"Not enough time," Sol lamented, seeing his strongest attack shrugged off with relative ease. Even with the apparent damages it caused, Dull wasn't even slowed down by it. The only casualties to be seen were Dull's jacket and, if one cared to look, the blade that had been used to help facilitate his attack was completely absent. Not even the molten materials from it were left in the attack's wake, instead leaving behind a testament to the sheer intensity of what had been thrown and a sign that perhaps his time away hadn't been spent moping around.
"Why's he running? We can't let him get away!" Aden shouted, already giving chase himself. "Not with what he'd do unchecked."
"We may not have a choice," Sol spoke up. "Our best option is to mitigate his damages while we're still a concentrated force and be fortunate that he isn't the monstrosity we met in Slateport."
"What, and let him live?"
"If his temporary removal from the equation means success for us, Devon and Hoenn, then yes." It had become apparent that Sol at least kept up with the news. "What's more important, Aden? Staying in their way long enough that this pandemic will see mitigation in the region, or fulfilling what I can assume is a needless vendetta? I hope I've taught you well enough to figure out the answer."
Suffice to say there was silence from the both of them as they went after Dull. It couldn't be afforded to let him go after even more of the island if it could be helped, at least if that was his intent.
"Get ready," Amaranth spoke up, looking to her Carbink. She didn't know what Zera had in mind as she puffed up like a child who wasn't getting her way, but whatever it was, it was doubtful to be anything good. The best thing she could think of doing for Aile and anyone else nearby was to keep on a defensive role. For now, she kept an eye on Zera to see what happened next, poised to make a call if the need arose.

"Awww Darts you have to give me more credit then that. But if you says so" Kain said unshooken by the monster. If darts gazed down he would see kain with his sword at a ready position right at S-22 heart. Kain would then twirl around darts holding the fist. "Now then darts..." Kain said Reaching both his arms around darts, Using all his strength he pulled the giritina hybrid under the fist out on the ground. Standing up Kain helped darts up" Shall we do this together?"
Kain knew nothing of computers but he knew he can fight.
Clara would stand at aww at the ferocious bite. "Now's my chance" Clara said throwing her first in the air. Standing behind the Golden attacker, the silver haired girl let out a ambush "Icey wind!"
Clara's bergmite would blast a burst of wind right at the Zapdos ankles, hopefully it would slow her down long enough.

Dista and Beau quickly met each other as the girl and her Metagross finished their slow ascent. Scrambling to reach the metallic Pokemon as he took the last of his momentum to regain some height from his dive, Beau would just barely manage to get a grip on the smooth skinned Phemes. "Look, I appreciate the landing pad, but what can we contribute if we go after that insane man again? We are barely anything compared to Flock of Wingulls over there, and they haven't succeeded in anything besides burning his jacket!" Beau ran his hand over his antenna, eyes darting around in efforts to find something else they could do. Dista was quick with her response, slapping the hyperventilating Vivillon hybrid across the face before placing a hand on Beau's shoulder. Gulping down a breath, Dista forced herself to do something she had promised not to try again. "Th-hey......ne-eed......our......he-hel-help. We c-can't...j-j-just le-e-eave them. Ev-ven i-if we can't.....con-contri-tribute, we need to st-st-stick around." A wavering, hoarse voice managed to struggle out. The voice was distinctly Dista's, but one could see why she had resigned herself to sign language with the severity of her stutter. Beau was unable to respond. Slowly, he nodded to the woman. Giving a soft smile, Dista gave a few taps on Phemes' head and they took off with great speed in their pursuit of Dull.
Aria smirked as she watched Zera's panicked backpedaling away from her. "Sorry, love. I got an image of peacekeeping hero to maintain, even IF I'm not getting paid for it!" The guitarist crowed, tugging at her homebrewed face cover. What had she even grabbed for this? Refocusing on her current opponent, Aria was quick to try and throw a right hook at Zera's stomach and following it, whether success or failure, with a scything right kick that aimed to keep the hybrid from attempting more backpedaling.
"I swear, Kain is trying to kill himself and us." Reno muttered, desperately trying to dismiss his own memories of committing similar suicides rushes towards deadly opponents in his early years. Unfortunately, his current attempt at putting together a plan for distracting S-22 were rapidly approaching this abhorrent idea. "Just when I think I've gotten better with planning, I'm dragged back to this." He added, giving a small sigh and dropping his bag before striding up to meet the Sharpedo hybrid that had negated his current Pokemon's efforts to assault him. Conveniently blocking S-22's vision of where the bag, and Harleen inside currently sat as the Wynaut quickly knocked a Pokeball outside and opened the device as Reno made the last few steps and threw a massive left handed haymaker at S-22's face. A wave of Thunder erupted from behind the metal armed man, the source being his Elekid and its currently gyrating arms that generated the attack. While Reno's current position meant the attack would normally have next to no chance of hitting, the man's robotic limb and the Marowak that was now simply touching S-22's leg guided the Thunder attack to hopefully course directly through the great metallic beast.
