Sebastian’s gaze went wide at the sight of a figure suddenly scrambling onto the battle field in the direction of the frozen Beedrill. "Jay!" He unconsciously shouted in concern at the sight, gaze shifting to the Ludicolo in a panic. It seemed to busy dancing in glee over its accomplishment before attention shifted which meant if anything, it wasn’t going to attack. Well, that was good at least.
He focused back on Jay again, watching a moment and feeling his heart drop a bit at the sight. He looked… devastated. Like, painfully so. Sebastian honestly couldn’t help but wince at the sight. It… it just didn’t look good. It also wasn’t good that he was out there on the field like that with all these dangerous blizzards going on, but was Sebastian really one to talk when it came to acting recklessly? No. So he needed to shut up on that. Still, he was alarmed about it all, but before he could open his mouth to call out to his friend again as he moved back towards the crowd, he found himself having to deal with his own case of frozen pokemon.
His attention snapped sharply at the sound of a sharp ‘Whimsi!’ cry, spotting Gin pretty much being flung through the air by the harsh blizzard wave. His eyes grew wide even more as she suddenly formed into her own block of ice, tumbling through the air before slamming rather roughly to the ground. "Gin no!" Sebastian winced, immediately rushing over to her aid. That damn blizzard was just a nightmare…

Rose blinked as MD said it was a joke. "Ohhh! Heheh" Rose chuckled. She should have known better. Surely selling pieces of souls was just something someone couldn't do, huh? However, it did make her wonder how he got magic abilities, then. Maybe it was something he was just born with or something. Either way, the conversation moved on.

I feel like i haven't been doing very well recently, though...heh." she commented when MD insisted that it was even more impressive that she got those four gym badges without having had trainer school under her belt. She wasn't so sure, but she wasn't going to dwell on it. Sebastian dropped down next to Gin the moment he arrived, absently setting the Igglybuff down next to him and receiving an indignant ‘Iggly!’ cry for it. Honestly, he couldn’t focus on that at the moment, instead slinging his bag from his shoulder as he began to frantically dig around in it. He gave the Ludicolo a glance just in case, noting that it had taken up a sort of protective stance for the time being. He needed to help Gin, the poor thing. Frantically he dug through his bag, nearly chucking half the contents out in the process. He had so much junk… come on something had to be useful-
There! He still had some of those full restores. If it had been a moment to celebrate he would’ve but for now he needed to stay focused. Momentarily he fumbled the bottle before turning the spray on Gin and applying it quickly. In no time at all, the horrific ice prison melted away and set the Whimsicott free with a shiver that soon subsided as she was healed up and fully restored to tip top shape. Sebastian heaved a sigh of relief, giving the cotton fluff a concerned look as she came too.
"Gin! Are you alright?" He inquired with a tone laced with honest concern. It took Gin a moment to come around, blink and shaking the wet remains of frost off and adjusting the glasses on her head before she gave him a reassuring chirp. Oh thank goodness. He was already reaching for her pokeball though, to return her to safety when she squirmd her way onto her feet, giving him an indignant chirp in refusal. Apparently, she could tell what he was going for and she did not approve. Sebastian looked surprised and uncertain.
"Gin, no you can’t. That blizzard-" He started up, interrupted by another chirp from the Whimsicott. Apparently, she wasn’t going to go out just yet. And that was no surprise… she was a fighter. A big one, if past battles had taught him anything. Still though, he was worried about the after damage of such a powerful attack. He … he couldn’t stop her though. And this thing was a menace….
"Al… alright." He finally remarked. Gin grinned and chirped happily, lunging at him and giving him a hug to the leg before turning back to the Ludicolo with a determined expression. Igglybuff was of course adamantly annoyed that she had been so rudely discarded. Well okay, that was a bit much. It wasn’t as though Sebastian had just tossed her away in favor of checking on the fluffy pokemon but she was rather miffed that his attention was diverted from her to the Whimsicott, her cheeks puffing out in agitation. She didn’t see what the big deal was, it wasn’t as though Gin had just died. She was just turned into a giant ice cube. What was the problem?
Well, there was a battle going on. Being a giant ice cube didn’t help. And soon it became clear to the young pink ball that Sebastian’s focus was out of concern rather than any sort of favoritism. Sebastian’s things were still sprawled out in his bag and Igglybuff decided to take an interest in them while she still could. She noted that her lord’s bag was absolutely filled to the brim with all kinds of things. There were berries, and shiny looking donut things and items as far as the eye could see. It was just crazy! Was he hoarder? He was probably collecting as many treasures as possible in order to strengthen his legion. Though, she did note some of them seemed to not be holding anything…

Kezia fell to the ground with another lump. Her eyes fixated on the Ludicolo. It turned it's sights on her this time, finally landing a hit with Giga drain. Feeling some energy sap away from her body, the fox snarled. "What you trying to do? Make up for your lost left overs? Pssh, that was a tickle!" The fox grinned, leaping forward, she took it upon herself to initiate her own attack. Flipping down her shades over her snout, the Zoroark swiped at the air with her other paw, sending a blast of dark energy towards the Ludicolo. Wasn't as strong an attack as her Bounce was, but it did it's job. Thus far she'd been pretty focused on the battle, but as she leaped back to distance herself from the Ludicolo she noticed something from the corner of her eye. Turning her gaze, her narrowed eyes were hidden by the sun glasses. That was.... It was! She knew he was here! "ZK...." The fox muttered with a hushed voice.... seeing him again... it meant she'd be able to make amends... and apologize for the way she'd acted before hand.

MD smiled and nodded as Rose seemed to understand that he was joking. He’d keep in mind for future jokes to be clearer, just in case. He certainly didn’t want to go scaring her off or making her believe the wrong things. That was just… wrong.

For a moment he thought it was Jubilee smacking him for some unknown reason, though as he was raising a hand to feel for a potential lump a pokeball plopped into it instead. Gin flipped and maintained herself floating in the air, bracing herself against another blizzard attack. Fortunately it didn’t come as the opponent seemed to focus instead on draining a nearby Zoroark for some energy. That was fine by her of course and without hesitation she flipped herself back through the air unleashing yet another vicious torrent of winds down on the Ludicolo. Kezia leaped away some to avoid most of the current, but she couldn't maintain her footing for long and eventually met her back to a stall. Thankfully, the stall was sturdy and it managed to stay standing. Shaking out her fur some, the fox narrowed her eyes as she stomped her way back to the battlefield. "I don't need a bath thank you very much." She snarled. With another swipe of her paw she unleashed yet another black streak of darkness at the dancing Pokemon.

Gin chirped in surprise as a flood of water suddenly appeared on the field, attempting to air tumble out of the way of it only to get smashed down. It didn’t hurt all that much luckily, given her typing, be she did find herself drenched and sputtering out water that’d been caught in her mouth. Ew! Shaking off what she could, the Whimsicott focused her gaze back on the Ludicolo again, cheeks puffing out a bit in agitation. If only this thing would go down! It was becoming a bit of an annoyance. With another loud, defiant chirp she whipped up the winds again to smash against the giant pokemon.
