___ While Eli seemed to be thankful for her contribution based up the grateful smile he shot over his shoulder at her. However, Cali seemed to be more astute to the deviation between Nox's words and actions when she looked back at her. Though she recovered from her concerns about people peeking a lot faster than Cali did. It would be nice if Eli would extend that offer to umbrella all the girls in his care. Even though Yenna isn't around right now to add her own two cents to the topic Nox doubted she would enjoy being perved on any more than the other girls did. She didn't interrupt the two of them as Cali was cheering up and making a pun about him zapping them instead of just kicking their butts or web blindfolding them. Nox had a sneaking suspicion that Eli's personality had such knightly characteristics that even without being asked to or without any obligations he would chivalrously step in to put an end to any over the top leering even if it was aimed at Nox and Yenna instead of Cali. He'd probably just take it more personally if it was aimed at Cali. While she had been distracted by that line of thought Cali suddenly started to get noisier. She was pounding her fist against his shoulder and exclaiming that he shouldn't talk about stuff like that with their team leader, or probably anybody actually, so close. Whatever he had said had turned the faint pink on the girl's cheeks to a shade of scarlet that could almost rival the vivid color of Nox's irises, but it had done so with enough stealth to not draw a lick of Nox's attention, unlike Cali's reaction. The raven haired girl sighed softly in longing once more before commenting, ”You two are so lovey-dovey already.”
___ Their team came to a stop in the arena and continued their discussion about their teacher. Eli seemed to be really into the stories about how this teacher had a tenancy to break things. Nox could see some of the points and merits it had that contributed to why he had been using it to try to encourage Cali. Cali wasn't verbally responding to it all after her initial comments about the rumors but it seemed she was interested. Eli was just playing on that interest to encourage her. Now that Nox had some more time to check out all the faces here she didn't see Yenna here. 'She isn't here? I hope she isn't late for class.' As the thought crossed her mind the familiar old timey voice rang out from the door behind them. Nox turned around to see the petite bunny girl coming fully into the arena. Nox's combat partner took her spot beside her team leader with a compliment. Nox smiled at her to show her gratitude for the compliment. ”It's just my huntress outfit, Yenna. It might look good on me, but I don't know about being as good as a goddess. I certainly cant imagine that it compares to that dress Cali put you in at the ball.” Nox said humbly. Yenna certainly seemed fired up for the class though. As rather than greeting the others outright she just jumped right into the bits of conversation she had overheard Eli saying on her way in. Listening to her you could be forgiven for thinking she had been with them for the entire walk from their dorm room to the arena.
___ Nox turned her head so that she could look at Cali. The brown haired girl was leaning away from Eli's side and had her sandy eyes fixated on her. The expression she gave the girl was one of surprise since she hadn't figured anyone would of heard her grumbling. It quickly returned to a more neutral one and Nox replied to the other girl. ”Yeah dust. Do you remember what I told everyone about my semblance on our way to and while we were at the infirmary after that incident in the cafeteria?” Nox turned around once more. Putting the entrance to the arena to her back once more. She gave an encompassing gesture as if pointing to everywhere in the area as she turned her head so that she was looking at Cali in particular as she continued. ”Dust is everywhere, and I can sense it, interact with, and control it. However, every place has different concentrations of dust that are available at any given time. If it is used it takes time for more to gather too. I was just grumbling to myself that this place where we are likely going to have to wage battle doesn't have much available in it.” Nox paused for a bit and her eyes drifted towards Eli for a moment. ”It's not all bad. Some peoples semblances may supply some, and if any of the other student use dust some residual particles will be left behind that I can use. I also have my own dust vials as well of course, though with as rare as the stuff is right now you could see why I would prefer to avoid using those whenever possible. That said, Eli, try not to get yourself into too much trouble.” Since by now her discussion with Cali probably had everyone's attention Nox decided to go ahead and add her own nagging against Eli putting himself into extra danger trying to cover for them. Nox wasn't far behind Cali in worry about the boy and his heroics, and if the dust supply dries up or the timing is wrong Nox couldn't cover for him like she did in the cafeteria when Felix went berserk.
___ After her words of caution which really could apply to everyone about not pushing themselves to far, not just Eli, Nox turned her attention towards the arena. Standing there as she eyed the cages and other students interactions. Her facial expression showed that she was calculating. At the cafeteria she had confessed that coming up with high grade tactical plans for combat wasn't her best field but she wasn't incapable. She could manage simple plans on her own that could work out well thanks to their sheer simplicity. Cali and Eli were currently discussing one of the other students between themselves when things suddenly got more interesting. A loud grimm call that filled the arena and echoed off the stands above them. The ground was covered in shade moments after. Nox lifted her head and looked up into the sky as Cali clung to Eli's side. Overhead a scene one doesn't see everyday and likely would never see again even if they lived a long life was unfolding. A nevermore was the source of the loud bellowing screeches assailing everyone's ears as it tried to attack a smaller grimm which seemed to be being ridden around by someone. The griffon's rider killed it and entered a free fall. It looked as though it would end poorly as they feel towards the nevermore's gaping beak. Somehow they got past it and hooked what looked like an over sized grappling hook onto the sides of the giant bird grimm's beak. The line yanking the bird from the sky. As it plummeted it tried to fight the forces of gravity. Blasts of wind being forced down into ground where it was then forced outwards throughout the arena. Nox crossed her arms in front of her face and stepped forward to lean into the air current to resist the air blast. As the air passed over her team's location she felt her coat and hair extend out behind her and flap wildly, the coat's hem even making a few cracking noises like those from a whip from the sharp movements the wind put it through.
___ Moments later the nevermore slammed into the arena seating on the far side from the entrance where they were standing. Nox lowered her arms and straightened up once more as she took in the impressive sight. ”So Eli... She living up to all your expectations yet?” She asked in a half joking, half shocked tone. This was after all above and beyond anything she would of expected. Even from a teacher famed for breaking stuff. The big woman that had dropped from the sky into the center of the arena and was now addressing them all definitely had to be their teacher. Her name matched. She didn't get very far into her introductions though. The nevermore regained consciousness quickly and it turned the chain that had just grounded it upon its owner like a turn around in the advantage during a game of tug of war. The giant bird pulled Rachel in and then threw the girl away. The chain surprisingly got caught upon something and saved their teacher. It, the nevermoere, then turned its yellow eyes upon the students before it. Nox only noticed then that the third cage that Rachel had been asking about was only missing because it got caught under the nevermore when it crashed. That impact had destroyed the thing and released the grimm from within. The newly freed grimm came out from the nevermore's shadow and stomped onto something Rachel had dropped on the arena floor. When it did Nox snapped her head around to the biggest cage, which was the closest to them, as she was certain she had heard what sounded like an electronic dead bolt system disengaging. She glanced back to the other new grimm as it launched a fireball at another team. That was her last chance to observe the other teams.
