Connie, Squire of Chronos
(Too short to see anything. Saying hello to Pieria after running into her. Attempting to look around for other familiar faces.)

It had been a while since Connie had been to the Moon! Not since they brought Caedus with them when they were all saved after being attacked by the Negaverse! She was grateful that nothing crazy like that had happened since, although there had been plenty of incidents with gross bugs and other weird things in the meantime.

She wasn’t busy when she received her letter, so of course she accepted! She was eager to find out why her poor little plant had wilted and withered into nothing. But it was magical, so things would get better, right?

“Oh, I’m sorry!” she squeaked when she ran into a pretty woman in a long gown. She looked like a princess! Oh, but so did a lot of people there.

But she also looked like she had no idea what was going on. Neither did Connie, but--

“Are you okay? Oh, I’m Connie. This is really cool, right? It’s not every day we get magical letters and whooshed to the Moon!” she smiled up at the woman, and then tried to push herself up on her tiptoes to see over the heads of the people there. “Just-- trying to see-- if I recognize anyone--”

Annwn -Page of Earth

A week, a certainly strange week it had been - his weapon brittle, the uniform hard to summon, he thought for the most of it that it was his fault for not having participated in this for some time.
Then, there had been the golden invitation, and that made things all the stranger. Never mind the swirling ball of light that pulced like a heartbeat.
There were so many more people than he expected too, he could feel his chest tighten with the start of panic, his breath quickening.

"What... is this?" He asked quietly, anxiously. "What...the hell did I accept?" He wondered aloud to no one in particular, though at least in audible range of two.

Bifrost, Transcendent Knight of Chronos
[ Introducing herself to Connie and Piera! ]

She watched the knights gather quietly, lilac eyes searching for any familiar faces. There were several 'old guard' knights - Camelot, Valhalla, Nifhlhel, Tanaris, Hawara - but the room was dominated by those who'd come into their knighthood much more recently. They spanned the gambit of planets, and included some whose symbol she didn't strictly recognize.

Though not even this had sent the old Chronos knights scurrying out into the light.

She supposed that was why she'd sort of... taken up the mantle of 'leader' for them, even if she did a absolutely terrible job at it. It was... a work in progress. Always.

Bifrost did catch the movement of magenta and wiggled in excitement. She knew that particular shade of magenta. Her hands came up to not really clasp each other, but sort of hover around her collarbones as she weaved through the crowd.

Her first stop: Connie.

She gently touched her shoulder in way of alerting her to her presence, given that she was talking with another knight. She couldn't quite remember if she and Connie actually... knew each other. Maybe she'd come to her knighthood while Bifrost was being a hermit.

"Hi! I'm not sure if we've ever met before, but I'm Bifrost, a fellow Chronos knight! And a pleasure to meet you, Knight of Cosmos!" she said, butt wiggling back and forth in a way that made her cape swish. She could tamp down on the stimming if she wished, but her therapist said it was good for her to do, no matter what looks people gave her.

She noticed Connie's attempts to look around people. "Do you need or want a boost? You could sit on my shoulders!"

Knight Tanais of Mars
( greeting folkvangr, noticing Richtersveld )

Her arrival seemed only the start of this strange summoning, because more knights began to appear around her. Pluto, Saturn... ones in colors she didn't recognize. All talking, some shouting, until the whole room became a dull roar of voices of all kinds. Tanais hid her grimace as she dropped her bare hands to her hips, straightening herself up so at least she didn't look as lost as she felt. Mars had a reputation to uphold after all...

Her name came from somewhere to the side and dark brows rose as she recognized the voice, turning to see a familiar pink head of hair and a lovely face.

"Hey, Beautiful." She laughed, a broad grin finally breaking out over her face. She shifted to join the smaller Ganymede knight and looped a thick arm around her neck, letting it rest across her shoulders and her fingers hang. "Yeah. Stupid gauntlets keep breaking and the magic's all weird. I guess a lot of other people have been having the same problem, by the sound of it. It's made it ******** annoying this past week. Hopefully, this whatever it is will give us some answers."

Having Folkvangr there eased some inner tension she'd been carrying, but there was a heaviness still that weighed on Tanais. Another glance about confirmed it. For all the colors and planets she saw around her... there just weren't much else in the way of Mars knights here. She saw... one, maybe? It gave her a weird feeling, a sort of ache she couldn't place. The knight shoved it down and tried to ignore it, shifting her focus instead to what she did have... which was a lovely knight on her arm, even if not from her planet.

"You been doing okay with all of it? Not too much trouble?" Red eyes tripped over another familiar set of curls and Tanais brightened again, throwing up an arm to wave at the pluto squire.

"Oh, hey! There's Richtersveld. Dunno if you've met her. She's patched me up a few times."

Dering, Squire of Lysithea
    (Arriving with Stirling)

If Dering had been on his own, he would have immediately faded into a fine mist and drifted away. There were so many people here that he struggled to recognize anyone he knew. There were Knights in colors he’d never seen before.

Naturally, it was easy to move a little closer to Stirling.

