then, and only then, can I say that it was all worth it.

I am suddenly faced with the idea that in some places there is such a thing as too much empathy.

Recursive Paradox I am suddenly faced with the idea that in some places there is such a thing as too much empathy. Some people jealousy horde their pain... Others like the feeling of solitude, or at least believe they do... And then, oh then... there are the things you really don't want to feel that another person is feeling.

Of course, I probably shouldn't mix up empathy with being manipulated emotionally. 3nodding

This rod, this burden, this cross I bear.
I am to love as I love myself without regard to whether the love I offer to others is returned or not.
And this hurts so hard. Especially when I feel as I feel for those who's paths go far away from me. There is no place for me by their side, and yet I must still love them with all my heart and soul.
But this is the same knife I've held in my chest all this time. THis is the same pain I've endured all these years. At least now, I do it for reasons that please Him. At least now, I love in His name, as heavy as a cross it shall be, I shall bare it for Him, as Yeshua did before me.
This pain and this suffering, this is the price we must pay, and it is through these things that we are Deus.
I am the Knight of Wands. I love in the name of God the All, and in the name of Jesus Christ.
