Why are the Pokémon so weak?? I'd really like to challenge the first gym sometime, but these level 5's are getting in the damn way! I feel Teito isn't going to care much for this one until it's at or above level 10.
One level 5 Solrock, 5 Cheri Berries, and the Odd Essence/Moonstone.
EDIT: Actually, change Solrock to Chimchar. Now the second starter who evolves into a Fire/Fighting-dual type will be Teito's. At least Chimchar will get more love than Solrock.

Well, it may be level 5 but I can't pass this opportunity up, so Felix gets a level 5 Houndoom.
I'll hand my newest character, Cameron, one each of the five different kinds of berries, as well as the Moonstone since he's apt to catch a Skitty or something fairly soon after he gets his starter and goes on his journey.
Finally, just so she won't be left out, Sable can have the Odd Incense.

I'm sorry that you are upset about the low level pokemon, but the point of these giveaways is to try and give people pokemon that they want to have on their team that they would otherwise have a hard time obtaining, as well as some items that are nice to have around that people wouldn't normally take the time to post for. Plus, we sort of range the level of pokemon given away based on all the other prizes we give. This time it was level 5 because this time we gave out an Odd Incense, a rare event only giveaway item, so it makes sense to not hand out level 10 pokemon on top of that when that item could be used to give a lot of levels to some pokemon. And this is also why we set up the daycare the way we did. If you don't want your character encountering a pokemon at level 5 at its starting evolution, you can send it to the daycare and level it up there prior to giving it to your character, that way it can be at a more acceptable level or evolution for whatever you wanted to use it for in terms of plot and the like, but you still have to work for the levels. That being said, your comment feels really rather mean spirited.... I mean, I don't blame you for wanting higher level pokemon, but you could have expressed that frustration in a way that doesn't come off as an attack on the horoscope giveaway and the members of the guild who helped create it. :c

I guess I'll snag a level 5 Litwick and 5 Cheri Berries for Ophelia. Ezra will get the Odd Incense and Moonstone. Kind of wish event items like the incense can be distributed to all of a player's characters to be fair, but whatever. At least the prizes are evenly split this time.
