"If we're storming the castle, I want a sword," said Avalon, flatly. "Hand-to-hand was never my specialty." Sword-stabbing was.
She leaned in close to Babylon and said, "You owe me. The pink set. And I want to go get a sword from the barracks. Or where-ever there would be a sword, or... something sharp."

Babylon, still by the portal, sassing bc change of plans.
Honestly, she was letting him off easy.
"Okay," said Babylon. "Change of plans. We're hitting the barracks to find something dangerous and then we're going to have fun storming the castle."
To Avalon, he nodded, and, lowering his voice, replied, "Anything you want, babe."
Sidouer was one of the last of their growing group to step through the portal and she had to be honest it both was and wasn’t what she was expecting. “Out of the kettle and into the fire.” She murmured under her breath as she took a step near Phact. The feeling of chaos surrounding them quite honestly made the Senshi of Static a bit sick to her stomach. If she thought that the battle at the funhouse or the warehouse where she lost Persephone was bad; this made those instances feel like a walk in the park.
Three paths laid before them and one by one senshi and knights paired up or formed their own little groups before heading towards their destination. “Seems like the majority are heading that way.” Sidouer nodded her head in the direction of the castle. While there was definitely strength in numbers she couldn’t help but feel that adding to their already decent size number would only make them all a bigger target.
“I’m going to take a small group with me to scout out the broken building, see if there is anything salvageable worth bringing back or offer any answers to any of the questions Cadeus’ mysterious appearance brought to light.” The super senshi from several nights before approached the Neptune knight at first. “Would you mind coming with me Sliev?” By the way she was glancing at the broken building, Sidouer had a feeling she'd meet little to no objections by the newly anointed page. “Don’t worry… I’ll do what I can to make sure you stay safe.” From the little well of knowledge she knew of Knights, unless the blonde had an hidden talent for fighting she might very well become an easy target for anyone stronger than a lieutenant.
Turning her attention onto the Pluto knights she called them out. “Nirvana… Havasu… could you two accompany us as well?” With Phacts instruction one did not come without the other and it would probably be wise to separate the two love birds just in case one of them got hurt so the other didn’t lost their ability to think straight; not that she thought either of them would put the rest in danger but when it came to people you care about all bets were typically off at that point, case and point when Acrucis went missing and Phact went off the deep end trying to find her. They were in enemy territory now, they all had to be careful.

Centisima, Senshi of Centipedes, just hanging around the portal for a bit but probs off to the ruins soon
As soon as he stepped through, anxiety rolled through Centisima’s gut and he wanted to throw up. He took a moment, bent over with his hands on his knees, taking in one long breath and getting used to the feeling of all this overwhelming Chaos.
“This was a really bad idea,” he said out loud but mostly just for his own benefit, followed by a sharp crack of laughter. Oh man, he was totally going to get killed here. He would just have to make it as hard as possible for the bad guys.
The others were already splitting up into groups and starting to move, off into three different directions. Castle, barracks or ruins by the look of it. Goodie. The largest group seemed to be heading for the castle which was where most of the fighting would probably happen.
So not the castle then. Let the heavy hitters take that one.
There was another group discussing things nearby but he stayed off to the side, waiting to see if Sedna would follow and considering his opens. The ruins looked like a good bet.

Slievenamon, Page of Neptune
Slievenamon flushed a little and averted her eyes. Was her interest... that evident? She nearly ducked behind Phact to hide her slight embarrassment, but instead, she dipped her chin at Sidouer and put up no protests to her offer. Instead of letting her interest get the better of her, though, she answered as steadily and mundanely as she could.
"S-sure, I can come with," she said. "And... thank you for that. Likewise, I will try my darnedest to stay out of trouble."

