Freth and Tyrogue continued on; the Tyrogue dripping wet from his encounter. "So, not so tough as you thought huh?"
"TY-ROGUE!"
"Shut up? Why? You tried to show yourself all big and bad, and at the same time, despite having the means to actually dealing damage to a Frillish, you let your pride get the better of you and she schooled you! Just HOW did you get by in that blasted mall I found you in?" Tyrogue just crossed its arms and turned its head away from Freth, not giving an answer.
".....hmm..." Freth started to stare curiously at the Tyrogue, wondering what was this Tyrogue's deal. It would have to come in time...

After catching Fomantis, Wren decided it was time to leave the ruined dome and headed to the main area, stopping by the desk to alert the contest attendant that he was moving to a different location, just in case he got lost and didn't report back on time. Better to have someone know where he was, after all.
Heading into the main area, he noted the stark contrast between here and the testing dome. The flora was less unique here but the plantlife he could find seemed to be doing just as well. Making sure that the sample he'd collected earlier was labeled, he collected one from here before getting too far. Less risk of ticking something off closer to the exit.
As the two continued to explore the flooded areas, they heard the bubbling oozing of something nearby. Around a corner of some machinery, a Grimer came out, but something was interesting to note...this...didn't look like normal Grimer. Was it something that the reactor did to the Grimer over time...or maybe... "An Alolan variant?" Freth asked, genuinely curious. She wouldn't put it past it considering that her significant other got his hands on a icy Vulpix of all things. Though that being said, getting a Grimer wasn't exactly enticing to get. Regardless, however, Tyrogue without a command being given started marching in front.
"Uh, you...really want to fight that thing? After your 'stellar' performance with that Frillish a little bit ago?" Freth asked.
"ROGUE TYROGUE!"
Freth leaned up against machinery crossing her arms. "You got experience fighting Gri-ugh...Alright, don't come crying to me." Freth said, about to wait on the ensuing humiliation to begin.
"TYYYROOOGUE!" The Tyrogue rushes in, leaping in with a High Jump Kick and actually landed his mark, but then something Freth found hysterical. Tyrogue got stuck in Grimer's sludgy body.
"GRRIMERRRR! GRRRIMEERR!" The Grimer started to panic, more than what Freth would of thought one would have done. Checking with her SNAG, she found out why. "Huh...Alolan variants are part Dark type, so that did pretty much hurt." Freth then looked back at the Grimer and Tyrogue as the Poison and Dark typed flailed and ran about, desperate to get Tyrogue...well...out of him.
"ROOOGUE!"
"You know, I got to record this..." she said, switching the SNAG to a camera function. It was perhaps mean as hell, she knew, but it was all part of the proverbial long game in getting Tyrogue's act straight.
As Freth recorded, Tyrogue got absorbed into the Grimer's body, body and all. Tyrogue punched and kicked from within for the better part of a few seconds before Grimer spat up the Tyrogue onto the ground. Tyrogue looked traumatized for a moment as patches of sludge started to slink off of Tyrogue's body. "Oh, guess what, Tyrogue, looks like a bath is in your future." It snapped Tyrogue out of the trance, infuriating the little fighter type. The Tyrogue then rushed in then went low with its Low Kick attack, making the Grimer yelp. The Grimer, however, had enough, reared back and socked the Tyrogue right into the ground with its Pound attack, leaving Tyrogue with the look of its face as if to ask 'what just hit me'? In the meantime, the Grimer scooted itself away from the battlefield.
"I thought you had experience fighting Grimer?"
Another growl came from the kid fighter type.

