The shadow wizard growled in frustration. His attack was being destroyed by nothing more than a child, "If I can't hit you, then how about that flying rat of yours?" He snarled, "Shadow Slice!" Sharp blades of shadow flew towards Yuki. The man smirked. If his plan worked, they would be much closer to their goal. Even if the spell didn't hit Yuki, someone else would have to take the hit to protect him and his money was on the water dragon slayer. Unless Alyssa got in the way again. The requip mage was starting to annoy him with her continuous attacks against him. Even though he wasn't the S-Class of his group, they all seemed a lot more focused on him. Seeing a second water attack coming his way, he leapt surprisingly high to avoid the high-pressured blast. These Fairy Tail wizards were stubborn as hell. Meanwhile, the paper wizard was also becoming annoyed. Her poison had failed thanks to Alyssa's convenient wind scythe. She'd thought this would be easier. Granted she knew Alyssa would be no walk in the park but the two A-Class wizard were proving just as difficult to handle. She'd especially underestimated the ice-make wizard. As she watched her guild mate become frozen on the spot, it was clear Katiki was definitely living up to her nickname: cold and harsh just like her magic. The ice queen of Fairy Tail. The woman had to be smart. The more she pushed these three, the more they pushed back. Pulling out several pieces of silver paper, this time in the shape of stars, she threw them in a scattering motion making them fly out at all directions, wanting to hit anyone and anything, "Paper Shuriken!" The wood-make wizard was starting to panic. Upon hearing the word 'sculpture' she'd expected Katiki to create something that would attack her, not outright turn HER into the sculpture, "Quick! Throw me some red paper!" she shouted at her guild mate who was too busy attacking the other wizards to pay attention. She cried out one last time before she became completely frozen.
Noxious poison roiled its way throughout the forest. Its fumes engulfing all that was within sight. Kaya hoped that she had gotten to the others in time. While she had the ability to cure them if it came down to it, she would much prefer the need not be there in the first place. Some poisons were harder to dispel than others within the body and they were still in the middle of a fight. It was too risky. Of course, she could continue to replenish the bubbles of water over their faces to keep the poison at bay, but even that would have its limitations. Come on, Kaya. Think! There has to be something to get rid of this junk. Fortunately, as it turned out, Alyssa had just the ticket. A gust of wind brushed past her to instantly clear the air of the toxin. “Much better!” She cheered, giving a thumb up to the S-rank. “Thanks!” As she did, the girl noticed that Katiki managed to land a solid strike to the wood-make mage, effectively imprisoning her in ice and making her less of a threat to them. “That’s what I’m talking about, Katiki!”“Way to go!” Yuki whooped encouragingly.
With the threat of poison no longer looming over them, Kaya could level her full concentration on the man and his attacks. Her fists connected with their shadow counterparts, destroying one after the other with each strike. “Heh,” Kaya smirked. The shadow mage’s growing frustration rang loud and true. Let’s see how you like this… She was confident that her next blow would connect. The distance between them was small enough that he wouldn’t be able to evade her Storm Fist. “Ready or not! Here I come!” A powerful stream of water unleashed itself onto the man. Yet, even as she thrust her arm ahead of her, the teenager could sense that something was off. For an instant, her vision blurred and her muscles tensed. The involuntary action threw her aim off and lessened the strength of the spell, affording the shadow wizard the chance to jump high into the air, avoiding the jet of water altogether.
“Wh--what the hell?” She stared at the man in confusion. His sneer of delight sending a chill down her spine. The words he’d spoken mere seconds before finally registering in her mind. “Yuki!” Kaya spun around to locate her friend. In her bid to take the fight to the dark mages, she’d left him completely exposed. He could use his Aera magic to dodge any incoming attacks, but there were no guarantees. Finally, her eyes locked onto his form about five yards away from her. The Exceed appeared as a silver streak in the sky as he ducked and weaved his way around some smaller, sharp objects that had been hurled his way. With his focus on the spell coming at him from the front, Kaya realized that he was left completely vulnerable from behind. She reacted on instinct and raced forward. Her heart pumped with adrenaline, propelling her forward so that she could get ahead of the shadow blades. Water Dragon’s Cloak! Water coated her body once again at the summons. Without a second thought, she dove at the feline, wrapping her arms around him and pulling him close just in time. Pain lanced across her back as the blades found their mark. Her water cloak doing little more than dulling the sensation and diminishing the damage. The force of the blow also being sufficient to knock her off her feet and into the trunk of an awaiting oak tree. “Gak!” Kaya slumped against the wood, her breathing labored. Yuki’s orbs peered from where he sat cradled in her arms. “K--Kaya!” He didn’t like the pained expression on her face. She’d taken that hit for him. To protect him! Because he wasn’t paying attention to everything he should have been.
