I really enjoy how people think they've seen a vast amount of horror flicks, when really they've only seen the new and improved horror, like The Ring and The Grudge. Those movies suck balls. Let me again emphasize the suck.

You wanna cringe, watch Mordum. Some guy ******** a dead toddler in a bathtub and the bathroom walls have s**t smeared all over them. It's all fake but it's still CREEPY. There's a clip of it on strangeland.com:

I know it's got nothing to do with it, but the movie Strangeland by Dee Snider ******** my s**t up.

I can't remember what the book was called, but it was about finding doorways and going to alternate dimensions. And there were these cultists who go through the different dimensions and basically kill anyone and everyone from other worlds. So they capture the protagonist and hook him up to what they call the "holy harp", which they drill holes in your molars, and connect the strings of the harp to it, and they drill different holes in different places like his knees (and even his p***s), and when they start playing the harp the vibrations strike the nerves.

Holy crap, that whole sequence was a cringer.

There are a lot of things that freak me out. There are a lot of things that scare me but what makes me cringe? What makes me squirm in my seat and hit the fast forward button? Two things. Being skinned alive orexcessive overeating or excessive forcefeeding like in Se7en or Thir13een Ghosts. I think it stems from me being fat and worrying about weight and when I see these people eat to an excessive deadly degree. It makes me sick and honestly, just typing about it makes me wanna vomit. >_> Such weird things to set me off.

anything involving fingernails.
in i think land of the dead some zombie scratched on a wall or something and her fingernails popped off *shutters*
and in the ring (am ver.) during the video tape you see someone tail a nail (hardware) and shove it up their finger and their finger nail pops off. that was horrible.

I changed my mind.
I can stand obscene amounts of inhumane, horrific violence, but the one thing that I always cringe and hide under the covers for is that scene in 28 Days Later.
Its also an act shared in 28 Weeks Later, the one where someone has their eyes crushed out by someone's thumbs.
I can handle flesh ripping, blood drinking, corpse mutilating scenes, yet that is one that I never can handle. xD

the first movie i remember making me cringe,

was in 'IT'. after all the kids are grown ups, and that guy's <******** mole!!

heheh .. no, it was the part in pet sematary when the zombie kid
cuts the old farmer's achille's tendon.
it gets me every time too.
ill bet i've seen at least 4 cheezy flicks where the tendon gets sliced, bitten out, or torn. and every time i gotta look away.

incidentally,
the part of the book pet sematary that describes the guy who shows up in the main dude's first dream,
literally made me nauseous. first and only time a book made me feel ill.
(it was in 4th grade, i guess)

Someone intentionally breaking something of theirs, i.e. in The Orphan - the girl breaks her own arm in a vice, couldn't watch. Kathy Bates breaking James Caan's ankles in Misery - can't watch them scene. Had to return Hostel because the guy tried to walk after getting his achilles' tendon cut. Literally stopped the movie and bought something else. The needle scene in Saw II was upsetting, but not quite as bad.

There are a few scenes from movies that have made me cringe but I'll list one, okay there is this scene in the movie 'The Beyond' where the plumber is in the basement and a zombie gouges the plumbers eyes out with it's fingers ack! sweatdrop but really awesome!

Things that make me cringe in a normal horror movie would be: cutting the tendon and toes and fingers. This is just a normal reaction for me.

But what really gets me in horror movies are Cannibals http://media.photobucket.com/image/cannibals gnaw/eavanknown/Gnaw.jpg , I usually can't watch any movie with cannibals it makes me really really sick *I'm getting sick just thinking about it*.... Another thing that makes me cringe *thank god it's not in too many Horror movies* are T-rex. I hate them!!!! My father traumatize me when I was little right before Jurassic Park came out . He showed me the movie Carnosaurs and I have been afraid of T-rexes since.

Or throw her in a pit of zombies and watch her get ripped apart.

No scary movies makes my stomach turn.

The leg-shaving scene in Cabin Fever. It makes me cringe and nearly vomit every time. I still love that movie.

Spiders and squids. I dont get sick usually while watching horror movies. Saw 3 where the guy is forced to be in the pit while the rotten pigs are liquified and thrown on him made me ill. I can't watch rape scenes in horror. Loogies and vomit make me sick too.