Andronicus Squire of Uranus
She wasn't sure what she expected when she crossed into the portal. Stories of Negaspace brought up images of torture chambers, or some sort of military style facility. No memories of the future gave her indication of what it looked like; either those memories didn't survive the time jump, or she simply never visited it at all.
The squire didn't quite expect it to be pretty.
She took in the scenery around her, all crystal and stone, and found it to have it's own beauty to it. Much like a cavern with geodes, actually. Negaspace did seem to be a giant inhabitable geode, the more she looked at it. The portal and crystal flickered off the rock, adding the display of light. It had its own allure, one she could understand. It was the same allure as the rest of the Negaverse: power, strength and resilience. Negaspace stood the test of time, as had Metallia. For millenia she - they, zir, it? - controlled Chaos and allowed it to flourish under a firm hand. Much like the Sith in the old Republic Era of the Star Wars universe, except with less backstabbing, genocide and infighting. No, now it seemed Order had the infighting, while the Negaverse just slowly took over the world. She might not like it, but Andronicus could understand how they'd taken so much power. Let the rabble bicker and prove themselves enemies in the public eye, then slowly feed into positions of power until they could turn the entirety of the city on the White Moon.
There was a power in unity, one the White Moon never achieved.
Green eyes scanned the landscape until her vision came to a building that seemed to deny Chaos' grasp. The crystal tried to over take it, tried to destroy it, but the building simply said 'no'. There was power there, something strong enough to keep Negaspace outside of it. Broken yes, but resilient. Recognition flared through her, and a drive to get there now surged through her limbs. The Academy... maybe.
Alexia had been there, once. It was not for long, but she'd been there. Andronicus was half a step forward when Themiscrya grabbed onto her and hooked arms, breaking her out of the pull to the broken building. Andronicus blinked and grinned at her, returning the hip bump.
"As if I'd ever let you run off into the unknown without me," she said with a chuckle. The woman was not transcended, no pocket watch to show allegience to a long ago pact, but they were sisters, and like hell Andronicus was going to leave her in this mess alone. Admittedly, Andronicus really missed the poleaxe right about now, but one could not have everything.
She summoned her mace as Themiscyra weaved towards another knight. Andronicus snorted at her look, giving her a very amused expression in return, and followed the Martian two paces behind her. In the back of her mind, it seemed like a terrible idea to split up, but they only had an hour. If all they did in that hour was fish some relics out of the broken building and GTFO'd? Then that was good enough for Andronicus.
Good and evil needed each other, and should they take out Metallia... Something far worse could rise to fill that void.
Andronicus is going to the broken building

Sailor Duhr, Senshi of Tornadoes
"Moon dust, huh?"
Steel blue heels clomped their way towards the growing-in-size group. In Destiny City, she hadn't recognized anyone else in the large party. Remus had seemed like a sensible enough fella, though, so after watching him enter the portal, the tall girl only gave herself moments to decide for herself. There sure were a good deal of folks hoppin' through...was she going to risk it? Was she going to let the others walk into a trap? Or was she going to walk away and let them take either the fall or the glory?
When push came to shove, the temptation for adventure was too strong. Even if she managed to claw her way back with her tail between her legs, wasn't no one gonna call Sailor Duhr a coward.
"Feel like y'all could use some twisters in your group?"
She grinned at the others, lifting both her balled-up fists. "Besides Lefty and Righty, o'course."

Chibi Sailor Iduna
It was a miracle Iduna didn't fall flat on her face the moment she came out the other side of the portal. The twelve year old lost her balanced, hopped four times, and came to a halt bracing herself against one of the stone pillar... things. Chaos surged against her senses and she pressed her hands to her head to get it to stop.
It didn't.
Iduna squeezed her eyes shut, stray tears rolling down her cheeks. It hurt, it hurt having her senses wide open and blindingly assaulted as they were. She turned back to the portal to run out because she'd take the worry, and the panic, and staring at Caedus instead of this. If only she hadn't flowed Cadmus in here, she wouldn't---
Cadmus.
Overpowering Chaos signature momentarily forgotten, she looked wildly around for the cranberry chibi. She spotted him by his pink hair and rushed over, latching onto his arm like a kitten.
"Cadmus..." she said, not even aware in the slightest she was clinging to him. "Where... should we go? The other kids I think are going that way..." Fear colored her words, letting on just how terrified she was.
I'm going to die here aren't I...
Unoderi
Sailor Skoll
Whatever she'd expected, it was not this. Skoll looked around, wincing at the force of Chaos that bearred down on her head. Okay, that internal radar crap was great for the city, but this was excessive. Subconsciously, she engaged 'wolf mode', taking stake of their surroundings and threats. One, they'd feel absolutely no one coming. They were gunna be blind and reliant on sight and hearing here. Two, the rocks were not going to be their friends if they got thrown into them. They could be used to their advantage, if Skoll got in a really good kick. Golden-green eyes hardened as her brother spoke, and she nodded.
"Ye, ye. Keep ya ears and eyes open, too. We can't feel s**t with all the Chaos around; they'll jump us unless we pay attention. I ain't gunna bite off somethin' bigger than me, long as ya promise to not try either." Her voice changed, falling into the deeper, commanding octave she used when getting ready for street fights. No bullshit here, this was life or death. She was getting out of this alive, with her brother intact.
Or they weren't getting out at all.
"A'ight, castle it is. Hope the big bad is there, otherwise the old man has some explainin' to do," growled Skoll, starting off in the direction of the castle. She glanced over her shoulder at Hati. "Cover our six, and tap my shoulder if you see anything move that isn't us. "
And so, the wolf that would eat the sun prowled away from the portal, fists clenched and teeth bared.