Shaking her head, the teenager offered him a comforting smile. “Lucky shot.” She took one of her arms from around him, reaching behind to work herself back into a standing position. “Won’t be happening again.” Her gaze locked onto the Exceed’s. “Just be careful and stay out of range. Mkay?” Wide eyes greeted her as Yuki bobbed his head in agreement. “Okay.” Although hesitant, he understood the concern. She couldn’t watch out for him all the time, yet she wanted to keep him safe. Having him out of range would prevent the dark mages from attacking him to get to her while also providing a veritable eye in the sky, so to speak. Yuki took that bit of logic to heart. Sprouting wings, he flew high above the battlefield, coming to a hover where he assumed any spells couldn’t reach him. Kaya followed his retreating back until she could barely see him. Satisfied he would be safe for the moment, she returned her attention to the shadow mage. Her smile faded into a dark sneer. “You’re gonna pay for attacking Yuki like that. Nobody does that and gets away with it! Water Dragon’s Secret Art--” Kaya focused water around her arms as she started to move them. “Midnight Palm!” Swiping in a circular fashion, the Dragon Slayer generated a long torrent of water that would be even more powerful than her previous one. The Midnight Palm spell was one of her strongest spells taught to her by her dragon father. Highly destructive, anyone unlucky enough to encounter it could suffer serious injuries.

Alyssa breathed in the fresh air, "If my scythe required two hands we'd be screwed," she said with relief. Feeling something cold on her arm, she looked down to see Katiki's hand releasing an icy glaze onto her skin that soothed the burning sensation left by the shadow snake bites. She smiled at her best friend, "Thank you, Inu. That feels a lot better," she said. Stepping back for a moment to allow the spell to take effect on her arm, she watched the wave of ice travel across the ground towards the wood-make wizard and trap the unlucky dark mage, freezing her to the spot and turning her into literally an ice sculpture. "Nice work!" she beamed. That meant one wizard was temporarily down and wouldn't be able to avoid any attacks. Whilst it could be considered bad taste to kick someone when they were already down, Alyssa wasn't about to make an effort to prevent the wood-make wizard from suffering any attacks in her frozen state. With the pain in her arm finally diminished, the requip mage jumped straight back into action, hopping gracefully between trees to avoid the paper shurikens being thrown at the three of them, "You might be strong but your aim leaves a lot to be desired," she said matter-of-factly to the paper wizard. Hearing a loud bang, Alyssa turned to see Kaya on the floor against a tree, clothes torn by what she could only assume was more shadow blades, "That b**tard," she growled. Leaping to a low branch, she decided against helping Kaya up. This was going to be a learning experience just as much as it was a real fight. She observed the dragon slayer as she ramped up her power, using one of her more powerful attacks. Water swirled in long torrents, uprooting smaller trees and creating cracks in the ground. Being stuck to the spot, the wood-make wizard received a full blow, washing her away a fair distance. Alyssa sarcastically waved goodbye to the frozen figure. Unfortunately, the paper wizard had taken a page out of Alyssa's book and took sanctuary in a nearby tree and the shadow wizard had also somehow avoided it. But not all was lost. She hadn't wanted to use her trump card too soon but since the effects of Katiki's spell would only last for a little while, now would be the time. Dropping from her perch, she ran straight into Kaya's attack, "Requip: Tyrant Dragon!" she cried. Black armour glinted in the sunlight and large wings sprouted from the back plate. Her Guardian Knight sword disappeared and was replaced with a plain silver blade that had a black handle. Dragons were embossed into the shoulder guards and the swords hilt. Normally the existence of this armour was no more than a rumour, a fantasy dreamed up by requip mages across the world and any who discovered its existence rarely believed it to be true, but Alyssa was in sole possession of this unique set forged by her family, never to be replicated again. "Sorry, Kaya, I don't mean to steal your limelight but I'm borrowing this," she said, putting the tip into the water. As she did, the torrents that had missed the shadow wizard began to be absorbed into the sword, turning the plain silver into a deep ocean-blue. She turned her attention back to the dark wizards, "Water Dragon Midnight Blade!" she shouted, swinging the weapon towards their opponents. The water that had been absorbed was sent shooting back out in the curved motion of her strike.

