She heard Narky say her name and she did look back at him as she walked past him to the table. Not much else was said as he tried to stand up to Sinn on her behalf. He gave Sinn a piece of his mind and stood for what he believed in. That made her proud as his leader, but she wished for him to not be injured. Hopefully Sinn would leave him unharmed. Upon His return to the table, he asked was she alright. A small smile came to her lips and she needed to not have him worry about her. "I will be okay." She chuckled. "Thank you honey." She would rise gingerly to get more food. It was better to eat her pain away than wallow in it. Taking her time, she had saw a person was missing. "It looks like everyone can't handle the pressure of being here." She thought to herself as she made her food and headed back to the table with her Narky. Her mind was drowning out most of the conversation that was happening around her. Again, Narky brought her out of her out of her own personal funk with just being himself. "I do not like carrots honey. Especially if it is raw carrots. I will pass and forfeit. You are the winner." Her eyes. shined and she felt better with his company.
Upon finishing her meal, she heard Sinn say pick a bedroom. No more than two people to a room. Girls on the right and boys on the left. Welp, that ruined Narky being her roommate. Yes, they roomed together at Beacon, but the rules seemed to be different here. He told them how to get to the baths. That is what she was going to do once settled into her room, take a bath. "I will see you in the morning honey. May the fairies watch over you as you rest." She spoke softly to Narky before exiting the table. Going to her room, she would see a symbol on her door. It had her interest and she wanted to know what it was, but as of right now, she would keep it in mind but, right now, it was get her things and head to the baths. Walking in, she saw her bag. putting her weapons underneath the bed, she changed into her fluffy red bath robe that had a hood attached. Putting the hood over her head, she gathered her toiletries, slid her feet into flip flops, and left the room following his instructions to the baths.
Once she was done, she went back into her room to assess her wounds. It wasn't too bad after a hot bath and her aura kicking in to heal. Hopefully by in the morning, she would be fine. As of right now, she would change into her pajamas and crawl into bed. After a while, she was in dreamland.

It would seem agreeing to disagreeing was a valid option to behold, but anyone else who had felt the same sentiment of words from Sinn would only go over Narkyena's head. The words from Sinn however, he could acknowledge with a tiny nod of his head. As to whether he would be able to remember on thinking on any of it, that would be left in the dark until the day can anew. If he wasn't about to remember it in the morning, there was a chance the afternoon it could sink through better. Had he only thought himself to mention his troubles to Sinn. With all that's occurred though it hadn't dawned on him either to mention anything. Wellllll... That was a bad on both of them. Least to say, if the school records didn't contain his condition, only he himself at the end could say anything. For now, there was relief he wasn't about to get his butt kicked for speaking up. Secretly he had been thinking he was about to get sent home. With him sitting with Pryve, and their conversing, it looked to be he was safe. Not that Narky was going to let himself get frazzled. He needed to keep himself on his own levels in order to be able to function for the remainder of the evening. As such, from what he was able to see for himself, his leader looked to be alright. Even as she had retrieved more food for herself, the signs weren't known, and he could only be happy to see she was getting better already. A shame she didn't like carrots though!! That sounds fair!! Had there been some spinach dip I would have suggested on it! Well, may have missed it if there were some... I shall take my win then with a happy carrot chomp! Bunnies have it so lucky too they ewat this a lot! I forgot to grab some though!! Ahahaha.... Oops." In doing so, Narky had time to retrieve some carrots for himself, bringing back a plate full with them. adding a teensy bit of whatever was left for salt, he had proceeded on finishing the last of his meal, having placed some lettuce into his jacket for later. That aside, he had slipped in carrots too, in order to avoid any remaining vegetables from going to waste. It was up until the evening had he remained there, looking through his book when he was finished. "Jack and the beanstalk... I wonder what I could do to find a talking harp..."