Bifrost Knight of Chronos
Well now she was here. Not sure why she'd gone through the portal, but damnit if she wouldn't hold the line somehow. She let the gold shield hand from her left hand, both hands gripping the chain. When in doubt: bash enemies with the shield. Where to go through? The broken building brought up feelings of recognition - Prena would have gone there, yes? - but unlike the other knights, she held no desire to go ruin hunting.
There were people to protect and make sure got out alive.
Bifrost sighed. One of these days, she was going to get herself killed again by running into battle.
The knight turned down the path to the castle, shield swinging at her side.
"Hello and it's also nice to meet you, Sailor Myrrha," Aptera greeted the senshi in kind and then she looked to another who was a new addition to their growing number headed to the barracks with calm recognition from when she had previously seen, and first heard even, the talking cat who joined the group in Castor's company during the first meeting arranged by Caedus. "And you as well Arthur, hello," she extended the greeting in kind to him, too, though she'd find it understandable if he had no recollection of her.
Sailor Altair: Team Broken Building
"U-um," Altair began to address Sidouer and Phact as her gaze gradually moved back and forth between both, "p-perhaps if I may be of some assistance in an endeavor to even up numbers of groups forming to head to different areas, I-I can volunteer to join in the group headed to the broken building as well if there may be larger portion of individuals planning on headed to the barracks at present."
"T-to aid everyone's chances of safety in groups, we're modifying where we're headed, Sliev," she moved to stand beside and smiled gently as she spoke converationally with another individual who she had observed that had similarly shifted as she has.

Slievenamon, Page of Neptune Broken Building
Slievenamon nodded her head at Altair, suddenly aware of the situation. While she did like the idea of safety in numbers, she, again, put up zero protests now that she was part of Team Broken Building. It was where she wanted to head, after all.
"That sounds like a good plan," Slievenamon said to Altair with a nod. "I'm fine going with anyone, so wherever you guys are headed, I'll be following." She gave another instinctual glance to the building.

Sailor Cadmus, Chibi Senshi of Cranberries
When Cadmus spotted that his fellow chibi had made it through the portal, he winced at each of her stumbles and hops with the expectation she would fall. Thankfully, she did not, but what occurred next caught him completely by surprise. With Iduna clinging to him, the boy felt himself stiffen like a statue and just stare at her. It wasn't out of embarrassment or disgust; in fact, it was the direct opposite. He was absolutely enthralled.
He stared down at her for what seemed to long of a moment before quickly shaking his head and saying, "I-Iduna, uh, welllll..." He used his other arm to scratch the back of his head absently. "I, uh, I dunno? I mean, there's a few options... The barracks over there... seem... safe... A lot of people are heading toward the castle, seems that's where the main action is... But, um, there's also that weird building... If you want to go there..."
None of them seemed like good options because, like Iduna, he felt his life was forfeit in this creepy place. Swallowing away is fear before it surfaced again, he added, "I-I'd rather keep you safe, though, to avoid a moment like when we fought that vulture youma..." He didn't want to tack on the fact it was because of his own fear she had gotten hurt.

Super Sailor Sidouer // Senshi of Static
“I have faith in you.” Sidouer placed a reassuring hand on Slievenamon’s then glanced over at the young woman, Altair, who honestly could have been Phact’s twin if she didn’t already know that the Senshi of Doves was an only child. “Thank you for coming with us,” she added before turning around to scan those still gathered near.
“If anyone else would like to join us, you’re welcome to come.” To this she offered to those she had not addressed before. “Otherwise I suggest the rest of you go with Phact. It’s easier to offer immediate support if we’re not split up between three different locations.” After which her eyes settled on Sabine“You keep her out of trouble okay? I’m counting on you.” Sidouer offered the young senshi a half smile; a feat in and of itself considering how hard she was trying to hide the fact that being in the rift left her with a very unsettling feeling. There were simply too many things that could go wrong.
“Hey,” The Senshi of Static turned her attention onto Phact. “I don’t know if they’ll work down here but keep your phone near. If something happens call and we’ll head over immediately.” It was the main reason she felt the need to pair up with the page. As it was Knights and Senshi had no means of cross communication, at least this way they had what could be considered as a walkie-talkie if s**t hit the fan and back-up was needed.