Katiki jumped back as her attack was a success, "That's one down."" she said softly. She quickly jumped back as paper shurikens were coming her way, she moved into the bushes for some cover. "Dammit! We don't have much time left." Katiki spoke softly. "I can't stay here for long either that shadow wizard is bound to come at any moment.". Taking a quick breather she peaked out of the bushes, she saw an amazing amount of water coming from Kaya, small trees and the wood make wizard was washed away. "That leaves two left." With wide eyes Katiki saw one of Alyssa's ultimate armor "That's her Tyrant Dragon armor! dammit Alyssa you have to be careful.." Katiki said softly.
After a few moments Katiki smiled. *I guess I have no choice but to use it now.* Katiki looked around and saw her wolf in hiding, weak from attacks. With a whistle the wolfs ears perked and came sneaking to Katiki. "Good wolf. Now we need to try and finish this, you up for it." she asked the ice creature. It nodded and Katiki smiled. She got on its back and took a deep breath. "Ice make Ice sword!" she commanded as a beautiful sword appeared in her hand. "Alright I need you to get as high as possible once again my friend." The wolf nodded and ran, jumping as high as possible, the air blowing through her hair, Katiki took a deep breath. and stood on the back of the ice wolf. "Thank you my friend, go rest." the wolf nodded hesitantly and disappeared in a shimmer of ice specks. "Now its time! Ice make! Ice Giant!!" Katiki screamed as a giant formed, Katiki landing on its shoulder. Katiki's breathing started to become ragged, not used to the sudden drain of magic. *No wonder I don't use this one that often* she thought, Through hazy eyes she saw Alyssa and Kaya fighting with all their might. "Go, heed my bidding," she said trying to control her breathing. "Destroy that shadow wizard!" Katiki commanded
The shadow wizards eyes widened at the sudden burst of power emitting from the dragon slayer. Perhaps attacking the flying cat wasn't such a good idea. As torrents of water lashed out from Kaya's arms, he had to move quickly. Using his Shadow Form, he disappeared into the ground, moving at a much faster speed to evade the slayer's attack and reappeared once the main brunt of the powerful spell had passed, "That was a little too close for comfort," he murmured. The paper wizard had kept her distance, staying in her tree but the wood-make wizard had taken the full hit, the force cracking the ice that held her to the ground and toppling her sculpture. The man had half expected her to crack. Stepping out from his hiding place, he'd assumed the coast was clear. How wrong he was. The requip mage had somehow acquired a sword with the power to absorb the dragon slayer's attack and send it rocketing back with just as much force if not more. Unable to move it time, he was caught by the water and flung around, finally hitting the ground a few metres away. Nearby, the paper wizard had also been hit by one of the torrents, flinging her off of her perch to crumple onto the ground, "What the hell, how is that even possible?!" she exclaimed. By now the wood-make wizard had been washed away into the trees somewhere to slowly melt out of her icy casing. There wasn't much time to gather their thoughts before the ground began to shake beneath them. Looking up, the two dark wizards were met with the sight of an enormous giant made of ice, making his way towards them. It swung it's huge arms towards the shadow wizard, hitting him square in the chest. He flew backwards, crashing through trees, scraping across the ground until he was brought to a halt by a huge rock which he slammed into full-force. The resultant shockwaves made their way to the wood-make wizard, cracking her cold outer shell slightly. The paper wizard couldn't believe how easily her team were being subdued. This wasn't what she'd planned, she was sure her team had been picked out well. Even with the recklessness of the young wood-make wizard, it shouldn't have gone so badly. Clearly their information on the other members of Fairy Tail weren't sufficient enough, "Try this one on for size; Paper Blizzard: Indigo Dance!" A whirl of indigo paper few towards the three Fairy Tail wizards, intending to incase each of them in their own sphere in order to surround them with images of the most traumatic events of their lives. Every painful experience they'd had emotionally would be relived.