Reno was not content with this to be a purely physical assault either. Slamming into S-22's mental defenses with the strength of an armada, he prayed that the combination electrical assault and mental forceful would allow him some measure of access or keep the hybrid from designating one of the other members as his next best target. Reno was Co-Leader of Snagem and he was not going to let anyone be harmed on his watch.

Yuki would lower her head and growl at the Reuniclus, clearly annoyed at the fact that it seemed to have pretty much ignored her attack. Lynnette would give a quick once over of the battle going on before running toward her Dewgong. "Sorry Yuki, but, maybe it'd be better if I let Atol handle this instead? That Reuniclus is probably just going to continue-" the black and purple haired girl wouldn't be able to finish what she was saying, as her Dewgong had taken it upon herself to shoot an Ice Beam haphazardly in the direction of the Psychic Type. Lynnette would scowl at her Dewgong, releasing an exasperated sigh.
The Houndoom would hear the beeping noise, turning to face the console that was beside her. She'd stare down at it for a moment, frowning as she tried to think of why she couldn't actually figure out what was going on with it. And then it clicked. Why was everyone else focusing on the battle and letting the blind girl deal with the navigation console beeping at them? Silver would let out a breathy sigh and turn her head towards the ongoing fight between the Snagems and S-22. All of them seemed to be a bit pre-occupied... it'd be difficult to get someone to help her determine what exactly was going on on the console. So, rather than trying to get someone to help her and possibly get someone hurt in the process, Silver would lay her hands gently on the surface of the console, trying to feel her way around it. She would feel around carefully for the familiar feeling of braille, hoping that maybe someone had thought of the possibility of a partially (or fully, in Silver's case) blind person needing to take control of something in here.
While the Houndoom hybrid was preoccupied with her task, her Noctowl, Hortense, would release herself from her ball, a shadowy aura surrounding her. Seeing the ongoing fight against S-22, the Noctowl took it upon herself to help in the assault on the Sharpedo Hybrid and launch a Shadow Storm towards S-22, not caring who might get caught up in it as well. The Noctowl just wanted to fight, it didn't care who got in the way. Unfortunately, Silver would be too busy trying to see what she could do with what was in front of her to realize that her Pokemon had gotten out and joined in on the fight.

Odd had indeed analyzed how things had worked against Dull, figuring he might have an idea how to deal with the hybrid. Based on what he'd seen during Sol's attack, his and Dull's chi was not entirely unlike one another. Perhaps evidenced by the fact he was the only one so far that had been able to actually hurt the hybrid.
Giving chase as fast as he was able, he got as close to Dull as he could before summoning a horizontal Black Wall in his exact location, figuring that as vicious as it might be, if their energies were similar enough for this to harm him, he might be cut in half by the attempt.
With his Pokemon doing what they could to help Aile defeat Regice, Kaya watched Zera's reaction to her losing situation. Was she bigger now than she was before? "Is she swelling up?" He'd ask, recalling his Leavanny and then his Carbink and Klefki. "She kinda looks like she might......" A realization came to him then. "She wouldn't?!" He exclaimed, astonished that neither he nor anyone else, apparently, had given thought to the possibility that Zera might be capable of using Explosion.
Lykas, as he drew closer to the door, passed by the console Silver was now attempting to figure out.but simply couldn't without eyes. "I'd love to help..." He said calmly. "But I'm not really good with computers unless it's video game related..." He admitted. This was something Isaac or Kaya would be better suited for.

