I believe my first was the second episode of season 1, or when the Ninth Doctor arrived. The one where they went back and met Charles Dickins. I'm ashamed to say I dont remember the name of the episode. I have gone back, however, to watch the very first episode of the very first Doctor! Dispite being black and white, I liked it!

Loveless99 I believe my first was the second episode of season 1, or when the Ninth Doctor arrived. The one where they went back and met Charles Dickins. I'm ashamed to say I dont remember the name of the episode. Actually that was the third episode of Series One (new series). It was called "The Unquiet Dead" and was written by Mark Gatiss.

The first episode I saw of the new series was...the first episode of the new series! My first classic episode, I believe, was...well, I can't remember. Logopolis, I think.

Well, I think I watched one of the older one's first. They were all in this mine, and there was many, many colourful Daleks there. And one of them fell down a shaft, such fun. The first one I remember distinctly is the finale of series 1, new Dr Who. Good, damn times.

The first one I ever saw was the first one with David Tennant so it was the '05 Christmas special.

I remember seeing bits of classic episodes when I was younger and it used to be on after the shows I watched after school... I never watched a full episode then but I do remember seeing bits of one episode with Tom Baker, Leela, K9 and lasers... and another, or possibly the same episodes with some monsters/aliens coming out of the water on a beach
the first full episode I watched was Rose, I wasn't around when classic episodes were being made or screened regularly, and I don't live in the UK, so that didn't help... I did see a bit of New Earth before I started watching the show...
I have watched some classic episodes, although I don't remember what I watched first, I have seen Ghost Light, some of Robot, some of The Arc in Space and some of the first episode with Romana and the episode in which Romana regenerated

I'm a newer fan. I saw Doctor Who's first new series episode, with no idea what to expect, as I didn't know anything about it except that it was a good part of British entertainment-culture and that all the british writers I loved watched it as a child or knew what it was.
I love how much of a spazz the ninth was.

My first episode was probably... Fear Her, a Tenth Episode, in a marathon last year... No, that was the end of the marathon. Let me think... Tooth and Claw???

My first episode was Rose. Alas, I am a newbish Whovian.
However, I only got through the second season of the new Doctor Who because the site I was watching it on got taken down.
Now, as for a favorite episode? It has to be Blink, I heard about it when I saw a girl with her avi as the Weeping Angel and rushed to Youtube to watch. It gave me the creeps and it was just a wonderful hour to watch.

the first episode i ever saw (technically) was The Shakespeare Code, the second half where Tennant gets his back thumped by Martha LOL!!!! Then I watched Gridlock and I thought that was really sad at the end... crying
i've been watching the modern series backward. First, i finished Series 3, then i went on to watch series 2, then series 1. I don't know whether i want to watch the classic series because apparently they weren't as funny...and i still haven't finished watching series 2 and 1! i rented them from a video store and they were missing volumes 4 and 5 of series 1 and 3 and 4 for series 2 crying . Series 3 i obviously watched on the TV so that was fine. blaugh
long live the Doctor! (and Doctor Who!)