OOC: I so so SO badly f**ked up the calculations. Totally forgot that Katiki was down as a B-class mage and I'd been typing her out as an A-class! So sorry for the mix up 😣 In other news, the wood-make wizard is out of action - congrats!

After unleashing her attack, Kaya dropped to one knee. Her breathing grew rough as she tried to focus on the enemies before her. What the hell is wrong with me? She hadn’t hit either the shadow mage or the paper mage with her spell. The only one who’d been hit was the wood-make mage, and that was because she couldn’t move from her frozen prison. Why’s my aim off so bad? It was the second time her aim wasn’t up to par, which was unheard of for the slayer. Something felt off. But what could it be? Alyssa’s sudden presence nearby drew her from her worried thoughts. Glancing upwards, she shoved those concerns away, hiding them deep behind a smirk for her guildmate. “Whatever it takes to make those b*****ds pay.” Her gaze remained locked onto the S-rank as she performed her spell. A sense of awe welled up inside of the teenager at the unique ability of the armor, as well as the precision of the strike. “I never knew you had something like that, Aly!” Kaya’s eyes glistened in wonderment. An armor that could absorb a Dragon Slayer’s attacks and utilize them in kind- it was amazing! Even the name was befitting. “So cool!” The armor certainly seemed to do the trick too. Alyssa’s secondary assault with the torrents of water connected with both the dark mages, flinging the shadow mage a good distance away while dislodging the paper mage from her perch among the tree limbs. While distracted, Katiki made her move against the enemy. Kaya blinked in surprise at the summoning of the large ice giant. It's bigger than a house! Towering almost as high as the treetops, it held an imposing presence. One that the shadow man quickly received the brunt from. The ice-make wizard wasted little time. At her call, the giant’s large hand batted him away like some fly, sending him careening across the ground. “Heh, remind me never to get on your bad side, Katiki!” Her head turned askew so that she could look at the woman while her voice carried. The girl’s eyes narrowed at what she witnessed, however. Katiki’s breaths were haggard and strained. It didn’t take but a second to realize the drain that the spell had put on her. Blue orbs shifted back to Alyssa. She too appeared to be feeling the effects of the fight and using her more powerful attacks.
Closing her eyes, Kaya pushed herself into a standing position. While she couldn’t heal her friends, she could offer them some relief from the magic drain that the fight put them through. Clouds slowly gathered over the field, coalescing directly above her friends. Bit by bit, rain dripped from the heavens until it came down in a faint misty cloud. Only the Fairy Tail wizards would be engulfed by it. “Water Dragon’s Secret Art: Replenishing Rain!” As the rain would pour, Alyssa and Katiki would be overcome with the sensation of their magic returning to them. It wouldn’t be all of it, simply a portion, but hopefully enough to ease the stress. They would have to use the boost in magic power wisely. Kaya could perform this particular spell once because it drew from her own reserves. A fact which often went unnoticed due to her high stamina. With that spell complete, the Dragon Slayer switched gears to perform her own attack on the dark wizards. However, the paper wizard already set her own in motion. Hundreds of sheets of indigo hued paper swirled around the three Fairy Tail wizards. “What the—!” Kaya stared in shock as the paper merged around her, sealing her inside of a sphere. “Kaya!” Yuki stared in horror. Paper flew everywhere to encase his guildmates. “I’m coming!” He knew coming down from the sky would be risky. The dark mages could attack again at any moment, but he didn’t care about that. All he wanted to do was to help. Landing atop and somewhat to the rear of the orb imprisoning his friend, the Exceed clawed away at the paper prison. His tiny paws swiping back and forth in fevered frenzy, determination written in his features. For Kaya, no sooner had the last sheet placed itself, and the light from outside faded, that she felt a deep sense of confusion and foreboding. Voices echoed all around. Indistinct in their form, yet ringing loudly in her ears. The emotions represented varied. Sorrow, desperation, hostility, every single one palpable. Then came the shadows. Much like the voices, they were incomplete but their intent clear. They wanted something. Something from her. But what, she didn’t know. It was as if a war raged inside. One set of shadows called to her- the saddened pleas- whereas the others- the hostile shouts- moved to restrain and subdue. A whirlwind of things long forgotten. It was too much confusion, too much uncertainty. Kaya panicked. She wanted it to stop. She NEEDED it to stop. “Stoooop iiitttt!” Her cries echoed around the sphere as water pulsated around her body briefly before bursting outward to shred the paper.
