Tagra Nar Keith Olberman, on Countdown, mentioned something similar, if I remember correctly. His solution: Harry gives up his magical abilities to remove the scar and horcrux. I actually heard another interesting possibility. A horcrux is essentially a piece of your/or in this case Voldie's soul, correct? And what do dementors do?

Why does everyone think Snape is gonna be redeemed?
He is a scheming, heartless b*****d of the first order.

Lady Willow Black Why does everyone think Snape is gonna be redeemed? He is a scheming, heartless b*****d of the first order. I don't know really. For me, I think I'm more inclined to trust Dumble than to take Snape's actions at face value. And despite being killed, I think Dumble may have known something about Snape that we don't. Plus, I don't see why everyone on the good side has to be genuinely good, per say.

Danti So. Um. I finished reading. ... "Deathstick"? Isn't that what cigarettes were called in Star Wars Episode II?

In other news, I thought we were going to find out what Dudley saw when the dementors attacked. I could've just made the mistake of lumping that in with Snape's Patronus though.

I was hoping to find more out about the future, besides who marries who and what the children are named. More about what kinds of jobs one had taken, because that was ones a big deal in one of the previous books, for instance. More about Hogwarts. Dark art teacher anyone? Doesn't exist anymore for the biggest dark wizard is gone anyway? Who is the new head?

I was glad though to find out more about Snape and his side of the story. I always thought he might fancied Lily.

Sandraugiga I was glad though to find out more about Snape and his side of the story. I always thought he might fancied Lily. omg. I know. And it brought a WHOLE new light as to why the scene that he called his worst memory was his worst- it was not because of the skivvy showing, but because it was his greatest regret ;u; Ever since that scene i'd had a vague feelng, but after the sixth book? Oh, yes. I so guessed. XD I didn't expect PETUNIA to know about Snape, though. That was pretty damn awesome.

Using the same Patronus as her, now that I overlooked until it was flat out mentioned.

I thought we were supposed to find out why Lily was so special. Was the whole thing with Snape supposed to be why?
