▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Hearing Zoey, Vincent let out a small sigh, "Oh? Is that so? Well, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip." Needless to say, Vincent couldn't care less about Zoey's warning, but the fact that she felt the need to tell him, anyway, said a lot about these shinku and herself as well. Ignoring the little conversation between Zoey and Vincent, Kain continued on his drawing. Just as he was putting on the finishing touch, Kain stopped and placed his utensils down. The shinku had become tensed, he appeared to have been in shock, for a few seconds, before calming down. Seeing this, Vincent would look towards his brother, "What's wrong?" he asked. "It seems as though we have two new visitors." Kain told them all as glanced at the front door, just as it opened and Mirai, along with Texas, were seen standing there. Mirai's eyes locking onto his and his onto hers. Kain said nothing as the two stared. Vincent, on the other hand, seemed a little excited. "Well, look whose shown up. And to think, we were planning on hunting you down." he joked as he smiled. Vincent clearly held no grudge or harbored no ill will towards his sister or Texas, though he still sees her as an rival. After a few seconds had passed, Kain would stand up and walk over towards Mirai. Judging from her reaction, she had already known who he was, so Kain would avoid trying to state his name and prove his identity to her. No, instead he would attempt to hug her. "Welcome home, Mirai." he stated.

Once Mirai and Texas arrived, Zoey's heart skipped a beat. While she did enjoyed the fact that the whole family was together, were were still lingering feelings about Texas. None the less she had enough. Just a look in Kain's eyes and she knew she had disappeared from his word. Mirai would have just that effect. Standing up quietly as Brother and Sister seemed to have much to talk about. Zoey picked up some glasses and led them to the kitchen. Washing them as she traced their souls from the distance. DMA Head    ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte looked over at the door as she felt two new presences in her realm. She watched as the door opened and there stood Mirai staring mainly at Kain. As Vincent had said, Mirai's hair was now white. There was also something else that was very different about her though Charlotte couldn't exactly put her finger on it. Victoria drank some of her milk before seeing the two new people at the door. She connected the dots rather quickly and assumed that the white haired girl that Kain was now hugging was her older sister. Her gaze shifted to the black haired boy that was behind her then. Mirai stood there frozen in place as Kain walked up to her and hugged her. She had already known that he would be alive. She had been to the future of course. It was still shocking though. Mirai just stood there as her brother hugged him though eventually she managed to speak "Hello, big brother..." she replied back. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ With his arms still embracing Mirai, Kain would smile, "I've wanted to see you for such a long time. I'm glad that you showed up here today." he muttered before letting go of her and then making his way over towards Texas. Everyone within the room, knew what Kain or rather the former, Atticus, felt about Texas. He hated the boy and on multiple occasions, threatened his life and even attempted to remove him from Mirai's side, through any means. It was no secret that both Texas and Atticus, once friends, despised the other from the bottom of their hearts. Standing before the boy, Kain reached over and hugged him before pulling back, "I see that you've grown, both in strength and mind. It is good to see you, Texas." Kain stated. Unlike his former self, Kain held no grudges towards Texas. "I think that I liked the old Atticus more than this one." Vincent joked as he had expected to see some fists flying or a fight, it wasn't a family get together if there wasn't at least one fight. Ignoring Vincent's comment, Kain motioned for the two of them to come in and join them. "It's been so long since the three of us were under the same roof, let us sit down and talk." he added, hoping that Mirai and Texas would come in and stay for awhile.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas followed Mirai into the house and stopped at the same time she did. He too was focused on the same thing.....Kain. Or....? He recognized the Soul Wavelength for what it was and knew, despite everything he had been told, that he was looking at Atticus. "What the...?" He couldn't get any more words out as Atticus/Kain walked over to him and he just stared and Mirai's now-returned brother in shock. His shock increased as Kain hugged him and welcomed him back. "I.....whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???" He managed. "Weren't....aren't....don't....how...????" Was all he could respond with. He looked over at Mirai. "Did you know about this??" He asked, not daring to respond to Kain/Atticus at the moment since he still wasn't sure this was all some kind of set-up. And I just want to show them.