Yuki heard her shouts from within. Taking one last swat, he took to the air again and waited. The now ripped and soggy sheets of indigo crumpled into heaps at the slayer’s feet. Her legs buckled at the same instant, bringing her crashing to her knees. She remained upright for the most part, however, though her breaths came in gasps. Her body tensed and her heart raced. It felt like a hundred thousand needles were suddenly pricking her skin. “Kaya?” She picked up the concern in his tone. The unasked question weighing heavily between them as he drew closer. “Go…check on the others.” Kaya waved him off with a shake of the head. Her focus on the dark mages while she reigned in the pain. Just a bit longer. That’s all they needed. Yuki failed to move at first. Blue-grey eyes flicking back and forth uncertainly. “Are you sure? I can help—”“It’ll be okay. I’m pretty sure they can break outta there by themselves, but these guys might try something before that. I don’t wanna give ‘em the chance.” She spared a brief glance to her partner, offering a faint smile in reassurance. “Use those wings of yours to move ‘em if you have to, okay?” Yuki frowned. He still didn’t like it, but she did make a point. “Okay,” he gave a quick nod before dashing off. “Just don’t do anything stupid!”“Heh,” the teenager smirked, returning her attention back to their opponents. “Let’s see how this one goes.” Struggling to stretch out her right arm, Kaya kept her eyes locked onto the two dark mages, hoping that her vision wouldn’t blur again just yet. “Water Dragon’s Cell Binding!” This was one of her more advanced spells. If successful, the technique would target the water inside of their bodies on the molecular level, forcing them to become static which would cause the muscles to lock up, ultimately causing temporary paralysis.
✸ OOC ✸ Just wanted to clarify that Kaya did end up inhaling some of the poisonous gas from earlier. It took her a bit to feel the effects of it though. Her body can process the poison too, but it does take some time, which is why she's having a hard time with it now. *EDIT* Sorry for the double quotes. Forgot to roll. -_-

Alyssa was ecstatic that her armour had worked. It had been a long time since she'd used it but this was the first time she'd used the absorbed magic immediately after gathering it. That alone had used up a lot of energy and she was panting quite heavily. Smiling at Kaya, she giggled, "Yep, my dad created it. Ever since he found out about the existence of dragon slayers he wanted to make me into a true dragon-slaying knight like in fantasy books. Personally, I don't intend to go hunting dragons but the power to slay them is still an epic thing to wield," she beamed, filled with pride for her father's work. All of a sudden the ground began to shake and the sound of something like an earthquake reached the requip mage's ears. Turning to the source of the noise, she was met with the sight of a huge, hulking giant made purely of ice. "Oh my word," she uttered. This was surely one of Katiki's ultimate spells. She'd never seen this before and as it swung it's giant arms to successfully strike down the shadow wizard, Alyssa was truly amazed by her best friend's talent. Though, whilst impressive and powerful, it appeared the spell had taken a toll on the ice-make wizard, "Inu, be careful! You'll run out of magic energy if you don't watch yourself!" she called out. Without notice, Alyssa spotted pieces of indigo-coloured paper starting to surround her. She'd let her observance slip, "What is this?!" she exclaimed as it surrounded her, trapping her in a sphere. Out of nowhere, images started flashing in her mind. The voice of her mother resounded in her ears, "You're just going to let her do this? Pack up and go to become a part of a guild on the other side of the world and join a bunch of destructive hooligans? Ridiculous! She's only eighteen and has no idea about the real world!" Why was she thinking of this now? What was going on? She didn't want to see or remember this. More images, visions of her parents fighting over her decision to leave home, the first time she'd ever seen them fight so viscously in her whole life and the only time her mother had threatened never to talk to her again if she went through with her plans to fly to New York. "Stop, stop fighting. I'm sorry. It's my fault, I'm sorry," she pleaded quietly, dropping her sword and covering her ears. She needed to focus. This wasn't real, they were just memories, things weren't like that anymore. Alyssa shut her eyes tightly, "You can't keep me in here! You can't use these memories against me! They mean