___ Nox had indeed heard the locks on the cage next to them coming undone, whatever was inside had just thrown the door wide open. ”Get ready guys!” Nox shouted out moments before a huge grimm came slithering out of the cage. She pulled her weapon and activated her aura while keeping a close eye on their opponent's movements as the giant snake swiftly approached them and within moments had coiled it's body around their group. The black head had its red eyes fixated on Yenna. It wasn't the head that was letting everyone see it that concerned Nox. This was a King Taijitu and these things had two head. The second head always tried to attack from stealth. Nox's pupils contracted to slits to sharpen her vision as she also used her pit organs to sense the heat coming from the grimm's body. Her gaze quickly scanned over its body until she spotted the other head hiding in the coils. Nox kept herself facing towards the black head, not wanting white head to suspect that it had been noticed yet. Cali's nervousness was sure to draw a grimm's attention and since the one head was focused on Yenna right now Nox was willing to bet the other was interested in her. The moment that second head made it's move Nox reacted. Her semblance powering up and pulling in the green dust particles that were scattered in the air around them. ”Not happening.” Nox claimed as the semblance weaved the dust to create an invisible hammerhead of condensed air and slam it into the white head to bash the striking head away from her ally. ”We need to relocate. If we antagonize the black head too much while encircled like this it will try to constrict us all.”

████████████████████████████████ █❖Team - STWR █❖Allies - Koryn, Sassy, Tessa and Richard █❖Location - Arena █❖Condition - Great
Sassy cheerfully returned a morning greeting to Eira. Tessa on the other hand didn't. The tall rhino faunus was seemingly too busy trying to deal with Koryn. Eira watched on as Tessa went over and grabbed hold of Koryn by her clothing. The moment she did Eira became worried for the butterfly. Tessa wasn't being very gentle about it which could endanger Koryn's delicate wings which Sassy would be warning her about after the fact. As things progressed Eira became equally or more worried about other delicate aspects concerning Koryn. Namely the revealing tribal clothing she often wore. All that covered Koryn's chest was a bra like top of light fabric and Tessa hoisting the other girl about by that little bit of fabric was dangerous for Koryn's modesty. Eira was worried that it would slip or break. Those worries appeared to be coming true too. Eira stepped forward around Sasselia to tell Tessa that she needed to put Koryn down. Before she could get that far though the fabric gave out. In seconds Koryn would be left completely topless. However, the other side of that handful of seconds didn't result in an exposed Koryn but rather Koryn completely poofed away.
Eira blinked in surprise. For the next couple seconds she stared through the empty space Koryn's illusion had just been in. Her mind trying to figure out what had happened to her teammate. She pivoted around to face the sound of Koryn's voice which was now coming from behind where Richard was standing. Eira hadn't noticed him coming over. He must of come over during the potential wardrobe disaster. She was in the middle of hugging Richard from behind while greeting him. Eira crossed her arms under her chest and scuffed softly at the other girl telling him not to tell her about that hug if he actually didn't want one. 'She makes it sound like I am her mother, or maybe her big sister who has taken over guardianship in our mother's absence might be more accurate.' Eira let out a soft sigh at that thought.
Koryn had let go of Richard by now and was shouting about everyone not getting to see her bubbies today. Making such a proclamation before she even confirmed that her top wasn't in fact damaged at all. It would have been funny in an horrifically embarrassing yet ironic turn had her top really been damaged and fallen away at that moment. Luckily for her though it seemed to be fine as she announced that it was indeed perfectly intact. It was then that Eira called out to her and Koryn finally noticed that Eira was there. She came over, attempting to haul Richard with her in doing so, and gave Eira what had become her standard greeting. Eira resisted the urge to smile at the other girl so that she could tease Koryn just a little. ”So, what are you not telling me about?” She questioned sternly, her arms still crossed beneath her bosom. The stern attitude really didn't fit Eira well and the facade broke very quickly as the stern act doubtlessly brought out some cute responses from Koryn, either from confusion at the unusual attitude or panic of being caught red handed. When it did break Eira broke out into giggles and flung her arms out around Koryn to hug her. As she hugged her she whispered into her ear. ”You're really lucky you can do that teleporty thing. What would you do if the whole class ended up seeing your girls?” Eira would suggest that she consider wearing more, but as best she could tell the vibrant colors and revealing garments that made up Koryn's unique sense of style were all tied to her tribe. So just telling her to wear something else was a no go.
That was all the time they would get for chit chat though. One minute all was in order and not five minutes later chaos, chaos everywhere. Their teacher had arrived with a nevermore in tow, destroying a large swath of the stands in the process. The giant bird had crashed down almost right on top of their group. Eira held onto Koryn through all the buffeting winds in case she might get blown away from it all catching her wings. What was even more problematic was that the crash had smashed the cage that was right beside them. A weird chimera looking creature of grimm came stalking out of it moments after the nevermore had thrown their teacher away. The manticore immediately zeroed in on them. Or maybe on Koryn in particular, its mouth filling with fire. The second it fired that fireball at them Eira activated her aura since an impending fight was obvious at this point. She also of course moved. She pushed Koryn along with her out of the path of that fireball. It didn't just end there either. The manticore had smashed the control system and grimm were emerging from all the cages while their teacher, who was now dangling upside down from a rafter or something, was yelling out assignments to all the gathered teams.
An insect like one called a lancer was also evidently after them. The bug firing its harpoon like stinger at Sasselia. From over here there was nothing Eira could do about that. At least they had gotten clear of that fireball. That would have been nasty if it hit them. She drew the sword from her hip and activated the weapon. After a second of whirling from mechanical parts the blade extended a short handful of inches before the blade split and then reset itself against what had been the hilt guard. The hilt also extended outward to become the shaft of a twin pointed spear. The spear's twin blades were positioned to either side of the weapon's dust tray and ammo drum. Gungnir's ranged form would be ready just as soon as Eira pulled three rounds of high caliber ammo from the belts at her waist and loaded them into the drum.