It would have been easier if his lute wasn’t so massive. He felt like he was taking up too much room. More room than he deserved.

In the last week, he and Stirling had been attempting to unblock themselves from their Wonders or solve the mystery of whatever was going on. He’d been visiting Talia nightly–except when he almost got caught and couldn’t sneak away. They’d had dinner earlier and were out again, trying to find some crack in this would-be curse that would let them turn the tides when they’d gotten the invitation.

With hope that the Code had answers, they’d accepted.

Now, Dering was holding his breath and shifting awkwardly, trying to find a place to hide. Or somewhere to just be out of the way. “There are a lot of people here,” he said to Stirling, but even when he stood on his tiptoes he couldn’t really see around anyone enough to find their friends–who had to be here. They’d tried too hard to reach the Code before to miss out on an audience now.

Newgrange, Knight of Earth
    (Arriving with Starlight and Whisler)

It had been a long time since Newgrange had gone out like this. He patrolled occasionally, but his work schedule had not been spectacular now (or ever, really) and juggling that on top of his family life left him with very little time for this.

Plus, it seemed like every time he went out, he ran into the wrong people, and it was one thing to dust some youma–but another thing entirely to run into a Negaverse agent that left you so sore that you almost couldn’t get out of bed.

Almost.

But, when he, Starlight, and Whistler all felt the strange summoning?

He couldn’t ignore it. Neither could they.

Newgrange was in fairly good health, although he was once again surrounded by faces he couldn’t put a name to. “I don’t suppose you recognize anyone here?” he asked the other two quietly.

Starlight, Knight of Polaris

They were packed into the room pretty tightly but Starlight wasn’t particularly bothered by this. He’d seen the bakery practically as full, and it was easier now that head a bit more confidence. He didn’t even flinch or try to shy away from everyone as they arrived in the crowded room. He pulled his hair close, unwilling to have someone accidentally hook onto it or something.

“I don’t really get out that much,” he answered quietly.

Which wasn’t entirely untrue. He’d had to prioritize school and that meant that his focus was on that for the most part. He still patrolled, sometimes alone and sometimes with Whisler. Occasionally with Newgrange, but more commonly with Aeleas. It was good that she’d been busy tonight, he didn’t want her to feel let out.

…He was really hoping they were going to get some answers out of this. His stomach was churning with uncertainty and nervousness. He just wanted things to fix things. Or, at least know that they weren’t doing something wrong.

Squire Lisse of Lysithea

There were so many Knights here, and Lisse was more than a little overwhelmed, though when he saw the telltale feathers that matched those that he wore, though not in color, he made his way over to Halle, as quickly as the press of people would allow him, and gave his brother a good natured thwack on the back. “Do you know how worried I’ve been? LIke, honestly I thought you were going to die up there, I haven’t know what to do. I was about to get to meet Lysithea to try and arrange a trip up there to see if we could find you…”

He kept his voice as light as possible, but there was real fear in it. “I managed to fool the school into thinking you were sick, and convinced mom that you were just busy with projects. Don’t ask me how I did it, and don’t ever make me do it again…”

Lisse gave a sigh and then threw one arm around Halle. “...you are okay, aren’t you? Do you have any theories about what’s going on? We’re on the moon right now!”

That was finally becoming clear, now that the fierce worry was ebbing…they were on the moon and were going to really figure out what was going on…or at least he hoped.

Nalanda, Knight of Cosmos
    (Arriving with Qingcheng)

Nalanda had been out on his own a few times in the previous week, but each time he’d found himself uncomfortably unable to perform what felt like they should be the most basic of Knightly duties. He couldn’t visit his Wonder. He could hardly use his weapon. The one time he’d tested his magic, it had backfired so badly that he was blinking away stars for a few hours after he’d gone home.

He was stressed, but that was nothing new. He was just carrying it worse than usual these days.

He and Sterling had been having a late dinner when the tug to power up came through, and immediately fearing the worst, they’d stepped out to see what was wrong.

Only, instead of some great battle, they’d been summoned here.

Along with every other Knight in Destiny City, it seemed.

And yet, that was a relief. Hopefully someone knew what was going on–or how to fix it. He leaned back just slightly and sighed, like a weight had fallen from his shoulders. “I hope this is a good sign,” he mused.

…He hoped it wasn’t a bad omen for something yet to come.

Mont Saint Michel, Knight of Saturn
(Standing around, not looking very friendly)

Michel didn’t have to sneak out of the house but neither did he make a big show about leaving. He’d gotten a letter from the Code that he distinctly noted Talia did not get, and though he’d kept quiet and brushed off any troubles he’d been having with his Wonder, he was having issues. He was sick and tired of his weapon falling apart. It was useless if he got into trouble. He was exhausted from transforming–struggled to even get there–and for what? His radar was broken, his magic was broken. Everything was broken.

He wasn’t here to make friends. He stood to the side with an expression that made him look nearly unapproachable. He looked like he’d rather be anywhere but standing in that room with all of them. Arms crossed, he exuded an unfriendly aura and waited for the Code to spit up whatever it was going to say so things could get back to normal. Now.