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai didn't say anything else mainly because she wasn't exactly sure what to say at the moment. Suddenly she was hugged again by her mom out of the blue. "Uh... Hello, Mother," she managed to say as Charlotte hugged her tightly. Charlotte quickly stepped back and put both hands on either side of Mirai's face, staring her down with a rather serious expression "Are you alright? Your scars... are gone? The last letter you sent to me had me worried sick..." Charlotte questioned. Mirai blinked a few times "U-Uh... I am alright now... I managed to harness my abilities a bit better... so my soul isn't a problem..." Mirai was honestly a little intimidated by her mother at the moment. Over time, she had noticed her mother growing way more confident and more spoken than she was back when father was alive. Both turned as they heard Texas freak out from Kain being alive. When he asked Mirai if she knew about it, Mirai shrugged "Uh... I went to the future and he was there... but I was a bit in denial about it happening here..." she said. Victoria continued watching everyone quietly before standing up and running back to her room, obviously to get the third picture that she made for her older sister. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

As the motive moment began, Zoey waited for a little longer. As she sensed their proximity to one another, Zoey smiled, making a stealthy portal behind her while placing a decoy that would copy her wavelength at the moment. "Everything is on it's rightful place once more..."With Kain reunited with his family. Zoey could attend other matters as to not spoil the mood. More over, she knew mother was troubled lately. And she decided to investigate on this matter. That aside, she held the old Atticus memories, which meant pretty much Texas wasn't exactly of her liking. As Mirai informed him that she had went to the future and had seen Kain there, all the pieces were coming together. "So, I take it that you were among the group of people that went with Lily to the future?" Kain asked, recalling Lily's tale from before. "Future? Are you serious?" Vincent asked them both. Vincent had hear the stories about how his brother and his friends went to the future and to the past, but now it appeared as though Mirai and some others went to the future as well. "Yo, Mirai, this future, what was it like? Was I there? How did I turn out?" Vincent began bombarding his sister with questions, but Kain would hold his hand up, "Vincent, now is not the time for that. Now, is the time for celebration, as the three of us have been reunited." Kain would say before looking back at Mirai and Texas. "It would mean the world to us, if you two would stay here for a bit. I know, Victoria would be happy."

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai nodded at Atticus as he asked if she was with Lily in the future. She said nothing as Vincent began asking his sister a ton of questions about the future, specifically him. "You weren't an a**hole in the future..." she muttered quietly under her breath. Obviously the harsh words her younger brother had said during their last fight were still in her head and she wasn't aware of Vincent's change since the last time she saw him. In general, she was a bit on edge with both Kain and Vincent mainly out of worry that if she warmed up to them, they would turn around and ruin that trust like before. Mirai's gaze shifted towards Kain as he spoke "Victoria?" she asked. Suddenly running was heard. Mirai glanced at the small red headed girl that ran up to her and held up a picture. "They didn't tell me your hair was white..." the girl said before Mirai took the picture and looked at it. The girl quickly ran back to her spot at the coffee table as Mirai observed the drawing. It was a picture of two smiling figures, one with red hair and the other with violet that stood in a field of flowers. "Mama I'm done with my drink and snack and I'm gonna put it away!" Victoria said. Charlotte smiled and nodded to her as she grabbed the cup and plate and went into the kitchen. "Thank you..." Mirai managed to say, still obviously confused especially since Victoria had called Charlotte "Mama". ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