Tessa barely registered the presence of one of her old teammates near her, or even the words of Cecil, the blue haired ponce that had carelessly insulted her weeks ago, something she'd honestly almost completely forgotten. The rhino grunted in response as she continued chewing what she counted as her fourth breakfast bun before noticing a shadow briefly flicker overhead. Their, possibly, psychotic teacher came in ,riding in on a nevermore like Perseus on the back of Pegasus, shouting like mad and barking orders. Then it happened. The chaos, Gods the chaos! Roars, shouting, shots ringing out, the clicking of metal against metal and faint whirring of gears as weapons shifted forms. It all got Tessa's blood pumping and plastered a smile on her face. Morning person or not, she was wide awake now. There was an audible clicking of metal as her bracers opened and formed her clawed gauntlets, followed by a loud CLANG as the Lancer's harpoon glanced off of the surface of one of the weapons positioned in front of Sasselia. "Stand back" the rhino faunus said, placing a hand on the captain's belly and giving her a gentle push behind her frame before extending one arm out toward the Lancer. There was a faint click, followed immediately by a deafeningBOOMas Tessa detonated one of her shells inside the chamber. An explosive flower of red and orange bloomed out from the barrel positioned just above and behind her wrists, blossoming out several meters toward the grimm and bathing everyone and everything in the vicinity in the orange glow of a wildfire. "I have the shields, I'll keep its attention while you guys try and take it out. If one of you can get that stinger I'll try and ground it but I'm open to suggestions. Sound good?"

Azura Knight
Azura stood back and let Cecil make his challenge while keeping her distance. She knew she would spend all class fretting about it, but for better or for worse it would all be over in a few hours. She didn't have a chance to make a comment when Cecil returned to her side as a large shadow suddenly fell over the arena. Like most others, she looked towards the sky in curiosity. She watched in astonishment as their survival professor road on the back of a Grimm, flying after a much larger and much more terrifying Grimm. The Nevermore Cecil had spoken about. Surely she didn't mean to bring the beast down here? She watched in horror, certain the beast would swallow her whole as she fell from the sky after slaying the griffon. What could she do though? A Nevermore would hardly be deterred by a few sniper rounds. Then she watched in awe as she hooked the creature's beak and swung onto it's back. It was completely reckless and could have gone wrong in about a hundred different' ways, but Azura couldn't deny it was impressive. From the sky, they tumbled and it seemed they were going to crash when the bird started flapping frantically. It was all Azura could do to keep her footing as she bent forward against the blasts of wind that hit them. A large crash! She looked up again in time to see the beast hit the stands, destroying seats as it tumbled down towards all the students in the center until finally, it came to a rest on top of the other cages. For a second Azura feared the worst until Professor Anderson popped up from under a mass of feathers, looking much worse for wear.
The Nevermore hadn't started dissolving into dust though, which meant it was still very much alive. "Er...Professor." The timid girl tried to cut into Rachel's incoherent babbling to warn her of the nevermore, but she was too late. If only she could get over her shyness. It would have been almost comical if it hadn't been so deadly. The nevermore shook their Professor back and forth violently until she was flung free, giving them some parting words. They had their orders. Kill the Nevermore. Azura braced her sniper against her shoulder and opened fire, the large calibre gun kicking back violently. It would certainly be a lot more painful for the creature than the pistols the other two carried, but she would need to do more than that to cause a distraction. Only the nevermore would see the illusion the huntress in training made. Everyone would vanish from sight, as would the sounds they made, though it would still feel the pain of her teammates attacks. Instead, a lone copy of Azura would appear carefully placed out of the way of the other students. Well an almost copy. The most notable difference was the fake Azura had a symbol on her back of three adjoined swirls."Hey, bird brain!" The illusion Azura shouted. "I bet you aren't dangerous at all, are you, you great ugly brute!" If that didn't work, she would need to take more drastic measures. After all, it was emotion and aura that attracted the Grimm. The illusion had neither, but with so many bodies running around it hopefully wouldn't know the difference.

Narx nodded when Danaë told him what to do. He hated the idea of swinging his hammer with her on the other end, but it was a very smart way to launch her. The worst part wouldn't be if it failed. It would be if it succeeded. He would effectively be tossing his girlfriend into the sky to attack a Manticore alone. She was quick though and likely wouldn't get snatched. The Manticore, unlike the nevermore, was very muscular and slow. If he saw that she was in peril he would launch a massive wind blast at it to knock it off its bearings. He only could do that move three times, but it was powerful enough to topple Pegasi out of the sky so it would surely slow the Manticore down, and maybe even the Nevermore if he was lucky."Yes Ma'am!" He shouted with glee, as he rushed over towards Richard's side. He gave his friend a nod so he could ready himself."On the count of three!"He stretched his arms and back before grabbing the handle of his cumbersome hammer. It was easily the largest weapon in the arena. Likely weighed more than most students here. He lifted it with easy and swung it behind him."THREE!"He said lifting the weapon and beginning his swing. He wouldn't do a swing swing, he would twirl it for maximum effect."TWO!"Narx shouted as he finished his first circle. It was a strange maneuver, but he was gaining momentum. It was now that Danaë would have to latch herself onto the hammer for maximum effect. Narx suddenly slammed the hammer into the air as it to hit an invisible enemy. The wind around the move could be felt like a rushing breeze off the topside of a cliff."NOW!" If all had worked well Danaë would be sent flying towards the Manticore with incredible speed. He hoped she would be okay.
"Rich, you and I should prepare to defend Chase as he goes to catch Danaë."He shot a diabolical grin at his battle buddy. Fighting with Rich was always fun. "Got any fancy new moves to show me?"He would ask as he started to run towards the manticore.I got one for you!"He wasn't about to do it just yet, but he was hoping this fight would be fun, but part of him just wanted everyone to be okay. He needed to stay back enough to heal Chase and Danaë if they got injured, but after that he wanted to slug this Manticore in the face with his hammer.