Atlantis_Darts Kess had no choice but to let go of the kid's throat with a strangled yelp as the teeth sank into her wrist, shaking the hand free just in time for the Shadow Rush to connect directly in her midsection, knocking her backwards and down onto her back, enough force that she slid a little bit. With a groan half exasperated, half real, the Zapdos hybrid sits up, her blade retracted for the moment. She chuckles, not hurt all that terribly by the Shadow Rush but the bite to her wrist had been rather effective. "Gotta give it to you kid, you have sharper teeth than I'da given you credit for." Kess gets to her feet, her arm even more pinned to her side than before with the noticeable teeth marks near the injured break. Outnumbered and without access to any of her Electric arsenal, she was still planning to go down fighting. That much was clear as her sword repowers, the blade double the length as before. Clearly without the transistors her well of chi was fully accessable now and she was intending to use it. Suddenly, without warning, a couple of rain drops fall from the sky, first a little at a time, then all at once a torrential downpour, a torrential deluge of rain that could only be unleashed to the tune of one song...Miror B. steps forwards from the rain grimly, his eyes bloodshot underneath his signature red and white afro, a grim Shadow Ludicolo dances into view next to him with a wild gesture, the customary smile on the happy pineapple's face replaced with a sickened grimace from exposure to the virus. The dancer's customarily snappy garb was ripped and torn asunder, clearly signs of him having been busy pulling survivors free from the wreckage. "Kess!" Miror shouts, over the raging howls of the Rain Dance he had just summoned. "Both of us know that you can't win this fight. Your arm is messed up and they have a trump to you, something you never even saw coming. You're beaten, let me clean this up." "Huh, some kind of big fish got out of its little pond." Kess replies coldly, the sword spinning defensively in her one good hand. "Why are you doing this? Aren't you supposed to be onboard the rocket?" "Well, I got to thinking about what we talked about... and you're right." Miror B. says grimly, gesturing to the cast on his leg and pointing at the look of horror permanently etched on his Ludicolo's face. "If we're not near him, more things like this are gonna happen. But I ain't like you. I ain't as strong as you are. And if you think you can do it, then make it happen. But that ain't going to happen if you get caught here." He limps his way in front of the trio of Snagems, separating Kess from them, his Ludicolo primed for battle. "Ain't like I've never done time before... An' I guess... He was going to get me one way or another, even if I stayed... I was always the expendible pawn, even in the end." "..." Kess doesn't respond to a single thing the crook is saying, merely giving a deferential nod of her sharp beak to him before running off, using Agility as she scampers off in a seemingly random direction across the island. "Now we can do this the easy way, Snagems, or the hard way..." Miror B. grunts, pulling two more Pokeballs out as his Ludicolo spins and whirls around in a dance, ready to fight. Tristen had to spit a couple of times as he scrambled back to the safety of his guardians. The taste that he got in his mouth from sinking his teeth into Kess left something rather unpleasant that isn't going to wash away easily, that much he knew. "You alright?" I asked the kid. "Yea..." Tristen said. "I'm fine..." My senses tripped, Freth's soon after. The both of us looked up for a second, staring in confusion. A couple of drops came dozens, then finally a full on deluge. "...there wasn't rain in the forecast, was there?" Freth asked. "If there was, the rocket wouldn't have been set to launch now." I then veered my eyes over towards behind Kess, seeing the disco manchild come forth...and having better days apparently. The two of us listened in on what they were saying; not quite sure what Miror B. was getting at, but knew that at the very least it had to pertain to Ein and it wasn't good. What's crazier is that Miror B. was going to actually try to stall us? Maybe staying in that holding cell did more harm than good on his psyche. Bah... The three of us then took notice to Clara trying to slow down the Zapdos hybrid. We couldn't leave her alone with her. "We got to get Kess." Freth said. "We can't lose her now, and we can't let her get back to Ein. We got her on the ropes." "Miror B. probably isn't going to let any of us go that easily though." I said. "And if I didn't know better, he deliberately got this Rain Dance going on purpose. He'd be a bigger idiot than I thought if that thing didn't have the Swift Swim capabilities." I said. "He can't stop all three of us if we all make a break for it." Freth said. "That would still leave at least one of us behind. Not to mention, you feel that, don't you?" I asked, staring at that Ludicolo. "Shadowfied. Great." "I'll stay..." Tristen spoke up. "What?" I then said, a little stunned. "You two can beat that Zapdos hybrid up without me now, right?" Tristen asked. "Not to mention, you don't want your Pokemon shadowfied too." "Tristen, that's crazy." Freth spoke up. "All it would take is for him to get by your Blitzle and then the rest of your party is a sitting duck." "It won't matter in the end if you don't stop her, or don't get the cure to everyone." Tristen said. "...observant to a fault." I then spoke up, looking at Freth. "...not to mention, what's going to stop that hybrid from trying to do another hostage stunt on him, or worse. He's the slowest of the three of us; I haven't figured out how to teach him anything speed worthy yet. I don't like it any better than you do, but we're short on time and options." I said. "Fine." Freth then said. She didn't like the idea either, but it was one of those desperate situations. "Cover us, Tristen, while we rush after her." "Right." The three of us looked over towards Miror B. across the way. "So, fro man, the easy way or the hard way, right?" I called out to him. The three of us looked at each other one final time then looked back towards him. "The hard way." We then said out, in unison. Freth and I broke off in different directions, both using agility ourselves to try to catch up to Kess and trying to not give an easy target to Miror B, let alone his Ludicolo. "You should have just went and hide instead after you left the headquarters, Miror B! Blitzle! Shockwave!" Tristen shouted, pointing towards Miror B and his Ludicolo. With its agitation showing once more, the Blitzle squealed and unleashed its electrical discharge towards the two of them.