All in a dreamy state, Narky hadn't looked up at all when Sinn had returned into the room with his lantern, signaling that it was time for everyone to prepare to go to their rooms. He did however, had looked up with enough time to grab his bag, before continuing on to reading. "I leave this about a pixie may lay a stink bug in my socks for swearing this on someone else..." There was something in his bag that was dire to sleep, so having it on hand was a must, should he make it through the week with the others. More so, it was part of the habit he had to force on himself, as his habit of leaving clothes somewhere was a common occurrence. Through the walk towards the rooms however, his multitasking between walking and reading was second nature. The dark spots in the hallways as they had all walked had made it harder to read, but he was set on the stories for that time. It was going to be a wonder on directions later on, but with Narky, this was another normal thing by him. By the time they had all arrived, he was halfway through Rapunzel and the Taijitu: A tale of two friends. Pausing on the scene in the book where Rapunzel and the giant snake grimm were swinging through the trees, he had only tuned in then to the group. Oh?? Girls on one side, and boys on the other? The young dragonling had no issue with this being a thing, though found it odd he wasn't sharing a room with Pyrve like he did back at the academy. On top of it all, there was the idea of a warm shower before bed needing to be done. Everything seemed to be in order just fine, and to know they were being well looked after gave some positive notations his way on their instructor. "I can give him a chance after today." Silently implementing thoughts to himself, the attention of Pyrve had brought him back to the current moment, his bright smile appearing to her, as he answered her in kind. "Have a wonderful evening Miss Pyrve, and may dreams sprites keep your dream pleasant and guarded from the dark!" Watching her leave a moment, he then had realized he was going to need a roommate. Looking at the options, Pyrrhus was one of the only ones he had spoken to, or remembered slightly on doing so. Had he been conversing, he was awaited until there was a pause in the conversation, before speaking. "Good evening sir knight! Ahm... Wait.... I-I know this... Ahm.... Pyrrhus. Y-yes, mister Pyrrhus. Would you like to be roommates?? I shall be bathing first then going to bed myself, i-if you were wanting to." Waiting for a yes or no, Narky smiled at either answer, before saying a soft goodnight, and had made way into one of the free rooms for the males. Dropping his stuff off, he had left the room to bathe, after retrieving stuff from his bath. Only had he finished it all, had he returned to the room, not even paying attention to the door at all. Upon sitting down onto his bed, he had pulled what looked to be two weights, attached to rope. Tying both weights around his ankles, he made no comments, as this was what he did all the time, before saying a goodnight, and falling asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. Over the course of the night, he was going to be an odd roommate. Little would his roommate know, they were bunking with a sleep walker. The weights were for keeping him in place, just so he wasn't wandering out of the room.
Lovely! Lovely! The weird man was showing such impressive strength. The fools that dared challenge him did not stand a chance. She wanted a turn. She would have gone and given it a try, but the shadows. They warned her not to. Her friends on the other side knew he was a worthy opponent. Did Natigai actually see? No. She was nowhere to be found when the group arrived. She was there earlier, not being accompanied by the group that would come later. When she retired, she noticed the symbols but nothing really was important that could be made out. When the group finally came, she stayed in her room locked in room 3 as she was too busy focusing on reading up for tomorrow. She did not know what tomorrow held, but she wanted to be prepared.
Time would pass and a sound would come from the door. Once it opened, she would look towards the woman that was entering room 3 (Penninah) and say nothing. She still was wearing her normal everyday outfit so she looked like something deep from the forests. Not even giving her a greeting, Natigai would go back to what she was doing. Now in front of her was a plate full of bugs. They seemed to be seasoned and cooked. Steamed? Fried? Wasn't sure. To the naked eye, one could confuse the plate for just bugs taken straight from the ground. A delicate crunch would introduce itself as she munched on another piece. Who was she? Who was this woman entering? None of her stuff had her name on it, but Natigai didn't have much on her as far as possessions.
Alois listens as supposed mentor answered his questions. Mentally nodding at of his answers he saw they had similar views on the world. Sinn wasn't someone lackadaisical; he was grounded by a purpose that he would die for, but wouldn't give death the chance. There was respect for a man willing to shed blood for his cause. No immediate family to hold him down so he has no fear of anyone hurting someone he loves. "I want to hear some stories, but that can wait." he thought. He listened intently to his explanation regarding Peninnah. As much as the small pain in his a** got on his nerves he was still her team leader and still cared for her to a certain extent. He raised his eyebrows at the mention of his reasoning as to why he wanted to be a Hunter. Before he could answer Sinn made his exit telling him to think about it before he answered. Alois followed the man with his eyes as he walked away from the table. Alois' reason for becoming a Hunter was nothing romantic. He just wanted to find his sister and he figured becoming a Hunter would give him the powerful connections and means for finding his sister. The joke was she was practically thinking the same thing and ended up bumping into each other, literally, before setting foot on academy grounds. That was the his whole point. Was there a point in being one anymore? He really did have to think about if he were to continue or not.