"So what else do you want to show me 'Tough Guy'? Maybe before I know it, you'll show me how to deal with Happiny and Caterpies, huh?"
"Tyrogue rooogue!"
"Oh me? Enjoying this? Well..." She flipped open her SNAG showing Tyrogue the last battle that he had. "You're giving me gold to show the others when we get back."
Tyrogue's face went pale then reached to snatch Freth's SNAG away, only for Freth to jerk away before the Tyrogue could reach it. "Nope. Not today. Because who would believe little ol' me when I just merely say big, bad Tyrogue got schooled by a jellyfish and a pile of grime."
"Tyrogue rogue tyrogue!"
"Oh you'll show me, huh? Well, you showed me a lot already. You KNOW..." Freth said. "...maaaaybe if you listen to me when you go do these battles, maybe...just maaaybe...you might have a better shot, hm?"
After moving about some machinery, the two circled around along the side of where the waters met the floor as if an artificial beach. As the two walked along, something caught the attention of both Freth and Tyrogue. A frillish, only blue in color this time and the tentacles without feather-like frills. "Huh, first the female, now the male." Freth said. "So, want to go face first into that again, Tyrogue?"
Yes, the Tyrogue was, though to merely show that it can actually stand up to the likes to a Frillish. "Tyrogue rogue!" Freth could only roll her eyes at this point. She couldn't believe how stubborn this Tyrogue was being. She just stood behind as she crossed her arms and waited.
The Frillish took notice to Tyrogue; the fighter type yelling at it, challenging the blue jellyfish to a fight. The Frillish didn't even seem all that interested Tyrogue at all. Tyrogue focused on the Frillish, leading off its attack with Foresight. Freth stood there, watching, humored that Tyrogue finally lead off with that as opposed to last time. Frillish wouldn't allow Tyrogue to go beyond that. The Frillish unleashed a powerful, foamy water attack, a Brine, which blasted the Tyrogue away for a bit. And with the damage that the Tyrogue took in the prior two fights made this Brine attack even worse. Tyrogue was having a considerable amount of trouble getting up now. The Frillish then had its eyes trained on Freth.
"Hey, I'm just watching." Freth said, raising her hands up. "You know, little guy a little too full of himself. You know. Kids."
"ROGUE!"
"Shut up."
The Frillish then turned back around into the waters and went on about its business. Freth then looked down at the Tyrogue then knelt over. "So, you done?"
"Rrrrrrr..."
"I didn't quite hear that."
"Ty-rogue..."
Freth picked Tyrogue up off the ground and carried him off. Good news was that she didn't need to use a Revive. However, the Hyper Potion she bought just before she went on this excursion was going to get used, and pretty quickly. Then again, she expected it to happen this way."

Freth carried Tyrogue off and sat him down on the floor up against a nearby machine that long since had been left forgotten to time. Freth pulled out the Hyper Potion and was about to tend to Tyrogue until the little fighter type started to jerk away, wanting none of it. "Hey!" She said, snatching him back and pinning him. "I thought you were done." Tyrogue stopped fighting her at that point. Freth went on to tend to Tyrogue's injuries, Tyrogue wincing as the hyper potion done its job.
"So, you mind telling me what the hell is the chip on your shoulder is all about." No answer. "I got the feeling its why you were found all by your lonesome back in that mall." Still no answer. "None of the Pokemon in there wanted anything to do with you back in there, didn't they? I basically done them a favor, haven't I?" Yet again, no answer. "With your performance, I'd say it was fortunate you didn't get taken out of the picture permanently, because I am pretty sure a good number of Pokemon could have done that. And yet you wanted to take on the rest of the team who had YEARS worth of battling experience on you?"
"Ty-rogue."
"You could have taken-are you serious? You had one Frillish that laughed at you, a Grimer that punched your lights out, and another Frillish that wanted nothing to do with you! And those ones you probably could have beaten if you didn't have your head all the way-..." Freth sighed. "Tyrogue, just what in the hell makes you think that you're Superman, huh? News flash, you're not, and making a piss poor attempt at bullying everyone that you come across isn't going to do you any favors either. Now, you going to get yourself beat up again or you going to listen to me now? Because if you decide to go with reckless abandon again, you're not going to get up until I put you in Doc Owl's bed and who knows how long you're staying in there. And Orderly doesn't put up with crap like yours, let alone Doc himself. Now you want to be a good battler? Or a punching bag?"
"....."
"I can't hear you? Want to be that punching bag after all?"
"Ty-rogue."
"You're going to listen to me now?"
"Rogue."
"Alright, let's do this right from the top." She said, getting up.
Heading into the area properly after collecting his soil sample, Wren found himself standing before a muscle-bound Pokemon wielding a four by four. "Huh..." He was going to ignore the Timburr and simply move on in search of something else to potentially train against while researching the area. Unfortunately, Timburr had other plans. When it spotted them, it struck the ground with it's lumber and knocked a large stone from the earth before swinging again while the stone was upended. The second hit sent it flying toward Wren and Anemone via Rock Throw.
"Anemone!" Wren exclaimed, jumping in front of the bee and conjuring a thicket of wild vines to block the large stone. "We need to teach this one a lesson on leaving things be." He told his partner. "Use Air Cutter." He directed. Anemone nodded and beat her wings furiously, sending a wave of blades forged from the air itself at the Fighting-type. Timburr blocked the attack with it's 4x4 only for the board to be sliced right through by the attack.
"Burr?!" It cried out in alarm, followed by flat anger at Anemone for ruining it's board. Drawing a fist back, a raging light began to coalesce around the fist.
"That's Focus Punch! You need to interrupt it's focus, Anemone! Use Air Cutter again!" Wren called out, recognizing the attack coming their way. Anemone duplicated her previous attack as instructed and watched as Timburr completely failed to evade the move, as focused as it was on it's upcoming punch. The attack did, indeed, break it's focus, the energy remaining from the focus was enough to let it use Dynamic Punch. Unfortunately, it was a highly inaccurate attack and the wild swing wasn't able to make contact. "Anemone, use Bug Bite!"
Anemone nodded and stabbed the Fighting-type with her energy-forged proboscis right in the arm. Snapping it's arm back and glaring at Anemone, the Muscular Pokemon waved a hand at her dismissively before walking away, deciding it wasn't worth it to battle without it's lumber any longer.