Once Sub felt Cera's chi had become like his own he had begun his part of the plan. The Snagem Leader began to focus on Cera with all his might as he summoned forth as much chi as he possibly could and let it flow into Cera as he attempted to use his own chi to pull her chi into him and create a cycle of shared chi, thus creating a Channel link. Unfortunately Sub would discover there was much resistance to his efforts and that wasn't surprising, Cera wasn't naturally a Dark type and it's not like they had a bond prior to base their link on.
"No, that's not true." Sub insisted to himself, and Cera was certain to hear what he was thinking. And perhaps Sub was right, they did have a bond, one that goes a ways back Images of their time together through Sub's point of view began to flood into the forefront of his mind, as such it would be next to impossible for Cera not to see them as well.
There was the time when Sub was near mortally drained of chi and needed treatment urgently and Cera was one of the first people to volunteer on the journey to seek out what Sub needed to live. True, he didn't remember anything about what was going on when he was knocked out but he remembers what GRAY had shown him. That's right, Sub had watched the recordings and saw some of what Cera had did.
In the reverse there was also the team's catastrophic experience at the Prism Tower in Lumiose City where in a packed room, surrounded by members of the Royal Guard, Sub had used his only Master Ball to capture Cera so that she did not fall into the hands of the Kalosian king, his guards attempting to carry out their orders to capture Cera for him. The loon even jumped out of the tower to avoid the guard.
Or more recently Sub's immense worry and concern for Cera when she underwent experimentation in order to assist with the discovery of a cure for the Shadow virus. Cera could now personally see that his feelings were honest and sincere.
So yes, they did have a bond, they just need to find those emotions buried within their hearts and bring it to the forefront, share them with one another.
"Ready?" Sub thought to Cera as he smiled, not facing her but the smile was for her, she knew it. The channel link had been established. The two were now completely indiscernible outside of their appearance, their chi matched exactly and consistently flowed from one to the other. In fact, it was now wrong to call them separate, on the chi and spiritual level the two were now one presence embodying two bodies.
With the link complete Sub scooped out three Dusk Balls from his pockets an let them fall to the ground, releasing Lenore the Weavile, Griswold the Spiritomb, and Ulalume the Malamar. Nevermore then fluttered over to her trainer and landed on his head, worn out from restraining the shark hybrid, even if it was just for a second or so.
"Let's finish this, Transform." He thought towards Cera before focusing his attention on S-22. "Let's go, Griswold!" He shouted to the Pokemon who let out a fiendish cackle before wrapping its self around his trainer and the three, Nevermore too, disappeared into a shadow on the floor.
"Weavi vile!" Lenore barked at Cera, telling her to hurry up, the girl wanted some action. Ulalume just floated there quietly .

"So this is how the link between channeler and Pokemon is shared... I see now." To Cera, it was an odd experience. The most she knew of channeling came from the outside looking in, seeing how others went about it. Seeing just what that really dealt with, why such a strong bond existed, was eye-opening. But now wasn't the time to worry about that; there'd be plenty of it later. A quick nod from her would give a prompt, certain answer, one that she didn't doubt was known before she ever thought it. "Ready."
Her transforming would prove to further enforce just how much the two were alike for the moment, and why she knew just how dangerous this was going to be. At best, there was only going to be one shot at it, giving all the more reason to ensure that it counts for something. Her form would rapidly change, hardly needing any time to make sure she had the signature right. She knew it was, and she proved it right as Sub disappeared into the shadows by assuming his very form.
More telling would be just how perfect of a transformation it was compared to her usual attempts; there wasn't any oddities, no pink coloration to be found. She was, for all intents and purposes, an exact replication so long as the transformation and link was maintained. And she wasn't going to waste any time in putting everything to use.
"We're going too, Lenore," she spoke up at once, poised and ready to go before racing to the front lines. "Let's see how he handles someone coming at him from every angle!"

Silver's ears would twitch slightly at the sound of Lykas's voice beside her. Looking up to face him out of pure habit, the Houndoom hybrid's scarred eyes would gaze blankly at the person in front of her. "I'm not exactly great with computers either, but it was making noise and no one else seemed to be trying to figure out what was up with it," Silver would say, a little gruffly but relatively calm, all things considered. "A bit of help would be appreciated though," she would say with a chuckle, gently rubbing the back of her neck with one clawed hand.