Everyone was instructed to follow Sinn and he showed everyone their quarters. Segregated by gender he made a mental sigh. "Finally a break from those two." He could cry, but he won't. "So we have to pick roommates, huh? Ok then." he said as making his way back to Pyrrhus observing as the whimsical white-haired guy walked away from him. Alois gently pulled him to side and spoke, "Hey, what do you think about bunkin' separately?" he asked in a hushed tone. "It might be a good thing to get to know some of the other teams. And we can do that easier if we separate. We all have something in common, obviously, so we may as well. Also," he comes in a bit closer. "if we can observe potential opponents then that's another plus." he stated. "What do you think?" Alois said giving the knight a bit of space. Alois noticecd something out of the corner of his eye some sharp movement and a weird noise. "What the f*** is that noise?" he said out loud. He watched as Svafnir continued his image training. "I'm not sure how to describe this noise, but it's starting to get irritating!" he seethed in his head. He exhaled and grabbed his sister by the back of her shirt; the most convenient form of her travel forms. He walks past Svafnir and says, "Yo, you should lower your center of gravity so he doesn't send you flying again." Alois swings his arms backwards and with a large motion tosses his sister onto the girls side of the dorms. He turns around with faith in the thought of cats land on their feet. And if he heard a loud thud he'd burst out in laughter. Alois picks a room and takes a bed on the right. He rests his head on his arms as he lays on his back decompressing for the day.

Being so consumed in trying to quiet her anger, she had not noticed the other young woman in the room. She had her things (travel backpack and weapons) and set them down carefully in a corner of the room, right of the door. Crimson eyes only turned to where her roommate was when she heard a soft crunch, having made her turn in alertness. Peninnah blinked slowly, confused as her eyes registered the other figure in the room."What in the world?!...She wasn't on the bus..."She tried to figure if she'd ever seen the girl before, but was coming up blank. She was not going to leave, not for tonight though.
Noting forest tribal clothing of sorts, the lavender-haired student would then turn her gaze to the warmed, spiced plate."That looks good."Her expression was one of interest rather than disgust; as bugs were not abnormal in dishes as far as Peninnah was concerned. Meeting the stranger's eyes, she would rest her right fist over her heart and bow her head slightly in greeting."'Evening,"Peninnah said simply, her anger momentarily forgotten."I'm Peninnah,"Peninnah introduced herself after a brief silence, not sure what to do. She would look to the futon that was not occupied/near the girl, and take that one to sit on with crossed legs. If the girl remained silent for more a long time, Peninnah would shrug it off and try to go to sleep; she'd grown-up with Svafnir, so the sound of him training did not really bother her much.

His earlier demonstrations seemed to have been effective. All the students were now, more or less, following his directions with little resistance. He would wait till each and everyone of them chose a room; noting a few went to take a night bath. Or so he assumed with the direction they took after leaving their rooms. He noted Svafnir had taken the far room with Alois, and Pyrrhus and Narkyena with the room closest to the intersection. On the girls side, Penninah had taken the far room(coincidentally the room Natigai was in), Mulan the middle room, and Rosa the closest to the intersection. He found it curious the sisters would be apart, as well as Alois and Pyrrhus. But he was glad for the separation of those ties; it would make the forging of new ones hopefully easier. 'It certainly has turned into interesting parings,' he thought to himself. With that settled, he would head into his own room; the far room at the very end of the hall. Despite his large frame, his footfalls now were softer and quieter as he entered his own room for the evening and closed it behind him. While things had been prepared for the next day, physically at least, there was still some mental preparation needed along with planning. 'Their first trial should prove interesting,' he thought as he settled for the eve. His rest was not perfectly peaceful however; as it seemed Pace was training during the night. And rather loudly at that. While it could be ignored, Sinn wasn't one to let annoyances remain unconfronted. Not long after most others were settled, Sinn would enter Svafnir's/Alois' room to give him a real opponent in training. It would not be long after that things would quiet down for the eve, and Sinn return to his own room for the night.