Judging by how she was acting, Vincent was able to tell that maybe she still held some grudge against him. I mean, he did say and do some pretty horrible things to her, the last time they met. With a sigh, Vincent stood up and walked over towards Mirai, just as Victoria went into the kitchen. "Alright, so lets just deal with this, right now, before things get a little heated." Vincent said out loud so that everyone in the room could here, specifically Kain, who had not known about their fight or anything between them, for that matter. "Yes, the last time we met, I said some things, you said some things and then you went on to beat me into a blood pulp. Even giving me this awesome looking scar." Vincent rolled up the sleeves of his jacket and revealed the burned and scared arm, that he left as a reminder of Mirai's power. Seeing this, Kain seemed surprised. "What the hell were the two of you doing, fighting? he asked. "Well, brother. It was shortly after your death, that this happened. I was consumed with hatred and madness. I let my emotions and powers take over me. As a result, all that hatred was flung towards Mirai. I felt that she was the cause of your demise and so, I wanted to kill her or at the very least..." Vincent paused and looked at Texas, "...take someone she loved away from her. I wanted her to see what she had done to me and so I challenged her to a battle to the death. Clearly, things did not turn out the way I expected, hell, by the time the fight was over, Mirai had barely even broken a sweat, while I was lying on the ground, nearing death." Suddenly, Vincent would focus back on Mirai. "However, it was through that battle and thanks to the words of three special individuals, that I came to see how foolish I was. Which is why I am glad that you have come here today, Mirai." he stated with a big smile on his face. Mirai would be able to see that her brother had changed, the look in his eyes, the tone of voice, his overall appearance, gave off the aura of a man, filled with compassion and love. A man who has learned to care for others. Clearly, her brother had changed, the person standing before her, was no longer the little boy angry at the world. Without saying another word, Vincent would reach over and hug Mirai. This would be the first time that he had done such a thing, since he was just a baby. "I'm sorry, Mirai. I'm sorry for hurting you; for pushing you away, but I want you to know, that no matter where we go in life, what we say or do, one truth will always remain and that is that, I love you, big sister." After saying what he had to say, Vincent let go of Mirai and turned to face his mother, "I'm sorry for leaving you for so long and never really appreciating all the love you and Mirai gave me." As all of this happened, Kain would remain silent, he did not know of all the trouble that he, himself, brought to this family. Even in death, he was the catalyst for such a falling out. Was it right for him to comeback into their lives? Especially if it meant that he would bring back all the pain? Kain was troubled, he didn't know what to do.

Slowly she relaxed posture wise as it seemed that Vincent had changed over the last few months. She tensed up slightly as he hugged her though. She wasn't used to her family being so affectionate. Once he finished hugging her, Mirai stared at Vincent for a few more moments with a serious expression on her face. Eventually she smiled slightly "It's good to see that you are on a better path now..." she said. She paused for a moment, her smile fading again "It's... really nice to see everyone together like this... but I am not going to start trusting you both again and considering you both siblings... not yet at least..." Mirai looked at Texas then at Kain and Vincent "Texas is my family now too. He has been there for me in some of my darker moments and hasn't given up on me yet. He is important to me... I... I love him a lot... and he deserves more than how you both have treated him in the past. I want to be a family with you again... I really do. That's what I have wanted for a long time... but if Texas isn't accepted then therefore, I am not accepted either. I am not going to get my hopes up again and think 'maybe we can all be happy' only for those I consider my family to turn around and belittle my best friend, weapon, and boyfriend... I am not going to put him through that," she told both of them with a serious expression. Charlotte stood near one of the couches and glanced at Vincent as he apologized to her. She smiled softly at him an nodded before hearing Mirai speak up about them and Texas. She continued smiling slightly as she observed both Vincent and Mirai. They both had grown so much both physically and mentally. They were like entirely different people. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas didn't know what to say as he heard Atticus talk. He was still in shock. He didn't return Atticus's embrace but he didn't recoil from it either. He went and sat down next to them, listening to the conversation silently. He was still staring at Atticus wide-eyed as if he were expecting him to vanish at any second. It was probably better that he let the three of them speak anyway. And I just want to show them.