Ulalume just floated there quietly .Darts joins in in his own way, more and more azure Outrage flowing through his arms and legs as he pours every single drop of power he felt he could reach for, his jacket ballooning out behind him, the various folds of muscle inside it flexed in protest to that much strength being pushed through it, but even still the gambler reached for more and more, diving into the fight. He disappeared from in front of Reno, his presence erased for a couple seconds until he comes back into reality with a sonic boom announcing his presence as he breaks the sound barrier in combination with his Shadow Force, throwing the biggest haymaker he could. The sound of all the necrotic energy he could muster joins the chaos of everything else assaulting S-22, and even as Darts switches into another rotation of punches and kicks... keep your elbows in... keep your guard up... and his very humanity begins to erode from contact with this much Dragon-type energy as he hammers the enormous hybrid over and over again, joining the Thunder attack and the Reno had ordered a second before, and the rampaging Noctowl flying in, Darts could tell they were barely making a scratch. Although... now that he looked carefully enough... there were slight scuff marks on the floor in front of the Sharpedo hybrid's bare blue feet. Were they... moving him? Darts redoubles his efforts, only to be carelessly backhanded by S-22, that sends him flying out of the room to crash into the machine Isaac was working on it whines in protest as Mission Control continues to babble instructions at him in Cozmo's voice. S-22 turns his merciless gaze to Reno's Pokemon next, even as the fist hits his face and he doesn't even flinch, his wide mouth quick as lightning as it crunches down on Reno's artificial arm, ignoring the lightning completely as though it was being dispersed out of his body through artificial means. One tug was all it would take for a fatal date with those rows and rows of teeth in front of him. But on the mental plane as Reno tried to do battle with the physical monstrosity in front of him, he'd be confronted with something almost as grotesque. From deep inside the layers and layers of defenses, some of which Reno now penetrated, a mental image of a tank crashing through the outer concrete walls of the mental fortress he'd seen before only to be met by a towering mess of steel and barbed wire, another fortress leaping in to replace the first, he'd be able to sense something that seemed like consciousness. Barely perceptible, like a cool breeze in a slaughterhouse considering the bloodlust Reno was surrounded by, but there. As for the duo angling towards the computer console, while it beeped again in Silver's face, Lykas would be able to tell that it was some kind of thruster power regulator. Shutting them all off was probably not a good option, but if they had some kind of outer control booth that could tell them where in the regions they were flying currently maybe they could do two things: get to a high enough altitude so Sub's plan goes off without a hitch and still manage to spread the cure over the regions. It was worth a shot, but the only one who knew where they were was probably Mission Control, and who knew how to get ahold of them? Darksol88 "Not enough time," Sol lamented, seeing his strongest attack shrugged off with relative ease. "Not with what he'd do unchecked." "We may not have a choice," Sol spoke up. "Our best option is to mitigate his damages while we're still a concentrated force and be fortunate that he isn't the monstrosity we met in Slateport." "What, and let him live?" "If his temporary removal from the equation means success for us, Devon and Hoenn, then yes." It had become apparent that Sol at least kept up with the news. "What's more important, Aden? Staying in their way long enough that this pandemic will see mitigation in the region, or fulfilling what I can assume is a needless vendetta? I hope I've taught you well enough to figure out the answer." Suffice to say there was silence from the both of them as they went after Dull. Tesei Utakata Dista and Beau quickly met each other as the girl and her Metagross finished their slow ascent. Ellisanderia Yuki would lower her head and growl at the Reuniclus, clearly annoyed at the fact that it seemed to have pretty much ignored her attack. Blizzard120 The three of us looked over towards Miror B. across the way. Espeon_Commander "Yes! Voort made an opening, take it," Aile excitedly thought, recalling Voort as he took an Ice Punch in retaliation, doing a lot more damage to him than to Regice, probably. "Thank you Voort, you did your job perfectly!" Her gaze would shift over to Zera backing up as the Sandstorm ebbed away, dissipating as quickly as it came from Eisley. "That may not be a wise idea, lady," she'd call out as the eyes on Regirock crackled with lightning, sending off a Zap Cannon almost immediately afterwards. She'd take out yet another Pokéball afterwards, just waiting to see the aftermath of the attack to send out the Pokémon. How strange that all of the Snagems would end back up at the same spot where all of them had started, Dull coming up running with half a city chasing him, and Kess with two Articuno hybrids on her tail. Dull casually blasts Aria away with a wicked looking Shadow Ball, his jacket still coming apart at the edges as more and more of it flakes away, pieces of his hair and clothing underneath now going too, black inky shards flaking away. Above all of it, Dull looks crazed even for a Gengar hybrid, his eyes wild with a combination of adrenaline and shock