((I posted the little thing about getting items in my story time section of my journal ninja ))
Hitachi skipped into the kitchen with Starr clinging to his back and playing with the hood of the pink rain poncho she had shoved on him. Lifting her head from where it rested on his shoulder, she stared at the others gathered in the kitchen and frowned at all of the bags and items that they were carrying and looked to Stalker when she announced that she had an axe.
"An axe?" Starr asked aloud, sliding off of Hitachi's back and peering around him. "What are you guys doing? Did something happen?"
Hitachi looked around the kitchen and waved happily to the others.

Stalker nodded slowly, "Yep, axe. Never a bad thing to bring, right?" It was one of the essentials, she thought. "Nothing, really. I'm just assuring someone that we're safe, is all." She replied smoothly. She flicked two fingers out in a greeting to the anthro that arrived with Starr.

Blue looked at Nightflame and Sei and laughed. "I think we'll be fine you two and I'm use your ability will be helpful at some point..... maybe...." She said shaking her head, "Well I'll have a hunting knife if Eros ever comes back with my bag. I wonder what's taking him so long."
She sighed and nodded as she listened to Corny. "That's what I'm thinking Corny. I doubt we'll get in any fights. This is more of a scavenger hunt than anything." She said shrugging, "As for who is out in the woods.... I have no clue." She looked at Kellan and groaned. "Ugh. He reminds me of Charon..... a pain in the butt!" She then looked at the map and shook her head. "I don't know but I doubt the map is to scale. It shouldn't take us too long though since we're not searching until we get there."
She then stared at Stalker with her jaw wide open. "An AXE?! What do you think we're going to run into out there?!" She said laughing, "Although who knows. Maybe we'll need to chop something down." She smiled at the box of matches. "That one was a good idea...... I should have a flashlight in my bag." She then muttered something about Eros still not being here.
She turned as Starr and Hitachi skipped in and started laughing. "Hey Starr! Just in time. We're going on an adventure. You see Wolfie has been putting pieces of this place's history together and she wants us to continue the scavenger hunt from before. It may have something to do with the Duos. We were just getting some stuff together and waiting to see if anyone else was going to join us. Wolfie and Tal are going to explore the house I think. You can come with us to the shack to explore with us or you can stay here and help them." She explained waving to Hitachi.
((I am so posting my moonlits in the next post..... this one is long enough. O.o))

Stalker scratched the back of her head with a confused chuckle, "Well...firewood, right? And there could be a bear!" She grinned like an idiot, as if that excused her having one. "And lions...and tigers...bears, oh my!" she laughed, more at herself than anything.

Nightflame sighed a bit still clueless on how that would help. "Alright. As long as I don't get in the way, then I'm happy." She then noticed as the others came in. Slightly smiling to herself she was happy that others would be around to help.
Seiphira breathed a sigh of relief. "Well at least we can probably use each other if something goes wrong."

Kellan looked at Stalker with one of his heads and rolled his eyes. Of course he was a duo! He wasn't one of those flying fuzz butt anthros-
He sighed when Hitachi walked in, shaking his head. Speak of the devil...
Flicking scoldingly at Kellan's head for the eye-roll, Corny looked at Blue and laughed sympatheticly. "Charon's too much like his mother, I'm sorry. But her eldest son here," She said giving Kellan a nudge, "-isn't usually this Chrissy-like, but I woke him up from a nap." She giggled until she realized Starr was here. "Hi Starr! Hitachi!" She jumped up and gave the anthro a hug. "How goes the guy with meh favorite accent?!" She asked with a grin, ignoring the duo snorting in the background.
Azure lifted her head and looked up at Seiphira with a tilt of her head. Then she smiled, barked once and wagged her tail, meaning that Sei and Nightflame didn't only have each other. Everyone else would be here for them too.

