Circling around the Circle K, the rainbow senshi approached the sounds of fighting warily. The screams and roars and the sounds of running feet made her nervous. As she’d come to find, getting too close to fighting made it likely to get pulled into it, and that was the last thing Eros wanted. She valued her own skin and undamaged parts too much to risk them if she could help it.
Her back scraped the wall as she sidled around it, and still pressed close, she got her first view of the commotion and source of all of the fighting.
It looked like a General in green, her hand plunged into a knight’s back… Scholomance’s back, actually. There was a graceful red-head, a stacked senshi with black hair, and a… ******** monster woman being flung about by <********…” Eros murmured again, her pink eyes wide. How to even describe what she was seeing, when she didn’t understand it herself?
There were other groups, surrounding this, who were fighting as well… some dude in black in with rainbow… cape thing, versus a senshi girl. Another senshi girl in… very skimpy purple versus a lieutenant… A page? In a pastel sort of rainbow. Most seemed otherwise engaged, which was just how Eros prefered it. She could watch while they all beat the s**t out of each other, and really, this wasn’t a half-bad seat to watch the action.

She stood paralyzed in the middle of the area until Eleusis spoke. No. No no no not the page, no you silly girl. Her limbs snapped into action and Andronicus shot forward, spreading her arms wide in front of the page. She glanced over her shoulder at the young lady, a pained expression on her face, and glared at Schorl.
"You said you wanted a knight, well, here I am!" She looked back at Eleusis for a moment, whispering. "Get out of here. Go to Themi, and get out of here."
Themiscrya was going to kill her for this....

5 PER (pass) The dilapidated surroundings of the Circle K offered much in the way of detritus. Discarded newspapers, disintegrating cardboard, and broken glass often coated the area, swept to the sides and against old walls. Occasionally, garbage cans dotted the area where smaller businesses once stood, and among them, an aluminum trash can in relatively sturdy condition remained flush against the wall behind a dumpster. On it, secured via rusty chain, the thick lid secured the contents inside. While the handle looked uncomfortable, the lid itself looked passable as a shield. Ceraskia of Scorn Atk +7 | Def +4
Well...that had been a rather disappointing display. Her magic, though effective to say the least, did not have the exact desired results. Ah well, it would appear there were bigger fish to fry. Things near the overwhelmingly strong beacon of collective auras were heating up, and it was very much impossible not to have her attention captured by what she was seeing.
Her general, an arm sunk into the back of a struggling knight. Another general, in lifted into the air by something that looked like it would be at home in the pages of a science fiction novel set in the deep. "They need assistance," she mused the the lieutenant that had followed her, though she didn't wait for an answer from Keyite before taking off at a sprint towards the thick of things. Things were about to go very badly for her mistress, and Ceraskia refused to allow that to happen. Too many dangers surrounded them, they could not afford to have their feet swept from beneath them.
But there was no time. She saw the trajectory of that muscular limb, where it intended to pitch the half-youma general.
"Apologies, mistress!" She cried as she put strong legs to excellent use. Leaping, she planted small feet in the blonde beauty's out stretched arms, pushing off that muscular point to intercept the thrown Cinnabar. Thin arms circled that slender waist, snatching the half-youma out of the sky to keep her from crashing bodily into her comrade in arms.
It was a messy maneuver, but effective.