Everyone would be awoken by a loud, repeated, gong being struck as Sinn walked down the length of the hall to the intersection. For those with an unfettered window, or who were awake enough to perceive, they would notice it was still dark out. The faintest hints of the sun rising were present, but it was yet to be up. "Rise, Dragonlings, and prepare yourselves. We leave for the first trial in ten minutes. Dress yourselves for the outdoors; your gear is not required," he would instruct and warn them as he would stand at the intersection to await them. Come the five minute mark, he would ring the gong again and collect anyone who had yet to come out. For any who looked, they would see Sinn dressed in a similar garb as the day prior but seemed to have boots on now and a backpack as well. His cricket bat was also in hand, along with the gong that he had used to wake them; it seemed to be a small, hand held, brass gong. He would wait for them, seeming completely unfazed by the early hours he had awoken them at. Besides him were several bags as well, seeming to have one for everyone. Everyone would be gathered there save Rosa. For any who would have checked on her in the interim, as Sinn had, they would note she seemed feverish and sick; fading in and out of consciousness. "Rosa has fallen ill and shall not be participating in the trial. She will remain here for now until she recovers. I have already treated her, but it will take time and rest for her before she can leave her room," he would start off, explaining the situation with one of the younger dragonlings before anything else. He would let it sink in for the others for now, his face expressionless, before he continued. "As for the rest of you, the trial will continue on. It is a few hours travel to our destination; the packs here have some water and rations for the journey. The trial will be explained once we arrive; we depart now," he would explain unceremoniously as he tossed a pack to each of them before leading them out of the shrine through the back path and into the pre-dawn wilderness. For any who were looking, beyond the trees and hills, they would note mountains off in the distance. [For anyone who wanted to decipher one of the symbols on their door, roll a d100 on gaia and Dm the result. Next mod post we will reach the first trial site. It will occur roughly 18 days from now, to get back to the every 2 weeks tuesday schedule.
Sváfnir broke from his training for the moment when he was addressed by the male with the rather intriguing hair style. The warrior held his stance and observed as what was being criticized and nodded with a smile before making the necessary corrections before thanking the male for his input. Many thanks warrior for you have won us both a victory this night. Sváfnir said as he turned to face his roommate fully before holding out a strong fist on a firm stance. I am called Sváfnir Shiloh Bela Nuntis, Proud son of Yowlumne's the Great Agmundr and The Amazing Eydis, Blood brother of the Cool Kamyu, Slayer of team SHANK Hooligans of Beacon, One half of team SACB, Comrade of the Swordsmoth and Future Warrior of the world. What do they call you? After the greeting, whether he was fist bumped or not Sváfnir would begin to grill Alois on battle tactics and methods of combat, specifically pertaining to Sinn and Grimm, as he trained once again seemingly reignighted by the presence of Alois and his keen eye and instruction.
It would be at this time Sinn would enter the domain of the two males and easily engage Sváfnir in close quarters combat, which would go not too dissimilar from what happened in the dining area aside from a few near misses on the young warriors part. Once taking another loss at the hands of Sinn, the young warrior reevaluated his methods of engagement towards Sinn constantly asking the council of Alois deep into the night before he would bid his roommate goodnight and went for a late night bath before turning in for the little time he had left. Alois, unlike many of the participants was awoken before the gong by the sound of a hyperactive Sváfnir once again training. Awake early? You truly are quite the warrior. That kind of dedication is to be commended...I have implemented a revision on my fighting style will you share your thoughts on it?.... Sváfnir bombarded his roommate with urges for training and questions till the gong was rang. The Warrior took to tending his arm wraps and hair before awaiting Alois so that he could travel with him (possibly talk about beating Sinn with him.) to where Sinn was, where they would receive packs of their survival items and instruction after mention of Rosa's sudden illnesss. Sváfnir given the circumstances of how they have been treated so far, though still worried, trusted Sinn in his care for Rosa.

