RP Response: Bright eyes watched the old 'witch', as she had referred to herself, as she took the rose into the cave. She didn't speak as she was summoned closer, nor did she comment on the bones strewn across the floor; it wasn't her place to, after all.
River Hawk did, however, choke down a rather impatient huff as she was asked for information she'd already relayed. Well, half of it anyway. She had to be careful here. There were many unknowns in this case, the most prominent of which being the owner of those glowing yellow eyes. She was quite sure she knew what happened to the wolves these bones belonged to.
She cleared her throat and began to politely, and calmly, relay what little information she had... Did You Equip An Item?: No
RP Response: Mea eyed the disappearing eyes for a moment before following to sit down. Nothing bad seems to have happened... so she felt safe enough to say that nothing would. That was her logic, at least, and she was going to stand by it.
As the old wolf continued, she perked up and opened her mouth - only to pause as she tried to recall those details. The fur color was easy - that’s what she was looking out for, after all - but the name.... oh what was it...?
She was normally a bit better at remembering people’s names, but she usually had a face to associate them with. Without it, she was honestly drawing up a blank.
Hm... perhaps something close to it would work? Or what she thought was close to it.

RP Response: Lost Daughter waited until the elder wolf bid her inside the cave. It was difficult to resist the desire to turn back, but she pushed forward in hopes of finding any clue leading back to the missing pup. For all she knew, the child's bones could be scattered amidst the carnage in the cave. Lost was no fool, she knew what the bones looked like.
She held her tongue, it was time to keep her wits sharp.
At the elder wolf's request, she detailed what information she could remember being told of the pup. Most of it had gone through one ear and out the other - it wasn't as if there had been many missing pups in the area. All Lost could do was hope that the information she shared would be enough. RP Response: She watched the old wolf enter her den with the rose, leaving her at the entrance. She only moved inside once invited, and still, she approached cautiously. Why did this wolf give her such a bad feeling? Perhaps it was the bones all over the floor of the cave, or how the wolf was behaving. Regardless, she would take what help she could get and remain cautious. As she started to answer the wolf's questions, the details became foggy. She recalled as much as she could and relayed them to the old wolf.

RP Response: Mourning Dove flicked her ears nervously, but was relieved when her offering had been accepted. When the yellow eyes vanished, she tried to prevent her fur from bristling. Where had they gone? She took a silent breath in and then turned her attention back to the old she-wolf.

RP Response: Kindle tilted her head in slight confusion, a little wary of what might happen, but also horribly curious about this whole affair. Thankfully, she didn't have to wait long. The old seer came back quickly.
"Thank you." She offered, though it wasn't clear if it was to the seer or the other that resided in the cave.
Also... the bones. They were everywhere.
Kindle sat where indicated and gazed at the seer, giving her most of her attention. Blinking at the simple enough request.

Now that you have the answers you waste no time leaving the cave, eager to get away from whatever bad energy was lurking within. You travel to the river alongside the cave, spotting the fallen tree she spoke of almost immediately. It drapes over the top of the river, although you can tell it's balancing delicately on either end of the uneven banks. You weigh your options, eyeballing the current.
There's enough space under the tree that the river currents could sweep you underneath and down the river. How strong of a swimmer are you? You could cross the tree, but what if it falls and throws you into the river? You're not sure you could upright yourself in such a strong current if you're thrown in at a bad angle.
Then again, you're not sure you could out swim the current, either.
Your options are;
A. Cross using the fallen tree B. Swim carefully through the river.

RP Response: Mea nodded and left quickly after that, eager to keep looking. It looked like she wouldn't be getting much more help from the old wolf anyway. With a thoughtful look towards the river, she traveled along it until she came across the fallen tree - and the precarious options she had to get across. Neither way seemed all that safe, but then, few things out here in the wilds were. The questions was: which route was better?
Technically speaking, the old wolf hadn't said anything about using the tree to cross. That said, one way guaranteed that she got wet, while the other was maybe a 50/50 chance.
In the end, after humming thoughtfully for a minute, Mea slowly stretched a paw up before hopping onto the tree. If it broke, then she'd end up in the current regardless, right? At least this route had her possibly staying dry. Did You Equip An Item?: No

RP Response: She was happy to be gone from the old seer, but also grateful for her help. She muttered a thank you as she darted out of the cave and headed towards the river. She was hopeful that the seer had set her on the right path, but now her dilemma was crossing the river. She spotted the fallen tree that the seer had mentioned and considered her options. She could use the tree to cross, and possibly fall in, or try to swim across. Either way there was a possibility of being in the water, so she would go with the tree. At least she could try not to get in the water.

RP Response: Kindle was a little uneasy as she watched the Seer, wondering if this was supposed to happen? She'd never really been around a seer before and only had the stories she'd heard to go off of. And then she spoke and the scout listened. Her heart caught in her throat at her first words, but then she was reassured the pup had not drowned.
Information gained, Kindle bowed her head in respect. "Thank you for you help. I am sorry I did not have all the information. I do appreciate you helping me." With that, the fiery wolf left on swift paws, seeking out what she was told. And then she found it! The fallen tree.
While she didn't have much time to waste, Kindle still took a moment to seriously consider her options. The fallen tree did provide an unsteady and possibly dangerous bridge... but she wasn't as confident in her ability to swim either.
After more time then she should have taken, Kindle carefully began easing along the fallen tree. Did You Equip An Item?: n/a

RP Response: Listening to the old seer, he was anxious to go out and look for the pup. But as he was shaking his head, the hag got short tempered and ill towards Ash.
"Dont have to tell me twice. Thanks for your help"
Traveling down the bank, Ash quickly came upon the tree that was giving passage across the water. Looking closely, Ash could tell it was teetering on the edge of the bank and wasn't looking to sturdy. He wasn't great with balance being a bigger wolf, plus the current was looking pretty rocky. Ash knew how to swim and he knew how to take it easy and feel around before making the next step. He would fall off anyways if he went on the log and then he would be attempting to right himself up.
With a long huff. Ash took a step into the river and started to cautiously make his way across. Did You Equip An Item?: N/A

Leg Bone Red Rose - used
RP Response: With a sharp nod and soft utterance of gratitude, River Hawk bent and took the bone between her teeth. She definitely had a feeling she could use it later.
When she came to the fallen tree, the she-wolf stopped and eyed the path chosen for her with disdain. Sure, she was an excellent swimmer, but that current was strong. Then again the precarious way the tree balanced on either bank did little to reassure her that she'd be able to get across that way, either.
She took a deep breath before she hopped up on the fallen trunk, holding her head high while using the leg bone between her teeth as a makeshift counterbalance for her weight.