Schörl, General
Adrenaline had an amazing slowing effect on perception, sometimes. It didn't work so cinematically for actually moving and reacting. The tentacle arm swung and launched Cinnabar- ballsy. The Green General's choices didn't finished millisecond flashing. Scholomance was already reacting, plunging to avoid the incoming weight and pain of body ballistics, and removed. himself. from. his starseed.
Hold onto it, Dodge, Cera??
The Corrupted's words and weight appeared already, providence. Blessed intervention and saving a world of hurt and tangle. If they were tangled up they were too easy a target together.
Mala Fortuna intervened on the heels of her twin, the starseed shimmering in muffled, gentled clatter out of Schörl's hand and across Barbary's puffs as momentum already begun in the dodge carried her down to the hit the floor. It wasn't far. A scramble of pieces. Command rang clear to all agents present. "THE BODY. GRAB IT. "
STATS/EFFECTS:
HP: 152/200 DMG: n/a Effects: accuracy -3 to people attacking her! Wearing Barbary, has hand around a starseed NRG: 20/60, has starting starseed STATS: 8atk/15def
Barbary: 100 HP enemies targeting Schörl receive accuracy -3 when Schörl is using Barbary. 8 DMG to targets per round until vanquished.
PLOT DIRECTIVE!
Scholomance's starseed is loose from his body! Either side has to grab both pieces and protect them to re-unite them to have a living knight. The starseed is in Schorl's hold!
Order: Damage her, capture her, freeze her, etc to get that starseed off her! Get the body so that the negaverse can't make off with Scholomance in two parts.
Negaverse: get the body if you can carry it, help carry the starseed, etc!

Hy-Brasil, Squire of Earth HP:193/200 ATTK: 5 DEF: 5 Effects: +2 Accuracy to anyone attacking/targeting Hy-Brasil due to her carrying the body. (This will affect anyone who is in possession of Scholomance's body at any point in time!) DMG: --
Her little scheme was all for naught. She had no idea if it would have worked. Hell, chances were there wasn’t any sense of compassion or friendship among the two Generals, but it had been something. A way to barter without anyone getting injured, corrupted, or worse. That was very quickly thrown to the wayside. Everything that was offered by anyone was gone in a blink of an eye as Scylla decided to take things into her own...tentacles.
Gwen could barely keep track of what was occurring, but all that mattered was that she saw the moment that Scholomance seemed to ‘check out’. She didn’t see the pull or the glittering of the starseed in Schorl’s hand. She just saw Scholomance instinctively move from the General being chucked towards him and then his body go completely limp, collapsing to the ground.
“Scholomance!” She yelled. Screamed maybe? She wasn’t sure. Hy-Brasil was already moving, scrambling, to his body as Schorl yelled out her orders. Hands reached for him, tears in her eyes that she wasn’t even aware of, as she looked at his lifeless eyes still open from the shock of the pull. Fingers graced ran down the sides of his face as she dealt with the shock of what she was seeing. It was a mere second or two, but she felt a sickening despair want to wash over her. To envelope her and just break down then and there. It would have been hard to deal with either way. Even if it was someone she knew or not, but it was Scholomance… Isaiah…
Instantly, like a switch being flicked on, despair was overcome with a fierce need to protect Scholomance’s body and retrieve the starseed that was pulled from him. There was still time. Still hope! They could do this if they worked together and overwhelmed the Generals. After all, it was very clear they had come for a fully intact Knight, not a dead one.
“Get his Starseed!” She yelled as she began to haul his body up. It wasn’t easy, even with her increased strength as a Squire and her months of training, but andrenaline and desperation were miracle workers as she managed to get him well enough in her arms to begin to pull him away from the General.

Ptolemaeus, DMS of Change
Wasting no time, Ptolemy darted forward as the s**t hit the fan. He heard the page's cry to go for the starseed, but with the way she was struggling with the body all on her own, he wasn't confidently leaving it in her possession. The 6'3" male, with his athletic build, wasn't overly brawny, but he figured his assistance would count for something as he shift the majority of the Saturn Knight's body onto his back so he could relocate him easier. Maybe that wasn't what Hy-Brasil wanted, but while still under the magic of Ceraskia, he was still feeling a little rebellious in terms of following orders given.