as he runs towards Zera, his skin beneath the clothes an odd blackish-purple color like it had been burnt. He's also visibly winded for the first time the Snagems can probably remember, but as Kess arrives also making a beeline for Zera, her sword was stowed in favor of a Pokeball seeing as her other arm was covered in teeth marks, her wrist dangling limply where it was broken it looks like no member of Team Cipher got out of their respective rendezvous with Team Snagem without their fair share of battle scars. The Zap Cannon is too late for anyone to do anything about, and Regirock delivered a spear of lightning that crashed through the torso of the Regice, ice shards exploding in all directions as the defending legend keened in pain, toppling over to the ground. "Regi!!!!" Zera screams, muffled a little bit by... something. And as her Reuniclus gets hit by the Ice Beam, only a few moments went to waste as soon as she saw both Ciphers come running in, a smile breaking over her now slightly distorted face. "You got the message!" she screams, waving as she pulls out a Pokeball and her Master Ball to return her two Pokemon. "Guess that means..." she lights and lifts a cigarette to her mouth, taking one slow drag before opening her mouth wide with just a little apprehension as the two Ciphers converge on her position. Dull points back at Sol who was chasing him, barely any jacket left as he screams over the commotion all around, the townspeople beginning to sense the end of the destruction and coming forward now too. "You hurt me! And for some reason because it was you all these voices in my head are pissing me off even more! I never forget a face, and I will pay you and yours back a thousand fold for what you did to me today in flesh!" The shiny Gengar hybrid gibbers, clearly on the way out of the realm known as sanity. A crooked, wicked smile crosses his face as he looks at the gathering of the innocent and he laughs. "But I guess that means if you've defeated us, as is tradition with us villains, we must... blast off!"Anyone who had been paying attention to the two Cipher's movements might have been able to discern an odd smell that had alerted Dull and Kess silently at the same time, like a natural gas line broken open, and as Zera drops the cigarette into her open mouth and Kess throws her Pokeball, there's a deafening explosion followed by white heat as the fire expands outward from inside Zera, consuming hungrily the gas she had been secretly emitting this entire time following her Explosion attack. Combine that with the power of something as devastating as an Explosion attack, and the column of fire reaching into the sky as it spread outwards from the epicenter might have seemed a bit overkill. The two Gym Leaders, apparently sensing something of the kind from the Cipher's minds, are the first to react. "Lunatone! Solrock!" they bellow in unison. "Barrier! Max power! Protect the town!" two enormous ramparts of psychic force come crashing down in front of the nearest group of civilians but there were a ton more in the line of the ridiculous explosion, not to mention... the Snagems. Someone should probably save Mission Control too to keep an eye on the guys on the rocket. Blizzard120 "You should have just went and hide instead after you left the headquarters, Miror B! Blitzle! Shockwave!" Tristen shouted, pointing towards Miror B and his Ludicolo. With its agitation showing once more, the Blitzle squealed and unleashed its electrical discharge towards the two of them. Elsewhere in Mossdeep..."Protect." Miror B. orders lazily, as he looks back the way Kess had gone for an instant, the green shield blocking the little Blitzle's attack. "Y'know, kid." Miror says, almost nostalgically. "You got a lot of cojones for someone as young as you are. Keep that optimism, don't let anyone take that from you." He clenches one of his gloved hands, looking back at the direction Kess had gone. "I'm gonna level with you kid. I knew I couldn't stop those two from taking off after her any more than I could save half the people I tried to dig from the rubble today thanks to your leader And I could wipe the floor with you here, maybe easily, maybe not I'm not making any predictions. But one way or another, for trial or my own devices, I think I'm gonna go home. I'm sick of these crazily powered hybrids and these madmen with their schemes. Whether they extradite me back to Orre for trial and prison, or something else, those guys are gone anyhow." There's an enormous crash unlike anything Tristen would have ever heard that comes floating over Miror's shoulder, followed by a rising column of fire on the horizon, in the middle of town. A warm breeze blows past the two of them, and the old gangster looks into the boy's eyes. "You might want to worry about somebody that's more important to you than me right now." he says, somberly, as the explosion begins coming in their direction. "My Ludicolo can help contain the fire, but if you take me down here I never will. So. What'll it be?"

"Excuse me?" Sol couldn't say he knew anything about any voices speaking to Dull or why they would incite such anger in him, but it was hard to deny the growing lack of sanity in the Gengar hybrid's words. But hearing the last part, mixed with the sudden intense explosion threatening to render everything back to a starting point, he was prompted to take to as front of a line as he could. He was certain the attack would kill him, perhaps even go so far as to leave no ashes in its wake. But without sacrificing his Pokemon to potentially mitigate it even slightly, there weren't a lot of options.
