Kai looked around seeing the familiar MFHS, He gave a sigh before folding his wings dropping to the ground with a graceful, thud. "Well riser looks like your not a complete psycho path ... still a psychopath ... just not a complete one." He chuckled turning into his wingless form walking over to the riser. "enlighten us on the subject then riser ... what did you have to do to save us?"

Ialo stared at Riser, not a single distinct or obvious emotion showing on his face. Then again, sometimes it could be rather difficult to identify the facial expressions of a dragon. He crept forward, and stood before Riser. ".... Thank you, so much," the dragon said. "I'll do as you say - but right now, there are people who need to see me." Ialo disappeared in a moment, but his aura quickly flashed back up within the school.

"LIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ambrose's heartstopping scream had the birds of the forest stopping their song for a moment before it picked up again as the sound echoed throughout the area.

The source of the scream was busy running like a madman, ripping though the halls, subconsciously remembering where Lia's room was, seeing as he was in no state to think something like that through.

"LIA!!!!!!!!!" He slid around a corner, lost his balance, but caught himself and pushed to his feet again, never slowing down. She was there, in the hall, just outside her door, staring at him as though he were a madman.

"Ambrose, what's gotten into you?" She demanded, a bit panicked by the desperation in his voice. When he merely ran to her, gripped her arms so hard there were sure to be bruises, she yelped as she looked into his eyes, dark and desperate.

"Danni...Find Danni. You have to find Danni!" He managed to get out, and immediately her nose scrunched up, and she tried to pull away.

"Honestly, Ambrose, we're on vacation. Why would you want to-" She cut off when he stuffed a piece of paper in her face, and she read the two words for a moment before pushing it away, raising a brow.

"And? She apologized. She does it often enough when it comes to you, though usually she bothers to say it. Why should I bother-" Once more she was cut off when Ambrose took her by the arms again, shaking her, not in violence, never that, but in panic.

"Find her, damn it, Lia! You need to find her. For the love of God, for once in your life do something without needing it to benefit yourself!" He said, and though her eyes widened at his words, she let out a breath, flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"Oh, very well then. Step back, would you, and give me some room." She said grandly, and he took a step back as she flexed her fingers, then weaved a spell in the air that had the air shifting, then going hazy a bit.

"Locate and show me Isadora Danni Rinaldi." She commanded in a clear voice, and as the picture formed, her breath caught even as Ambrose groaned in anguish and dropped to his knees. The only thing shown in the image was a dark, lovely casket raised on an alter of stone beside a stone bearing their sister's name. And there, standing hip deep in a hole in the earth, was their father and the school cook, shovels in hand as tears ran unheeded down their faces.

"No...No, no, no...Izzy, Izzy, no..." Ambrose chanted, rocking on his knees, his head bowed in sorrow as the tears started, then ran down his cheeks while Lia stood there in disbelief, merely staring as her father choked on a sob and threw another shovel full of dirt over his shoulder.

Riser lay still aside from his ragged breathing. It seemed for several moments as though Kai's question had not registered within the strange confines of his mind, but suddenly he threw his hands up and slammed them into the tiles; when the dust had settled, two large holes remained in the concrete.
"Silverwing..." there seemed to be something in his voice, almost resentment, but not quite hatred. "I'll have you know, were the dragon not so fond of you, I would not have spared you that demise."
He paused, as if trying to find the proper words. "The boy, and the feathers...they were weapons, explosives like I've never seen. Picture mankind's most destructive weapon; these were magnitudes above. The pressure, it wiped the entire city clean..." That foul liquid was still drip drip dripping from his tattered lips. "When I came to, there was nothing left but rubble. Everyone was dead, ******** everyone."
He cracked his neck back and forth, and slowly began to reset his dislocated and shattered fingers, each snapping back into place with a sickening crunch as the God's body repaired itself.
"Temporal Rejection. Do those words have meaning to you?" He looked up briefly. "Of course not. Kai, those bombs work on the principle of Spatial Rejection. The 'explosion' is really nothing more than an intensely powerful burst of spiritual pressure. That pressure literally wipes everything in the blast radius from existence, flushes it from reality. Temporal Rejection is a rejection of an event happened or an event happening. I scrounged together as much energy as I could and literally ripped myself out of the flow of time and back to the very instant in which you were all headed off to meet the reaper. I took the blast Kai. I took the entirety of that blast to save the dragon, to save the others, to save you, to save that foolish city."
He stared at the tiles once again, he was beginning to shake once more. "Kai...my body will heal; it hurts like nothing you can imagine, but it will heal. But, the thing that frightens me most, is what I never would have known had I not gone back to save you all. Krauser...he wasn't there. Time was stopped, completely halted, and he just wasn't there. He's still out there."