Hvergelmir Knight of the Cosmos
If anyone would have found it strange to see a Cosmos knight popping out of a ventilation duct dressed in full starlight regalia (and looking relatively un-dusty), fortunately, there was no one in direct line of sight to see it. Laney had scuttled her way along and between a series of interconnected HVAC pipes, unsensed and unimpeded, until finally she'd reached the site of all the conflict -- and, to her horror, saw Schörl with her hand in Scholomance's torso, asking anyone else to bargain their freedom away, a sailor soldier with more tentacles than arms hurling Cinnabar through the air and being caught by a corrupted sailor soldier, and two knights . . . offering themselves in exchange for Scholomance.
Andronicus she knew. The knight burned brightly in Hvergelmir's carefully preserved memories of their lost future, and . . .
No. She was not meant for this. Neither her, nor the young knight just barely a page, offering themselves both into slavery and the cruel oblivion that was the loss of one's own mind. Memories scored away, with only Metallia's deep claw marks left to scar afterwards.
It was hard to get the gist of everything that had happened, when she'd watched the last few scenes play out through the grill of a large pipe -- but Hvergelmir thought she had a decent idea of it.
And regardless, Scholomance was in peril.
Hvergelmir touched her thumb to the side of her summons ring reflexively, just to reassure herself it was there. If she could get close enough to Scholomance, get him away from Schörl, she could teleport him away and no one would have to be sacrificed -- if -- but that meant time and proximity, and the likelihood that the Negaverse would not have accounted for a teleporter in Order's ranks. It meant getting Schörl to somehow willingly release her best bargaining chip. Hvergelmir wasn't sure there was any way to make that happen. Perhaps if Kerberos were here, he could've backed her play -- but none of these people knew Hvergelmir more than just to speak of, none of them would be in a position to help her out. Still, she had to come up with something. Otherwise, someone was going to be lost to this conflict.
She surveyed the field as she began to walk forward, slow and steady -- and then . . .
Scholomance tumbled forward, separating from his starseed, and Schörl and the starseed also fell . . .
Hvergelmir broke into a dead run. She had only one thought: without both halves of Scholomance, Schörl had nothing. "GRAB HIS BODY!" she shouted in the direction of the other knights, hurrying to try and get there before any Negaverse agents could. "NOW! CLOSE RANKS!"
HP: 200 / 200 DMG: N/A PER: 8 + 20 = 28 Effects: Just in case anyone Order-side is wondering if they are being motivated, have some verbal motivation to hustle like your life depends on it and get dat booty and circle up around it. Persuasion roll is really just for fun here, your character can ignore Hver as they see fit.
There was enough going down that Chrysocolla felt little-to-no guilt about leaving Leucite and Hauyne to their own battles: the corrupt had looked competent enough, and Leucite -- well, he had a spear against a net and a woman in little more than silks and cloth. They were adults; they'd known coming out here could get them killed, and she felt no shame.
Kerberos, though -- well. She didn't think about Kerberos.
But her teleporting was efficient, and even through the worry she'd go too far, she managed to land herself just shy of the central fiasco - and she called her magic to her hands - "Warhol Mood Refraction," like a gift, like a whisper.
"Showtime," Chrysocolla said, almost casual, as she sidestepped and thrust her magical orb to - and through - Hy-Brasil's back. Now to see if she'd picked the right choice.

HI THERE HY-BRASIL HAVE A FEELINGS?? Magic affects 1 target and lasts for 2 posts. Effect under spoiler!
If this attack connects, it temporarily reverses the enemy's primary emotion for twenty seconds; i.e., bravery to cowardice. Unlike Warhol Mood Reversal, this attack cannot be shaken off prior to the natural timeout, even if the enemy realizes their emotions have been affected.

General Cinnabar
Cinnabar had only a moment to sneer back at the senshi that had her pinned before she was hefted higher, and then flung.
At least those blasted tentacles released her, but not without a truly savage beating that made her entire form ache. She twisted in an attempt to right herself, instinct struggling to get her legs under her… and slender arms closed around her as a lean body leaped through the air, halting her wild flight. They landed with surprising ease, courtesy of the grace of the small woman that held her. Cin struggled, her head spinning, and shoved the arms away from her as she landed on hands and knees.
“Thanks, doll face.” She rasped, trying to gather her breath.

