She heard the man’s voice, and curiously peeked up to see who he was addressing, a little surprise to see that he’d taken a seat close to her. Well, not so close that she could easily reach out to him, but close enough in that room. It wasn’t the best place to be, but at least there wasn’t anything worse happening for the moment. They weren’t trapped in there with youma or negaverse agents, from what she could determine, although she might very well be wrong.
“We wait,” she said, her voice muffled against her knees, wishing there was more for them to do than just sit around. There would be others who might use up their energy in an attempt to get out, but she was going to stay out of the way. Her usefulness only went to far like his. As Varuna she could do a lot more in terms of protecting herself and others, but like this she was just some blonde girl curled up in the corner of the morgue.
Julian just needed to talk, to voice his thoughts so that he could listen to the sound of his own voice and remember that he was Julian Ashleigh Laurence, he was the grandson of the Laurences of London, and he was a violinist for the Destiny City Ballet Company Orchestra. He was not going to let anything happen to himself while stuck here in this damned morgue in this damned hospital. He would do whatever he could to make it out of here alive and perfectly well.
The woman near to him was curled up with her head pressed against her knees. Julian's arms were draped over his own, his fingers absently twisting together, watching the movement of them, because he was so used to playing, to making sure his hands were in the right positions to draw the bow across the strings, fingers sliding into the correct notes.
He wished he was not here. He wished he was back at his house, with his violin, away from all of this utter nonsense.
He wished he had never come here in the first place.
"Wait for what exactly?" said Julian, as he tilted his head back against the wall, his blue eyes tracing the lines of the ceiling. "I've never been a very patient person, and this - Obsidian, whatever his name is, is making life extremely difficult for all of us."
He did not want to sit there like a duck waiting to be shot, but it seemed they had little choice; a fact that grated on Julian's nerves like acid.

Caleb is going to TRY THE VENTPhone with Cord
In the end, it had seemed like the best idea to eat Wormy and Mr. Squiggles so they had both gone into the abyss of his stomach, despite of his better judgment. What was he supposed to do? He got hungry in the middle of the night…
When the creepy deranged sounding voice came over the loudspeaker again, Caleb bristled and shook his head. Hell no. He was not going to die here in this freaky ******** up hospital. Not today. Not today.
He walked towards the vent where those cats had disappeared into…they hadn’t been back, had they? So maybe it was a way out!
Quickly he began to try and climb up the vent, channeling his inner cat.

Gweneth Malley - Try the vent the cats went up. (Broken IV Pole) that gnawing in her stomach want the most pleasing of sensations but already she knew she hasn't consumed something that was possibly toxic. Thankfully though the night had passed uneventfullly. Sure, she got little sleep, but being near Mathias had at least let her ease some of the tension. After all, the guy was a very good pair of eyes.
With the promise of more to come Gwen opted to check out the vents. The idea of staying stuck in the morgue was a bit too much for her and she may just be narrow enough to slip into the vents.
She used the table to try and host herself up and in, well aware there were others, Mathias included, who had the same thought as her.

Mathias White [Oxygen Tank(1d12)] - Option 1
Mathias had been more than happy to let Gwen come and hang with him overnight. It was good to have a second pair of eyes. Sure - his stomach was doing that clenching thing it did when he got hungry, but he'd gone a week without food once - in the rift - this was... annoying but not terrible.
It was probably worse because it wasn't self inflicted.
Still, they needed to get out, and the vents looked like a good choice. Probably too small for him - but if they could get someone smaller in there they could at least get out of the building and run for legitimate help. Mathias could turn a blind eye to the cops being summoned in this occasion.
"You're a ********> It was Jada's good morning cry to the rest of her group at the announcement. Opening her purse, she angrily dragged a hairbrush through her hair, as though this would help at all. Her mouth was parched, she wanted a toothbrush- she was gonna hunt him down and punch him in the nose. It was now fact.
Other people were making themselves useful- vents, opening up an incinerator- and staring at the freezer. Going in there with bodies- hell no. Ugh. Still, she wasn't going to fit in the roof, and she'd rather not worry that the Incinerator would work, so...
Corpse Preserver it was.

Hania ~ Oxygen Tank ~ Option three
"Well hopefully they wont be terribly upset?" Hania said before crawling into Kailey's lap. Hopefully the night wouldn't be too terribly and they could figure out a way to get out of this mess.
~*~*~
The next morning Hania woke up from where he was snuggled up to Kailey, groggy but startled when the voice of Obsidian came over the speakers. It took him a moment to remember what had been going on and when he did he let out a soft groan. He hadn't figured out a way out of the hospital during the night and had ended up falling asleep at some point. He got up and stretched before going a checking the freezer for any clue.
She'd find out the next day whenever they got out and got service, now wouldn't she? Not that Kailey slept much, dozing barely here and there, back against the wall and chin against her chest when she did, arms protectively around Hania.
The wakeup call had her cussing in Irish, along with a few other complaints in the language as she stretched out her legs, arms, and cracked her back a few times. Not the best sleeping conditions, but she'd gotten some rest and at least something to eat the night before.
Grumbling, she got to her feet and, none interested in dealing with the incinerators--her arms hurt with phantom flickers just thinking about it--she followed Hania to peek at the freezers. Sometimes in films they opened up to secret passages. She wouldn't put it past everything at this point.