Scholomance Squire of Saturn
When Scholomance first reached the gasping darkness of Negaspace, he found himself rooted. The smell of the place was earthen and stagnant, yet somehow rotten to a desiccation. Luminous violet crystals offered the only means of sight in the rocky territories. Nothing stirred, currently - the work of the crystal that Caedus donated to conceal them.
And that portal will only be open for an hour. Unless I want to live down here for the foreseeable future, I'd best get to exploring. But I've never encountered anything quite like this... And as his gaze crawled over the vast, staggering castle, fitted with shadows of teeth and eyes, he knew they were in a land utterly unlike Earth. The entity that lived here, Metallia, carved her own world out of the one she fed off of, and this was the product of her imagination alone. All the energy gathered dutifully by officers and youma alike congealed here into these eerie violet gems and vast, barren sands. Chaos fed and warped the buildings that once stood here into shapes unrecognizable save for the most prominent of architectural choices. This, he realized, was a land ever meant to be bereft of humanity. Perhaps that was the sole reason he did not entirely hate it.
As his gaze wandered, however, he felt a marked pang in settling his sights on a warped, gnarled old building. Violet overtook the most of it into a jagged, leaning shape, but the briefest surge of recognition stopped him from simply moving on. Undoubtedly it contained upheaved floors, crumbling walls and fallen ceilings somewhere within, but if something within it sparked such an intensity in him, then was it not worth exploring? Its original form could not be discerned from its current shape, but Scholomance kept trying to rebuild it in his mind. Nothing rang out to him like before.
A quick glance around confirmed that everyone busied themselves with each other. Mont Blonc caught up with Thrymr, which was good - the pair were established friends, and worked well off each other. He did not see Aegir, or Thraen there, or even Methone - whether they were elsewhere amongst the crowd or didn't step into the portal, he wasn't certain. Perhaps they would not see each other a second time.
That's another possibility, isn't it.
A shaken giddiness settled within him as he started toward the damaged building. He did not have any to flank him, and he only recently began walking absent the cane, but he already accepted the worst case scenario by virtue of committing to the portal.
He had one hour. There wasn't time to chat up friends.
Scholomance is going to the Damaged Building.

Sailor Alcor // Senshi of Cold Sailor Eleonora // Senshi of Heat
Standing beside Athene and Liryn, both Alcor and Eleonora watched as one senshi or knight stepped through the open portal after another. Both still new to this whole war neither had much experience with the other faction which was why they looked to Athene for some sort of guidance.
Since Eleonora’s awakening the Eternal and his cat had become more than just a mentor to the two young women; while they weren’t an official team, if you were to ask them, they were most definitely friends.
First to break the watchful silence, the Senshi of Heat turned her attention away from the ominous looking portal. “So… What do we do now?” Whatever Athene decided she would follow his lead since she trusted his intuition and instinct about these sort of things.

Mont Blonc, Squire of Saturn
Mont Blonc was snapped, briefly, from his odd pull to the old building when he heard Aegir's voice, tight and frustrated. The knight whirled to face him, his yellow eyes wide, and for a long moment he shrank into himself, trying in his usual way to seem smaller than he was, shoulders hunching and gaze dropping back down to the ground. "A-Aegir... it's my fault, really, I - " Thrymr didn't deserve to get yelled at.
Suicide mission. He cringed, visibly, but nodded along to what his friend was saying, because it wasn't as though Aegir was wrong. Even so, even in spite of that - Aegir questioned his pull to the building, and perhaps a bit surprisingly, in spite of his own guilt and nerves, Mont Blonc almost immediately perked up again. It was sometimes his way when it came to affairs of knighthood, both drawn and repulsed by who he was and what he served. There was a grateful light to his eyes, so relieved and delighted that in spite of his rather impulsive, downright stupid move, his friend was still willing to consider his feelings.
(He had to resist the sudden urge to hug him.)
Then, abruptly, he was captivated by Ash, watching her transition from cat, then to person, and then finally to - "Oh my goodness, that was - " he breathed out, his cheeks flushed. "Miss Ash - "
Oh. But, rather logically, the cat-girl questioned whether it was wise to go to the building or not, and Mont Blonc realized he himself had gotten quite distracted. His cheeks burned hotter, and his hands wound together, fidgeting with his pen, as he tried to wind the necessary words together.
"I, uh... that building, I - Miss Ash, it feels - it feels familiar to me, " he sputtered out, and realized how that must have sounded, not at all compelling, but, "I've never - I mean - I think it's important. F-for people like me, maybe. I - think I should go there, " and he said it again, feeling rather silly, but hoping that Ash and the others didn't feel the same, biting down hard on his lower lip.
"I'm no warrior." That was a given. "But maybe - maybe there's something in there that can help?"
If Iduna noticed any sort of change in Cadmus, she didn't let it on. The younger girl looked up at him, worrying her lip and then out at the rest of Negaspace. She didn't exactly want to hide, though her fear pushed her in that direction. The barracks would be safe, she wouldn't encounter anything. They wouldn't encounter anything. Her cheeks flushed lightly as he said he wanted to keep her safe, and she sort of tucked her face into his shoulder.
"Then... maybe we should go to the barracks? I-If you... want to keep me safe," she said against his shoulder. Oh she was embarrassed. Completely embarrassed.