"Aden, Amaranth, run," he said at once, arms outstretched before taking an X formation in front of him. A futile effort to further defend, it seemed. "It's unlikely any of us will survive here. Focus your efforts on the Space Center and keep it from them or whatever mission control they have from going up in smoke with the rest of us! Liza and Tate, if you have anyone that can teleport, use them to get as many of the townsfolk as possible away." His bracing would break long enough to send out his Xatu, feeling that risking any shadowfication was more than worth the alternative. "She'll help if at all possible. Now, move!"
Needless to say, Aden hurried off, knowing good and well he'd be destroyed on the spot. He lamented that he didn't have a chance to find or recall his Arcanine, but at this point, he didn't have a choice in the matter. Readying a Pokeball as he neared the Space Center, he sighed and kept himself ready. "Really hope you can serve as a good enough wall for this..." He said to himself, sending out his Nidoking and hoping enough of the explosion and its flames would be mitigated before it reached them.
Amaranth, on the other hand... chose to remain with the rest. For whatever reason, she decided that running wouldn't help in the end. "...No. I'm staying. Carbink, bring up another Reflect!" She spoke up, her Carbink trying to assist in the efforts of Liza and Tate's Pokemon. Even if it was futile, maybe it'd have some use, she hoped. If it didn't... well, she could at least say she went down fighting unlike last time.

Freth and I managed to regroup, getting off scot-free from Miror B., seemingly without a hitch. We rushed off, managing to regroup with everyone, squaring off against not only Kess, but apparently the two others that were in a full-on brawl. Dull was ragged, Zera probably more so. S22 though was missing, same with Ein. They had to still be up at the rocket. Hopefully the others were close by those guys; by my count there are few people unaccounted for here in this standoff. Though one out of place. I thought I had sensed it...Sol's back. About freakin' time.
With Dull's rambling, Freth and I stared in confusion, but something graced my sense of smell. "What's that?"
"What's what?"
Upon's Dull's quip of blasting off, I noticed Zera dropping her cigarette, only to realize what that entailed. Almost quick draw like, I got near Freth, throwing up a Reflect screen to protect her. That said, upon the explosion, my Reflect was already failing. I wasn't that skilled in this sort of thing. The barrier was cracking already in a grand hurry and I was about to lose it in the next couple of seconds. "FRETH!" I shouted.
"Kadabra!" Freth shouted, tossing out her own Pokeball, revealing it. "Kadabra! Reflect!" Freth shouted. The Kadabra brought up its own, larger and proficient protective barrier, just as I ended up losing mine. "Ugh."
"Kadabra isn't going to be able to hold on to this forever, Blizzard! Even with those Gym Leaders helping!"
"Blast it! We got to stop this fire!"
---------------
Tristen jumped at the sound of the explosion, looking off at the distance. "Freth...Blizz..." Tristen said. He looked back towards Miror B, listening to him. He wasn't sure if this was a trick, or if he's actually sincere about all he just said. Then now the offer about helping contain the fire was tempting, but what was going to stop him from running off right now? He wasn't sure what to do. He wasn't expecting this. Miror B probably did have the capabilities to douse the fire, probably better than anyone on this island. He knew that his parents didn't at least. The boy thought for a couple of seconds, then gave a sigh. "Alright. Help them." Tristen said, watching Miror B. rather intently, waiting on any false moves that the disco man could pull.

Reno was at a make or break point with the hybrid monstrosity before him. He was technically trapped in the thuggish being's jaws, but he was gaining ground on the mental side of this conflict that could be noted. He needed something to give him the space to truly focus on the one area where he and this beast might be on even terms. Giving a few quick knocks against S-22 with a nice kicking motion, Reno signaled to his gathered Pokemon to assault the beast. Gruff was the first to arrive with an attack, slamming a mighty Double Edge into S-22's mouth and aiming to free Reno's arm as Sparks came charging in with a Thunder Punch straight to a...sensitive area on your average male. Hey, Elekids are short and this was an effective strategy. As Reno was released from S-22's jaws or, if these two attacks were unsuccessful in freeing the entrapped limb, detached his arm and abandoned it in the Sharpedo hybrid's maw, a massive beam of shadowy energy that chilled the very air coursed past to slam into the mechanical being, the Shadow Ice from Tesei aiming to freeze its target solid or at least hamper his movements.