"The history of this place? Ha! And to think, I thought this was just some rickety old building. Not all that sure what you guys have found out so far but hm... " She tapped her finger against her chin and waved at Corny when she heard her call out a greeting but otherwise remained silent as she listened to the others for a moment in deep thought on what she wanted to do. Laughing at Stalker's comment, Starr turned to Blue. "I'll tag along for a little while with Tal and Wolfie and then perhaps I'll catch up with you guys. I definitely don't want to run into any lions, tigers or bears." She said to Blue, laughing. "Where is Tal anyway?"
Hearing Blue speak, Hitachi perked up and wagged his tail.
"Gov'nah! 'aven't seen you in--" He let out a yelp when he felt Corny throw herself at him in a hug. He hugged her back happily. "Oy, the lovely lass with orange 'air. I must say I'm great!" Hearing the duo snort, he stuck his tongue out at Kellan playfully and then listened to the others talking about some search they were going on. "That tickles me fancy. I might 'ave to tag along." Glancing at Starr, he flashed her a smile. "If yer goin' off somewhere else, I want to stay."

Eros walked into the kitchen and stopped when he saw everyone gathered there. Whoa.... He thought to himself. He weaved around everyone until he reached Blue. "Hey. Looks like quite a few people are joining us." He said to her, "Oh. Indy has your bag and look who else I found to join us." He waved a paw back to the back porch door.
Indy walked in carrying Blue's backpack. "So Blue I hear there's an adventure going on soon." He said grinning, "You can count me in when it comes to adventures." He held out her bag. "And all your stuff is in it."
Nanami followed Eros up to Blue and nudged her. "Well I must say from what Eros told us this is going to be interesting..... However I think I'll help out with the search here." She said looking around at the other moonlits. There were lots of different wolves here and a Duo and anthro. "So where are those of us who are staying here and exploring going to meet up?"
Kurogane walked in and hung back from everyone. His sword was at his side waiting for the moment he would need it. He hoped that something exciting and worth fighting would happen. He glared at Blue before nodding at her. He would stay here with Nanami. He looked at Hitachi and frowned/glared at the only other anthro here.
Blue laughed at Stalker and nodded. "Yeah there may be that." She said smiling and nodding at Corny, "Yeah he is.... and it's okay. I have moonlits that are worse than him." She grinned brightly at Hitachi. "I know Hitachi! Well it sounds like you get to hang out with me for this adventure!" She said turning to look at Starr, "Yeah.... I'm guessing that there is a lot of history here. Tal is in her room last I knew. She was getting some stuff together and so was Wolfie. I don't know if they're going to meet us here or in the Common Room with the couple of wolves that hung back there." She looked at Eros then her other moonlits and grinned. "Looks like I've got a good group from my pack." She said taking her bag from Indy, "I knew you wouldn't pass an opportunity like this up Indiana." She patted Nanami and looked at Kurogane giving him a look that said to look after her.

Nightflame lightly smiled back at Azure. She then went silent and listened to Blue as she wondered what they would be looking for exactly. She had missed the beginning of the conversation so she was hoping that she could catch up eventually.

Stalker smiled brightly back at everyone and proceeded to listen to what was said. She waved at Starreh, "See ya soon, then." She looked around at all the anthros and moonlit she didn't know and chuckled at herself, scratching behind Paine's ears. SHe'd find time to be social and introduce herself and Paine later.
Paine padded her feet happily; she was finally big now! Now no one could call her a pup, or little! Her tail wagged as she sat next to Stalker, though wondered how Meskhenet was doing...and what she'd say when they'd met again! She barked a greeting to the other wolves and anthros that flooded into the room. Except, of course, for Indiana Jones; there'd been something when she was younger that made her dislike him.

Carefully ignoring the anthro, and everyone else, Kellan set to preening his feathers. The only reason he had been in the room was because he and Chrissy had fought again. So now he was grumpy, and being called Chrissy-like had been like an insult to him. Deciding to calm down, he carefully preened, giving it more attention than cleaning neccessarily warranted.
Corny turned around. "Hey Starreh. When you go, could you keep an eye out for any of my wolves? At least one's that you know are mine. I don't know if any are going with Tal, but since I'm going this way, I can't really check." She looked with suprise at the variety entry of new moonlits. There were more anthros than she had expected. Too bad Peach had been the only anthro in her room at the time, or Corny'd have brought one too.
Azure sat quietly by the chair. It had been so long since she'd been in a group like this. It was almost overwhelming! She hoped they'd be off soon. The kitchen was getting rather full.