Rhiannon Beaumont - Option one
Rhiannon had shrugged helplessly at the man when he asked what they were waiting for. She couldn’t say much because she didn’t want to draw attention to her knowledge of senshi things, especially if he was a negaverse agent. He didn’t seem like one, but he could also be a very good actor, just waiting for the others to mess up.
She’d fallen asleep somehow, but kept waking up through the night. The sound of the man over the intercom received no response from her, and instead she just pushed herself up to follow the others as they shuffled about.
She would try the vents because so far that seemed like the only way anyone had been able to get out, even if they were just cats who escaped before.
He woke up with a crick in his neck and the unpleasant sensation of the general's voice shouting merrily into their ears, and he gave a slightly sardonic look towards the blonde woman near to him, Julian slowly climbing to his feet.
"Time to get the hell out of here," he muttered, and tried to go up after the cats, because the vent seemed like a good start. He did not, however, get very far; instead, Julian found himself falling back down, landing in an ungraceful heap on the ground.
Clearly Austen had not learned her lesson from all of those horror movies she liked to watch. Someone - she didn't see who - thankfully yanked her back before she could go up in flames, and Austen was coughing as she staggered into the room, waving a hand in front of her face.
"Bugger," she wheezed. "That was not pleasant."
Austen tugged on her hair, made sure it was up and out of her face, and took a breath.

RESULTS:
Option One:
You try climbing up to the vent. You make it as far as getting your hips up into it, but find yourself quickly tumbling down on your a** and hurting yourself. You're not a cat so quit trying to act like one.
Option Two:
Have you seriously not seen any horror movies?
As soon as your head pokes inside, you feel a sudden warmth as a whoosh of fire curls out to try to snap you up. Thankfully, someone a little smarter than yourself manages to yank you back just in time.
You lucky b*****d.
Option Three:
You take a chance and start looking through the morgue freezer for any potential options. Behind one of the bags, you notice a hole - it looks like there's light coming from the other side of it. Another secret passage?
You and the others are forced to remove the heavy body bag to allow room for you to crawl through the space and into the hole. It's a tight fit, but you manage. Also, uh.... how are there already bodies in the morgue when the hospital wasn't even officially open until today?
You try not to think about it as you crawl through.
Apparently the wall has been knocked out between the morgue and the laundry room!
Inside the laundry room, you are surrounded by large containers of linen, washers, dryers and a long chute where the dirty laundry drops in from.
The door to the laundry room is locked, naturally.
Do you...
Option One
Investigate the washer and dryer area.
Option Two
Check out the bins of linen for anything suspicious.
Option Three
Stand there and look pretty.

Gweneth Malley - Investigate the washer and dryer area. (Broken IV Pole) Gwen shimmied herself into the vent, or...almost did. She managed to pull herself up and into it until her hips got it the way. Damn those child-bearing hips! Try as she might to angle herself different ways there was no way she was getting into the vent shaft and eventually gave up. She let herself carefully drop down onto the table and back into the room.
People were filtering themselves into the body fridge and she hopped down from the table to investigate as well. Turned out someone had managed to find to find a hole of some sort, and it was big enough for people to fit through. It worked for her.
Slipping through the broken wall Gwen glanced around the laundry room that had laid on the other side of the wall. Dusting her jeans off she noted the fact that Isaiah was milling around as well. She’d been doing her damn best to try and ignore his presence but it hadn’t been terribly easy. Every time her eyes landed on him her heart picked up pace and she needed to look else where. This time, she had an escape and turned herself into the washing room to investigate in there.
At least she was away from Isaiah and maybe she’d get lucky to find another broken wall hidden there as well.
Or maybe she’d find a youma, cause that would be her luck.

Caleb is Checking out the Linen BinsPhone with Cord
After falling out of the vent, Caleb rubbed his butt with a scowl on his face. Evidently he hadn't been thinking enough like a cat...it was an issue but, he would deal, most likely. At least he wasn't like the freaks who thought it was a good idea to mess around in dead body fridges...even if they did find a secret passage...if he had been a better climber he would have made it just like the cats did.
But now, of course, they were in another room with seemingly no way out at all. There were bins of laundry though, and halfheartedly Caleb began to rummage through one of the linen bins, hoping to find something...maybe a secret passage under all of the nasty sheets? That would be worthwhile.
Rayna wasn't sure when she had dozed off but the fact of the matter was that she had fallen asleep. Even the crackle of the PA system coming to life that had relayed Obsidian's next message did not cause the teen to stir. Instead it was the various thumps of those that had begun to try and climb the vents that woke Rayna. Rubbing at her eyes it came back to her where she had been trapped all night. With a heavy sigh the girl rose off of the floor and began to poke around. It was only seconds later that a happy cry went up from those that had checked the morgue freezers that had her ceasing in her actions.
Following the crowd out of the morgue and into a new room Rayna scratched at a wound on her arm before deciding to investigate the bins of linens.