It had all happened so damn fast! Tortuga had been able to escape from the dragon lady only to watch as she got chucked at the scary lady standing behind the bone knight. Apparently she was doing something, holding him hostage some way. The page had missed the request for a trade, if he had heard it he would have spoken up like others had. He was still naive to the ways of the negaverse, yes he had been kidnapped by then but he had thought it had all been a dream and he hadn't been a knight then, yes he had seen the aftermath of various attacks, and yes he had the dangers drummed into his head by his family but he had never, besides those creepy a** bats on halloween, directly interacted with them. At least not to this extent.
Then, before he could really understand it, the bone knight collapsed and everyone jumped into action. What had been minor confusion broke out into true chaos as several people started to move at once, one even appeared from nowhere at least that's how it seemed to the redheaded page. Tortuga didn't need some lady in a sparkling white dress and poofy hair (Hvergelmir) to yell out, ordering them to close rank, he was already racing towards the prone body of his fellow knight. "Got to get somewhere protective. Got to try to keep him breathing." It was kind of like a mantra that he muttered as he skidded to a stop at the duo (Hy-Brasil&Ptolemaeus) who currently had the knight. "Let me help. I'm a EMT." He didn't care that he had left the minor protection of his building or that his backpack didn't hold nearly enough gear for this sort of situation, he only cared that someone needed his help and desperately. "His starseed? Where is it?" Tortuga had never witnessed one losing their soul through force but he had had damn good teachers and knew the signs. So much needed to be done and so little time to do it.
tl;dr - Tortuga realizes everything went to hell in a handbasket, runs to help with body, is EMT let him help yes?

Ptolemaeus, DMS of Change
Aside from his concern that the squire lady wouldn't be able to carry it away on her own, one reason Ptolemaeus had gone for the knight's body first instead of the starseed was that he, at the most basic level of Dark Mirror, had practically less than a zero percent chance of going against a Negaverse General and surviving, let alone trying to wrest anything as fragile as a starseed from them.
And as a corrupt senshi appeared to intercept them in their haste to get away, he was glad he had. Even if the Earth Squire (Hy-Brasil) was impaired by the chaotic magic, at least he could try to continue their goal to move Scholomance's empty shell somewhere safe. Even if he'd been burden-free and able to fight back, his magic still wouldn't have had any effect on that which was beyond his own level, which was basic. There was no point in attempting to block, reverse, or counter it.
Trying not to look back or pause to worry about what had happened to the female red head, Ptolemy pressed on until he came across the Jupiter Page from before (Tortuga). The mention that the older male was an EMT lifted the Dark Mirror's spirits a little, but he didn't dare allow his hopes to rise too high. He sealed out whatever feelings had began to seep into his rational thought process with a temporary barricade of calm nonchalance as he adjusted his load to balance more securely across his shoulders. Lacking an arm, the unconscious man was lighter than he might normally have been, but it also made it more difficult to keep a hold on him.
"His starseed might still be with the general who pulled it out. I'm not sure if the others managed to get it back yet," he admitted, meeting sapphire blue eyes. "I'd rather stay focused on the part of him we do have for now, though, lest we lose them both. Where should we take him?" His gaze darted toward the dead storefront just beside the Circle K and he nodded toward it. "That place work? We might be able to defend him more easily from there." It wasn't exactly a fortified safehouse, but it was a shelter of sorts.
HP: 100 / 100 PER: 10 DEF: 0 DMG: — Effects: +2 Accuracy to anyone attacking/targeting Ptolemy (due to his carrying the body) until the body is relinquished
Everything seemed to shift into high gear shortly after Ceraskia hit the pair of senshi with her magic - it provided less entertainment (and damage) than he'd hoped, but still, it had been somewhat effective which was, were he being honest with himself, far more than he could say of himself. Key in hand, he moved slowly into the heart of the fracas as more Order folks appeared.
Where did they all come from suddenly? Did our agents fail to keep them from the central space? Ridiculous, unless they're being overrun too. Just how many of these Order characters are there? Keyite wished his General were there, if for no other reason that he trusted Aurostibite with his whole being, not to say he didn't trust Ceraskia's Generals, but he was less familiar with them and their tactics and the element of uncertainty that lent probably meant that he were at fault, which rankled.
At the heart, the flame-eyed General Schörl held court with half-youma General Cinnabar protecting her from that weird tentacle eternal and others. Cinnabar looked worse for the wear and likely needed backing up, but he was a lieutenant, that abyssal creature would ruin him, wholly. It would be nothing of a contest of strength, and more just him throwing himself on a grenade. Which I will do, if there are no better options. He watched Cinnabar go flying, watched the pretty dancer catch he, and felt again that he was doing little to help.
But he was infinitely practical and didn't suffer such thoughts long, distracted nigh immediate as the knight being taken by Schörl fell to the ground, star seed removed, he heard command given to collect the body.
Now that was something he could do. Keyite's grip on his antique key grew tighter, eyes narrowing as that neon nightmare went to help an Earth knight run off with their prize - soon enough joined by another bloody senshi. But he was close enough that he could creep up behind the scampering thieves, Keyite checked one last time that he'd put his weapon securely within his fist to make the blow more devastating before going after Ptolemaeus from behind, he wanted to slam into the dark moon senshi's head, but they were moving and while he was generally accurate as hell with a bow...this was melee fighting and it was possible he'd miss the blighter's head and hit shoulder or neck.
It only mattered somewhat, as long as he forced him to drop the body, which would slow down the other two and make it easier for that green-haired eternal to kick some additional a**.