Attributing things to be a more pride based basis than anything else, and that Lady Penninah would dig anything out of him if something were amiss. During this, he would also hear and notice some quarrel and hurt feelings between Lady Penninah and Rosa; having missed the context from earlier, he was entirely lost as to what occurred and only watched the younger sister run off. 'I wonder what happened,' he thought confusedly with a brief glance to Lady Penninah but he did not press for information on it now. Alois would be the first to respond to his inquiries and comment, saying he hoped the instructor was at least strong and hardy. He would also add that, while he had showed his experience, he hadn't done anything to demonstrate his ability as all he had done was defeat two students. Pyrrhus would silently nod his head at that; had he done something else for Pyrve, it would've shown he had more than brute strength and durability. He had no high expectations, but seemed to accept the man had to have more merit given he was trusted by the headmaster to do this. He let it off on the immediate future part though as he would grab a bowl of food and head off; leaving Pyrrhus in thought with Lady Penninah. Looking to her, to hear her thoughts on things, he could not help but notice a trembling to her before she would break her silence and speak. It was worrying but...Pyrrhus was unsure how to help with it, and did not desire to meddle in personal affairs. She would say he was strong, confident and disciplined. Maybe a good teacher. She would also agree with Pyrrhus that it would be good for them to know what their perceived faults were. Sinn would thankfully answer it swiftly by saying to ask before bed if they desired to know. At some point in time as well, Narkyena would seem to stand up for his beliefs against Sinn. It was oddly inspiring to see the pacifist do so, and more intrigued that Sinn did a small request to debate with Narkyena on it further in future. Pyrrhus found himself curious on how that would go; should Narkyena remember at least.
After some time and finishing their meals (with Alois returning with a comment to success and having chatted up Sinn), they would be led by Sinn deeper into the shrine. The dimly lit halls, by candle and lantern, along with the narrow walls, almost seemed a bit sinister as they traveled. As if they were going from one world to the next down a long and dark corridor. Following after everyone, they would arrive at what seemed to be an intersection with Sinn instructing them on what their sleeping arrangements would be. 'One to two people per room, girls on the right and boys on the left,' he repeated to himself in his mind. He took note that Sinn's room would be at the very end, and further down the hall would lead to some baths. His final comment would be that they have an early start tomorrow, and they would need the sleep. Looking around, Pyrrhus was uncertain how the rooming arrangements would go. Penninah and the other girls seemed quick to pick rooms, with Svafnir already seeming to head off to one. That only left himself, Alois, and Narkyena. Before he could decide for himself though, Alois would pull him to the side and speak up. He would ask him about bunking separately. He would further specify by saying it would be good to get to know others, given they all had something in common. Though the purely good nature impression for it was broken as Alois would come in closer to say it would also allow them to observe potential opponents as well. As he asked what Pyrrhus thought of it, the young knight would pause and think for a moment. "That sounds like a good idea. Just try to make friends and not enemies while you are at it," Pyrrhus would agree with the idea of bunking separately and jest a little to Alois. Seeing him walk off an do his usual yelling/brother and sister antics, that left Pyrrhus with Narkyena. Surprisingly enough, it was the other who would initiate conversation first; calling him sir knight and struggling for a moment before remembering Pyrrhus' name. Pyrrhus chuckled a little at that as he asked if he would like to be roommates, and that he would be bathing first then going to bed if he didn't mind. "I would gladly be your roommate, Sir Narkyena, and I have no qualms with you going to bathe first," Pyrrhus would respond with a smile in kind. Narkyena would smile and say good night then as they were both off to their room now. As they went to the nearest one, Pyrrhus would see a symbol above it. And, for whatever reason, his mind saw the symbol to mean the number one. Confused, he would shake it off as just him counting from left to right for rooms before going in. While Narkyena dropped his stuff off and went for a bath, Pyrrhus would slowly and methodically undress himself from his lightly armored attire to more casual sleeping ones. He would also set up his things in a neat and orderly manner on his side of the room, before taking out a book called "Ghosts of Ascalaon" and began to read it. He figured if Narkyena was to come back, he may as well wait for a proper good night and to ensure he was not awoken from slumber. As such, he was awake upon Narkyena's return. And he would note a most peculiar sight as such; Narkyena was tying weights to his ankles, and once done, said good night. This left a very confused Pyrrhus staring for a few moments before resolving to ask his roommate in the morning. Turning off the lights, and ensuring the room door was at least closed, Pyrrhus would drift off to sleep himself soon after.