Ridley and Adam seemed friendly. It was enough for the blue-haired female to speak up at their parting words with a calming demeanor. "It was l-lovely to meet the pair of you as well, and hope next time we will have more time to socialize." She also hoped the next time of speaking there was less tension and curiosity. The crates in the arena were making due with both adjectives. What happened with Koryn though was a total surprise. The moment Tessa was about to put her down the butterfly had somehow popped out of sight before any bare skin could be revealed on the woman's upper half. It was hard not to be red in the face b such a predicament. All Sasselia could do was drop her jaw open with astonishment, luckily snapping out of it when Richard had arrived to them, speaking of teaching Tessa how to talk with others. Where on earth did Koryn go though!? "Hm. That is not my place to speak of to her, nor to speak judged her based on her first off idea to solve a problem. Of course I have managed to say what I am able on the matter, which for next time things will be better situated. Such as the likes of the four of us knowing each other better down the road. It is nice to see you Richard. I am happy to see you are seeming to be doing well!" With a charming smile upon her complexion, the sudden arrival of Koryn sneaking up on Richard changing her expression to one of shock, and it almost made the woman fall back on her butt from losing her balance. What on earth did she just do!? Was that Koryns' semblance? The way the faunus spoke it was as if it was an innocent practical joke she tried to pull. Well it certainly worked! Invisibility or smoke screen? Or was it all an illusion... Whatever the trick to Koryns' semblance was, it was worth making a mental note about for later. As for the moment the task at hand seemed more important. Her happiness to Richard and going as far as hugging him made Sasselia take a step back incase she was going to be pulled in. The first hug Koryn gave her she had fainted from it, as she was unused to such friendly physical contact. The comment towards Eira however did not sit well, and before she could say anything about that, the butterfly was already trying to take him with her over to their other teammate. Luckily for him the man was able to escape back to his own team no issue. While the other two conversed, Sasselia had turned her attention back to Tessa, before reverting her gaze back to the covered cages. "Hm. Do you think we may be fighting whatever will be under there? I mean it would make sense since we were required to bring out weapons...."
Before anymore could be said, the arrival of Rachel and the sky darkening up, had seemed to make everybody look up. Why on earth was that lady riding down on a nevermore!? What a completely dramatic entrance to boot! Such a stylish way of arrival if the nevermore had not been looking to be giving the woman such a hard time. It was especially apparent when the bird and woman had come crashing down into a part of the stands. She unsheathed Gravityflux and activated her aura, believing at first they were all going to be taking on the nevermore. She did not prepare for the worst of the chaos about to happen, especially during the introduction of the bird riding woman introducing herself as their teacher. Dang that bird was a rebellious one wasn't it!? It flung the teacher right off of it along with releasing gusts of wind down upon everyone. It made her look away to close her eyes from the dirt around being kicked up, adn by the time she peeked her eyes open back forward she was almost hit by flame. Luckily for her both her and Tessa managed to dodge the flames shot at them, looking around then for Koryn and Eira, only to see Eira help them dodge to safety as well. Judging from the firin that had to have been "Kiwi." A manticore of all things!! "Are you two alright!?" She called over towards Eira and Koryn, turning her head back to Tessa, who was suddenly with her, having saved her from the Lancers' harpoon. Before she could thank her she was gently brought out of her firing range, as the rhino had fired out a wave of flame towards the grimm it seemed they would be facing. "Hm, nice shot." Hm? The plan Tessa gave out seemed like a pretty good idea, and the woman nodded to it, looking towards the other two. She cleared her voice, kicking into leader mode to speak up, prepared to fight the giant insect. "Sounds like a plan Tessa. Koryn~! Since you would be the flyer in the group Let's have you take it on from above to try and prevent the insect from flying any higher! Eira, you and I will take it from the sides and try to keep it contained in our area. We must try to pull the sucker in! Should it fire it's laner at one of us, let us proceed to inground the harpoon for Tessa to trap it! Let's do our best team!"

XXXFirst it started with that woman that it had managed to send flying off in the distance. What an annoyance such a small thing was. To think that a creature as rabid as a beowolf was capable of herding the group of griffon to their demise at the talons of this very Nevermore. Not only had she managed to lead it all the way here, but she had also managed to bring it down to the surface with a mighty crash that left the beast completely disoriented. It was clear from the burning red amber like eyes that looked around so uncertain at the countless students below that it was still in a frazzled mindset. After all, the arena itself continued to spiral and shake around it. Its vision had been completely jostled from the impact on the rafters, but such a capable beast was making a recovery far quicker than any of the lesser grimm that stood beneath it would. Despite such a state of uncertainty, that wouldn't stop the creature from continuing its slow but mighty flaps that threatened to blow the class as a whole away. It was with two more grand flaps that the creature would kick its mass from the ground. Perhaps if Adam had been a bit faster to reach the ankles, the bird's sight would've been obscured. There was just too much ground to cover and with the creature already flapping, the gust would surely hinder the approach as it finally took lift off. Though, Adam's presence hadn't gone unnoticed.
In fact, it was a mix of the two boy's of team DARK that managed to draw the dual sets of radiating reddened amber to gaze down upon them. The great nevermore would feel the bullets collide with its face and wing, shooting off small tufts of feathers and ricocheting off its beak. It stung, it was annoying, but most of all... It was attention-grabbing. Perhaps if it was a smaller caliber Nevermore, the damage would've been more apparent. Unfortunately for them, Rachel had brought only the deadliest of its kind with natural armor that could endure such pitiful blows. At least, in the beginning. As tufts of feathers were shot off, it was the grand avian that would unleash another screech that threatened to pierce the very heavens. Its grand wings would take it at least 50 feet off the ground with but a few mighty flaps. The creature would flex its talons as its doubled gaze would focus on the boys below. Arching its back, it prepared to throw its entire bulldozer of a mass at them to crush them beneath its very feet. At least, that was until a crack sounded against its eardrums. As a much larger caliber bullet struck its beak and managed to chip the durable material, its own head would jerk away from the impact. In that moment alone, the arena of students would vanish in an instant, sound and all. Such a sight managed to confuse the grand beast as its head cocked back and forth. It could not see nor hear any of its prior targets, but it could still very well feel them. Fear, anxiety, stress, anger. A plethora of negative emotions that kept the bird's focus, but overwhelmed it all the same from pinpointing where under this false reality.
It was a new voice that beckoned for its attention. One that very well would've tied the noose around the neck of someone so reckless if it hadn't been so tactful. The creature's gaze would fixate on a girl who stood so recklessly on her own, calling out for the creature in a slur of insults that it wouldn't understand. Only one thing mattered, and that was feeling its talons rind her flesh. Just as the creature intended to do with the boys below, it would begin a descent with its beak pointing towards the girl. Another shriek would follow as it reeled its upper body back, bringing its wide stretched talons forward. It had dropped by 30 feet before suddenly pulling its wings back to treat it like a parachute to keep from descending any further, stopping in the sky above the illusioned Azura. While the creature was a beast of destruction, it was no fool. It could feel the emotions, countless others surrounding it. While it couldn't be sure where they were, it knew there was more of them. In a flap far more powerful than the ones prior, it would bring its wings forward to unleash a volley of giant arrow-like feathers. A series of 20 sharpened tip feathers would be unleashed on the surface below, intending to pierce the illusion and cover the area around it within a span of 30 feet due to its own wingspan. The feathers were large and fast but were fired as shots in the dark. After all, the Nevermore had no way of seeing what laid beneath it under a veil of nonexistence.