Turning away from Timburr's now vacant spot, Wren found himself looking at a sight he didn't quite understand. A black salamander was stretched out on a rock near the main entrance to the building they were heading into, surrounded by a small congress of others just like it only pale white for some reason, ogling it and giving it lascivious looks. "I feel like that needs an adult logo on it..." He told himself before moving on before he bore witness to something no one should ever see.
"Gon." The sand dragon sniffed and turned her head, looking rather grumpy and disdainful towards the Gible, who was looking around rather hungrily.
"Gib." The little Gible would waddle over to Tatooine finally, staring at her tail long and hard. "Giiiiiib..." His jaw would start to open wide, like he was about to chomp down on it, before he was distracted by a rummaging sound his trainer was making. "Gib?"
Aile was digging through a backpack she was carrying, opening up an insulated bag and pulling out a drumstick of some sort. "Rancor, no. You can eat this, not Tati's tail."
"Gib!" The little, bright blue creature would rush over and chomp down on the hunk of leg meat, refusing to let go.
"Ah..." Aile would pull the bone upwards, dragging Rancor along with it. "Right.... Tati, let's go. Any longer, and rancor might realize what's in the backpack..." Tati would stare at her tail for a moment before looking up at Rancor in bewilderment, following her trainer as they entered the research facility.

Moving onward and attempting to scrub the scene he'd just walked away from from his memory, Wren and Anemone ventured into the dilapidated building in search of something of value. "Is this place even safe? Why were we allowed in here?" He asked Anemone, looking at just how worn out the building appeared to be. Just as they entered the main door, however, a Pokeball rolled into their path.
"Tooooorb!" It screeched, not moving any further.
"I'm pretty sure I know what that it is..." Wren replied, his anxiety mounting for a brief moment. "It doesn't look very strong, though... Try using Bug Bite." He instructed.
Anemone nodded and proceeded to make like a mosquito, biting the Voltorb hard.
The Ball Pokemon couldn't get away fast enough but countered with a Sonic Boom, blasting an incredibly powerful soundwave toward Anemone. The Tiny Bee was rocked by the attack but it really didn't hurt that much.
"Swift!" Wren ordered. Anemone nodded and attacked with a swirl of star-shaped beams, which ended up doing plenty enough damage that Voltorb decided it wasn't worth pushing to defend territory it wasn't really claiming as it's own and it rolled away.
Wren and Anemone continued on their way after that, though not without taking a few minutes to rest and catch their breath. It seemed to have been near continuous battling since they had arrived here, after all.

"Another one?!" Ulla shouted as an angry Charjabug was chasing after them. The Charjabug used Electroweb to stop them from running as it then used Discharge. It shocked both Ulla and Comfey as they had some soot on there bodies. "Grass Knot then use Vine Whip!" She shouted as vines came from under the the bug as it trapped it. Comfey then used Vine Whip to launch it away from them as far as possible. Ulla sighed of relief as she grabbed Comfey. "C'mon. I'm not sure what everyone else rank is. But lets keep looking."

"...Still no good." She said as they were facing against a school of Tentacool. "I'm sure these are just commons." She said as she was about to move on but then a Tentacool shot Water Gun at the little girl. This got her new dress soaking wet. "....Petal Blizzard." She said as Comfey let loose a large storm of petals to make the water swirl into as it started to become a whirlpool. Making the Tentacool super dizzy as Ulla sighed.

