Corben grew up in the sprawling hills of The Crown, his particular family found themselves nestled in a little valley somewhat out of the way, which gave him plenty of contact with the world in its most bare state. From a young age he was attracted to all sorts of flora, and kept a garden at all times. Corben's fixation on botany is a bit of a sore point for his family, as he often ended up neglecting his responsibilities in order to care for his plants.
When they realized they weren't going to be able to ween him off of his plant-addiction, his family eventually scrounged up the money to ship him off to Asphodel Gardens Academy. A junior upon his arrival, Corben initially felt very out of place. Many of his peers did not share his love of the outdoors, or his boundless energy. He found the developed state of the world around him to be very disorienting at first, but soon found solace in the Academy's greenhouse and outer grounds when he was able to leave campus. From then on, he continued to Leviathan university to continue his studies.
Now, as a teacher, he hopes to share his love of plant life with younger Nightmares. Corben views the "natural world" as very important, and often worries that people may take it for granted with some of the new technology that comes out. Those who dismiss nature as gross or in the way will not get along with him at all.

All plant life, hiking, long walks, being outside, strawberries (in particular), sunny days, rainy days, and the color green.

Being stuck inside, droughts, over development, and dead/dying plants.

Corben is very excited. About almost everything. If he's into something, he's 100% into it and loves it completely. This means the things he does have his full attention while he does them.

Corben is very much extroverted. As much as he loves spending time with his plants, he gathers his energy from being near other people as well. His conversational skills might not be the best, but he tries anyway.
❀❀Generous
Corben definitely practices the Baphomet idea of generosity, though not always with the expectation that he'll get something in return. Unless he truly dislikes someone, he's always willing to lend a hand.

It's more than just knowing what they need, Corben has honed his magic ability to be completely in tune with nature.. the downside is he can't really do anything else, but he's okay with that.

Corben is a very all-or-nothing person, if something catches his attention - really catches it - he tends to obsess over it until he grows tired of it. This means he often neglects responsibilities, relationships, and sometimes even his personal health. Thankfully the only life-time obsession he has is botany.
❀❀Spiteful
Despite his usually happy and excited demeanor, Corben does have quite the temper on him. Woe be to those who mess up his garden or neglect their plants while he's around. Corben tends to take things very personally.

In the sense that he doesn't really pick up on social cues, especially ones surrounding space bubbles. He's very in tune with nature... people? Not so much.