The Nevermore wasn't ready to give up its reign in the sky alongside the Manticore and Lancer. In fact, there was a point to be made. This beast was the grand ruler of the sky, nothing dared to fare against it. If only Ridley had been closer to the great avian, then perhaps they would've been able to cripple its aerial dominance. While the Nevermore was ready to give its all, it still had no idea what awaited it underneath the invisible veil unless one of its feathers managed to strike the woman. How close it was to the ground would remain brief, for a few moments after unleashing such an attack it would guide its mass into a swoop. It would descend to soar only 10 feet above the ground, flying the lowest to the ground it had done yet. Dual sets of orbs would glance back and forth, looking for any additional prey to slaughter as it tried to do with Azura. In the midst of its soar, it would stretch its beak wide to unleash another roar like shriek. It would only travel 30 feet straight before flapping its wings once more, attempting to rise by 40 feet and take to the sky once more where it reigned and steer its flight pattern to circle right.

Richard Vin Malsule A Lancer of PrideX Semblance: Inactive
Richard would be a little taken a back when he felt a little heavier for a moment. Looking over his shoulder he saw that a Koryn appeared on his back with her arms around him. Wait when did she get there? He was a bit confused as the other supposed Koryn had suddenly vanished. Wait was that her semblance? Like an illusion of sorts? Well it certainly worked cause he was taken for a loop for sure. "I'm doing great. You seem cheery as ever." He would retort to the faunus's greeting. Though he would laugh a little bit as she attempted to pull him back to her team. In all cases she was trying but he was big compared to her. Plus with the armor, he wasn't exactly budging. "Listen Koryn, we can hang out after class. For now my team needs me." He would kindly say before managing to take his hand back. Parting with a smile he would turn back to his team.
Just about that time was when the teacher decided to make their grand entrance. Oh boy what an entrance it was. Out of nowhere a giant flying grimm would crash into the stands drawing the attention of nearly everyone. Richard would peer up as the Nevermore would then crush one of the cages as it landed. His lance and shield were already up and ready as the dust started to settle. It was then that Rachael would make her appearance and stating what needed to be done. Each team was given a creature to fight in a matter of moments. Team DARK got the big bird that the teach road in on. He would have to admit he was a bit envious as he wanted to fight the feathered beast. Though then it was stated his team's opponent... one he didn't recognize. A ball of fire would appear from the creature that was sent directly at a group of students, literally at the team he had just left. Good thing that they managed to get out of its path. Still his angry filled up a bit towards the large beast. The audacity of the creature to dare attack his friends was going to be its down fall.
As Richard was ready to charge it, the beast took to the skys. Danae's voice reached out to the team. She wanted to be launched up there to take it down. Couldn't hurt to try but he would of rather of been the one up there doing the take down himself. Yet...they probably didn't have the strength to get him up there in the first place. Though seeing that Narx need help in the matter, the cyan haired boy would go to his side. "I may have a trick up my sleeve." He would say in response to Narx. Richard would c**k his lance back with one arm and aim with the other. In an attempt he would try to toss the lance. It started out well going up through the air...but soon gravity took a hold. The weapon went far but not high enough to reach the manticore. It dropped back down and stuck fast into the arena sticking straight up. Yeah...throwing the lance was something he had never actually tried before. "...Okay lets launch Danae instead..." He would say in a bit of disappointment. Though teaming up like this was a bit, awkward as it was difficult to find where to properly grasp the weapon in the first place. Yet he did what he could and following the count down would add his strength to the swing and to help launch the owl faunus to the sky. Hopefully it doesn't end up like last time she tried to fly. As soon as she was airborne he would run back to retrieve his own weapon to be ready if it were to fall to the ground.

XXXThe group of students that it unleashed a volley of fire on had been so elusive, with the exception of one. It was the largest and most prominent target of the team that had instead put its focus on protecting the leader and unleashing a maelstrom of fire towards the insectoid grimm. As a result, the fireball would race pass the more evasive members of the group only to strike the rhino with a powerful impact. Upon impact, the flames would spread to scorch the clothes on her back and inflict severe burns on the tender flesh if nothing was done against it.
To think such a fearsome foe was taking its time in the sky as it was. There was no doubting the speed of the creature as it continued to turn and twirl its mass through the sky. With ever flap and turn, it's vivid yellow eyes would scan the ground below for the next target to either blast or pounce. It appeared that the creature had caused far more chaos with its prior action than it intended, as there was now two other grimm swarming the scene to take on a large number of students. Perhaps this creature would steal the glory from another, a snake in particular. After all, there was an overwhelming sense of negativity radiating from the front of the arena. Something that was practically catnip for the manticore. Before it could even choose a target, however, it was the bullets that so narrowly grazed it that caught its burning amber gaze. Flexing its wings, the creature would shift its flight pattern towards just above a group of students with a pooch. One of them had the audacity to open fire on it, the bullets either grazing by or glancing off the hardened bones of its mask. Another had attempted to huck a lance that just couldn't get the altitude to reach its level. While there was no apparent damage, the manticore had already been plenty agitated by another as it was. With an open maw, a series of orange and red sparks would ignite to release not one, but two consecutive fireballs down towards the grouped up team SNRS.
The Manticore had caught eye of something brewing beneath it. A series of movements and turns just before it launched its fireball. However, before the creature could dive into its attack it would instead be thrown off by the presence of the grand Nevermore diving down past it. The creature would jerk to the side in order to avoid it, only to let out a loud growl of agitation towards its fellow grimm that was far too large to share the sky with. Yellow eyes would follow it for a moment before the glowing orbs returned to the team below. That's when it saw it, a small mass of feathers flying up towards it at an accelerated rate. The creature wasn't sure what had caused it, or why it was trying to meet it in the sky, but would respond all the same. By killing it. Wings would tuck back as the creature forced itself into a high-velocity freefall towards the mass of feathers, the sparks igniting in its mouth once again only to blast the feather mass to oblivion. If it had survived, the grimm was ready to collide with the ball of feathers with open jaws in order to feel its bones crunching beneath its power. As any feline would, large or small, it would go straight for the throat if it could see past the smoke of its own fire.