nothing, everything is fine now!" she shouted. Grabbing her sword again she swung out to break the sphere, though most of the emotional damage had been done. She felt exhausted. The ground around her seemed to be covered in more water than before, like it had been raining. It must have been one of Kaya's spells, perhaps her replenishing rain as it seemed to be evenly distributed. The paper prisons must have prevented the spell of reaching her and Katiki. Gritting her teeth, the requip mage turned her attention to the paper wizard, "You're going to pay for that," she growled, "Requip: Dark Repulser!" she commanded. Her armour stayed black but lost its sculpted dragon shoulder guards, changing to a much simpler design, and her now empty blade changed to a black two-handed sword, "Let's see how you handle having shadows of your own to deal with!" she snarled, "Deadly Sins!" Using her expertise, Alyssa performed seven manoeuvres; two horizontal swings, a vertical slice and two diagonal cuts before a full circle swing and a final jab forwards . Each movement sent a wave of shadow magic in its wake, rocketing towards the two remaining dark guild wizards.

Katiki nodded at Alyssa. "I'll be fine." she said as her giant swung its arm and hit the shadow wizard with such force, she could have sworn she herd some bones crack, but then again, it could have been the rock he hit. Taking a final breath looked at her comrades from on top of her giant. With wide eyes she saw her friends being wrapped in paper. "Oh no.." she said softly as indigo colored paper came for her as well. She tried to move out the way but it followed her movements and started to encase her. Katiki's ice blue eyes covered by the last of the paper.
"Mom! Dad! Where are we going!" she said happily holding her parents hand *W-What is this?* Katiki thought as she looked around at this image. *Is that me?* she thought as she saw a smiling little girl with snow white hair of her father, and ice blue eyes that matched her mothers. "Its a surprise my child" the man spoke softly, but when he turned to look at the child Katiki saw what haunted her dreams every night. "NO! NO!!!" Katiki screamed as the image of what her parents looked like after the accident. With a quick turn she tried to run but saw the same little girl being carried away by an old woman. " Shut up you B***h! if it wasn't for you my son would still be alive!" the woman screamed at the small child. "T-THIS ISN'T REAL!!!" Katiki screamed As she closed her eyes and fell to the ground, hold her head as tears started streaming from her eyes "IT WASN'T MY FAULT! ITS NOT MY FAULT!" she screamed. Katiki's body fell against the ice giant's shoulder. As her breathing became erratic, everything around her started to grow ice cold. "ITS NOT MY FAULT!!!" Katiki screamed once more as the paper that surrounded her shattered from the burst of cold that came from Katiki's body. With tears streaming down her face, she couldn't breath, and started hyperventilating, "Its not my fault, Its not my fault" she started chanting while on the giants shoulder all the while, Katiki's eyes glazed over and she screamed in pain, the giant screaming with her. The roar of the giant shaking the earth below. As Katiki's breathing started to become normal again she breathed out an icy breath. The giant speaking through Katiki. "How dare you! HOW DARE YOU!" it screamed out as Katiki on top screamed the same thing. " ICE SHRAPNEL" the giant and Katiki moved their hands in sync as ice shards few towards the two wizards."I WILL KILL YOU!!" she screamed as she gripped her sword in her hand.
OOC: Just so you know the giant isn't using the attack Katiki is, I know it sounds slightly confusing with the hands moving in sync, and the voice thing but its due to her being overly enraged and now not in control of her powers atm due to that memory, so she's fighting in a frenzy right now.

"You have not disposed of them yet?!" a tanned skinned man bellowed with dissatisfaction. A scowl was worn on his face as he emerged from his perch. Throughout this skirmish, he watched as the wizards from Fairy Tail were taking control of the fight. "I cannot watch any more of this sorry display of fighting from the lot of you," his voice of disgust aimed at his so called guld mates. "You are not worthy to be in the presence of the Son of Ra!" he spat at them. His eyes then turned to the Ice Mage, Requip Mage, and then to the Water Dragon Slayer. "You, I can understand being stronger," his eyes then turned to Alyssa and Katiki. "You two I will dispose of and then I will deal with you," the same scowl was on his face.