Pyrrhus would find himself awoken by the sound of a loud gong being banged repeatedly. Jumping slightly from the sudden noise, he would calm when he saw there was no danger. Looking across the dark room, his eyes would travel to the window briefly and see dawn was maybe coming...but was yet to be here. 'So this is what he meant by early start,' he thought to himself. Thankfully, he had slept relatively early. Looking over to Narky, Pyrrhus would rise from bed. "Good morning Sir Narkyena," he would say once the other was awake; perhaps helping him wake if necessary. As Pyrrhus would dress and get ready, as per Sinn's instructions, with just gambeson and light attire while leaving his armor in the room. As he did so, he would speak to Narkyena. "Why did you sleep with weights attached to your ankles?" he would ask him bluntly. Awaiting Narky to be ready, Pyrrhus would mentally prep himself until they both would leave the room and go to the hall. He would see Sinn with a few bags to his side, armed, and with the gong that had woken them. It only dimly dawned on Pyrrhus there would be no time for a morning bath or meal with the time limit given. Depending who came out, he would give a nod and simple Morning to them. He would also note there was a new girl, and Rosa was missing. Sinn would address Rosa's absence by saying she was ill and would remain here; she was treated and would recover in time. It was a relief to Pyrrhus that she was treated at least; with how remote they were any emergency may be dire. He would then say for the rest of them the trial would continue as normal, but they would have to spend a few hours traveling to the site. Getting a bag for himself, Pyrrhus would take out the water and take a few sips of it; just to pre-emptively hydrate himself for the coming walk. Food would come later. Looking to his team primarily once they were there, he would speak. "How was your sleep you two? And your roommates, if you had any?" he would ask of Penninah and Alois curiously as he began to follow after Sinn. ♞ Post count: 32 ☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄

Ohhhhh??? This one is intriguing. I hope all the other guests are just as interesting as her. No scared of my look? A respectful introduction. It's like she is one of the shadows too. Oh boy~ May the dark forces of the universe protect her from their wrath!! Natigai would quickly hop up from the bed. The plat of bugs falling off and heading onto the floor. The cooked critters were scattered down by their feet. "Oh no my snacks! I will get them later!" She stated with a hurried tone. Her speech seemed to be as if she was fleeting of thought, not able to keep a specific theme or certain topic at hand. "You no fear what you don't know?! A warrior in the making. Or someone not scared of the darkness!" Natigai questioned. Did she mean darkness like evil? Did she mean something else? Maybe she meant darkness as in the unknown. One not knowing the future? She didn't wait for an answer as she moved on to her next statement. Her introduction. "Me Natigai! A student and lover of the shadow arts! Are you a friend of darkness? Or believer? " She would at least wait this time for an answer. Not long, whether or not her answer was satisfactory for Natigai she would go to pick up her food off the floor and back on the plate. After finishing the plate, she would read up on her voodoo book before heading off to bed.
The sound of a gong would awaken Natigai. The inexplicable noise caused a slight hint of fear. "No, did I become forsaken. The gods of Voodoo...Has my time come? Who has cursed me with such ringing?!??!" She wondered out loud as she seemed to have a semi-panic attack. Her outfit still seemed similar as before. The headpiece was missing as it would appear she did not have her horns anymore. If her roommate noticed, she could easily conclude that Natigai was wearing fake horns. She did not come out. She feared she was cursed! Sinn ended up coming to collect her. The noise being explained that it was sin doing the ringing of the gong. "Filthy trick! Karma strikes those equally. Your silly plague will be returned double-fold against you! " She commented before getting ready and heading off. Gathering towards the others, she took a note of them, finally laying eyes on them for the first time. One of them did look familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
Walking up towards the person that seemed familiar, she would go up to his face and stare as if she was infatuated by the male. Looking at Svafnir in the eyes, she would then turn and hear about Rosa being fallen ill. When she turned to look she grew confused. Looking at Sinn and then back to Svafnir, her eyes lit up more. "Is this some spell!! How is your younger self over here with us but you are over there as well!! What magic is this sir?!" She wondered rhetorically as she pinched Svafnir (more attempted) to see if he was in fact real. Whether she was successful or not, she would continue by going to try to attempt a choke to Svafnir's throat. She wanted to feel his pulse. Make sure this was no trick. If succeeded. She would smile. if not, she would pout but her words would still be the same. "You seem real!. You move real too!"
