Rendo listend and sniffed greatly as he came out of the bush his look had change since he saw it, it was smaller then it sounded. "It sounded bigger with the rabbit..." He said looking back at it. He then looked at the two. "You can come out, it went to the other side." He said calmly as he sat down and listen to make sure he knew the sound of the preadtor better.

Kazuki got of Ari and walked out.
"You shall be an exellent scout. But try to measure not just with yoru ears but with you paws. You can the size more by paw then by ear. Oh and I'm Kazuki.." He said rather shyly. He sat down to watch the other dark kit but turned to look at Ari.
"I do hope I did not hurt you..."He added very softly.

"You didn't," Ari said to Kazuki, still in a bit of shock. His life had just been saved by two kits. Was he truly that pathetic?
Or were these kits that good?
At least they were talking to each other, and so he wasn't going to have to deal with two different conversations, and a head that was spinning from shock.

Rendo looked at the other kit a little thinking about what he said. "I have to see it then, a wolf could have smaller paws and I think it was another fox, then it would be bad." He said stareing at the other kit. "I am Rendo." He said a little less shyly then he started earlyer. His ear twiched again as he looked off into the forest with his eyes. "Hmm...some kind of plant eater was here earlyer..." He said indicateing some grass that had been bit in.

Kazuki shook his head at Rendo.
"Each animal has their own way of steping. A fox is different then a wolf. Just as a rabbit is different from a lion. Master that and you will understand." Kazuki gave a soft smile. He glanced at Ari for a moment before begining to move away.

"To learn that stepping though I would have to get up close, i could easely tell what it is from the sound, the smell, and the signs of it." he said stareing around as he heard as he thought of trying to go hunting.

They were talking about scouting things, now, which wasn't exactly Ari's strong point. He could tell something big apart from something small, knew the difference between a threat and prey, but that was it. That was all he needed to know, really. Why bother finding out if what he was tracking was a rabbit or a hare? It was all food in the end.
He found his mind wandering back to what Kazuki had said, still trying to figure out what he had meant. Obviously the kit wasn't going to tell him why he had said that, so it was up to Ari to figure it out for himself.

Rendo looked off at Ari then said lower till Kazuki could hear. "Wondering about that statement Kazuki said, I already figured it out." He said to Ari calmly.

Kazuki continued to walk and then went over to a few berry bushes. He smelled a few before he began to pick some. He chewed on them softly and smiled. They were really good. Then he noticed there were a few flowers near by. He picked a few up and then began to head towards the mountian.

Amira stepped into the clearing and looked about. Not noticing anyone nearby, she settled down in the cool grass and watched the birds fly above her.

Rendo ears twitched again as he heard a sound, it was like that of another animal about his size. He then deicded to go that way, he walked steathly till he came to a kit, he stoped and looked her up and down. "Hellow." He said a little shy.

Amira glanced in the direction of her contemporary. She was slightly suprised at his sudden appearance and therefore paused before answering. "..hello" she stated, trying to be friendly. It would not be bad to have some company after all.

He looked the female kit over. "Did you just come here?" he asked since he didn't smell her before or hear her till he just did.

"In a manner of speaking, yes." she stated, noticing his slight confusion. "I certainly have not been here for very long..." she continued as an afterthought. "I was merely watching the birds. There seem to be so many exotic types in this clearly. I followed one here earlier and was watching it." She then indicated a young bird building a nest high in the nearby tree.