The paper wizard laughed. Her spell had worked. She could hear the pained yells of her opponents, "This is glorious! Yes! Scream, yell, cry, whatever you can to block it all out but you'll never truly escape it," she cackled. The water dragon slayer was the first to emerge from her paper prison and jumped straight into action. But it was all too soon. The memories that had shown themselves clearly messed with her focus and aim as the paper wizard easily danced out of the way of her attacks. The requip mage was the second to break free but appeared much more coherent. Perhaps her memories weren't as severe. The paper wizard had clearly misjudged what exactly the fairy tail wizards would be shown in their pasts and as large, scythe-like blades of shadow magic came at her from all angles, she wasn't able to escape the dark cage of attacks which sliced into her arms and legs. She cried out in pain and stumbled backwards. When the ice-make wizard finally appeared, it was clear what she'd been shown was the most traumatic. Her scream of fury resounded through the trees and ice shards flew through the air, hitting the paper wizard all over her body with needle-like punctures. Meanwhile the shadow wizard felt overwhelmed. He thought for sure that the spell his guild mate cast would put the trio out of action but as he leapt to avoid the water dragon slayers attack, it was clear it didn't have the desired effect, "What did you do?! Give them extra power?! They're worse than before!" he yelled at the woman, yelping as multiple blades of what looked like shadow, sliced his skin. How was it possible that he could fall to the same magic he used? The cuts were deep and blood pouted down his arms, causing him to feel dizzy. The final blow was the pieces of ice that stabbed at his skin. It was all too much and he fell to the ground, losing consciousness. The paper wizard watched her guild mate drop to the floor like a sack of potatoes, "Sh*t! Get up you useless son of a b*tch!" she growled. This was it, she was all alone with three powerful wizards. Or at least she thought she was. But as a smooth voice spoke behind her with harsh words, she turned her head to see none other than Aadava Bonami, another S-Class wizard from Dragon's Bane but ranked above her in that group. "You followed us?" she asked him, slightly annoyed that the guild master hadn't trusted her enough to let her deal with the Fairy Tail wizards alone. She grit her teeth as the man scowled and belittled her, "You're as big of a d*ck as ever. If you want them, fine, deal with it yourself. I'll take these two idiots back to the guild," she said, "But not before I leave them with a parting gift," she smirked, producing another piece of red paper, "Paper Blizzard: Red Dance." she released the paper towards the three wizards before taking out a piece of blue paper, "Paper Blizzard: Blue Dance." The blue paper multiplied and moved to form a kind of sailboat in which she loaded the wood-make and shadow wizard before flying out of the trees.
“D**n it.” Her arm dropped to her side. Her cell binding spell had absolutely no effect on the dark mages. They continued to move about freely and threaten her friends. Kaya couldn’t understand what was going on. Not only had the cell binding failed, but so too had her replenishing rain been deterred. The paper prisons from the paper mage formed around the others faster than she could cast her own spell. To say it abnormal would be an understatement. Something’s definitely wrong here. The teenager focused on the dark mages before her. Nearby sounds of clawing touched her ears, indicating that Yuki was busily trying to free the others. Her vision swam, making two wizards into four. Tch. Kaya grit her teeth and shook her head. The movement serving to exacerbate the intense needling sensation across her skin. It was getting harder to concentrate. Come on! Pull it together! Now’s not the time! Alyssa and Katiki were still trapped. If they didn’t break out of the paper soon…
A sudden rending shout tore from Alyssa’s prison. Kaya turned in time to see the silver tip of the S-rank’s sword pierce the side before vanquishing the paper in a single swipe. Alyssa wasted no time in doling out her own spell on the dark mages, anger written clearly in her scowling features and actions. It wasn’t long afterwards that another blood-curdling scream filled the forest. A shattering noise indicated that Katiki too had broken free. Her raw hatred and rage pulsated in the Dragon Slayer’s senses as she and the giant moved as one, launching ice shards at their opponents. Despite having managed to avoid Kaya’s own attack, the mages were unable to avoid those of her guildmates. “Heh heh, told you not to underestimate us.” Kaya smiled smugly at the pained expression upon the paper wielder’s face. Both of her companions were unconscious, leaving her to fend for herself against some very pissed off women.