Cecil grunted as his stance wavered a bit, his scarf billowing with the wind beats of the Nevermore as it was trying to take off, even after tanking his and Adam's bullets. Adam had missed the chance to land a hit with a hand, but a bullet helped, so at this point they were fighting a barely damaged Nevermore. Cecil focused his aura as it was dropping the temperature faster than before, he was close as he nodded his head to Ridley. He had to build up his semblance faster in order for it to be useful. Cecil watched before the bullet from Azura soared through the sky and hit the beak, chipping off a part of the beast.
He looked to Azura as he smiled at her with a thumbs up before he looked back at it, the beast itself had become confused before it began to descend upon a spot nearby, but not too far away from them. As it got closer, Cecil was using the time bought to load up another bullet into the Reiterpallasch, making quick choices as he took aim at it. That was until the beast stopped it's descent and began to make it's way back while screeching. Cecil didn't know why, wished he had attended Grimm studies before he ran over towards Azura. The creature opened it's wingspan wide as Cecil ran and right before the feather storm. A scythe like hers would be useful, but it was in the rifle form and not useful for defense. Cecil intercepted one of the outer rings were Azura was, and used his Reiterpallasch to parry and misdirect a few of the large wings. His aura took a few hits, but he was channeling it to cover over his weapon as ice was beginning to slowly appear. "Azura, what did you use on it?" He asked her while his back was towards her before he soon shouted to Ridley, the feathers ring closing on her. "Move boss!" He watched the beast in the air move as it began it's downward descent to only be 10 feet above them.
"Azura we gotta move." Cecil told her as he grabbed ahold of her hand, keeping the Rapier up as his aura was growing to defend against the attack if they can't move away in time. He held Azura's hand, waiting for her tug so he would know as to which direction they were to move towards.

Koryn noticed Eira's expression, she instantly went from being over excited to a bit concerned. She looked to Richard for some back up and realised that he had gone, "Oh dear.." she said, looking back at Eira as she scratched her head sheepishly. "I was just.. uh, making sure that I could give him a big cuddle!" she said, caught red handed. Koryn was then extremely pleased that Eira began to laugh, and laughed along with her - in an attempt to calm her own panic down too. When Eira gave her a hug, Koryn wrapped her arms around her cute friend, probably a bit too tightly as usual, and gave her a big grin as she then listened to her next comment about her semblance.
Letting go of the hug, Koryn looked down at her chest and then back at Eira, laughing. "That Rhino almost cost me this chest piece, it took me 3 hours to make this you know!" she said, sticking her tongue out to Tessa, not really bothered who saw. "Plus, sister always said that when others see bubbies.. their noses bleed!!" she said, bringing her face closer to Eira. "I wouldn't be able to look after everyone here if their noses were to bleed my cute Eira!!!" she yelled, before her attention was averted to the battle they now had on their plates.
Koryn held Eira back when the wings created such a force, she brought her wings in a little to make sure she wasn't then carried away with it. Eira seemed to be on alert already, while Koryn was too worried about her wings being harmed. She was taken off guard a little bit when she was yanked out of the way by Eira, landing on her front a few inches to her left. Koryn turned over just as she saw the fireball make contact with her teammate Tessa, if there was one thing she hated.. it was fire.
She got her balance back, and looked to Eira and then Tessa, nodding. Koryn lifted herself into the air slightly and flew extremely fast over to Tessa as she then flapped her wings as strong as she could in an attempt to put out the embers on Tessa's body. "Roll on the ground Tess! It will help!" she yelled, looking back at her captain Sasselia who began to give them ideas and orders of how they could help the fight.
Koryn placed her hand up to her forehead and signaled to her as though she was in the military, "Aye aye cap'n! Up and away I gooooooo!" she said as she flew upwards, arriving above the Lancer. Koryn took out stinger from her back and used force from her wings to propel herself with such speed in a downwards motion, her lance edge aiming straight down on the lancer, attempting to pierce it from above. She would make sure the Lancer would go no higher, and make her team proud.
A great sound rattled the area that all the students had congregated inside of. A woman fell down from the sky, a larger and dark toned woman who Yenna found pretty interesting. The choice in attire made her look more like a lady of the night than a teacher but maybe she was just weird like the student base. Her explosive entrance rocked the rest of the students as Yenna looked at her team and shrugged. Eli did bring up a pretty solid point against her the more she watched. After skipping a whole bunch of things in order to get a late post out, their teacher set loose the grim within the nevermore.
Team DECO's beast of choice came lunging at her, Yenna zoning it away with her tower shield. "Away with you, vile Grimm! Harm shall not-" Her eyes scanned the grimm before feeling a cold shiver run down her spine. This massive King Taijitu was a snake! "It's a fockin' snaaaaake! I 'ate snakes! God dammit, thousands of these bellends an' we get th' snake!" Yenna cried out, now beginning to shake as she turned to her comrades just in time to see a second head pop out and focus on Cali who was safe guarded from danger by Nox. She kept her focus on the black head and kept her guard up. "Oi! Any plans? Ain't in th' mood to die like this. Not before puberty!"
”We need to relocate. If we antagonize the black head too much while encircled like this it will try to constrict us all.”
"Fair 'nuff. I can keep the black one busy while you guys get the white one."
Chase would listen to his team leaders plan bewildered after firing a few shots at the manticore. 'She wants to be thrown to the manticore?' He questioned to himself. He had no clue what the others in his team could do, having not even spoken a single word to them. They almost seemed casual in their reaction to all this as she came up with the plan, Danae even calling it fun. 'Does she have a death wish? Or is this team merely unsuited for ranged combat.' He wondered to himself, not knowing enough about them to truly know the state of their sanity nor their combat capabilities. He saw the hungry one from earlier sporting a rather large hammer, while the armored warrior sported a lance. And, now as they prepared, he noted danae with a pair of daggers. 'Do none of them have a gun...?' He wondered to himself as his gaze returned skyward to see what effects his bullets had on the Grimm. He could see no damage to it, no real wounds or noises of pain from the beast, so he guessed they were ineffectual. 'Perhaps then it is just so we may actually have an affect on the beast.' Was his next thought. Looking to the blood pooled on the ground beneath him, he could always use it to coat his bullets to improve his accuracy and perhaps inflict more damage...He would then watch as they agreed, though the armored warrior seemed intent on another plan first as he prepared to launch his lance. Leaving Chase wondering if perhaps it had a way to go fly and home in on a target, which would be useful for this particular situation. However as he tossed it, it admittedly going rather high, it became evident as gravity took over that he thought he could throw the lance all the way up to impale the manticore with his strength alone... 'That was...unwise.' Chase thought to himself, seeing it as a pointless waste of time and energy.
