Charlotte walked out of te house then quietly, walking where the water and sand seemed to merge together. She finally made it to a hill where grass was growing in stead of the sand. She walked up to the hill then to a large tree which was the only one in the whole realm. The leaves seemed to be like mirrors or gems, reflecting light making the tree even more beautiful than it already seemed to be. She stopped and looked up at one of the branches tha she could reach, she gently took a leaf and stared at it for a moment, as if she was looking for something. Soon, the leaf glowed and disappeared then and she sighed and move to picking the apples off of the low branch. Once she was done, she picked up the basket of apples from the strange tree and walked back to her house quietly. The sky changed slightly as it became lighter out and the planets in the sky changed color and form.

She muttered as she walked downstairs once more. She looked outside for a moment at the tree before going into the kitchen. "Charl! Get me some bayleaves please..." She said as she looked in the pot that was cooking something. The doll floated through the air with a small vile of ground of leave and handed them to the witch. "You can go outside and play now." She said with a smile. The doll squealed with joy and took off outside then.

Looking down at the doll, Divine would nod and then head towards the house. Once there Divine would walk into the house, "Where is the girl?" he asked in a somewhat demanding tone.

She said, unfazed by the demanding tone. She looked back at the pot of soup and continued stirring "She is upstairs, I am close to getting her out of it." She said simply as she continued to stir the soup.

"Why are you trying to save her? She's served her purpose, and now she no longer have any use to me or Atticus."

To has a life like you, me, and Atticus as well as a destiny of her own. I do not wish to sit back and watch as she spends the rest of her days trapped in her own soul." She told him as she looked up at him.

That sounds un-demon to me." She said. She waved her hand slightly and the stove turned off "And exactly, she is a Shinigami, without them the world would have more chaos in it than anything else. Some order is needed to keep everyone alive, including you and me." Charlotte told him. "Her story is also starting to become familiar as well, I do not wish for her to suffer as I have." She said before smiling "And I have said that I am not the normal witch my darling."

Your reasoning behind helping her are truly irrational." Divine said as he took notice of her smile, but didn't react, "Don't agitate me any further. Hand me the girl and I will take my leave." he ordered.

Just hand her to me." he said as he seemed to have calmed down a bit, "Must you really force me to hurt you, like I did that other demon, that you knew." Divine said as he opened up a portal behind him, "There is nothing that I won't destroy. Even if it is you, Charlotte."

She told him "If you kill her, somehow, her father and Death will find out. They will most likely start a war against you if not the whole demon race and the witches will take Death's side due to the alliance. Along with the kishin that is now out there, I do not think you can afford such a risk. This option will also happen if you harm her in anyway which is why, for your's and Atticus' sake, I will not let you touch her." She told him as she grabbed his arm.