Yet no sooner had the tide fallen in their favor than another made himself known. Kaya’s nose wrinkled at the scent wafting from the man. He smelled like a dessert in the middle of the day- arid and laced with ozone. His arrogance and egotism were displayed in his derogatory comments to his comrades. “There was another one hiding too?!” Yuki asked in disbelief. After the others were freed, he'd swiftly returned to Kaya's side, only to find that they had yet another foe to face. His blue-grey orbs drifted over to his friend. “Has he been there this whole time?” Kaya stood silently for a moment, wondering the same thing. She hadn’t caught his scent until he stepped into view. Did that mean he could hide his presence somehow? Or did she simply not catch on to it due to being in battle? Whichever the case, she didn’t like this surprise. Frowning, Kaya said, “I don’t care if he’s been here or not. We’re gonna win this fight!” To the man she added, “I don’t know who you are, but don’t think for a second you’ve got us beat!”
As she made her declaration, red paper ripped and roiled in the air, bursting into a brilliant flame intent on burning the Fairy Tail mages. Yuki latched onto Kaya’s clothing, pulling her up into the sky with himself to avoid being hit. The Dragon Slayer closed her eyes briefly as she silently wished for her next moves to find their marks. “Water Dragon’s—” Her eyelids flew open. “—Roar!” She aimed the roar at the growing flames in hopes of extinguishing the fire quickly. Once doused, she would angle the powerful stream of water at the tan-skinned stranger. Whether she connected with that one or not, she’d follow up with a secondary attack in a bid to distract him and provide an opening for her friends. Water stopped pouring from her mouth as she raised her arms in front of her. Vortexes of liquid now pulsating around her arms. Clasping her hands together, she chanted, “Water Dragon’s Cascading Bullet!” Bullet-sized projectiles shot out from the shield of water the spell created, in rapid succession. However, because of whatever was happening to her, she couldn’t utilize the technique to its fullest potential. Kaya would do her best though and hope it would be enough.

A shriek or terror and anger ripped through the trees, making Alyssa jump. Katiki blasted through her paper prison with unchained rage and threw a barrage of attacks at their opponents, catching the two of them off guard and causing the shadow wizard, the one that had been giving them the most grief, to finally fall. Normally the requip mage would be happy but right now she wasn't concerned with the state of their enemies. "Inu, stop, calm down. It's ok, I'm here, no one is going to hurt you," she said softly as she approached her best friend. Ignoring the paper wizard for a moment, she sheathed her sword and reached out to the ice-make wizard, gently taking one of her cold hands and squeezing it reassuringly. Moving her other hand to place on Katiki's cheek, she turned her friends face toward her, "See? No one is gunna hurt you. Remember, I promised to protect you from whatever haunts you, always," she said in a hushed tone, hoping to soothe the white-haired girl. Alyssa was drawn out of the situation by a new voice with a much more commanding presence that had the unpleasant hint of a condescending tone. Keeping a hold of Katiki's hand, she turned to find herself facing a handsome young man with tanned skin adorned with expensive-looking clothes and jewellery. She frowned upon hearing his unkind words to his guild mates, the side of her mouth twitching in contempt. Speaking down to guild members was something she severely disliked. Her mood only worsened when the man's attention moved to herself, Kaya and Katiki, calling them weak. Releasing her best friends hand, the requip mage stepped forward. "Excuse me?!" she called out, "Who the hell do you think you're talking to?!" she exclaimed in anger, "I happen to be the current stand-in guild master of Fairy Tail and officially the top S-class member!" she continued to shout, "If you wanna throw ridiculous insults my way then feel free to come and say it to my face!" Furious, Alyssa drew her sword, "Requip: Anneal Blade!" she commanded. Her shadow sword morphed into an enormous black sword with silver edges that required two hands, "Howling Octave" The entire blade burst into flames and she rushed towards the arrogant man, "Take this, d*ckhead!" she cried, swinging the burning sword at the newcomer.
