Ed thought for a moment then shrugged, deciding to be lazy. “I don’t remember. It probably wasn’t that important because I can’t remember.” Another motive, another motive. Nope, nothing.

She couldn't help but glare at him for that statement, but just sighed and shook it off. "You tell me it's okay to ask questions, yet... you forget what you originally talked about that lead to my question." She wasn't mad at him, she couldn't really considering she has done the same many times before, she was just a tad annoyed.

“Just because you ask the question doesn’t mean that I am going to answer.” He walked towards her, stopping right in front of her and looked right into her green eyes. It helped that they were about the same height. At that internal thought Ed’s eye ticked. “Anything else you want to ask?”, he asked with an eye brow raised.

"That's why I don't like asking too many questions. But you're the one who's telling me it's okay to ask questions." She replied softly. When he walked up to her and glanced into her eyes, it took a lot for her not to blush at it. When he asked if she had anything else to ask, she hooved the ground embarrassedly and shook her head. "N-no, not really."

Ed shook his head, eyes closed in exasperation, and his hair flying form shoulder to shoulder. “Its just that maybe I don’t want to answer some of the questions. You can ask them though.” He smiled at her, giving a little laugh. He was teasing her, he knew, but he just couldn’t help it.

She tossed her head in a slight huff. "Well... what's the point in asking you a question if there's not even a guarantee it'll be answered?" She never met a stallion so confusing before, but yet, he was pretty interesting to be around.

He gave an over-dramatic sigh, but we all know that on the inside he was laughing. “Well, sometimes you have to take that chance. Not everything is going to turn out the way you want it to be.” A smirk fell onto his face and now he was waiting to see her reaction.

Charl's cheeks puffed in slight annoyance but it quickly passed as she moved up to him. With a slight smirk, she lowered her head down and quickly shoved him back into the water. "Well... and sometimes you have to take the chance of the consequences." She told him, holding her head up high and giggling.

Edward came up sputtering, anger in his eyes. He had just got out and was almost fully dry! Annoyance crept up inside him, frustrated that he would now have to dry out all over again. He peeked over at Charlamagne and let a small smile appear on his face. He was glad that she was feeling better at his expense, but before she did look rather sad. Sometimes, you have to make sacrifices. He walked slowly out of the water and shook his body, making water spray everywhere, including the giggling mare.

She giggled a bit more as he climbed out of the lake before calming down with a sigh. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help it." She said with some last minute giggles. A squeal quickly left her when he splattered water all over her when he shook off, moving away to get out of the path of the droplets. He seemed so serious, he needed to 'chill out' some. With that, she moved back to him and taking hold of the small braid in his mane in her teeth, gave it a small tug before running off in the opposite way.

Sure she couldn’t, Ed thought, her body must’ve done it by accident. When she came up and pulled his braid he flung his head to look at her in disbelief. What was wrong with her? Now she was running away? Not acceptable! He took off after her, never really catching her but always behind her. What was she doing? Was she angry? Probably, his mind answered for him, she is a girl after all. Girls were always emotional. It was due to…he stopped his brain from going down in that direction. He sped up a bit, coming beside her.

Charl kept running, swerving side to side playfully as she looked back to see if he was following. She smiled widely when she saw that he was, tossing her head happily. She tried her best to stay ahead of him, but when she saw him coming up beside her, she giggled and shifted to him to give him a nudge before turning in the opposite direction again.

She pushed him. She freaking pulled up beside him and gave a small shove, the push, and now was speeding away from the crime! Okay, so maybe he was over reacting, but then again, he thought he wasn’t. Giving a huff in anger, he gave a sharp turn, so sharp he almost fell, and sped after her, closing in and leaving very little distance between them.. She was very swift, and he put a little more effort into trying to catch up. Although, it wasn’t like he was trying that hard.

Geez... even as he chased after her, he seemed so serious. She looked back to see him quickly gaining on her, now starting to run at full speed. She knew she would get tired soon, but she would prolong this little game as long as it took for him to catch her himself, without having her slow down first.

She was fast, Ed thought, willing his legs to move faster. He could admit, now, that she was tiring him out. On the bright side, his coat was getting drier by the second. Within a few second he was almost running shoulder to shoulder with her and he turned his head to smile at her, trying to move in front of her. How could he make her stop? Shouting? Let’s give it a try. “Hey, stop for a minute!”