Starr glanced at Corny and listened to her request and then nodded.
"Sure sure, that sounds easy enough. None of them will get in trouble... I'll make sure of it." She glanced at Hitachi and eyed him warily when Hitachi looked to Kurogane. "And please could you make sure he doesn't decide to get into any trouble. If he does, you have my permission to pull his wings."
Starr looked to the others and waved happily.
"I guess I'll see you guys around and good luck." Giving Hitachi one last warning look and a tight hug, she rushed out of the room to go check the back porch.
(*Starr to the back porch for Tal/ Wolfie's Group; Hitachi stays*)
Hitachi looked up when he noticed the other anthro that had walked into the room and recognized him from the time when he had been chasing Lizzie and Kurogane had attacked him.
"Uh oh..." He shrank back out of sight behind Corny and waved at him before he was hugged by his human. He watched her leave and waved after her and then smirked at the others in the room and raised his hand at Nanami's question. "'ere love, I'm staying."

Blue waved bye to Starr as she left. "Well I think we're all ready to go... So follow me outside and I'll take you all to the shack." She said looking to her wolves that were going with Tal's group, "You guys behave.... and watch out for Gloriana. I think she was going to go with you guys."
Gloriana walked in when Blue said her name. "What?! I haven't done anything..... yet." She said glaring at her owner, "So where are we supposed to go?"
Eros rolled his eyes at Gloriana. "You are to wait out on the back porch for your group to assemble." He said to her. He then walked to the door and went outside.
Kurogane finally recognized Hitachi from the time he had attacked him and that crazy lady. "You..... you're that guy with the crazy lady." He said simply, "Looks like we won't be in the same group." Which was good or so he thought. He watched as the other anthro's owner ran outside and looked down at Nanami and Gloriana. "Let's go."
Nanami looked at Hitachi with her head tilted. "You're staying? Okay then...." She said looking at Gloriana and groaning, "She's coming with us?! This isn't going to be fun with her around! She's going to get in trouble the entire time!" She shook her head while frowning before heading out the door with Kurogane and Gloriana.
Indiana watched the others from Blue's group and shook his head. They were always like this. He sighed and then followed them out.

Seiphira nodded her head. "Alright then. Might as well get this show on the road. Or as one of my old friends said, road on the show." She then walked out of the room.
Nightflame sighed hoping she would be able to be useful in this adventure. She knew she could rely on others, but she didn't want to slow them down.

Stalker nodded swiftly, a late reaction; she was too busy being surprised by how many anthro's there were, patted Paine's shoulder, and turned on her heel after Blue, waving to Starr on the way out. The second she'd stepped from the room, a green blob pounced, sending her to the ground. Paine growled in alarm, but quiet when she saw who..or what...it was. Stalker let out a nervous laugh at Yoshi, then laughed once again at herself and patted his head. "Hi...Yoshi..." -_- You have GOT to be kidding me.....of all my moonlits that could have stalked me... Yoshi growled, as if reading her thoughts, then licked her and got off. Stalker got up as soon as she wasn't pinned and walked to the back porch with both of her wolves at her hip.
Paine KNEW she'd felt a precense, and a green flash that pinned Stalker simply proved it. In fear of her owner, she snarled, that is, untill she realized it wasn't a threat. She barked a greeting to Yoshi, much in the same tone as Stalker's laugh. Really? Just...seriously?!. She took her place flanking Stalker when she'd moved again, speaking to Yoshi, "So, that's who it was." She said reluctantly.
Yoshi decided it was safe to reveal himself and pounced on an unsuspecting Stalker, grinning. He was startled by Paine's warning, but remained with a slightly swaying tail where he was. He growled at the females' tones, but licked Stalker's cheek in forgiveness, got off, and followed the pair. He nodded at Paine several times, "Yosh!"