The black fuku was enough to set the Squire on high alert. If she hadn’t had her hands full with Scholomance she would have turned instantly on the DMS to clobber him with her incense burner. After all, she had no idea which side he was truly with and at this point she was dead determined to protect Scholomance’s body. She’d be DAMNED if she let chaos get a hold of him. Not now. Not after everything he’d gone through!
And within an instant, as the DMS was working to get the body, Hy-Brasil just didn’t care anymore. She stood there as she watched him cart off Scholomance towards what could be considered a line of defense for Order, but really, there was no interest in knowing what happened to the cargo she had been struggling with. That strong protectiveness that had been so dominant in her being had turned to complete apathy in half a second. Why had she even cared? She couldn’t even dig up the want to worry anymore and turned her back on the retreating forms. For all that it mattered to her, the Knight could stay well enough dead.
She -was- still in a battle though. One that she felt a burning desire to win. Why? She didn’t know, but hell, she had the want to hit a few things! Ignoring Hver’s command, Hy-Brasil found herself looking at the corrupted senshi (Ceraski) and the half-youma General (Cin). Her decision was made.
Icy eyes fixated on the corrupted as she barreled towards the duo. Once within striking distance, Hy-Brasil swung her incense burner towards the corrupts chest. A small trail of smoke followed the trajectory of the weapon as it arched towards the petite ballet corrupt.

PFfft, F that fool! She don’t care what happens to you now!
The pain that sizzled along her veins and the blood running from her wounds did not bode well for the rest of this fight. She hasn't wanted to do it… but it was fast looking like she was out of options.
Maybe it would be okay. She was strong. She could control it! And… even if she couldn't, at least if there was ever a place to unleash a beast… it was here.
Gathering herself, Cinnabar jerked back as the red headed squire rushed her and her rescuer. Her incense burner swung wide if Cinnabar herself and with a roar, the General reached out and tore reality open. From the dark gash in the air, five youma poured like broken, seething masses and darted in all directions.
One was not quite fast enough to escape the grasp of the woman who had been prepared for it and it shrieked in pain as she wrestled it closer.