Ulla's luck was not the best this time around as she was ready to give up. She looked at Comfey who was trying to cheer her up. Her head was down as she then heard a cute soft voice in the water. She looked towards the water "...Is that..." once she was able to distinguish what it was. Her eyes sparkled with excitement. "It's a Pichu!" She shouted as it was a small Pichu surfing. "Comfey go for it! Vine Whip." Comfey cheered happily as it went over to the Pichu. Both of them cheered until Comfey slapped it with Vine Whip as it knocked into the water. The Pichu popped it's head out of the water as it started screaming as it was using Disarming Voice.
Ulla and Comfey covered their ears. "Vine Whip again!" She shouted as Comfey this time used Vine Whip to pick up the Pichu to trap it. The Comfey squeezed the Pichu as it was struggling to break free. "It's time! Go Pokeball!" Ulla threw a Safari Ball at the Pichu.

Wren didn't even see the Joltik crawl onto him While he was resting. It was such a small critter that it's weight never even registered as he stood up and began to walk around the derelict building. "You know... I can't but wonder if all the Pokemon here were abandoned when the facility fell out of use or if they're wild ones that moved in afterward?" He finally asked Anemone, only noticing Joltik when he turned his head to look at her and saw the tiny bug on his shoulder. "Gah!" He yelped and swatted the tiny tick away.
Spider'Mon wouldn't be stopped so easily, however, and flung a String Shot at the the ceiling as it tumbled downward. Catching a ceiling tile just shy of squishing on the ground, Joltik flung itself skyward again, careening through the dusty air before flinging an Electroweb at Anemone.
Anemone dodged the tiny web with ease, her Lucky Egg catching it in her place but, since it didn't conduct electricity, it didn't make any difference to her. "Use Air Cutter!" Wren directed, knowing that this particular insect wasn't going to be defeated easily. It didn't have a weakness to any of Anemone's moves, after all. Anemone nodded to Wren's order and used the indicated move. Blades of wind came flying toward Joltik but it's even smaller size allowed it to evade with relative ease. Jumping off the wall it had landed on, it soared over the incoming attack easily and used Agility mid air to close the distance.
"I know Pokemon can do illogical things but really?" Wren asked, watching the Attaching Pokemon defy physics and pick up speed in mid air with no way of gaining even a poor facsimile of traction. "Dodge and use Bug Buzz!" While the Bug Buzz wasn't going to be an issue, dodging was. Joltik's newfound speed made it difficult to avoid and Anemone wound up with one of her faces full of mimic spider. Thankfully, Once she started buzzing louder and louder, the miniscule creature was knocked loose before it could do any more damage.
The bug wasn't giving up that easily, however and used Electro Ball, shrouding itself in a spherical aura of lightning before flinging it at Anemone. "Swift!" Wren ordered. A swirling whorl of stars was summoned by his little bee and flung rapid-fire at the incoming attack as well as it's progenitor. The first few beams put a stop to the Electro Ball, cracking it apart and showing the immediate area with sparks, and the remainder went after Joltik directly. No matter how it attempted to evade, though, the stars were close on it's heels until at last, they managed to hit their mark and leave the poor Bug down for the count.
Anemone - Female Ability: Honey Gather Hold Item: Lucky Egg
It was another Timburr Wren next encountered. Or maybe it was the same one? This one had a 4x4, though so if it was the same one, it had found a replacement since their last encounter. "Anemone, use Air Cutter!" Wren instructed. Anemone did as she was bidden, a series of bladed gusts slicing into Timburr only a moment later as the Tiny Bee Pokemon's skull with the move improved still further. The Fighting-type cocked it's head and spit on the ground in a show of defiance against defeat before it lunged at Anemone and swung it's weapon at her with far more grace than the last one had, using Chip Away to whittle down the Bug's stamina. What it had left of it, at least.
"String Shot!" Wren ordered. Anemone nodded and spit silken threads at Timburr, catching it's weapon and fighting against the Muscular Pokemon's movements. "Now stick it to the wall!" Wren directed. Anemone once again followed Wren's orders, spinning Timburr around and flinging it toward the nearest wall, where she proceeded to bury it's 4x4 in a thick layer of silk.
"Burr?!" Timburr cried out as it realized it had been disarmed. Just as the last one had, it seemed the fight not worth it's effort without it's weapon and hose to walk away.
