Result 1At first, your guide looks stunned, clearly not expecting such an action. As they watch you smiling at them, however, shock dissolved to glee as they return the gesture. (2 Points) Result 2Clearly, this was unexpected. Your guide yanks their hand away and regards you curiously, though not in anger. As they turn away, you swear you detect a bit of a blush on their cheeks. (1 Point) Result 3You do nothing, and so nothing changes. It’s… nice… but seems like something was left undone. (0 Points)

You’re beginning to become used to the sensation of feeling nothing. No breeze, no sunlight, no chill, not even the weight of atmospheric pressure. Next to you, your guide is picking stars from the black sky around them, fashioning them into something in their hands, but the way they are positioned, you can’t make it out. Not until they turn to you with a smile and present what they have made. A delicate and glittering diadem made from starlight itself. Despite it having no framing aside from the points of light that were the stars themselves, you could swear that when the light shifted just so you could make out a crystalline structure. Gently, almost reverently, they place the diadem on your head. Feeling compelled to return the gesture, you fashion… Option 1A matching diadem. If you are going to be royalty, then you want your new friend to be royalty with you. Option 2A pair of star earrings. Not wanting to overshadow your friend’s natural beauty, you pull two single stars from the sky and press them to their earlobes. Option 3A string of stars. You carefully fasten the string around their neck, and it hangs just to their clavicle. Quote: Chose one option as your answer! Her guide was up to something, though by now Liliane had settled into a comfortable familiarity. She was sure that this guide meant her no harm, not now at least, not after everything she'd been shown and the care it had expressed. She was even beginning to feel a sense of serenity out here in the weightless expanse of the void, there was just something a bout it that was...nice.
Weird, given she was someone who rather enjoyed company and the bustle of every day life!
Nevertheless as her guide stooped down to play with the glimmering astral sand, Liliane did turn to watch. Lips parting in a surprised 'oh' at the diadem that was soon set on her head. Had she ever seen anything prettier and more carefully constructed? She would have to be honest and admit that no, nowhere before had she seen anything to this quality.
...But a gift deserved one back, at least in her eyes.
Thus the young woman leaned down to craft something from the sands herself, choosing to create two matching earrings. They would never match her guide's craftmanship, but she also dared not make anything too garish for fear of it looking worse than it should. Sometimes the simple looked the most beautiful in the end...

Smiling Evren watched as her guide made something out of the stars and then place it on her head. Evren didn't think that she should be the only one with some sort of headpiece and decided to make a matching one for the guide. Putting it on their head Evren stepped back and smiled at the guide.

If Nataniel had begun to blush just from the being's smile, when she turned to him and held out a star spun diadem, there wasn't even a word to fully encompass how awkward he felt. What- what was this? For half their time together, he'd considered her to be almost chiding him, someone who thought they knew better and expected more from him than whatever he was delivering. She did peculiar things, tiny things, like show him stars or fashion him gifts.
Like this one. Nataniel truly had no idea how to respond as she placed the diadem atop his head. His only thought was that she must regard him as a child, someone who needed instruction and perhaps some kind of affectionate encouragement.
He wondered if she had a bit of that childish mindset herself.
"It's a bit gaudy," he murmured softly, the first time either of them had spoken. And no amount of gay would justify wearing that much glistening star points. He swallowed as he regarded her. Anything he did would be ridiculous, truly, but she seemed quite pleased with herself, and even if he was rude, Nataniel wasn't cruel.
Feeling absurd even as he did it, he plucked two stars from the sky. Heat crawled for his face because even that much was... nonsense. Utter nonsense. But as she had done for him, he took the stars from the sky and fastened two sparkly points at her earlobes.
He was more of an earring type of guy, anyway.

Noelle was a little disappointed when her guide yanked their hand away from hers. But then she spotted the blush on their cheeks. This caused her to smile. They were just embarrassed! Noelle chuckled to herself. That was perfectly fine then. She was just happy that they weren’t upset with her. The two continued along, Noelle was getting used to being in space at this point. She felt relaxed, and was having a good time.
Noelle watched as her guide turned away from her. They were gathering what appeared to be bits and pieces of stars. What could they possibly be doing with those? Noelle tried to peek over their shoulder just as their guide turned around revealing a beautiful diadem that they then placed on Noelle’s head. Noelle beamed with joy. She wanted to make something in return for her friend. “Oh I know!” She began to gather stars and fashioned them into a necklace, that she then hooked around her guide’s neck.

Result 1You guide laughs soundlessly and curtsies at you in an exaggerated fashion. They are pleased with their gift, but you do wish you had been more original in retrospect. (0 Points) Result 2You had worried that they would be too simple, but seeing them on your friend, you realize now that it was a perfect choice. They don’t even need to see their reflection to know how well the earrings suit them and they positively glow with joy. (2 Points) Result 3Your guide gazes down on their new necklace with a smile, holding the delicate stars between their fingers. They seem pleased with their new necklace, and so are you. (1 Point)

Newly accessorized, you and your friend are now communicating in glances and gestures. Somehow, having only known them for the span of a few hours, you instinctively know what they mean and vice versa. It’s… it’s nice. Calm washes over you as you walk past planets and moons, suns and asteroids, whole solar systems and even galaxies. She points to some, others you notice on your own. It’s breathtaking. Delight washed over her. Her companion liked the gift, it suited them perfectly and she felt an unusual sense of relief. She couldn't quite place it but she wanted to make sure her guide was happy. They might have started off on the wrong foot but in the end, they seemed to have settled into a comfortable relationship.
...A part of her didn't want that to end.
Yet another part of her knew that eventually she would have to go home; as wonderful as this was, she had a life on earth and there would be those who missed her dearly. To vanish without a trace, to leave everyone behind, was just something she couldn't do no matter how much she might have wanted to explore.
All she could do was hope that maybe some day she could travel through the stars again.