Crisium, Page of the Moon
[ Having a moment on the floor ]

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh" came Crisium's voice as he popped into existence among the crowd of knights.

The last week had been... a whole thing.

First, he'd tried to go to his wonder to escape his mother's nagging, and it denied him! Or didn't respond, or something. Then he'd encountered that agent and felt super sluggish when trying to fight. Now, a glowing scroll had just appeared out of no where and demanded his presense for an emergency meeting.

And now! There were so many knights and people he absolutely did not recognize all around him! Why did he appear in the middle of the crowd?? Why why why would you do this Code?!

Crisium stayed crouched on the ground, arms wrapped around his knees and shoulders, and really hoped no one tripped over him.

[ Crisium is open for interaction! ]

Squire Halle of Lysithea

Thankfully, as the room filled with more and more knights, Lisse was able to find him first. Stumbling forward a little, Halle turned to look at his brother. He really....he really had been worried for him. While never thinking his brother wouldn't care, it was still a little unexpected for Lisse to be that worried. It made Halle feel both a little warm and a little awkward. Guilty even, for not having been scared or hurt during this time. Something to merit that worry. Instead it'd been, well, kinda fun.

"I'm okay! I had supplies so it was basically just camping for a week. Sorry you had to deal with all that," Halle apologized. "And thanks for covering." It sounded like he'd done a good job managing it, too. He let a smile stretch across his features, wrapping one arm around Lisse in turn. The two brothers, similar looks, similar uniforms, leaned close together, the picture of boyish conspiracy.

"Well, I'd thought it was just my Wonder messing up. But now it seems to be all of them. I couldn't reach my piece of Code while I was there, and now we're here," he nodded to the object in the room that was growing brighter as more knights trickled in. One of Mechelen's friends had called it Code. "I think that's also a piece of the Code?" A huge one at that.

Stirling, Knight of Lysithea

There were so many people here. Stirling was starting to wonder if being alone all the time, or at best being with one or two people she knew was giving her anxiety, or if it was still resentment and whatever left over from the group home…or if she just…

Had become someone who liked solitude.

“Too many people here…” Stirling agreed, her voice quiet and oddly thin. “Why don’t you desummon your lute for right now? It looks like it’s giving you issues, and I wouldn’t want it getting more hurt with all of these people here…and I can’t…”

She wrinkled her nose, trying to make sure she was articulating this in a way that she understood what she was trying to say.

“...I can’t see…the moon...like I can’t imagine that this is a trap or something that we’ll have to fight? I think it’s safe, is what I’m trying to say.”

"I wouldn't say often, no," Camelot answered, almost on instinct. When he heard a question, he was compelled to reply, even if it was not technically directed at him. Thankfully, this time, the question seemed to be at least floating in his direction. He had taken to a bit of roaming, checking things out, and was just stopping near the side of a page.

He glanced at her, brightening to see someone closer to his own age than not.

"But when something important is happening, things like this tend to bring us together. It is a good way, at the very least, to meet new people and work alongside people we may not regularly cross paths with. If nothing else," he grinned, then offered his gloved hand to Danube. "Camelot, Royal Knight of Earth."

Another voice reached him and he turned his head, spotting Annwn and looking surprised.

"Ah! Don't worry, it's alright to be confused. That summons is a very specific way of being brought here, and by accepting it you allowed yourself to be transported here. A little like when you visit your own Wonder. Except right now. Since we...can't." He sighed, wishing his analogy had been a little more reliable than that, but the facts remained.

Erytheia looked around the room. He saw Camelot immediately. His aura was easy to spot. He waved to the knight of Earth.

He had been bruised when they met and knew that, with all that had happened the past week with knight powers no longer working as they should, he could not have gone to his wonder to help him heal.

The knight of Cosmos spotted Nalanda with another knight of Cosmos. He would have to ask about his weapon. Both his own and the fellow knight’s had behaved so strangely when they met before

“I hope being summoned to the Moon is a good sign. The Code Piece here had enough strength to call us here. With what has occurred, I still have fear that perhaps not all is well.”

He stood by the other knights of Cosmos, but did not take his eyes off the Code.

Mamertine, Knight of Pluto

Irkalla arrived next to Mamertine, a stoic Knight who watched the room with a steely resolve. There was something stern on his expression that was not quite unfriendly, but it gave him a somewhat detached air about him. He had been operating on his own for a while now so it wasn’t surprising that he didn’t recognize most of the faces. He didn’t have many friends, he didn’t want many.

The Knights he meant were almost always quite a bit younger than him. They had their world and he had his.

Tonight, those worlds intersected.

His weapon–usually an impressive hammer, was little more than a staff right now. He had the bottom planted into the ground and he was leaning on it when Irkalla arrived. Close, and obviously not intentionally right there. He stood up straight and moved the staff away to make more room for her.

“Apologies.” It was a busy room and she couldn’t help where she’d arrived any more than he could. He was polite, though not particularly animated. “Do you need me to make more room for you?”