Despite the lackluster nature of his throw, it did give Chase an idea as he saw him join the other in preparing to launch Danae into the air. As he started his countdown, Chase focused on the blood pooled around him and had it traverse along the ground to just beneath Danae...And at the final number the blood would suddenly shoot up along Danae's body as she was launched into the air. The blood would, while only being on her legs at first, quickly scale up her body until it coated her almost entirely with just enough of a hole for her to see and breath near her head. It had been enough to make stand at the same height and thickness as Chase, so on Danae it would bunch up a bit more on her upper body. Whether or not it would be made to cushion her fall, as she had asked of him, all depended on the opportunity they were given as Chase saw the chance for something more. Down here, his blood was ineffectual. But, using Danae as a solid medium to cling to, his blood could reach the manticore itself and possibly deal more damage. 'If it comes to killing the manticore or saving her...I know my choice.' He thought to himself. It had already launched fireballs at others and had flight. The teacher, for whatever reason, had not expected it would take the option of flying away. But if it did...it could kill many more. Chase was not going to let it happen for that reason and for his own hatred of Grimm. He wanted it dead...No matter the cost.
The manticore had already adjusted its flight towards them at this point, Chase's bullets apparently succeeding in drawing its attention towards them. Regardless of whether their plan to launch their leader failed, if it kept coming to them it would all work out one way or another in his mind. However, what Chase had not anticipated was for it to launch two fireballs towards them. His eyes were not focused on his team currently, nor did he had time to with the balls of fire descending to them. Looking to his hound, he would let out a sharp whistle for it to follow him as he sheathed his pistol and began to run. 'I cannot shoot with her as an obstruction.' He thought to himself. There was too much of a possibility of his bullets either whizzing away depending how the beast reacted, or them going into her instead. His gun would be useless for the moment and only a hindrance if he kept it out. However, he did not run directly away from the fireballs. Seeing the angle of flight path it had taken to try and hit them, thankfully being a bit up to give them time to react, Chase ran towards the manticore so that he could clear the range of the fireballs quickly and not accidentally end up running along their trajectory. His eyes hazarded a look up as he saw danae nearing it as well, but also saw it launch a fireball towards her. He hoped she had something in mind to avoid it, her semblance or some such, but he could not help. If he diverted more to her front for shielding, he wouldn't have any left to make a counterattack after. She would need to find some way to avoid the fireball herself for full protection. Even as he thought it in his mind, part of him tried arguing he should but his more logical mind was in effect. Sacrifices were made with every battle, and he would have to hope the team leader was made one for a reason and could handle herself. Already, should his blood remain, thoughts would spring to mind of what he could do. His hound ran beside him, though naturally faster, as the two were bonded in battle. He also hoped both he and his hound would clear the successive blasts.
► Divide 【 Strength≡ 1.00 】 【 Quantity ≡ 1 】 【 Attacking ≡ Team STWR 】 【 Misc Posts ≡ 4 】 【 onslaught. of. creatures. ≡ In the future, Lancer stingers are capable of piercing through metal hulls. So, a block like that on Tessa's behalf may very well result in her weapon getting pierced if repeated. ^^ 】
XXXAnnoyances. Annoyances everywhere. It was bad enough that the hulking student had managed to ever so narrowly deflect the harpoon. It might've hit at just the right angle, or else normally it would've pierced such a miniscule contraption. Instead, the sharpened edge would leave a lightly serrated gash along the side of the metal gauntlet as its harpoon was deflected. Fortunately for the Lancer it hadn't pierced a target, giving it free mobility begin a high-speed retreat as soon as its stinger was deflected. A serious of explosions would erupt, one on Tessa as the Manticore's fireball collided with it along with one that Tessa herself released against the grimm. Wings beating with a rapid buzz, the large insectoid grimm would quickly disengage in order to escape the same fiery fate that Tessa had experienced. While the insect was able to escape the initial explosion, it would still feel the surge of intense heat that only warded it more so. Fire was bad, that was something that meant something to even monsters. A fact of life that transcended species.
The rhino was out, at least in terms for the Lancer. By the dance of flames that had engulfed the student once, it wasn't something that the bug dared to go near. So instead, another target came into perspective with its large compound eyes. The girl who evaded the fireball with the oversized butterfly, Eira. The Lancer had yet to fully retract its harpoon, allowing it to dangle free with each of its movements. With a whip of its abdomen, the large and sharpened harpoon would follow the whipped motion to try and slash against Eira as she loaded her weapon. Whether deflected or hit, even dodged, the natural tether of the creature would finally do its part to retract the harpoon into its abdomen. ... That, however, wasn't the only thing that came towards the Lancer. By nature, the wasp-like creature had a wider range of vision much like its non-grimm counterpart. Thus, the skyward butterfly's strike would be less of a surprise and more of a nuisance. Wasn't that a wasp's job? To be a nuisance? Its buzzing grew more aggressive as the lance connected with the plated armor of its back, nicking and scratching it. Just enough to piss it off even more. The creature would immediately dip and dash forward before she could target wings, buzzing around in a small circle before returning to Koryn with a large set of outstretched claws. The movements were quick, the strike was fierce as claws that could tear through metal were aimed to grasp and shred right through the butterfly faunus. The bug wasn't about ready to give away its aerial advantage, especially not to a stinkin' buttefly!

┎⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯¤⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯┒
In the midst of such a normal seeming conversation, all chaos would break out within the arena. Electric orbs would be turned upwards as a massive shadow blocked out all the light from above, shrouding them in darkness. He might have thought he had blinked, were his eyes not locked on the gigantic avian creature and the goliath of a woman that was clinging to it. Crimson strands of hair streaked across ebony feathers in what was an almost mesmerizing mosaic of colors. It was hard to say what exactly happened next. It was a blur of motion, trying to distinguish one action from the next nearly impossible, but that didn't keep such vivid blues from following the assault in the sky with such keen precision, up until the very moment beast and woman collided against the stadium. The third that followed was deafening and enough to shake the ground beneath their feet. Almost instinctively, Eli would pull Cali closer to him, concealing her small frame against his side. Subconsciously the boy would position himself so that he was between his team and the fallen nevermore on the other side of the arena. He seemed to have a bad habit of using himself as a human shield and while Cali remained at the forefront of his protection, that defensive stance he took was working g to guard his team mates as well. Eli was an odd boy, a goofball in day to day life but with the noble heart of a knight within him. Always willing to protect those around him at all costs, even the price of his own life. It was something Cali had long since learned in their time together and something the rest of his team was surely piecing together even in their short times together. After all, this was his second time putting himself in the way of danger for their sake, even on the short weeks they'd known each other. It didn't seem like a trend that was going to stop any time soon. Nox was completely valid in her warning, asking Hinton be more careful, however it was something he brushed off with a sideways glance and the smirking of full lips. "Right, sure thing Cap." It wasn't exactly the most reassuring of statements, what with the nonchalant tone of his voice, but what more could truly be expect of the boy? This was Eli, straight down to his core. A combination of skill and sheer luck were likely the reason of survival to this day. A small chuckle left his lips at Nox's next question, but his eyes never left the madwoman wrangling the flying creature like she was a part of some loony rodeo. "I think she has surpassed them all. She's gonna be a blast, if she doesn't get us all killed."
