hoshinoame If I had to decide, I believe she is somehow alive, but with terrible injuries. Maybe she and the other Kioshi warriors are taken prisoner somewhere in the Fire Nation. The only thing that's leading me to believe that she is dead is that Avatar doesn't give you a clear idea if someone's dead (besides Yue and Zhao). well, even zhao still isn't confirmed. there are many very convincing points but no one outright said. "hey look he's dead."

I see your point, so just because no one outright said Suki was dead doesnt necessarily mean she's alive?

I hate to say it, but if it's Azula we're talking about here, she wouldn't give her victims a fighting chance. Nor is she that generous enough to give them mercy by letting them live battered and broken. As much as I hope that they are only injured somewhere at a safe place, that nagging feeling that Azula made sure they would not contact anyone gets to me.
And I also ponder on the theory of Sokka and Toph. She is technically only younger than him by four years (he's sixteen, right?), plus I think it is really cute how they are able to snap back at each other with cynical remarks. Like a comedy duo. mrgreen

Alright, let me see here... *clicks tongue thoughtfully* Far as I'm concerned, Azula is definitely far from merciful - but if Suki is indeed proud and was killed for her outfit as opposed to handing it up, wouldn't said outfit have some sort of scorch marks/holes/whatever upon it considering direct lightning-blows, etc. from Ms. Fire Princess Chica? Aang's did when he got hit with such an attack.
She might have been able to flee (though chances of her leaving behind fellow warriors are slim)...
xD In a short, it's a confusing little situation that will (likely and hopefully) be cleared up in the near future.

I just don't think thats the Avatar way to kill off a charecter of such importance(to another charecter).