((Well s**t, Ialo missed something big. The moron.))

"Yeah, the complete destruction of all things in the blast radius? Not that thought provoking, Now what IS thought provoking is, why did you even give two shakes of a s**t about anybody but yourself?," He crouched down watching Riser struggles, A hint of satisfaction grew in his chest from watching it, "sorry, after a few years on the plains I've gotten a few sides of gods, and city saving heroes ain't one that shows up very often. turns out I found it in the last place I expected it ... you."

Kai simply shrugged standing up dusting his armor off. "Hey we may even turn out to be friends ... well at least two people who aren't out to kill each other ... actually ,come to think of it, which riser are you again? there are so many of you I can't keep track." He scratched his beard pondering his question.

Chris woke up with a start on one of the MFHS's beds, he shook his head clear wondering what had happened to him. "I thought I was dead ... oh well."

"Oh shut your mouth smartass. It doesn't matter either way right now, I can't change my form until I can regenerate that mask."
He stood up, bones creaking and joints popping. As he dusted himself off he looked at himself, as if to reassure him what form he was trapped in. "Well, this should be...interesting. I haven't had the physical limitations of a mortal human in thousands of years, I've actually forgotten what it feels like."
He coughed and hacked until he had forced the last of the ooze from his throat; he spat it out slobbishly onto the grass nearby.
"So, how about we go see if the others are alive still."

Kai flashed a grin and nodded, "god it's been years since I walked on the school grounds without tripping over derbies... it looks nice." He chuckled walking towards the school, the sound of his plate boots seemed to echo themselves as they hit the tile walkway. "hmm where is everyone, it's like a funeral passed through here." He muttered to himself looking over the school grounds.

Athena stared at the container. The container stared back. She glared at it. It did not flinch. She growled and attacked it.

The pasta within was finally revealed to her. She started gulping it down with great joy, relishing in the delicious taste of cold spaghetti. Mmmmmmm... so freaking good. It tasted like cold heaven. Even ice cream could never get this close. Never ever.

Suddenly, she frowned. There was a metallic, ringing smell in the air, and it was tainting her precious pasta. What the hell? She took a moment to sniff again and--

Blood. What...?

Ialo had this little useful trick his mother taught him from the very first time he turned into his dragon form. Use a charm to create a tiny pocket dimension, just large enough to stash your clothes, and you'd never have to worry about trying to be decent after a transformation.

Looking decent was another matter. Ialo was so wound up from the fight that it took four times to successfully return to his human form. It was shoddily controlled at that, in his rush to check on the school and find Luna. That was likely the reason the few students in the halls at this late hour were staring at him - the Headmaster was covered in blood, reeked of lab chemicals and dark magic, and wearing jeans and a t-shirt, a far cry from the suits and ties he was known for wearing every day.

Alec didn't even have time to register what had happened. All he knew is that one minute he was standing outside the complex with Luna, watching as the local police were starting to assemble, and the next minute he was back in his classroom. Alec gasped slightly and sat up straight in his chair (which he now found himself in) and immediately began to stretch out his senses to see if anything was amiss. But after a few minutes Alec had found everyone that was at the Enlil Corp. complex, and apart from a few nicks and cuts everyone seemed to be alright. Alec let out a long sigh of relief as he sat back in his chair slowly. A soft chirp came from Alec's right, and when he turned to look he saw Onyx sitting on his perch looking at him worriedly. Alec smiled and patted the small wyvern's head. "It's alright buddy, we're all safe." Onyx whistled happily at the news, and Alec couldn't help but chuckle slightly as well.

But as Alec sat back in his seat, he couldn't help but wonder just what had happened back at Enlil Corp., and who it was that had saved them all apparently. And more importantly still, if Krauser was still out there somewhere.

Athena creeped oh-so-stealthily out into the main hallway, spaghetti sauce all around her mouth and a few strands hanging from it as she tried to eat while walki--I mean sneaking. She followed the scent of blood, which was very soon accompanied by... dark magic?

She frowned and let out a very ungraceful 'what the hell?' upon realizing that it was Ialo--the Headmaster--who stank so bad.

Ial whirled around on hearing someone's voice. He saw the student, and he stood there rather dumbly, red stains on his shirt ever-increasing in radius.

Athena. Her name is Athena, a voice prodded him.

"A-Athena," Ialo choked out. "I-Actually, no, I don't have to explain myself to you, do I?" He paused, not quite waiting for Athena to answer. "Are all the students in?" he asked harshly.