There wasn't much time for talk as the woman who had just flown in on the back of a flying grim pushed her way from the underbelly of the creature and miraculously found her way to her feet. She was bruised, bloodied, and stumbling about, but the fact that she was standing at all was impressive. Eli wasn't sure how she'd managed to survive a fall like that, but it was something he could certainly respect as well as admire. This Rachel, who turned out to be their teacher and gave a speech about their assignment before another loud screech ripped through the air. Within moments the beast was back in the air, snagging their teacher along with it. It was with a slip of a button that the real chaos began. The buzz and whirring, metal clicking against itself, the creaking of latches, as the locking mechanisms were undone and a horde of grim was released on the class all at once. His joking manner was lost for the moment as he slowly turned to face the cage nearest them. As he turned he kept Cali close to his side, one arm held tightly around her while the other raised out in front of him, blades protruding from the glove. He was prepared for whatever beast they would be facing and he was determined to keep even the smallest of scrapes from marking Cali's fair skin. It didn't take some fancy ability to sense just how fearful and anxious the girl was. Sandy hues wide, her body trembling ever so slightly with the paranoia coursing through her system. While nervousness wasn't uncommon for the girl, Eli knew the exact perpetrator for such an extreme reaction. Rather, he knew the event that had caused it, for he had been there to share the memory with her. Just moments after pulling her from the wreckage of a burning home that had crumbled on top of her, they had been cornered by a beowolf. Neither of them were strong enough to fight but even if they had been, what were two twelve year olds against such a terrible monster? Eli had been marked permanently by that encounter, with three long, jagged lines drawn across the flesh of his back. Thick and raised enough one would be able to feel them even through the fabric of his shirt if they felt so inclined as to try. It was odd to think that the tribe members who had raided their village, the ones responsible for the death of their parents and so many others, were actually the ones that saved them. While the horrors that followed their captivity were unspeakable, were it not for being taken hostage, they wouldn't be standing her today. The grim would have slashed them both to ribbons. That singular dark memory was the only experience the two had with grim so to Eli it was no surprise that the current situation struck fear into Cali's heart. His only real concern was that the excessive negative emotion would cause the thing to target her.
As the grim slithered from the cage, revealing itself to be a King Taijitu, forked tongue slithering from between scaly lips, it seemed Cali wasn't the only one in fear. The once excited Yenna quickly lost her courage at the sight of the massive snake. She no longer seemed so keen on her crusader ways and the grim seemed to pick up on that as well, crimson orbs gleaming from the massive form of the black head. It followed her every move, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. However, that wasn't the beasts only intention. Slowly it was working its mass around them, coiling itself around the entire team. If they didn't act quickly, they would suffer a most horrendous death of quite literally having the life squeezed from them like juice from a lemon. Surely it would take no more effort than that, not for a creature of this scale and level. Before he had time to formulate a plan, the other head made its strike towards Cali, and thus him. Arms were raised in defense, quickly moving to the offense as he prepared to slash, however, Nox took care of it before it ever became necessary. Electric orbs would travel back to the beast, watching its movements. He was prepared for another attack, but he was also searching for a way out. The snake hadn't quite made full circle yet, which gave the team a chance to slip from its grasp, so long as they could avoid the heads. Yenna offered to distract it herself, but Eli had a better idea. "Don't worry about it, Bun. Spidy's got a plan. I think I'm going to take a page out of our Teach's book." The gleam of vivid blues and a confident smirk upon his lips were indicators that Cali would probably not agree. It didn't seem like he was going to give anyone a chance to object. Silver strands of webs would shoot from the slots in his gloves, weaving together to form three sturdy tendrils on both hands. He would work simultaneously, one hand using his webs to gently shove the girl's on his team, Cali included, towards the small gap in the snake's body. With his other hand, webs would latch to the head of the snake. With a tug of muscular arms, the boy would go flying, landing upon the creature's back, broad legs would coil tightly around the snake while once again his arms worked in separate but simultaneous movements. His right hand would draw the blades of his gloves across the scaly flesh of the snake, with every ounce of strength he had. His left hand would wrap his webs around the neck of the white head keeping it from attacking the rest of his time while he was unaware.
All he had to do was keep it busy long enough for the rest of them to get to more advantageous positions. He didn't like leaving Cali's side, but in this situation it seemed most practical. After all, the snake couldn't very well attack with webs locked around it. Well, it would at least keep her and the rest of his team out of its reach. It was a different story for him. He had a trump card he was saving, a secret little zap in case the webs alone were not enough. "I'm going to keep it off of you for as long as I can. Get out and get ready. Attack while I'm hindering it's assault. Just... please don't miss." Seeing as he had his own body wrapped around the beast, aim would have to be precise, otherwise they might hit their ally rather than their enemy. Luckily the King Taijitu was a much bigger target than himself. It was a dangerous plan, a risky plan, but that's what made it so perfectly Eli. Risk and danger aside, it had it's tact. Besides, the boy's fighting style was best suited for close quarters. He couldn't do much harm if he was far away and this way he had the opportunity to give his team a better chance as well. What was that phrase... kill two birds with one stone? Yep, that was it. Besides, the spider seemed to be having the time of his life and it was surely something he would brag about either. Eli the snake wrangler, has a nice ring to it. Granted at some point or another he was bound to eat s**t. He'd only be able to hold on and avoid teeth for so long. The strained grin on his face was enough indication that in his mind it would all be worth it, so long as the plan worked and he was determined not to let it fell. Muscles strained as he worked to keep himself upon the creature while also keeping it's heads away from his team. Not to mention dodging attacks that were aimed at him as well.