The destination was hours away. They were going to be traveling. Catching the pack, Natigai would look towards the trees and hill. It seemed wherever they were going, it was going to be an abundance of nature. Was it a hike through the wilderness to show stamina? Or a location to a more beautiful marvel? She loved nature so this was just a win for her. Bouncing with excitement on her barefeet, she would cheerfully bounce all the way on their travel. At times she veered of the path to take a deeper look. Sometimes it was a strange tree. Other times it was an animal. She even adventures off a little to examine the bones of a rotting deer. "Strong bones..but filthy from animal"
It was too early for him to be banging a dong, but she just grumbled and slipped out of bed. She heard him say be ready for the outdoors and she would go through her bag wondering what she could have packed for the outdoors. After a while, she settled on a red leather jumpsuit and a pair of red knee-high boots. "This should suffice." She mumbled to herself before she would leave out her room. Looking back at the door once again, she would see that everyone had exited their rooms. "Morning." She said to everyone before Sin started to speak. Rosa was sick. That was not good. She didn't seem to be very well when she first arrived. Therefore, it made perfect sense. He explained that in the backpacks there was supplies for them to make the journey to their destination. It was going to be a long trip and she was not really up for it. Her body had done a lot of healing that night and she was lacking energy.
Picking up her bag, there wasn't much she was going to say. It was the a** crack of dawn, they were going to be traveling a few hours, and no telling what they were going to be doing upon arrival. She just wanted to go get back in the bed, but she learned a valuable lesson already. Didn't need to learn a second one just yet. As they ventured off into the wilderness, she would look beyond and see the mountains. Why did deep down in her soul she felt that is where they were headed? Just putting her head back down, she continues to follow the others so she wouldn't become lost. Deep down, she hoped Narky had become friends with Pyrrhus as his new roommate because her mind was not focused enough to check on him.
The interesting young woman seemed to be surprised or maybe confused to Peninnah; though she did not quite understand why until words were spoken. Although she would note that the tribal girl seemed short of attention; not the first time she's seen it. When the bugs spilled, Pen would walk over to help pick them up and set them back on the plate."She is an interesting one indeed,"She noted to herself before speaking."Not even a little afraid. I am a warrior and daughter of the sands,"Peninnah replied simply before the girl introduced herself."Greetings, Natigai,"Peninnah greeted, sincerely pleased. They would then go about their own things; Peninnah sleeping before Natigai.
~~Next Morning~~
Peninnah would end up waking quietly so as not to wake her roommate and head to the bathing room to get ready. An hour later, she would hear the rude clanging of a gong; so she would miss Natigai freaking out. Her axe would be on her back as she walked back down the hall, dressed and fixing her last braid. Looking to Sinn, she smiled a bit."You're late,"Her mischievous gleam seemed to convey before she would look to the others that were walking out of their rooms."Good morning to you all,"Peninnah greeted with sincerity in her voice before their mentor would start his morning message. Looking around though, she would not see her sister, smile turning to furrowing brows of concern."Where...?"She pondered before Sinn would say where her sister was. Crimson eyes turned to him then, her expression one of gratitude behind seriousness."Thank you, for caring for her,"Peninnah said softly before she would observe Natigai with confusion."Nerie looks nothing like..."She thought before chuckling softly; Nati was an interesting girl indeed.
"Natigai, don't break him before I get a chance to battle him,"Peninnah called, clearly trying to jest before she'd walk, grab a pack and waterskin, and join with her teammates. Truly, she loved long journeys; be it rain, sun, or otherwise."Both seem well rested at least,"She noted, worried they might fall like her sister...shaking her head, her attention was on Sir Pyrrhus as he spoke. Smiling as she looked back at the voodoo girl then looked to the young knight of old."My sleep and roommate were both good. What about yourself though...Did you sleep well,"Peninnah said before asking in return with some concern that her cousin's activity might've disturbed her friends. As they walked though, she would try to forage, without much luck as the sun had yet to grace them with its light.