Hell, for most of his life, it had always been Mirai and Texas. So, the fact that she wanted them to accept Texas, was something he had been well aware of since his childhood. Glancing over at Texas, Vincent didn't seem to hate the guy, in fact he seemed almost welcoming of him. "Mirai, if that is all you're worried about, then, for me, at least, you can be at ease. I have grown a lot during my time with Noira. I am more mature than before and I can say to you honestly, I have no issues with Texas. I welcome him as your partner and boyfriend." Vincent stated with a smile on his face. From the very beginning, Vincent never really had any problems with Texas, just Mirai. However, as Mirai drifted more towards Texas and away from the family, more specifically him and Atticus, he began to despise Texas, but now, he no longer feels that way. Approaching Texas, who was sitting next to Mirai, Vincent held out his hand, "I hold no ill will towards you and I would like to thank you for being there for my sister and stuff." Vincent said, awaiting Texas' reply. Next came Kain, he would be the cause of most of the problems with Mirai and the family. He drove her farther away from them and hated Texas more than anyone. After taking a bite of his cookie, Kain focused on Mirai first, "Mirai, the past is the past. There is no way for us to fix what happened or for us to make up for all the time we missed, so I will not try to do so. I can't change the past, but I can change the future, by correcting the present." Unlike his past self, Kain was more analytical and cold at times, he has learned to control his emotions to the point where it almost seemed like he had none. "And in order to do that, I wish to start over with you....both of you." As he said this, Kain looked toward Texas. "In my past life, as Atticus. We met when you were still just a perverted little boy, hanging around Shira and I. We went on missions, went camping, attended parties, etc. I considered us friends, I even began to think of you like a little brother. That is, until you, in your fit of rage and anger. Raised your hand against my sister and attempted to cause her harm." Kain was able to recall it all so vividly, it was during Divine's attack on Death City, when they were relocated to the Refugee Camp. "In that instance, I saw you for what you truly were. A temperamental and dangerous kid, who could not control himself. that was when I resigned myself to ridding Mirai of you. Texas, you were someone that I trusted, just as much as Shira and for you to betray my trust and attack my sister. I couldn't forgive you, no matter what." This would be the first time that Kain would reveal the reason behind his harsh treatment of Texas and his attempts to try and get the boy to dissolve his partnership with Mirai. Sipping a little bit of tea, Kain would continue, "However, like I said, that was the past and this is the present. I am no longer the Atticus you knew and you are no longer the the boy that I knew. We have both changed, matured, hopefully. And I would like to be the first to say that I am sorry for treating you so badly, no matter the reason, you were still a friend of mine and for me to do something like that to you, is unforgivable. I hope that down the line, the two of us can go back to the relationship that we had before." Once Kain had finished speaking to Texas, he would stand up and face Mirai. "And to you, dear sister. I have done too much to ever hope for you to forgive me and to truly accept me as your family." Suddenly, Kain would fall to the ground and prostrate himself before Mirai. For a warrior, to do something like this, was the ultimate dishonor, he was essentially begging Mirai for her forgiveness. Kain, unlike his past self, threw away his honor and dignity, with this one act, showing how far he is willing to go. "Mirai, I am deeply sorry for causing you so much pain, so much sorrow. Even if it takes me a lifetime, I will never be able to make it up to you. So, I offer you my honor as a warrior and proud fighter."

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ As Vincent and then Kain spoke about the issue with Texas. She was pretty surprised with Kain's response though. In the past when they had talked about this issue, Atticus never seemed to listen to Mirai. He held a grudge against Texas and said many harsh words towards him. Now was different though. Kain seemed to regret his past actions and even apologized to Texas as well. Mirai akwardly glanced to the side for a moment as Kain ended up getting on the ground and apologized to her. Her gaze eventually went down to her brother again "A simple apology would have sufficed, big brother," she said with a small laugh as she smiled again. She leaned down and patted his head "It's alright. I forgive you."✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas slowly took Vincent's hand and shook it. "It's okay, no hard feelings," he told Vincent, managing a smile. He was still trying to overcome his shock. He stared at Kain as he heard his explanation and then prostrated himself before Mirai. "Uh...um....I'm willing to let it go if you are," he replied to Atticus quietly. He was still mostly leaving this between Mirai and her siblings. He glanced over at Charlotte and gave her a smile. She had always been nice to him and he was sure Mirai appreciated her mother's support as well. And I just want to show them.
