Asuis arose from his sitting spot and brushed off his knees to properly address Melody, since this of course seemed to be turning into a morning conversation.

"Yeah things tend to get rather... Hectic around here around this time, just look for yourself." She said walking over to the edge of the balcony and looking over, at division of the towns Militia marching toward battle. "They are headed off to fight the water forces... the water forces constantly attack this place because of their advantage with the aquatic and frozen terrain.. however the northern tribes that live here are also just as adept with aquatic magic, and the polar bear tribe is so strong that they are consistently able to keep the aquatic forces at bay especially once they touch ground.. but just to be sure they intensify every aspect of their militia until the spell is a success, once the spell goes through many of the fighting water forces are frozen in ice and captured later." She stated calmly. "It is nice because they are strong enough to defend themselves... so since we don't have to be on the offensive right now would you like to go enjoy the festival with me?" She asked smiling with a slight blush.

"if I'm interrupting I can go do something else, I didn't mean to break your concentration, I am just bored today it is weird to have a day off and i dont know what to do." She laughed what do youdo on days like today.

Dimitri shrugged. He'd go with them. He was Alexander's escourt basically. So he had too go where ever alexander went.

"It would be nice if they did get the spell to work. All this fighting some times seems pointless." He shook his head then looked over at Rikku as he still leaned on the railing. Hearing her ask if he would like to enjoy the festival with her, he smiled as he was about to ask her the same thing. "I would like to." He said smiling, looking at her blush. He had always liked when people blushed, he didn't know why, but he just did.

"were would you like to go? We have about 1 hour until the sun sets, and about 5 hours until we have to meet at the square for the spell, we can go see the festival grounds, the carnival, the market, we can ride rides, or go eat... you pick." She said happily.

Killian led them out of the hotel and through the busy streets,everything covered in ice, slush or snow, and even down some staircases that were made entirely out of ice until they came into Very large opening, unlike the rest of the city it was almost warm, there was no snow ground here. "The entire ground is a mosaic here, it is a picture of our island and every detail of it, and in the center where the capital city should be there is a statue of the sacred tree, where celsius is there is a slowflake sculpture, where the dryrocks are, there is mountainous terrain, where terracotta is there is a statue of a bell, and towards the west of the island near the howling woods and great swamp there is a leaf statue, they all glow a different color when the spell is being cast, and people sit on them and they sit on the roofs around here, and the sky goes crazy with colors, from all the energy around... it is amazing!" Killian said excited. "Alexander what does the place look like to you right now... is it the same as everywhere else or can you tell this area is special?"

"So... We have six hours to do what ever we want?" Jaden said as he thought about it for a moment.
Six hours could be a long time, or very short depending on what they did. There where two things that he wanted to do the most, and that was to go with Rikku to the Carnavel, and then the rides. But he knew that they would have to go eat some time, but eating before a ride could have disastrous results. He also wanted to watch the sunset for a while longer, but he could always do that at another time. There was also the market place, in which you could get some items that where never sold anywhere else. Maybe he could find something that Rikku would like.
He came to a conclusion on which order he wanted to do things, mainly because his stomach let out a small growl, causing him to blush slightly. "We can go eat first and walk around the festival grounds as we do so, then go to carnavel, or the market, maybe both, then the rides." He said as he pulled down his hood, and looked over at Rikku.
The eating shouldn't take too long, maybe about 45 minutes at most, then the market and carnavel should take at most two hours, leaving them two hours left for the rides. Maybe at the top of the Ferris wheel (Do these exist here? lol), he could tell her what he though about her.
"If that sounds good with you, then let us be on our way to not miss anything." With that, he walked over towards the door, and opened it and smiled again as he pointed his other hand inside. "After you."

"Sounds good to me!" She said as she walked in. She looked over at the waiter, who looked at her and promptly moved to find her a table. "I always feel kind of bad when I go out." She said to jaden modestly. "I feel like everyone feels like they need to give me special treatment." She said as they were led to their table and sat down and the waiter took their orders and promptly walked away, to get their food. "So what is your favorite carnival ride?" SHe asked, the carnival was definately the part she was most excited about.

As they walked over to the table, Jaden listened to Rikku speak. Hearing her say something about not wanting to be treated differently when she went out with others, he wanted to say something, but there where too many things for him to say. "I've never really been through that, but I would imagine it would get on ones nerves after a while."
Sitting down at the table, he folded his fingers together and placed them on the top of the table as he waited for their food. "Too many to choose from. Carnivals happen so few times a year, its not easy to choose a favorite one. But if I did have to choose, I would say the Ferris wheel. Nice view of the carnival. What about yours?"

Alexander looked around "There is something different here, energies from all the places you mentioned Killian are present in each symbol. Each of them nearly bursting with all the energy. But they seem too be waiting for the appropiate time too release all their energy" Alexander says, it certainly was interesting too see.
Dimitri just stood quietly, he didn't like crowds, and it showed quiet clearly.

"I like the ferris wheel alot too, it is very calmiing and kind of romantic." She said with a slight dreamy smile.", but i am also very fond of faster moving rides like roller coasters, and the Yoyo Ride!" She stated as their food arrived and she began eating. "and I just love the whole ambiance of the carnival, people are so happy... and I love the sweets!, hey jaden, whats your favorite food?" She said happily, remembering when she was little and came here

"Western Leaf, and Eastern Peak,

Killian smiled. "That is the first part of the spell we will being contributing to tonight, you repeat the first part over and over again until the tree finally lights up, and once the tree lights up there is a second of silence, and you begin the second part:
THe ground is thawing, turning brown,
please bring the blanket of winter's Down.
The Glaciers melting, sinking fast,
build them up so they can last.
The Ice again begins to weep,
Freeze it until icicles creep.
Again you repeat this part until the Tree begins to glow a whitish color, and when the tree begins to glow, the chanting stops and you pray and wish." He stated calmly. "You can pray or wish for anything you want, and the love and desire from our wishes powers the rest of the spell. Our wishes and our prayers.... our Hope is the flame that ignites the fuse of the spells." He stated. "because in actuality we are casting about 4-6 different spells, repeatedly... Normally you would feel tired after such a strenuous task, but something about the mana and energy in the area makes it so you don't die from exhaustion." He stated nodding matter of factly. "Alexander, miracle's are common during this spell... and if someone prays or wishes that you could see this... you may very well be blessed with the power of vision for a brief period of time, or demitri if someone wishes that we could all leave behind our demons and enjoy this night... you might very well find yourself unable to communicate with Rellik for a little while." He stated with a smile. "there is seriously nothing like this experience."

Jaden started to eat as the food arrived at the table, and listened to Rikku as she spoke again. He didn't know what the Yoyo ride was, but he didn't ask about it as he could figure out what it was when he saw it later.
All of the carnival food was good in Jaden's opinion. It happened so rarely, that he tried to enjoy all of them. But one really stood out for him. The caramel apple. Sweet, and juicy at the same time, yet chewy due to the caramel. There was also the cotton candy, so fluffy, airy and sweet. Swallowing what was in his mouth, he took a drink of water. "Hmmm... That's a hard one... Candy apples are always good, but cotton candy is really good." He thought for a moment, then realized that it wasn't food that he said, but more like candy. "But then again, that's candy more than food." He laughed.

"Candy counts as food! it is just sweeter, and besides i just thought of my favorite too! I love funnel cake, it is one of my favorite things to eat I tend to have a bit of a sweet tooth." She stated as she finished her plate and the Waiter came by with the bill. "Are you ready to go? the sun should be setting and the carnival is always more fun in the dark."