Sinn wasn't hearing much in the way of opposition, which suited him fine. Most of the children seemed focus on getting ready more than anything else. The first person he encountered was the elder Serpico sister who had been up and about before his alarm. Sinn was slightly surprised she was awake before him; with his warning he thought they all would have slept in as long as possible. 'Children are unpredictable...for better or worse,' he thought to himself. He would merely nod in greeting to her. The male dragons seemed to come out relatively easily, along with some of the females. Minus one at least; Natigai was the only one he had to personally get out of their room. She began to say he was doing a silly trick and that karma would strike him equally. He chose not to comment to it, mostly because he was unsure what she was even talking about. The fact he had even found her for this at all was nothing short of a miracle; he had yet to fully determine who she had been with and influenced her so. With luck, he would not ever need to. Returning to everyone else, he would inform them of the younger serpico sister's illness. He was surprised to hear the elder sister thank him, and was glad to see no suspicion to her eyes either. "She is under my care, as are you all. The training may be rough, but I intend for you all to survive," he would simply explain. Before anything else could occur, Natigai would become fixated by Pace and start saying he was a younger version of Sinn in the flesh; and seeming utterly confused by it. While Penninah readily dismissed it and told her not to break Pace, Sinn would still respond. "It is no trick. He is not my younger self, just another student," Sinn would respond simply. While they were related, Pace was merely his nephew. Something he had yet to tell the person; that would come later on. With all that sorted, he would lead everyone towards the first trial site.
As they traveled, the student would go through thick forest with the ever looming mountain coming closer. While the air started off cool, and moisture covered the greenery, the day would quickly heat up with the sun. There was little wind either; so while the journey would only take a few hours, it would be a hot few hours. For those who were doing other things as they walked, they would note a variety of plant life; those with particular knowledge in such a field may find useful herbs as well. As for wildlife, the forest was far from silent; bird calls, the sound of distant animals in the bushes, and insects were abundant. No Grimm would be sighted on the hike. Sinn, for the most part, would be silent as he led them. He would make Mulan and Pace in charge of keeping track of the others and retrieving anyone who strayed too far away so no one was lost for long. The path they took itself, if it could be called that, was a barely one person wide cut through the forest. Clearly, it had not been travelled often and was only recently cleared. Finally, they would exit the tree-line to find themselves as the base of the mountain. Sinn would stop and place his pack down now, looking back at the students.
"Drink, and prepare yourselves, for we have reached the first trial site. Your first trial is to scale Dragon's peak; It shall be a trial of strength, endurance, and will. You'll have to scale it using only your body, for no climbing gear is available to you. Often, we are forced to rely only on ourselves when we fight and travel," he would announce to them all before pausing as he looked them over one by one. Noting in particular a Thyra who was barely standing and wobbling quite badly in place before he continued. "I have scaled this mountain to make sure it is feasible, so I shall accept no excuses. There will only be two victors today; the first two to make it to the top. They will also gain a prize that I shall explain in future. Even if you are not one of the two, you have to make it to the top to complete the trial. Any questions?" he would pause and wait to see any who asked. Pyrrhus would speak up, and ask what happens if he were to fall and where would Sinn be...as he did not have aura. As he did so, he would see Thyra go down to her knees as she was struggling to stay awake and seemed exhausted already. He would walk over to her, lift her up, then speak with her in a lowered voice for a few moments. Once done, he would give her a stern look before addressing the rest of them. "Thyra has conceded, as she is unable to scale the mountain in her state. She will stay here in case any of you fall. I shall be awaiting you all at the top," Sinn would say simply to answer his questions. He would give them all a brief few minute break to prepare. "Begin," he would say ceremoniously once the break passed so the students can begin their ascent. Rather than watch them now, he would begin to walk around to a very narrow and winding path up the mountain. He would be waiting above to see who the victors were. [The next post will recap/explain what needs to be done]
The first trial of the tournament of the dragon will be to climb Dragon's Peak. It shall be a trial of strength, endurance, and will as Dragon's Peak is no easy climb. The rock face of this mountain is sheer in many places, with very few spots to rest and recuperate. To add onto the difficulties of this trial, the participants will not be given any equipment for the climb. Like the Dragon who created the trials before them, all they will have for this climb is their own bodies. The first two to reach the summit are the victors of this competition and gain a secret prize for their victory. They also gain a victory overall for the tournament itself.
Rules:
1. You will roll a d100 for each post of this competition (3 in total). Those who have an actual climbing skill or talent will have a +15 to the roll. Those who have a weakest skill to it or anything related to it will have a -15 to their dice rolls. Ask me if you are unsure. 2. The competition will last 2 posts for climbing, with the 3rd post being when you reach the summit. 3. At the start of the 3rd post, all will arrive at the summit. The order people make it up is determined on who gained the most points while climbing. 4. The order people reach the summit will be determined by dice roll. Highest first, lowest last. You can roleplay out how your roll affects your climb in general, but the idea is by the third post everyone reaches the summit; just at different speeds and times.