Sliding away over to where his Wynaut was, Reno directed his full attention to the mental conflict he was faced with. A tank, He thought to himself, Glad to see I've found a mind with more overt symbolism than both me and Kain's together. It would only take a second, as the tank likely lined up a shot at him, for Reno to take the initiative and charge towards the great vehicle. He was aiming to leap on top of it and borrow it for his own use to get through the rest of this mental bombardment and, unless something deemed itself fit to stop him, he was making sure he powered on through to that little sensation of consciousness he could feel.
Aria was thrown away from her attempted assault on Zera as the Shadow Ball detonated on the ground just before she could do anything that might have resembled an attack. Thrown across the ground and scraping away at the raw skin she already possessed from the last time that happened, she ripped the silky cloth that she had been using to cover her mouth away and looked over to Zera and watched as her cigarette slowly dropped. Glancing over to her Carbink, she grabbed the smaller Pokemon and dove towards the other Snagems. "Carbuncle! Reflect! We need to help out as much as we can!" The small gew encrusted Pokemon would respond as best it could, attempting to aid Amaranth and the Gym Leaders in damage prevention.
High up in the sky, just outside the reaches of the explosion, Dista and Beau stared down at the engorged fireball before the Vivillon hybrid looked to his Poliwag. "Rain Dance. See if we have any effect on stopping that." Beau stated, watching and hoping that all of this might somehow halt the oncoming storm that Mossdeep was about to face.

"Vile vile!" Chanted as her claws began to glow a dark purple color with Dark chi as she charged up for a Night Slash attack, just waiting for the right opportunity. Cera would begin to feel her own chi beginning to swell, collecting in her limbs as her feet gave off a sinister aura as well as her hands. The imposter Sub would feel like she could run faster than ever, that smashing a board of wood was a simple task. However, one thing was certain, this chi was very short lived and was more like a rush of adrenaline to her. She had to strike now, perhaps with Lenore backing her up.
Almost instantly, as S-22 clamped down on Reno's mechanical arm (though not in time to save) a murder of Murkrow fluttered out of Reno's shadow, swarming around S-22 was Nevermore executed her Double Team in an effort to confuse the monster. But distracting the menace was not the only plan, no, if S-22 locked eyes with the real Nevermore, and she was trying to, if success the beast's eyesight would become pitch black. Sub was attempting to switch vision with the creature, S-22 seeing the darkness within the shadow Griswold carried him into and thus Sub would see through S-22's eyes, hoping to use the field of vision to alert his fellow teammates with Cera's telepathy on whatever erratic actions would take place.
As for Ulalume, Cera would have shared thoughts with her prior, knowing that the squid needs a strong focal point to aid Cera with her own abilities, and that's why Cera needs to get as close to S-22 as possible and for as long as possible. Time was of the essence and they didn't have enough of it.

Even with his limited technological skills, it wouldn't take Lykas long at all to figure out what the console he was standing near with Silver was used for. "Looks like it's a sort of steering control unit...." He said, trying to get a better look. Maybe there was some kind of instruction manual here or a speaker to communicate with someone with? And then Darts went flying past him, distracting him for a moment or two. "Holy ~/~ that ~/~ strong!" He exclaimed, not exactly the most familiar with S22's titan-like strength. He would have joined in to help fight the behemoth but it looked like Silver needed his help more so he returned his attention to the console for now. "It looks like this should take us higher..." He said, looking at a particular set of buttons. Who knew if they would work, though, so he was hesitant to push any of them yet. "I wish we could contact mission control. They'd be able to walk us through this....." He groaned, already annoyed by this and ready to simply mash a few buttons, most of them on S22's face.
Kaya, seeing his fears realized, immediately released his Klefki and Carbink once more. "Double Light Screen!" He ordered the two. Everyone else was resisting the concussive force of this explosion. Someone needed to mitigate the heat and flames, after all. He would have turned to run if he thought there was even the smallest chance of escape for him. But there was none.
Odd, seeing Dull just barely avoid his attempt at bisecting the spirit hybrid, dove forward, sliding across the Wall he'd conjured, slamming an open palm into it in order to reclaim some of the energy poured into it's creation. "Cadenza, stay behind me!" He ordered his partner, though he dug deep within himself, drawing out every ounce of energy he could spare when he saw the explosion beginning ahead of him. "Lend me your energy, my friend." Following his expression of reliance, he thrust his spirit outward, conjuring a Black Wall, warped in shape as close to a hollow column as he was able to make, attempting to surround the flames and force them skyward, away from the city. What were the odds that he would succeed? Incredibly low and he knew that but what other choice did he have? He refused to run, like a coward, and leave the people of the city to fend for themselves against this.
Maintaining the wall took everything he had to offer so regardless of success or failure, he was going to need someone to move him after it was over.
